141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why I have bought Bitcoin ? on: August 26, 2022, 12:08:29 PM
In 2015 many people threw away Bitcoin just to buy a few things they needed or something else using Bitcoin, without them realizing the price of Bitcoin from year to year is always growing and continues to grow until now. Therefore, how important it is to store Bitcoin from the past until now because in the development of technology that is increasing, surely one day everyone will hold Bitcoin for investment that is really very useful in the future.
142  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Help a newcomer on: August 26, 2022, 11:51:05 AM
What can be expected of you and what can be shown to everyone here, if you are really part of the developer group, because you are not showing any link to connect with you. Since you are only speaking without giving the truth about yourself, will the people here believe it, with what you are saying, surely everyone will think this is just a joke you are talking about.
143  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Pi mainnet on: August 26, 2022, 11:27:06 AM
What do you expect from a Project like this, they just give false hope to everyone who says it's mainnet but till now they haven't been listed on any exchange. I think this is a scam project that just wants to take advantage of everyone, once they get their profit they slowly disappear and leave the project. So be careful in choosing a project and do an assessment first to make sure if it is really good in the future and never expect what is promised with a project like this.
144  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to know a good bounty on: August 26, 2022, 10:56:48 AM
In my opinion, for now it is very difficult to know a really good bounty project to pay for the hard work of the bounty, not like it used to be, because the project now only thinks about money and never thinks about the future of the project they have formed. So if you want to join a bounty project, you better see if he has entered the market or not, if the project has entered the market it means the project they are working on is very serious in the future, that way you can join the bounty they hold on this forum.
145  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Know when to buy and hold on: August 26, 2022, 10:31:30 AM
I don't know about you but for me I will only hold coins for long term if we see a unforgiving bear market ( better buying opportunity ), I believe bear market hold the key to long term holding, I can't buy coins at high price sorry ( present market is buying at high price) and decide to hold for years, I will only buy now to sell later ( short term ).. stupid idea? Let's hear your thoughts
Looking at the current bear market there are indeed many coins that go up and down, it all depends on the quality of each coin itself, maybe if you want to buy coins with the current market situation I think it looks good, but you need to know this in a situation like this if you buy cheap coins and you decide to invest in the long term maybe the coins you buy do not have good enough potential in the future and you risk losing, because the coins you invest at that time do not have good value. In my opinion, it is better to buy high priced coins that seem to have very good potential in the future, so that your long term investment will definitely benefit you with your long term investment in the future.
146  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Knowing Potential projects on: August 26, 2022, 09:49:50 AM
As we all are seeing the launching of new projects one after one. So, one should take care of many things before investing. How to know the real potential of these new projects?

If you want to know the potential of the new project, and you can understand it below:

1. Check the list to see if the token is worth it
2. Visit the project website
3. check social media profiles
4. Community evaluation to see if cryptocurrency projects are worth doing
5. Read the White Paper
6. Understand whether the project has real utility
7. Fraud Check

This is according to the way I know about seeing the potential of a new project, if you are interested in using this method please do so, but if you are not interested in the method I provide that is fine. You can also use your own way to determine what you want to do.
147  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: XRP potential? on: August 24, 2022, 04:34:08 AM
If you want to invest long term why do you buy XRP, why not buy other Altcoins such as BNB, ETH or MATIC maybe from these three Altcoins the future potential is very good for long term investment, maybe this is just my opinion, but if you believe in investing Your long term with XRP deserves to be appreciated and you take actions with your own choices that are better than you following what people say. Hopefully what you have invested in XRP will benefit from what you want in the future.
148  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Cryptocurrency = The mother or father of all scams and bubbles on: August 24, 2022, 04:07:59 AM
Nouriel Roubini describes cryptocurrencies as "the mother or father of all scams and bubbles." Also, he thinks that blockchain is a simple thing and blockchain is nothing more than a sheet in "Excel"!

Like WT*  Lips sealed
I have always seen detractors of Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies. But this one, it's hilarious.
In my opinion, these are the words of someone who has no knowledge about cryptocurrencies and blockchain. Also, I think that his only reason for saying such things is to become a little more famous and we hear his name on social media.

