141  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do women engage in crypto trading on: April 17, 2023, 01:31:58 AM
Women are not lagging behind now, along with men, women have many updates in the trading sector they are also in the stock market and other trading sectors.Although women are very less in the training sector but they are getting involved in crypto trading day by day. Many female friends I know are involved in trading. As the awareness of Bitcoin has spread widely around the world, women are also becoming interested in learning about Bitcoin, especially college and varsity girls. And they are sharing their experience with others. But not all countries are equal, countries that are more developed and modern have more women in the training sector.
The world today is no longer the one before where only men will work and the women will only sit down to eat.
Men who have vision for the women teach them how to invest in Bitcoin, and they both involved themselves in crypto, the man teaches her how to trade and they both work to get the money. This concept of women becoming active in the crypto market is even more interesting, considering the fact that they can also make money and become even more wealthy than the men.

If I'm to choose a wife to marry,or I'm to choose a career for my woman,in as much as I am involved in the crypto trading,I will definitely introduce it to my woman,so she can also know how to make money, how to invest, how to buy coins and how everything is done in the crypto space. It is very good when women also get themselves involved in it.
Well, I know a few ladies who are interested in crypto. We all understand why there are mostly few women that are interested in this industry. Firstly, due to high risks in terms of volatility alone, women want to choose safer investment programs if they are given a chance. Second is that, we all know that women also don't love to gamble much, if there are women who wants to gamble there are only few of them.

I have to agree that it is always better to let your partner know what you are doing specially in terms of finance coz mostly husband and wives are always fighting and the main reason is about money. It is also much better to tell them earlier not only for your wife's investment but also for them to be aware where the money goes just in any case.
142  Local / Pilipinas / Re: GHOST COMMERCE on: April 16, 2023, 11:58:29 PM

Sa pag usbong ng internet sa ating bansa, dumarami na rin ang mayroon ng mga gadget kagaya ng cellphone at iba pa, marami din ang nangangamba sa kanilang seguridad at gusto nilang itago ang kanilang pagkakakilanlan, kaya isa ito sa pamamaraan ng mga mamimili upang maiwasan ang pasisiyasat ng gobyerno at malalaking korporasyon. Iilang lang ito sa benepisyong makukuha sa Ghost Commerce, subalit kung may benepisyo man, meron din itong mga panganib kagaya ng mga sumusunod;

* kakulangan sa tiwala ng nagbebenta/mamimili
* makabili ng mga depektibo at pekeng mga produkto
* kakulangan ng warranty
* potensyal na maparusahan sa pakikilahok sa mga ilegal na transaksyon

143  Economy / Economics / Re: using credit card on: April 16, 2023, 11:17:38 PM
the lesson that i learned here is that credit cards can be a valuable tool for building credit points/scores and making purchases, but they should be used responsibly and with caution. it is important to keep track of your spending(like keeping a journal), pay off the balance in full, each month if possible, and avoid carrying a balance that will increase interest over time. by being mindful of your credit card usage, you can avoid debt and maintain your financial health.

i am weak at economy, is it wise decision to use a credit card?
I don't like buying things on credit so I have always avoided applying for credit cards. If you want to live a financially free life, you should avoid debt. The scariest part of these credit facilities is the interests. I don't want to be indebted at an old age that will make me keep working till death. I think I should have the opportunity to retire peacefully and debt free after my children have left home. That is why I only buy what I need and not what I want so that I can stay debt free and have extra money to invest
.
It's not bad to have credit cards but you should have the ability to control your expenses. Credit cards could be helpful especially if you have spent part or all of your income on investment or something important. You need it to keep life going. But it shouldn't be used to buy things that are not basic.
Same here, using credit card cannot be called independent since there will be time where you will be too dependent on that card even if you didn't have much money. I have once avail a credit card before but didn't use it too much and decided to stop coz it felt like I am trap inside a deep pit of debts.
144  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is money ruling the world? on: April 14, 2023, 02:08:27 PM
When you have a lot of money, people suddenly come to you to say they are your true friends. And we also know that with more money you can get and buy everything you want no matter how expensive it is.

I don't know the situation of the country you are in, but from what I can see based on your story, your situation there is very difficult, right? But as others say, when you have a lot of money, it will give you power, but even so, we should be the ones who control the money and not the money that controls us because usually at the end when it controls us, it will also bring us down. us in the end.
Money gives us additional freedom and choices. Usually if you don't have money the tendency is, there will be a lot of things you wanted to buy, but once you have have the money, you will get mental blocked. I don't know about you guys, but whenever I have money I usually think that I needed to decide carefully what I will buy since I know that the money that comes to me is not always and sometimes it is inconsistent, and that's the reason why I always prioritize the needs even if it means I will have no money left after purchasing the needed things.

