1421  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] GCCH ICO COIN on: December 15, 2016, 02:43:30 PM
What we have here is a cryptocoin ICO that has come out into the wild to try and get your hard earned funds, what makes it even worse is when the so called "Developer" originates from South Africa gives me the feeling of somebody just wanting easy money after seeing how the most recent scams have grabbed others.

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1606613.0

See who is telling about scam , which have itself created a scam coin , i have given details about your coin which you delevelped and then started the airdrop but did not gave the airdrop coins and when it got listed you started to trade and after some days you came up with story of you hardware gone crash and all shit.

1422  Economy / Currency exchange / Re: Want to Buy $1.50 worth of bitcoin... ill send the $1.50 first. on: December 15, 2016, 01:57:12 PM
So was this deal done successfully?
I would like to know the outcome of this before I deal with the user.
He pm'd me to do a larger deal with him and want to know if everything went ok before agreeing to his deal.
I gave him  my PayPal email and he said he can not send and we did not do anything

http://prntscr.com/djr0lp

You mean to say he did not responded or he did not sent it, which ever so it is clear the the OP is a scammer like above one user claimed him as a paypal scammer

1424  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN] icocoins.com - Initial Coin Offering Listing --alive {free listing} on: December 14, 2016, 04:16:11 PM
pretty annoyed that i can't post as frequently as you are.

have to upgrade my account level  Roll Eyes

hope all fundraisers are willing to list their project on my site.  FREE!

You have to wait for more 14 days to get your rank up then only you can frequently able to post as their are restriction on each rank and only after each 14 days the activity period changes and updates the rank according to the post and activity.

Your project is good but i think their is some more sites and coins which are offering this type of service of offering services to ICO organizers
1425  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: ICOBID - STARTUP BASED ON BLOCKCHAIN - ICO ON - FIRST PRICE 33% BONUS IN 4 DAYS on: December 14, 2016, 04:13:53 PM
Legit coin but poor fund, even scam ico makes more, why?

That is the difference about this coin as this is not a scam coin but real one so they dont have to get wrongly fund but the real users are funded their not like scam ICO gets fund by their own developers showing that they got huge fund for ICO but actually their is only 10% of fund from real users.
1426  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Which Bitcoin Client do you use and why ? on: December 14, 2016, 03:59:48 PM
In bitcoin world i trust only one name that is blockchain. Because it official and no one have hands over my money. But all other third party are not automated and some claim that their system is automated but I think  those are fake. Third party wallets and such service of bitcoin makes me fear of losing money so i am comfortable with blockchain.

Don't just use a wallet if you don't believe in their service, i also like blockchain because it is just like the most trusted one, but i also use Xapo because i like their services and i also trust them somehow because i never heard anything bad about them until now.

What you are saying is about online web wallet but if you are using any desktop wallet you will also be holding the private key of that wallet address with which even if the wallet is lost you can recover it by that private key. So i think other desktop wallet are also good , i am using electrum and till now i dont faced any problem
1427  Economy / Marketplace / Re: Where would you invest if you had 40$/day ? on: December 12, 2016, 04:06:21 PM
Imagine you had a daily income of 40$ each day in bitcoin, what would do with them and where would you invest them ?

Bitcoin itself is a big investment then why should i go for other way of investing , instead of that i will start my own lending bitcoin business through which i can earn 10% on the loan with collateral and be happy with it.

1429  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: [ANN][FAME][LAUNCHED]famecoin - viral photo sharing on Blockchain with tippings. on: December 12, 2016, 03:24:04 PM
I receive all my bounty,thanks

What is the use of the bounty coin or any other means until the coin is not listed in exchange and gets its real value of the project. I am thinking that Developer is not interested in listing the coin to any exchange.

Have u ever heard of the possibility of a future growth? Today u spare dust balls, tomorrow u sell them 10 times higher than what u paid for them yesterday. This is the way profit taking does happen. There's a gorgeous book by a diseased carpenter-trader, named "Ramifications of Appeal to the Future".

I don't mind future growth but for now main concern of all participant is when will come this coin to exchange and in some point in start it was said that price would be 200-300 satoshi not 50 as in famecoin page that is main concern of all who participate in this project (signature, avatar, twitter, translate, article..)

Why the price got decreased when the said price was 200 - 300 satoshi per fame coin but it went to down 50 satoshi per fame coin, do it means that the project is not that much worthy.

And from yesterday i am facing problem in stacking the wallet and the wallet is getting hanged and it is not syncing properly

From what I saw, it started at 800 sat, then to 300 but after the ICO, the math came out to 50.  So at best, the deflation already happened when people bought in.  The app will be at its merit rather than speculation.
The wallet does look like it hangs... Windows gives you a spinning wheel of death while it loads.  Certainly room for improvement but if you look at your %appdata%/famecoin/debug.log periodically, you will see its moving along just fine.  I reload mine weekly to keep it fresh for staking and it takes about six hours.
It went to 50 because psychoticboy wants to buy at ICO price(which is 50 sat) but most of the sellers here want to sell their famecoin for 300sat. Even I was offering the same value(300sat) for selling my famecoin but seems like the demand is not that high.

