Yes, that is correct. It is highly advised to make a new backup after each mandatory update, or each time you create a new receiving address. If you want to further bolster the security of your funds, you can also get the private key for your wallet address. That way, even if you lose the wallet.dat you can import the private key using the debug console and still have access to your funds. It is the same with the private keys though, there will be one key per receiving address. |

I have a issue that need you explain: - On October-10: i have 1000 coins in my wallet -> i backup wallet at this time. - On October-15: i have 2000 coins in my wallet -> but i dont backup - On October-16: i lost my wallet data -> i have to recover my wallet. -> can i recover my wallet on October-10(1000 coins) or October-15 (2000 coins) from backup? As long as all coins are under the same receiving address you initially backed up, you will have access to ALL of your funds. Does that answer your question? |

I think you are referring to TAILS. Tails Official WebsiteI love it, use it fairly often. Might not be very easy to get a DO wallet on there though. |

Is it necessary for funders that being in all 40 airdrops?
My current understanding, is that all airdrop participants will be founding members. With that being said, they could add a cutoff. Example: All airdrop participants by round 15 are considered founding members. That hasn't been specified. What also has been said, is that voting power for vote central would be increased for every airdrop you were a part of. So someone in all 40 Airdrops would have more voting power than someone who joined week 12. Does that answer your question? That's cool. Will every holder of DeepOnion be eligible to vote or will only the founding members? Also, I noticed on the homepage that DeepOnion is sometimes spelled Deep Onion. Which is the official way to spell it? it would probably just be the founding members. Does that make sense? DeepOnion is the official way I think  |

Ok I think I may have done something wrong. I signed up for the airdrop yesterday, downloaded the wallet am a JR member put my signature in my profile and DO address also on my profile. I checked my status today and it says
We are sorry that your application for DeepOnion airdrop is declined because your account doesn't meet some conditions we required. We thank you for your continuous support of the DeepOnion.
Do I have to sign up again? Or is this message only for the last airdrop? I'm sure I did everything I was supposed to so I'm just a little confused where I might have gone wrong. Thanks for your help!

hey folks - i have tried to install the wallet in win 10 but it is still not working at all ;(( I can't register with the community forum until I have a wallet address either.
I downloaded the zip file from the website but when I click on the .exe file - the onion graphic appears and disappears on my desktop and there are no deeponion processes in my task manager.
Can ANYBODY help me please - this is doing my head in lol

Sounds like your antivirus is catching it and removing it. Double check and see. If it is, make it an exception, and run it again. |

Does anybody know, if I have the right account for airdrop, can I gat coins for all time, or only next airdrops?
You will only receive rewards for future airdrops once you have successfully joined, not any previous ones. Does that answer your question? |

Use case of this project is very deep and is the future of anonymity. the only thing that hurts in the eyes is that why the official account has still red paint. This project has proved to be legit but still it got red paints like a scam project. I think some Member should contact the people who left those feedback and try to convince them.
Having a negative rating or feedback does not mean it's a scam, it has explained by the OP already and I believe in his statement just like others who are believing. If they believe about the feedback then we would not have this achievement that we are the most active thread in this forum and that is because of us who continued to support the project and the team. Negative PR is still PR, we will be just converting it to positive PR. It is our future support. 100% agree man. Nothing can stop the DeepOnion train! |
