BTC0.12 Cheesy

I bid .013 if this is just a typo error

Nop, not a typo. My bid was BTC0.12.
1402  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Damn3d SCAM for PREMIUM Spotify Accounts! BUYERS BEWARE! on: April 17, 2015, 11:06:17 PM
I see OP missed an important step that was clearly mentioned: he had to change the password and he didn't.
Now Damn3d please do respond, why is it required to change the password? Why do several people have access to those credentials? Are you selling stolen/hacked accounts?
1403  Economy / Auctions / Re: 20 LTC & 10 Dash Coin 8 Hour Auction From OP... on: April 17, 2015, 10:17:47 PM

1404  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: [WTB] $30 worth of btc on: April 17, 2015, 09:28:27 PM
I'll pay via paypal.
cant you just do it on any exchange? asking because i never traded on exchange and curious why you want to buy it here

i searched google and almost everyone who sells bitcoin doesn't accept paypal. if you can give me a link on what you're saying, that would be great!

People don't take PayPal here either except from very trusted users. That's because it can be charged back even 6 months after the deal.
Read this: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=14632.0

You should try offering a non-reversible payment method. If you really need to trade PayPal try this site: https://www.virwox.com/ they charge a high fee however.

Also beware of scammers that may contact you offering to sell BTC for PayPal as long as you send first because "you can charge back the payment if they don't send the BTC". That's a known scam. They will keep giving excuses until they withdraw the money so you may not be able to charge back.
1405  Economy / Digital goods / Re: BotWallet.com - Make your offer on: April 17, 2015, 06:22:10 PM

BotWallet.com domain name is for sale.

Make your offer.

Reasonable offer will be accept immediately.

You shouldn't sell your domain here while it's on auction: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1028135.0
What will you do if there are bids already and you get an acceptable offer here below auction's BIN price? The auction doesn't say there's a reserve price.

1407  Other / Off-topic / Re: 10K BTC accidentally lost - may be somebody could help me find them! on: April 17, 2015, 05:03:30 PM
Wow, looks like I found my former customer - https://bitcointalk.org/?topic=137.0

It's so sad I sold my laptop with laszlo's btc to somebody. Life is very strange thing... who knowed, that 10K btc will be ~ 2.5 millions for now(((
I quite dont get the private key thing. You own the private key, but the laptop doesnt have it on it? What do you mean he doesnt have the private key? If your wallet is installed on the laptop there will be a private key there.
And also, if you want to access a wallet you only need to import private key, not both private + public
You dont even have basic bitcoin knowledge and own 10k btc?!

Obviously, this is the longest troll I have read from a newbie Wink

OP is obviously trolling, or wants to grab some donations. Regarding the private key thing I'm pretty sure he means the wallet.dat is in the laptop but it's encrypted. So OP has the password and the person who bought the laptop could have the encrypted wallet.dat.
1408  Other / Meta / Re: Where can I find todays new accounts? So I can ignore them on: April 17, 2015, 04:34:23 PM
Since many new accounts are created each day to spew nonsense that I have no time for, I would like to just start ignoring them as they are created. I see no need to sift through obvious troll rubbish, scam loan requests, and the like. If we are not going to require nubie jail, then I am just going to ignore all new users who start off junking up the forums.

So is there a way to see all the new accounts created?

That doesn't seem like a good idea to me. While several new users are shill accounts, there are legit new users too trying to learn more about bitcoin. Welcoming and helping them can make a big difference.
Anyway you can check the 'Members' link and order them by registration date:

1409  Other / Meta / Re: girlbtc.com to Xetsr (about negs) on: April 17, 2015, 05:00:22 AM
any delay of valid withdrawal from now , we will pay 5% per hour. so if you delay for 2 hours ,you get 110%. 3 hours 115% etc.
It would be great if the scam accusation against you really works and makes you stop acting dishonestly. Too bad you didn't apply this policy from the beginning.
1410  Other / Meta / Re: girlbtc.com to Xetsr (about negs) on: April 17, 2015, 04:54:22 AM
Continue to pay and run the site without problems and I'll eventually remove it.

