1421  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What is the best opportunity to harvest your hodl results? on: July 03, 2023, 11:50:52 AM
When you set out to make an investment you definitely have the target you aiming to reach, this is not questionable, personally I started with a target but along the line the target increased then finally I just choose to be a Bitcoin enthusiast and it's always worked for me.
In the cryptocurrency market many times we don't get away with our plans exactly as planned while investing. While we have made our investment plans and target on thia side the market on the other side is giving us a different plan ofnits own. So it's all left to you the investor to know the right moment that turns out to be profitable to you based on your follow up analysis to consider when to exit the market with whatever profit that meets your plan or close to your target.
1422  Economy / Speculation / Re: Can Bitcoin be trusted? on: July 02, 2023, 09:02:03 PM
A friend of mine came to me and we were having a conversation and I was trying to introduce he to the forum, but he turns out that I was asked if I really trust and believe in bitcoin it will never crash like other cypto industry.

I want know if it will not crash and I need help to convince him about it that it will not crash because am a beginner and I haven't know much about bitcoin so I guess been here I will fine help to assist my friend to join the forum.
We don't know for sure when such could happen that's if it's gonna ever happen even though we understand bitcoin isn't impregnable it has faced and survived different attacks and there may be more others in the future which we can't tell for sure how's gonna play out.

But generally if we're to compare bitcoin with all other alts, bitcoin is way sured and with a better longer future than any digital currency you can compare with at this time. What you should be concerned about  is not when or if it going to crash very soon or not but rather focus on making the best out of the currency while it exists.
1423  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread 2023/2024 on: July 02, 2023, 01:47:19 PM
Manchester City have strengthened their team by signing midfielder Kovacic from Chelsea. The player has a 29 million euros transfer fee and his market value is 38 million euros.
Kovacic managed to play 37 games for Chelsea last season, scoring 2 goals and 2 assists in total.
I think they bought him to replace Ilkay Gundogan because Ilkay left City and transferred to Barcelona.Kovacic, who is a younger player, is a better choice than Ilkay in terms of age, but it is not known whether he will be able to adapt to City.

Kovacic is a good football player, but İlkay's contribution to the team was too much. I'm not sure if Kovacic can do that. It's always better to have a younger squad. Every football player who comes to City gets used to it in time, I don't think he will have serious problems in this regard. Looking at the long-term, I see that they made a logical transfer Smiley
Chelsea would be making a mistake should they not sign a better replacement for Kovacic a midfielder with great interceptions and known for his penetrative passes, no doubt the young star is going to shine at City with his experience in the EPL in the past few years under CFC.  Gardiola knows this better than anyone else and that's why he had to sign the CM as a replacement for Gundogan next season.
1424  Economy / Gambling / Re: Top 5 Advantages of Bitcoin Casinos vs. Traditional Casinos on: July 02, 2023, 07:43:49 AM
we must make sure that anytime we are doing is to our own advantage as a gambler. We don't need to stress ourselves to bet and make money now since many of the activities we need to take now is online. Once we have internet connection, we can be rest assured that we cam access any gambling platform of our choice and make bet with any amount that we have to bet with.
That is if a person knows he does not need to gamble so often and keeps himself busy with other activities. But if he is still curious about gambling, he will not do anything else but will instead use other money to gamble.

But we know that traditional and online casinos have advantages and disadvantages, and we cannot say that online casinos, especially crypto, are the best because those using fiat casinos would probably say otherwise. So the advantages and disadvantages of online and offline casinos will not be noticed by gamblers because gamblers know which one they can choose.
One of the advantages of using an online casino which I feel may not be of significant to many other person's opinion is that fact that the knowledge of you being a gambler is easily concealed among the public where you live. Unlike using the normal traditional casinos where eyes would at different times sight you walking in and out of a physical casino, it is not so with the online where you can sit at your couch and gamble.
So for those who wants to keep their gambling lifestyle anonymous the online casino is a good choice to masked in specially for the introverts in society.

