Altcoins are very profitable, you just need to pick the right one. You have to buy it at the right time and sell it at the right time. If you keep picking shitcoins then expect that there will be no future from it. About the future of the cryptocurrency. I think there nothing to worry about because maybe the price of every cryptocurrency will rise up in this current year. We all hope that right. Just believe in the dominance of bitcoin. We should believe that it will rise up again reaching $20k in this year. |

While any Altcoin is swayed by the overall market, finding an Altcoin with a large market cap and large trading volume should be a good estimator of stability. For the cheap mid-price Altcoins, something like Ripple is pretty stable. For the even cheaper coins, you can never go wrong with Dogecoin.
Even most of those altcoins with the high marker cap were red for some days together with bitcoin. The goal is to find an altcoin where I can hide my money from those dumps. Ripple performed greate this time but I see no guarantees that this coin will do the same at the next time. Actually there is no stable altcoin. Changing of value is natural in this digital money world. We all know that cryptocurrency is volatile. I think some of cryptos remains at the high price because of their platform or investors. Thats what I think. It is not being pulled also by the dumped of bitcoin. |

Based on the current market, I would prefer to hold Ripple, Cardano and Iota because it's price value is much cheaper than the other altcoins with mostly promising result on the actual current price value. I really believe that these coins may achieve a good promising profit in the future and may absorb more people to invest on these altcoins.
I am holding coins that Ive earned in the ICOs that ive joined in here in the forum. Actually I am waiting only for the exchanger to come out in the market so that if the price is so satisfying for me I am selling it. But if not. I will hold it and wait for the right time. |

Do you know any game which actually uses cryptocurrency? I saw a lot of coins which promise this, but usually It ends up in being scams.
Games are for fun, but It would be more satisfying to have a valuable currency for games.
Cryptokitties, nexium and i heard it has been listed on the steam store. I never heard any other existing platform. In my experience i'm only paying SDK games to tested the blockchain. Honestly to make the crypto will be used in the game looks so difficult because it can be considered as dapps platform. Yes I think there are so many game that using cryptocurrency maybe the game developer of that is also a investor or a buyer here. Because there are also ICOs that using their tokens to buy specific items in their game so that was a really good idea for me. |

There is no tactics to do when market is really falling just like what is happening right now. I only recommend to you that you need to be patient and wait for the right time that the price of any cryptocurrencies at the market will rise up again to its high price not like this. I first know cryptocurrency on the airdrops of stellar (XLM). they are giving huge free money to everyone. then after 2 years of airdrops hunting I discovered this forum that rewards bounty hunter. I'm invested into a few different ICO's. I understand the failure rate of ICO's, but if you do get lucky and hit "virtual gold" you're pretty much set. There's a few different ICO's that I like based on tangible products & projected profitability models for their services. I like ICO's like Swachhcoin because they are actually impacting their target market. A lot of ICO's try to solve problems that...aren't actually problems. There is no need to over-complicate easy processes & try to manufacture something that doesn't need to exist. With Swachhcoin they're actually producing something that's beneficial to the marketplace. We are in dire need of upgrading waste management facilities & this ICO is providing the technology to do it. Decentralizing the process is just an added bonus to the cake.

I've invested in the several icos and they are all giving me back up to 100x from my initial investment. Zilliqa, ONT, OPEN and many more. I think that the result depends on the ico itself. As you can see most of them have small hardcap. It looks so difficult to predict which is the best one right now consider you need a lot of effort to do the more research. I am not investing in an ICO since i started here. I am actually joining particular signature campaign to earn here. Not very difficult but also not so easy because you still need to be responsible espwcially when you are doing tasks weekly that you need to achieve. |

Yes, I am making long term investment. I have held many altcoins since one year now and I have come to experience that it does work all the time. Also we should take note of one important thing here, when we do a long term investment then it could be the case that crypto project may failed in between. So thats upto us how to look forward in this long term type of holding process. But I surely believe in the long term holding only, it can give us more than 5-10x hikes in a year and some coins are literally going 500% or more. We also noted last years bitcoin's hike and other crypto's hike. So for better results always go for this method. Yes ot is a long term investment for me. Just like as of now the token i received in a particular ICO. I am holding it and i am holding it for 4 months and still the price is mot rising up so i think every project need time to go to the moon. Not every project will come to that so fast. They need time also so we need to have patience. |

One of the very main reason that people strongly (apart from the belief that ETH really does good / difference to the world) believe in ETH is because of the various strong backers (Microsoft, banks, etc) which you referred to "strong lobbyist". Then again if you have unlimited amount of investment money means you can fail as many times as you want. Take Uber for an example; Uber is still burning money after years but still there are investors rushing in to throw money even though there might be no sight of profit at all.

Until now I often fail in choosing ICO projects so many opportunities are lost to make a profit. I often experience ICO scam projects. but I still believe in the good ICO, because I've experienced also get big benefits from the ICO. only now I need to be more selective in choosing a promising ICO. i'm sorry to hear that Bro .. but keep spirit !!! Selling up my biggest holding of token got from joining signature bounty campaign. I think I will invest in some BTCs and some altcoins.
And I would choose altcoin, which is open source and updated, because when the bull market arrives, they are more likely to have a big explosion.

One major factor that affects it's price is the regulations that are happening here and there, I think it will crawl back again to the top when these things are finished. Another is it's popularity, one of the reason that surges is it became popular and investors was dragged and decide to buy BTC.
The media is a big impact in Bitcoin's ups and downs, when somebody that is famous and rich made a statement and it's goes public, surely the price will be affected. Somewhat says that media cannot really accept Bitcoin and making a way to pull it down but others are just people who wants stories for their own self interests and hidden agendas. Another is the country banning crytp exchanges, people won't risk being captivated and would just dump resulting to declination of Bitcoin. There are people who believed and still holding Bitcoin believing it will be mainstream.
It is the effect of holding. Actually patience is important to earn what youve expect to earn you just need to wait for a long time for you to achueve your expected income in that particular token because nit every token can rise up in very little and short time. Investors are tired of joining these scam ICO's.
It's the golden age of ICOs last year and most of the projects from that time are successful because of real support to the project. But this year is different, ICOs are being used to make money for it's developers instead of supporting a legit project for development.
Because I think some of it didnt or they cant reach the hard cap or even the soft cap target of their ICO. That a really a bad news if they cant reach the softcap. Because it is their target and if they didnt they will not continue the ICO. |

- People still panic and loose their profits.
- Some panic and loose participating in good projects.
- Some panic is loose their holding.
- Some panic and miss the opportunities in crypto.
If fear does not do any good, why do we then still fear?

I here and see that a lot of people are selling their altcoins for this reason or for that reason. In some cases I here that people are even spending their altcoins to buy Bitcoin. Now that one really has me confused. To me it's way to early to be selling your altcoins. It's like selling an original painting before it even gains in value or while it is still gaining in value. What smart investor does that unless they are selling out of fear or because they are desperate. For me I am holding all of my coins for now because it is way to early to even think about selling your altcoins; what say you?

Not all the altcoins will survive man.You want to hold for long term , just do it . Sell and buy are the must of a normal market. Maybe because theyre afraid to lose all of their money so they are diciding to sell it very quick so that instead of losing all they can earn a little but they didnt know that in every patience there is a good and betrer result so if you wait for the value or the price to rise up again. Long term investments are quite good and helpful if you want it to use in future. In pruorities, I think you should have to prioritize on where you are going to invest your money, have knowledge on investing and in the crypto you are planning to invest.