Granted, there is a lot of ridicule and bad news being spread by unscrupulous people about Bitcoin but it doesn't really affect the market much. People like this in my opinion are just idiots who don't have extensive knowledge of crypto and Blockchain, so what they say is like a weird joke that sounds like a child who doesn't know anything about this.
149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Started accepting Bitcoin as a 4th means of payment in my noddles DEPOT on: August 24, 2022, 02:39:42 AM
After started my noddles DEPOT on January 2021, I started by accepting cash payment, mobile banking transfer and a POS marching so that customers could make payments just with their debit/credit card without having to carry cash about.

my customers seem not to be satisfied with these Three payment method, they always have few complain like;
1: oh! I forgot my debit card at home
2: oops!! I don't have enough cash to make full payment
3: ah!! my bank network is not connecting, I can't make transfer.

the problems I have had with this payment method are:
1: receiving late payment as a result of banking network.
2: when customers pay with their Debit card using my POS marching, they get debited and I end up not receiving credit alart unless I go and lounge a complain in the bank for reversal.
3: some times I mistakenly take counterfeit cash
4: I got harassed by some street thief's

following the ideaology of a Nigerian brother in this forum, I have made up my mind to be more practical as a Bitcoin believer. I decided to accept crypto as another means of payment in my noddles DEPOT.
According to WINA (World Instant Noodles Association), Nigeria is ranked 12th largest consumer of instant noodles in the world with estimated annual demand of 1.79billion packets of noodles. Reports also put the number of Nigerians that consume noodles at 14million which is nearly 10% of population of Nigeria.
I placed a Notice outside my shop front stating "We are now accepting Bitcoin for payment".
first week of placing this notice was like no result achieved, most customers keep asking how I think this kind of idea would work and I said to them, nothing is impossible. lot of customers were also curious 🤨🧐 to pay in Bitcoin/crypto currency instead of carrying cash about.
3 weeks later, I received the first payment from 5 customers in Bitcoin, BUSD, USDT and BNB, transaction was fast and secure and my customers were happy 😁 as I was too.
Those who wants to buy noodles and pay in Bitcoin, BUSD, USDT or BNB are welcome, transaction is so fast and secure with only little transaction fee.
I am open 24/7 to receive your order, you can send DM and your order will be delivered.
I hope this is a good step I took?

It seems very good for the idea that you live by accepting Bitcoin as a payment method in your DEPOT noddles, it's really not easy to tell them what Bitcoin is and teach them how to use Bitcoin especially for those who don't understand at all especially old ladies and gentlemen , you have to be very patient in telling them and others to pay with bitcoin. I'm sure if you keep telling everyone about the idea of paying using Bitcoin on your DEPOT noddle, people will definitely keep visiting your DEPOT noddle.
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Fact about Shiba on: August 23, 2022, 12:29:40 PM
You have a point but if someone like Elon take on Shiba in future then another insane pump is possible, this is not guaranteed but its not bad having some millions of Shiba tokens in your wallet, either massive pump or not this project will still be profitable on the long run.
I think you're saying if Elon buys a shiba indeed a big pump will happen, but it can be seen in just a few weeks or a few months, when everyone is hooked on buying it is bound to be a huge dump and everyone holding the shiba will be caught in the low price. Maybe if the Shiba token has a very good quality in the future it will surely rise and benefit everyone who holds it.
151  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your ultimate choice? on: August 22, 2022, 09:20:57 AM
So, guys what will be your choice from these coins and why? Any specific reason? - BCH, AXS, EOS, BTC, ETH
For my choice with some of the coins you have mentioned above, I made the choice to stick with Bitcoin, because Bitcoin was the first to be created and the heart of all the other Altcoins when there were a lot of FUDs out there who wanted to make the Bitcoin price fall but didn't succeed and Bitcoin still exists and continues to grow. So there is nothing to worry about when holding Bitcoin, indeed basically everything investing in crypto is very risky.
152  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The hidden gem on: August 22, 2022, 08:45:02 AM

The token managed to survive the bear market while everything else dumped massively, i believe now could be a good time to get in

Project site: https://macncheese.finance
Governance: https://xvmc.io
Staking: https://xvmc.app
I don't think the project is bad, I see a lot of facts that it's not as good as it used to be and it's unbelievable, I'm sure everyone here will have the same opinion as me. Then what to expect from this bear market, let's see that BTC ETH and BNB have seen the price drop, with a bear market like this, what else is XVMC project which looks like a new project. Research before going any further for your future investment.
153  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Next Gem Coin on: August 22, 2022, 07:52:06 AM
I see this Altcoin is indeed very good in the market, but if you say this is the next gem I am not sure, because in my research this Altcoin was only launched in 2020 so it is not possible to replace old Altcoins like ETH or BNB for the next generation. Why I say that is because HTR is still relatively new and not many communities are really in crypto, so its future viability is uncertain.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Be a Bitcoin believer on: August 22, 2022, 07:17:52 AM
Cryptocurrency pioneers, nice to meet you, this is my dad's account.
He is a dedicated promoter of the crypto community. He used to explain Bitcoin to me when I was a kid.
I am very glad that your dad introduced you to a legacy which last (Bitcoin), because it actually takes a man who soo much believed in Bitcoin to actually do what he did. And he will be proud of you taking over his account to strive to learn and fully understand how Bitcoin work. Because Bitcoin has come to stay and it's going nowhere.