1427  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Minimum Age to gamble on: July 01, 2023, 10:02:15 PM

Yes, the gambling sites have our age data through the KYC documents. Do they ever restrict anyone who is underage to not to gamble?
Also, if we find any site allowing minors to gamble, can legal action be taken against them?

The Gen-Z children we have now are so smart that they could use every available means within their reach to bypass KYC requirements through the impersonation of their parents ID and these are online casinos what you give as personal data is what they take in.  These online casinos understand the implications they could face such as legal actions  by allowing minors to gamble using their sites and that's why the introduction of the KYC.

A more proactive and advance method of the KYC system I think online casinos should add to their requirements should be a selfie picture or a 3secs vdeo selfie to be added to the customers data as a way to categorically differentiate between adults in gambling and minors posing as adults using their parents or guidance ID for reg of KYC.
1428  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Promoting bitcoin besides the profit making idea. on: July 01, 2023, 02:48:50 PM
To every products and services there's one or two widespread idea about it that is well championed among the public about it. Expect for a few persons in the crowd that have an expansive plethora knowledge of the importance, usages, and benefits that such product holds beyond just what meets the eyes.

so therefore, taking bitcoin into the picture, very much can be achieved beyond the fair idea that the currency is a source of profit making if held for longer period based on an increase in value it holds. just a way to broaden our horizon about bitcoin chiefly for the benefits of we the newbies that actually don't have so much to say about bitcoin finding ourselves in a position or condition that seek our exaltation about the currency beyond just describing it as a store of value if a person could invest and hold for longer term.

So I thought I should raise the question for the benefits of many others like me, perhaps, I don't know if such thread has been made in the past.

what more other convincible informative characteristics and benefits  can you give out to someone who has no idea about bitcoin besides the wide established knowledge that it is a digital currency that should you invest in for long you're going to be profitable or get rich by credit of a bull run?
1429  Economy / Economics / Re: Is it painless to control a multitude??? on: June 30, 2023, 09:49:01 PM
Leadership roles comes with responsibility and the higher the position the higher the responsibility demanded of you. Many leaders we see on TV screens with a decorated smile are passing through some occupied stress that they don't have time for themselves despite the money and power that's involved with such position sometimes they which to be like the ordinary man with a normal daily life.

A former president of Nigeria Dr. Goodluck E. Jonathon while still a president you can clearly see so much of grey hairs all over his head throughout the time of his administration but few months after his administration came to an end and he handed power to his successor, those grey hair on his head disappeared, he now looks younger with extra weight gain. That's to tell us that leading people isn't an easy task especially when you're poised to act as a good and productive leader.
1430  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you find it offensive to be referred to as an addicted gambler? on: June 30, 2023, 09:30:09 PM
Stereotyping me all because am a gambler that's your business and got nothing on me. Better to be a gambler than a serial killer. And for what is worth, calling someone a gambling addict doesn't absolve him from going deeper into the addiction. I know some kind of humans that would wanna deliberately decide to heighten the habit on accounts of people calling them names.

A more better way I think to take such gambling addicts that refuse to accept that they have become addicted away from addiction is to go psychological with them by way of counselling and encouragement giving them reasons to understand and believe that they are better off doing away with such addiction. Calling them names is wrong and its like scolding them, but then how do you scold a grown man and think he would see it as anything to worry about.
1431  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Not your key not your wallet on: June 30, 2023, 05:34:04 PM
Centralized KYC exchanges are like a necessary evil for all traders no matter how was may disdain them due to previous ugly circumstances surrounding their operation and how it has affected their users. That's why it's so important to always give in time to read through the T& C's of any exchange we're to make use of so we can have a good idea of what we're dealing with.

