141  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] AEON [2017-09-30: update to 0.9.13.0] on: October 01, 2017, 02:01:47 PM
I compiled 0.9.13 following exactly my own guide AND against Boost 1_63_0 .
All is working smoothly.

Now some question to the devs, just to be up to date: why did Bittrex lock Aeon wallet?
What is the current roadmap for Aeon?

TIA

Thanks for this information.
But I have two problems. After the win64 exe files were generated, the v0.9.13.0 aeond.exe cannot open the block chain data synced by v0.9.12.0, and the v0.9.13.0 simplewallet.exe cannot open the old wallet. How can I transfer the money out ?

By the way, I have tried to transfer aeons from v0.9.12.0 wallet to hitbtc exchange, but the hash cannot be found in minergate blockchain info. What's happened?

This is a question to be asked to the devs.

no problem at first sight with windows compilation. the usual instructions are ok.
Code:
git clone https://github.com/aeonix/aeon.git aeon-0.9.13.0
cd aeon-0.9.13.0
mkdir build
cd build
cmake -G "Visual Studio 14 2015 Win64" -DBOOST_ROOT=c:/local/boost_1_64_0 ..
msbuild Project.sln /p:Configuration=Release /m
tested with: gitshell, boost 1.64 static, python 3.5, cmake 3.8.0, microsoft visual studio 2015 rtm

Daberti's guide is still relevant and useful : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=641696.msg18754693#msg18754693

Still here I’m 😊👌🏻

Where to buy DagCoin from? Sad

At the moment it is sold on the internal exchange. Should be up soon on some major exchange aswell.

Thanks. Until that time I'll stay off.

Suse leap 42.3  64bit.

Thanks Smiley

A quick test with neoscrypt told me that Cuda 8 compiled is 10% faster than Cuda 9 compiled.

True, i test also cuda 9 and it's about 18% slower than cuda 7.5.

On which OS?

there is a cuda-9 branch on github

I mean: I already cloned your 2.2.1 sources and I compiled them against Cuda 8.
I have to keep Cuda 8 in order to compile for my customers with old NVidia GPU which do not have required drivers for Cuda 9.
At the same time I have some Pascal GPUs which I'd like to test against Cuda 9 final.
Solution?
150  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.2.1 - opensource - GPL (tpruvot) on: September 27, 2017, 10:36:11 AM
i may rebuild it with the final cuda 9 (out yesterday)

edit: ok done..

https://developer.nvidia.com/cuda-toolkit/whatsnew

Is Cuda 8 AND Cuda 9 coexistance allowed? If so, how to compile choosing to target one of them?

Miner should tell you in green "Yes". If not, you actually did NOT mine.
May I recommend you to mine Signatum or Denarius? -a skunkash and -a tribus (which has been dramatically optimized in ccminer) respectively

You sure may, but do you think it will be of any good/profitability with such low hashrate? and i have 2 other computers availlable, is it possible to bundle these 3 miners toghetter so they collaborately mine the block toghetter, increasing the total hashrate?

Of course it is!
Please PM to me as this would imply an OT.
Will do some digging on these coins tomorow and i'll get back to you in a pm then, but what is an OT exactly?
Thank you for your help so far!

OT= Out of Topic
Back to scrypt algo: there are ASIC miners for it which make GPU mining out of question
Aha ok, and with these other 2 coins, asic mining is not allowed yet then i assume? around what percentage of the total hashpool should a miner be around to have decent cost to rewards ratio? min 5% or more

You're right in both statements: if reward method is PPLNS you need to hold that percentage at least.

What GPU have you got? What coin are you mining?
GPU: NVIDIA Gforce GT650M, CPU: Intel i7 3630QM @ 2,4Ghz, 8Gb RAM 7,88 availlable, Windows 7
Cryptobridge(BCO) - Scrypt POW https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2015949.0

Is -a scrypt present in your batch?
thanks for your help, i think its finally mining, i am getting 40kHash/sec, i'm thinkin thats not much am i correct? will i be able to mine Cryptobridge with that at current difficulty?
Is there a way to see progress of the mining because the logs only show me the hashrate and gpu temp

Also is there a way to make it possible that 2 miners work toghetter on the same block for increased hashrate or will both miners work on their own on the same block?

I've been running a 5 cards rig with a sempron single core for many months without issues and at max speed (multiple algos and card types).
It depends on the miner and the OS, though.

Which cards? Choose an algo, do benchmark and post the overall speed, without data it is all bullshitting. (my data is posted above)
This is valid for everyone Wink
156  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.2.1 - opensource - GPL (tpruvot) on: September 25, 2017, 10:47:38 AM
try ewbf miner and compare it to others, you should be getting 20-30 sols less then others on same card/settings

Ditto
157  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.2.1 - opensource - GPL (tpruvot) on: September 25, 2017, 09:49:13 AM
I run all G3900 and G3930 with 4GB ram. all 8 card rigs. I do not have issues.

Yet you won't have top performance.
If you lke you can drive a Porsche with city car tires....

Just issue on your system the following command and post the output, please:
ccminer.exe -a neoscrypt --benchmark
158  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Mining (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] ccminer 2.2.1 - opensource - GPL (tpruvot) on: September 25, 2017, 12:24:03 AM
Im runing into an issue with CCminer. This is what happens its not always immediate, but it happens when it's setting the intensity of the GPUS.I am using 70%-90% of the CPU this doesnt seem normal im using 8x 1070s. Any help would be appreciated.
"cc miner has stopped working"

What CPU have you got?

G3900 Skylake Celeron

Try adding -d 0,1
This way you'll limit the usage to only two of your 8 1070s

Now read you CPU  usage.
Your CPU has only two Cores with 1 thread each...thus each thread goes to a GPU=> two max GPUs

so I can only run 2 GPUs? that doesnt sound right.

You can run how many you wish, but with such a CPU don't expect miracles. Anyway do the test with the added option as suggested and please report back CPU usage.

With so many GPU to handle, Xeon CPU and proper OS are called into duty