Money is just a tool that's a fact, and I've seen so many acquaintances of mine who changed their behaviour because of money, but I didn't mind all that since it's none of my business as long as they won't interfere with me or my life i'll just ignore those.
145  Other / Meta / Re: Please give me another chance . [after 5 years] on: April 14, 2023, 09:51:24 AM

What I really think is that over the past five years you have failed to promote a new account due to the difficulty of doing so. So I thought maybe you can recover the banned account.

I did not created any other account because its against the rules. i just need that account back because at that time i was healthy and young
Now i have cancer , that account is something special that remembers me the good days
Leaving the account for five years before appealing your ban makes this appeal a little complicated because it can be assumed that the account is not important to you. I also checked the reason why you were banned and you were involved in more than one case of plagiarism. But I encourage you not to lose hope.

I am pained to hear that you a presently battling cancer. Sickness can be frustrating and painful and at this time you need those things that give you good memories and joy around you. I have not seen any case where a ban was lifted due to health issues but nothing is impossible. It might also be difficult to ascertain the authenticity of your health claim but keep on pushing. I pray you to get your health back and if possible your account. Get well soon.
Same here. I pray that your health will get back to normal. 5 years? That's a lot of time if you think about it. We can see on his records that he is not motivated by money or any personal gains, and I also think this will take time before they reconsider you from using your old account again. You should not lose hope and provide justification as to why you wanted to use your account again, coz I think 5 years is enough already as your punishment. I hope everything's all right for you there.
146  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: IF ONLY EVERYONE CAN EASILY ACCEPT CRYPTO on: April 14, 2023, 08:52:19 AM
High rate of crypto illiteracy still makes me sad.

I made a transaction through my bank, Fortunately the money was'nt received by the suppose receiver and i was debited.
I went to the bank for transfer error issue, spending more than 5hours trying to get access into the bank(due to crowd) and 3hrs trying to fix the transfer error.

My point here is that, if i had sent the money in form of crypto(Bitcoin), my transaction would have run smoothly, the only way i would have had an issue was if i had transfer to the wrong address.

Note: Crypto illiterate as mentioned above is not an insult, they are individuals with low crypto knowledge.

What's your opinion ? .

So have you ever used bitcoin during network congestion, especially if we are in bull season? Bitcoin transaction fees become expensive, and transaction completion can take up to several days. I'm sure many people here have experienced the same thing. I bet you are just trying to say good about bitcoin to gain merit, you have never used bitcoin for a transaction at all. Nothing is perfect, everything has its pros and cons.
I highly agree with this opinion. During bull season or even not, sometimes the network gets congested, just like recently where I won a raffle and the prize was bitcoin, it took me 4 days to receive the price although it is not something to panic or be worried about, if the network gets even more congested after that, for sure I will have to wait for few more days again.

Bitcoin or fiat, has both pros and cons. While some supports bitcoin like a fanatic, we should understand that there are also people who don't. We also have to accept that fact and respect their decision. Personally, it doesn't matter to me which is which, but at least I have options to choose, either crypto or fiat.
147  Local / Pilipinas / Re: GHOST COMMERCE on: April 14, 2023, 07:55:47 AM
Yung buyer, seller at escrow o middleman.

148  Local / Others (Pilipinas) / Re: 🔥 Pilipinas Merit Cafe 🔥 on: April 14, 2023, 07:12:24 AM

149  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Females domination in Bitcoin and cryptocurrencies on: April 14, 2023, 05:05:30 AM
In any case you guys might be wondering why there are only few female in this industry is because, mostly women are unlikely to gamble. In their nature they aren't risk takers or gamblers. We are even worried that due to volatility, anything can happen within a blink of an eye. So how much more in the minds of women? They'll most likely choose a safer path to success, and it takes someone not ordinary to compete in this industry. We have to admit that in terms of multitasking skills, women are number one on that industry, but in terms of finance, Women cannot exert their dominance on that area, they are good companion to have, but in decision making, it is us guys task to handle the matters.
150  Economy / Economics / Re: Why do people stay poor? on: April 14, 2023, 04:23:05 AM
We need to all admit that being poor is a decision because one can be born poor but for him to settle down for it should be his own responsibility which he had failed to work upon in making things change for himself, everyone is striving towards that perfection in everything they do, we need to be very careful with the way we live our lives and how we set our mind or let me say mentality or orientation, this will only perfectly work out as expected if we remained determined for a change.
You are right. and Actually we can start from basic things like from the way we think. to change our lives for the better. then we must always have optimistic thoughts and always think positively. then we can build our mentality to be stronger. so that we don't give up easily when we experience failure. sometimes full of ambition is also needed in an effort to change life. but on condition that we never seize the rights of others. then after our thoughts and mentality become positive then we must work hard consistently. and when we start earning then we need to make a mature financial planning. always thrifty and use money effectively. continue to innovate and work not only relying on strength but also relying on the mind. continue to add insight and skills. and if all that is collected I am quite sure that even a person who is born poor will be able to change his life to a higher level little by little. and maybe he will become a rich man at a certain time. I also discovered the fact that in my hometown people used to live in material shortages (poor). but today almost all of them live in prosperity and are not worried about material shortages.
Being born at the right environment could give you a headstart in life, but it doesn't mean where you started is the same place where it ends. It takes quite a man to reshape his mind and teach himself to be independent. One key thing about being poor is that, you will notice what you needed to do for yourself and how you will improve your living conditions. It's not enough alone to change your mindset, but you also need to focus and take action. Nobody would ever want to be born poor, but you can change that condition if you are ready for the grind.