You are absolutely right about this, he was a great kid who got to hear stories from his dad about Bitcoin when he was a kid and inherited what his dad told him back then. because I rarely hear stories of children today listening to what their fathers say to their sons, because most young children ignore their own father's stories when they grow up he takes his own path but doesn't really inherit what his father had. But unlike this kid, he can go ahead and use his father's account, so that he can be like his father to be a promoter in Bitcoin, I think that's really great for him.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin as my new payment method on: August 22, 2022, 06:39:02 AM
I’ve been a merchant wholesaler for the past four years now. A lot has changed in my business since I introduced Bitcoin as a means of payment. I receive money quickly, I’m able to save up by storing and holding my bitcoins and I can withdraw from my account at my convenience, no limit options. This is far beneficial to me than when I was using banks. Within the first two years Of starting my business I always go to the bank to increase my account limit and set up other necessities. Sometimes it doesn’t get effective immediately I have to wait for 48hrs or the next five working days before it works and still I do have some issues from time to time. This year I decided to start receiving  Bitcoin as a means of payment. All I did was print out my wallet address, pasted it on the wall and my customers who knew about Bitcoin already  was so delighted I introduced Bitcoin as a means of payment and for those who didn’t have an idea,I educated  them on how Bitcoin works and how it can be useful to them.. Everything has been going swiftly,I’m so glad I made this great life changing decision of making Bitcoin a payment method in my business.
It seems that what you are doing is very good for the development of your store, if only all stores around the world used the method you use like this it must be very easy for everyone to shop using Bitcoin when they do not carry cash, surely everyone will prosper and all shops will definitely be crowded like your shop. But in some countries there are restrictions on the use of Bitcoin that have been implemented and have their own rules that must be respected by the nation itself. So, congratulations to you for allowing everyone to shop at your store with the payment method using Bitcoin.
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: CRYPTO IS NOT A GET RICH QUICK SCHEME on: August 21, 2022, 11:32:29 AM
Yes you are right about that, if you want to get rich with crypto for now it probably won't be possible, because currently the bear market is still dependent on crypto exchanges. But if you want to force yourself to buy and you can determine what you think is good in the future to choose 1 or 2 options for the ALT you want to buy then you will benefit from what you have invested in the future.
157  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Transfer through Cell Phones Possible ? on: August 21, 2022, 10:42:45 AM
This is something that is impossible to do, because sending Bitcoins without using the internet is something that is completely impossible. Bitcoin is a digital currency in the form of numbers, so when we want to transfer Bitcoin to someone else via cellphone, of course the cellphone that we use for the transfer will go to the internet network so that our shipment reaches that person.
158  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If Satoshi Nakamoto Reveal his identity ............ ? on: August 21, 2022, 09:29:27 AM
Satoshi Nakamoto will never publish his identity to everyone, because in my opinion if he gives his identity it will threaten him to be hunted by big investors who hold a lot of Bitcoins, because they think if Satoshi Nakamoto gives his real identity it will definitely damage the Bitcoin price in the future and this is a very big threat to Satoshi Nakamoto. I'm sure Satoshi Nakamoto would not be able to do something stupid like this because it would threaten Satoshi Nakamoto's own safety.
159  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Beware of pancake telegram account on: August 20, 2022, 11:41:05 AM
Ok i am not sure it is official pancake telegram being hacked or it was fake account from the beginning. I mean it has almost 238k followers. Now telegram showing scam along with it. And it's latest message asks for synchronizing your wallet for fixing issue which is clearly scam. So whatever the case beware of it.
Indeed, very often someone sends messages on Telegram either in the form of a link in the form of an investment, but I always ignore it, because many events are in the name of whether it's a project or investment by exchanging via links. So I think what happened to you is a scam, moreover you have to synchronize your wallet so please always be alert and be careful if anyone exchanges messages on behalf of pancakes, you have to find out first to make sure it's true or not.
160  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why is no one worried about this on: August 20, 2022, 10:56:43 AM
With rumors like this, everyone who holds Bitcoin will certainly feel panicked, but I believe 2 billion BTC will not be possible for them to just sell, because he will think that holding BTC will be better than throwing it away. So for all those who hold BTC, don't worry too much about rumors like this, because from the past until now Bitcoin has always been a lot of FUD from various news circulating everywhere but all FUD is not a problem for Bitcoin to stay alive and develop in the future.