OP failed to complete his KYC and not the fault of the exchange as op knew from the start that KYC is part of the registration process and an allusion that used by Cex to trap their customers money at any opportunity. Let's always do well to do the needed to avoid losing our coins to these avoidable situations not to always transferring the blames to Cex all the time.
1432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Kids and Bitcoin on: June 29, 2023, 08:52:03 PM
Wow there's bitcoin comic books for little children, just knowing about that right now. It's a good idea OP bringing the young to the knowledge of bitcoin though they might not know about the utility in their current stage but it would stand as a building block that would be beneficial to them in the future when they're faced with choosing what cryptocurrency to key into bitcoin would be the first in mind since they have known about it from young.
1433  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Newbies be wary of this website on: June 29, 2023, 04:00:52 PM
They require you to provide money if you’re interested in recovering your Bitcoin back. They make it look like you’re dealing with a real agencies and not some frauds. Don’t be in haste to give them their demands, this is a red flag website that looks so real in their organization and how well they built their website. Newbies should be wary and not to fall in such hands.
These scammer would always device newer different means of scamming the unsuspecting newbies in the the disguise of rendering help. That is why it's recommended for every newbie to get to be knowledgeable about certain things concerning bitcoin so that when you're face with such scam as this you're already equipped with the idea that lost bitcoin are irretrievable so such deals is nothing close to a scam.
1434  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: What steps should I take to succeed here? on: June 29, 2023, 12:36:06 PM
First, take the learning steps about the forum, it's rules and regulations, then about bitcoin as a cryptocurrency. That's how your growth in the forum starts and not Just by the number of merits you start earning or post activities you are able to cover.

1436  Other / Politics & Society / Re: Happy Eid-El-Kabir on: June 28, 2023, 06:51:38 PM
I have a good number of muslin colleagues and friends and we are both accommodating despite our religious difference. Religion shouldn't be the basis for keep someone as a friend cause even in our own religious circle we do have wicked faithfuls.

I have no problem feasting with people of other religions in as much as am comfortable with what they're eating I do partake in, wether am comfortable with it or not it's not in my place to condemn. There are so many other ways of showing felicitations with people people of other religions in their celebrations moments oder than feasting together with them. Sending a good will message is one of such ways too.
1437  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you blame someone for your gambling losses? on: June 28, 2023, 05:20:13 PM
Blaming others is not usually the right attitude to have in gambling or anything else really. Sure, some things might actually be other people’s fault, but by blaming them instead of figuring out how YOU could have had a different outcome will keep you from learning and bettering yourself. Always look at what you could have changed.
Some people are still with baby mindset that they would always wanna find a way to blame people surrounding them for their misfortune as a way to feel alright, as that has been their own way of getting things out of their mind. But that's isn't the  right way to do things as such could create a feeling of guilt among your clique. For the fact that I invited you to tag along with me to the gambling house and you got there with me and decides to gamble and loss doesn't mean I should chest the blame, your indiscipline cost you your loss. I only said escort me bro.

1439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gender in Gambling [differences between Women and Men in Gambling] on: June 27, 2023, 08:10:59 PM
Everyone is free to give his own interpretation on women interaction with gambling but what we will all arrived at is that we cannot compare the rate of women participation to that of men in gambling, maybe we can give some reasons like how women were believed to be weaker vessels unlike men in most cases, their dedication and commitments to the house and the family especially in taking care of the children at home, lastly maybe our women may not have that boldness of taking risk associated to gambling because some depends on their earnings to take care of the family.
A man may see an specific odd and view it as opportunity to double his catch that he sees no issues placing a bet of $1M on the odd meanwhile 9 out of ten women may see that as crazy, having a hundred useful things they can do with such money in their life and that of her children and the whole household .  This and other factors has made the dedication of women in gambling to be very low that it looks as if gambling is a man's thing alone.
1440  Economy / Economics / Re: Look for what to invest, not what to eat on: June 27, 2023, 02:48:38 PM
Investing for the future is absolutely not a bad idea but for a person to have some money to invest then he must have had enough to eat already before thinking if investing. The idea of investment can't make sense or ring a wisdom bell in the ears of an hungry man. So firstly, meeting up the immediate needs is what should be important as it's only wuth a full stomach that investment becomes necessary.