The hardest thing to accept on being poor is that, one mistake you make, you will have to go back to square one. In reality, if you have already moved forward to success, you cannot afford to fall or make mistakes.
151  Economy / Economics / Re: Why is money ruling the world? on: April 13, 2023, 03:14:38 AM

I think I read it here or on reddit somewhere and I talked about it before. I believe that money is like a key and life is filled with doors, the more money you have, the more doors you can open and if you don't have money then you do not have that many doors and you would live a limited life, if you have a lot then you can open all the doors and can decide how you want to live.

My life is very limited because of money, I need at least another 10-20 thousand dollars to just cover the "dreams" that I have which is very small, like see another nation, get another thing for my house and so forth, but considering the situation we are in, I would say that it is not going to happen, and I started to learn to live with that.
I think that we can find opportunities to achieve what we want when we begin to believe that it is possible. If you believe that you cannot achieve something, then it will become truth for you. I understand that everyone's situations are different and sometimes it seems that changing something is very difficult, but I also believe that in any situation we can find opportunities if we want something very badly. Not everything will work out right away, but we need to take one step at a time, we overestimate our capabilities in the short term and underestimate what we are capable of in the long run.
Believe on something and you'd achieve it eventually. But to think on a more practical way, money is really necessary. Let's day you want to start a business, then a capital must come first. You are hired in a good company, you need money to sustain you with your first month and not to mention your application period and other necessities.Taking one step at a time is indeed right but in every step, unfortunately, money plays a key role nowadays; just think of how expensive living is, today. No matter how we want to set aside monetary factors, it is just the present situation which would tangle money with our lives. This is how powerful these pieces of paper are. If you have the privilege to not stress out about it then that is better but we cannot bend the fact that not all people have that kind of state.
Practically speaking, you cannot suvived nowadays without money. Almost everything requires money, and it is not a lie if you'll say that everything revolves around money. Job applications requires money. You want money but you need money to be able to do so. This is the hard reality that we need to swallow. Opportunities are there but without money you cannot move towards that opportunity. This is why most entrepreneurs would choose more money so they can have more influence than the others. Some may not even think that the money they spend to apply a job is just self capital and it is not counted in terms of finance, but is this how you really calculate your finance?
152  Local / Pamilihan / Re: Mayroon kayang interesado dito sa FREE giveaway? on: April 12, 2023, 01:20:37 PM
Cheesy
153  Economy / Economics / Re: Could there be a new financial system not dependent on USD? on: April 12, 2023, 12:02:30 PM
In my opinion, new financial system without dependent on USD is very possible, as long the countries who involved with is agree. In fact creating new money is possible too as long as the community is agree.

A little bit out of topic I want to add some other news too

French president says Europe should limit dependence on US - https://www.aa.com.tr/en/europe/french-president-says-europe-should-limit-dependence-on-us-for-security/2769816

China - Saudi Arabia summit agreements put pressure on US influence - https://www.vox.com/2022/12/10/23502903/china-saudi-arabia-united-states-relations-strain

Yes exactly. As long as there is a mutual agreement between everyone, it is not impossible to even create new currency to be used or change the financial system in which it won't be dependent on USD. In regards to changinf currencies, we are all aware that there have been mamy issues involved with USD even from before, and there are so many countries who are already waiting to be next reserved currency.

