If you believe (after verifying the accuracy of the feedback) that some of it deserves to stay, you can add a negative of your own.
I'd say more than half of these feedbacks shouldn't exist in their current form, and less than half of them deserve repeating.
Now I understand, there's nothing wrong for any users to give more negative feedback to scammer or user who has a risk to lost money, so it would prevent from this case where the account only got 1 negative feedback from DT member. I think at least 5 negative feedbacks seems to be enough. |

Trust list
You should add users who left accurate feedback and have good Trust lists to your Trust list, and you should exclude users who leave inaccurate feedback.
This means your Trust list should be based on how you value the users' judgement on others, and it should not be based on whether or not you Trust those users (with money) or traded with them.
Based on my understanding, I think it doesn't wrong to include a scammer or account received a lot negative feedback in trust list as long as they leave appropriate feedback, right? But why many users are removing yogg from their trust list and some of them are put yogg in their distrust list ? BPIP. It's make yogg's feedback now show as untrusted feedback and users who got negative feedback from yogg already clean now. The good thing those accounts already got banned or inactive, but what if they're active in the future and scam other user? did we need to evaluate each of yogg's feedback? but the problem is usually the reference he used is using his own local language and some of them without any reference. If you think yogg's scam effected people need this awareness then what about those who were scammed by many others? It's not proven, I mean we can not verify but what about julerz12, he seems to be a victim too. Don't you think he needs some support from all of us?

I think everyone is missed with yogg alt account yogg_alt since no one have left negative feedback yet except me. His last active was January 15, 2023, 05:09:10 AM, it means he's really aware and keep watching this mess for sure, I don't see any chance he will resolve this case since he's not making any reply. |

Crypto aka shitcoins should be banned, Bitcoin must not. This depends a little bit if all words are independent. If yes the will be 24! = 620.448.401.733.239.439.360.000 permutations of the words. Assuming that you computer can check 1 billion permutations per second (which is is way too optimistic as this would assume that a signature / public key could be computed within one clock cycle which he can't) this would mean that your computer still would need 620.448.401.733.239 seconds which is 19674289 (19.6 million) years as the absolut minor / lower bound. This estimation however does not take into account technological breakthroughs in computing hardware which could very well happen in that time frame (: |

I think trying to accept Bitcoin in business is not as easy as we imagine,
almost everyone seems to still use fiat as a means of payment,
for now people use Bitcoin only as an investment or trade.
It depends If you live in where Bitcoin accepted as legal tender, you can just show your wallet address's QR code and there's no need to make any report. But if you're live in where Bitcoin isn't become legal tender, your business are big and need to follow regulations on your country e.g. accounting laws, tax etc, you need to spend more time to adjust that and of course it's hard. |

I will tell you a truth 1. Most of Bitcoin holders doesn't run full node because only less people are really care with their privacy. 2. You sound like many exchanges are still not support lightning network, while the fact there's a lot exchanges already support it! [1] I have no idea why there's an exchange still not update with LN after 4 years. 3. Using LN is really easy, you just need to take few steps more and it doesn't take you for 1 hour to understand it! [2]

I never understood why signatures don't appear in Serious Discussion board. Like, is it because it attracts spam? By that reasoning, should signatures be disabled on the entire forum? Are the rest of the discussions not considered serious?
Its a good compromise and an alternative to banning signatures altogether. I believe this trend is due to a couple of reasons. Nobody wants to hear about the first reason, so let's just talk about the second, which is signature campaigns have steadily diminished the quality of discussion on the forum for years. They encourage people to post for no reason other than to get paid, which leads to a lot of inconsequential jabber that quickly buries actual substance. Those casually visiting the forum have no motivation to wade through it for the occasionally interesting tidbits. Thus, a lot of former visitors have stopped coming here altogether. You need to look it in the bigger picture, I can say if the forum disabling the signatures in every boards, it will be the end of this forum. It's not surprising if there's an user become active in this forum because of signature campaign and they need to maintain their quality post to able stay in their campaign. This will encourage them to improve their quality post, increase the merit flow, increase the discussion, using feedback and flag correctly and trying to not break the forum rules. Because they're don't want to get red tagged, their account will become worthless. Can you imagine if the forum ban the whole signatures? any user doesn't care anymore with appropriate use of feedback, flag and trust, they will trolling in this forum since they have nothing to lose. I wouldn't be surprised if many accounts will get red painted due to personal problem or something like that. I don't see any problem if there's a user only have purpose to earn money in this forum, I believe they're came from poor country and they need to feed their family. At least this forum is an angel for them and it's good since this forum is really important for them. This forum already offer a good feature, let me show it: 1. You don't want to see an user wear avatar and signature? click Profile - Look and Layout Preferences - Don't show users' avatars. and Don't show users' signatures. 2. You see an off topic and low quality post? report the post to the moderators. 3. The moderators didn't take any action with your report? click ignore on that's annoying user. |