You had plenty of time to pay but didn't until a scam accusation thread was created and you received negative feedback. Those are not good signs and other members here should be aware of this.

I don't think you should ever remove your feedback. I find it absolutely accurate. OP held the coins completely willingly so he deserves that negative rating. He can't justify it for his lack of experience. Anyone can know that holding money or goods he doesn't own is just wrong.

If he runs the site honestly for a long time he will get positive feedback and he could eventually get a total positive (i.e. green) trust but the fact he didn't act honestly this time would still remain.
1411  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: 56xBTC, get 56 time the bitcoin you invest on: April 17, 2015, 03:02:51 AM
This is not a scam, it is completly legitamite. Try it, prove yourself right, you will find the opposite outcome though.

This is a Ponzi and no Ponzi can work paying out 5600%. Besides you're hiding the fact it is a Ponzi. Therefore of course it's a scam and of course you will keep asking people to "try" it even with a small amount because every deposit made to you means 100% profit to you because you're not sending anything back.
Fortunately I really doubt anyone will fall in this scam. You're just wasting your time.
1412  Other / Off-topic / Re: [ADVICE] - LASIK eye surgery on: April 17, 2015, 02:37:24 AM
I got this surgery 3 months ago and i couldn't be happier Cheesy I'm seeing much better now without glasses than before with them. Just a few advices:
- Go eject only if you're above 30 and haven't changed the correction value of your glasses in at least one year, otherwise you may need prescription glasses again very soon.
- If the doctor says "don't blink" while on surgery then don't! Bad things can happen if you don't follow his instructions.
- Follow the after-surgery instructions and don't worry if you don't see perfectly or if you see rings the first few weeks or up to 3 months. Things get better after the eyes fully recover Smiley

Good luck!
1413  Economy / Investor-based games / Re: All sites from this section are SCAM on: April 17, 2015, 02:28:15 AM
The fact that you think these sites are true ponzis shows how ignorant you are. Like the description says, they are "investor based games that require new entries to pay out the old entries." it's nothing more than gambling. I do agree that SOME are scams because they run, but any gambling site can do the same.

Sticky the thread that rates these sites, that would be useful.

Wikipedia says:
Quote
A Ponzi scheme is a fraudulent investment operation where the operator, an individual or organization, pays returns to its investors from new capital paid to the operators by new investors

So you're confirming they're Ponzi, right?

Close but not correct, a real ponzi is done without the investors knowledge.  These sites show you the rules up front.  You are simply trying to get in first so the subsequent entries pay you out.  Every gambling method has winners and losers.

Every single site that pays investors with the money of new investors (instead of money it produces) is a Ponzi. Check the Wikipedia link I posted and the image of OP if you're still not clear on that.

However Ponzi is not always the same as scam. I think that's what you mean here. If a site is transparent, shows a warning saying it's a Ponzi and a list of transactions so users can estimate how things are going then I don't think it's a scam, it's a high risk game. But it's still a Ponzi of course and everyone in this section must be aware of that and make well informed decisions.

If a Ponzi hides the fact it's a Ponzi then it's definitely a scam. Also the problem in this section is that even when a Ponzi is advertised as a Ponzi it is handled by untrusted users who can run with the money at any time.

1419  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: settxfee has no effect on json rpc on: April 16, 2015, 05:15:05 PM
Hi,

i want to send bitcoin to more than one address, i want to use minimum free for transaction and im using settxfee but it is has no effect.

Code :

$wallet->settxfee((double)0.00001000);
$wallet->sendmany("", $params);

What is the problem ?

Note : I can send bitcoin to all addresses but the fee is too high

AFAIK that command doesn't have any effect for low priority transactions when setting that fee could prevent the TX from being confirmed.
Anyway you can try adding "paytxfee=0.00001000" to your bitcoin.conf.

Reading this will help you:

Check my thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1001457.0

I can offer $183.20 for 0.7643 BTC (that's 4% above market price in your favor).
It takes about 24hours and up to 48h to appear in your account and the risk of charge back is removed.
You'd need to send first or we can use a trusted escrow.

FYI nobody will agree to deal with you without using escrow. So even if you reject my offer confirm you're willing to use a trusted member here as escrow.