The currency alone is easy, but the agreement is the one that seems possible. We know that before it reaches some sort of agreement, there're various procedures to follow and it is also possible that there will be debates and arguments to follow.
154  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: we don't have proper education on bitcoin. on: April 12, 2023, 10:57:43 AM
I think that it depends on every country's economic status, since average to poor countries are having a hard time to access great technologies, while rich countries can easily access great technology and mostly when it comes to development, they are always the first to have them. It is not that everyone is not knowledgeable or learning in purpose, but it depends on how they manage their resources around. If they have a choice of course they will choose to learn more to earn more. That aside, they can also have access to great facilities not only in technology but also in health care services and opportunities.
155  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Giving out to promote Bitcoin on: April 12, 2023, 07:57:02 AM
That is a good way to spread awareness on bitcoin and to teach the younger generations how to be responsible. I know that in every good action, there is also a corresponding opposite effect, but hopefully what you taught them won't go to waste. Also, you should have told them to treat bitcoin like a normal currency, coz the tendency mostly is that they will think of it as a collectible, and maybe they will resort to saving it. We know it's not bad if it is treated as a saving but most of the time, they will forget that they can try to earn bitcoin in every bitcoin paid jobs. Some people I've met few years ago think that way and some of them sold their properties just to buy bitcoin which is not advisable in every angle you see.
156  Other / Meta / Re: Making new messages more obvious (SMF patch) on: April 12, 2023, 06:43:01 AM
The older patch won't let you see immediately if you have newly received message. Your suggestion will help lots of members here to see easily the messages. One more thing I have problems regarding this message thing, if possible, I would also like if the messages you received would be sorted out by date and time since I have problems looking to almost all the messages and scrolling everything just to look for that new message like when I messaged @Joeperry regarding the raffle coz it takes some time to see it, also sometimes it is not automatically sorted out, and if possible there should be spam or junk folders for those message and notifications for example when a post or thread got deleted.
157  Economy / Economics / Re: How do you survived during covid19 ? on: April 12, 2023, 06:18:30 AM
I cant really say that I have to survive during covid19, because all I had were minor inconveniences in my daily routine. The major inconvenience that I have faces were queues. Queues and wasting time. I did not mind wearing mask in public places. I did not mind washing hands all the time and using sanitizers. In fact I even likes that. That has limited the number of days with cough and running nose.

Right now I wonder where all that virus has gone? Where are antivaxers? Do I have to make another vaccine shots to be protected, or that several years vaccines turns out to be endless?
We have same question, and it doesn't seem like the whole government care anymore, I also don't know if it's true that there will be a mutated strand if we are not careful since I am also not an expert in terms of virus and even medicine.

The major inconvenience we have here is about food and support, yes, the government provides food for every registered citizen on the specific area, but it's not enough to sustain for about 2 weeks. Now the funny part is that, since most major companies have closed down, so many people become jobless in a blink of an eye. People have to seek for their own leisure and entertainment just to forget how helpless they are and to pass time. A lot of people suffered not only financially but also mentally, physically and educationally. I even forgot how the heck did I even survived that time and I no longer wished to be back to those times again, specifically I am not that affected since I was able to adapt easily, the only thing that is very annoying is when you somehow get sick for no reason, you'll immediately be considered positive. Another thing is that it is like a ghost town wherever you go, if you want to buy your needs, you couldn't do it easily or there is no stock on that specific item you need, while cops and government officials are roaming everywhere to catch all those violators as if they are worst criminals, while they themselves are already positive and just keeping it silent not until all of their colleagues got sick.
158  Economy / Economics / Re: Saving is Wasting? on: April 12, 2023, 04:33:45 AM
Saving is very important to everyone, why? Because it will help us in times of crisis or for the future. There are many ways to save. Some save through the bank, some also save in their own way such as piggy bank, vault and through investment. If saving through investment is chosen, it is uncertain or high risk so it is better to invest if there is excess income or what can be accepted in case of loss. If I am asked, it is better to keep cryptocurrencies that are stable like Bitcoin, there are also stakings or holding with interest that are offered by cryptocurrency exchanger but its a high risk.
As how the world works nowadays, there are so many options for you to choose from when it comes to savings, that is also my reason why I hesitate sometimes whether I'll save or invest since there are instances that today I have spare money, but who knows what will happen tomorrow or the day after tomorrow, and since there are also things I need to consider like education and other miscellaneous fees. At an early age I was already aware that I needed to make extra effort to escape our poor environment, aside from that I am aware how banks and investment work, but I also have to consider that one mistake will destroy everything I've worked so far and I'll immediately go back to square one. So I am really careful in terms of decisions in my life involving finance.

It is great to see that the local boards of the Philippines are active in terms of merit ratio. That only means my efforts was effective though I am short in sMerits now hahahaha, but I am just glad that it was shown on the statistics board. That was really our plan to generate our own merit cycle so we didn't have to worry seeing our stats at the bottom of the ladder besides that, it is also to help our fellow citizens move up their ranks and help them improve their post quality to be given merit.