No of course the demand is not high at the moment, it's not on a exchange yet and the viral photo sharing app which is the main thing for this coin to get value at first is not launched yet. The price of the coin will be determined on how successful that app is.

Everyone selling there fame already :/ I guess at least those who sell now wont dump when it hits the exchange.

What you are telling is true that now after some more time until Psychoticboy have bought all dumpers coin then it gets listed in exchange and that time we can see the real value of this coin and in the mean time if the app gets launched and it gets success then it will a huge boost for the coin to reach moon.

The price is too low if you can give $3 for 2 thread and 9 post then i can do this for you, but in this you have to first send the bounty or use escrow so that we both can be safely do the transaction
1432  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: When did you begin using Bitcoin? on: December 12, 2016, 10:02:40 AM
I was introduced to Bitcoin long before like around 2012 - 2013 but then i did not noticed seriously and left it until in 2014 3rd quarter i was in trouble due to financial problem that time i full fledge started to use Bitcoin from faucet and purchased some and played gambling and earned, then one of my friend told me about this forum and then my daily earning journey started and now i am full fledged doing my work in bitcoin industry.
1433  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin has no competition on: December 12, 2016, 09:19:48 AM
yess u are right  bitcoin has no competition at all. people will slowly adopt bitcoins because it is the first of its kind and can earn a lot with it no matter how good the other alternate bitcoins may be no body can give a tough competition to bitcoins .it rules the world.
It's not rules of the world. bitcoin was the first cryptocurrency ever made and that's it what make bitcoin is the most popular amongst other cryptocoins. bitcoin will eventually have competition but maybe with another kind of digital currencies and not the cryptocurrencies ones. it's just matter about the time until someone invent it

I dont think so that anyother digital currencies can takeover bitcoin as Bitcoin technology is not belonged to any one of the developer but it is a open source and anyone can compile and mine and use it. Its a open source without any one controlling it. But other coins which ever is in market is controlled by the developer and it has certain limit.
1434  Economy / Economics / Re: Why the big whales are not cashing out? on: December 11, 2016, 10:59:19 AM
That question has always been intriguing me. Reading about possible control over Bitcoin by the government, I thought about the ways how they could actually do it. One idea that came to my mind was to print enough fiat to buy all bitcoins existing and get done with it for good. But then I recalled about the top Bitcoin holders including Satoshi himself keeping their coins, and it struck me that they might not be selling their stashes just because of this, for the fear that government could easily buy up all bitcoins that are traded and turn into the biggest whale itself.

How likely is that?

Even printing out unlimited sums of fiat will not make it possible to buy all Bitcoins and that is so not because the guys like Satoshi will hold theirs, but because of the exponential rising of the price in a case of massive buying. So trying to buy all the Bitcoins they will do only good for Bitcoin.

I agree. We were witnessing something like that in the December 2013 - February 2014 period. It wasn't one person or several big whales responsible for the rise but rather many newcomers to the Bitcoin world, but the picture we had was very similar to what would happen if a government would try buy all Bitcoins.

They could just go after a few exchanges or dark markets and grab the coins directly, like they did with the Silk Road operation. These actions would cause the price to plunge, and that is the perfect timing to start buying up Bitcoin if they were really into this. The FBI was auctioning the bitcoins they took from Ross Ulbricht, but how can we be sure that these auctions were not Illusory transactions to make us believe that the government is not really interested in taking Bitcoin under control?

What you are also telling is true that when they got bitcoins from silk routes then why they wanted it to auction it when they want to ban bitcoin , they could destroy this bitcoin so that it should not go to market and get circulated but it was just a view to know that how many of them are in bitcoins. If any government wants to control the bitcoin then surely they have to have more then 50% control of the market bitcoins and above that they first should have control over the bitcoin and blockchain technology.
1435  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What wallets do you use and why? on: December 10, 2016, 09:07:23 PM
I would recommend u to mycelium wallet because it is very convinient to use in every way .and the user interferance is very good in every other way .

I haven't used mycellium, I'm already contented with blockchain because I find it more easy to use or else in the future I will try to have some other wallets if I'm not satisfied anymore with blockchain. But as of now, I'm contented to use blockchain. I have used coinbase, but I stopped with it I'm not enjoying its usage that's why I went back to blockchain.
Actually blockchain to me has become a pain since its last upgrade because each time I want to copy address I have to go to manage address and copy the old one, since clicking on receive simply gives a new address each time.

Plus signing message and all has become a issue for me and top of all it asks me to confirm email every hour I login, come on I cannot use it anymore. I am now using poloniex wallet until something good comes.

Why dont you try desktop wallet which is very light weight and simple to use, i am using electrum and its very easy , just have to install the wallet and keep safe the password , so when ever if the wallet is crashed or computer is crashed i just have to install the copy and add my old password and their my old wallet is ready.

Keeping bitcoins in any exchange is not safe as you dont have control on that wallet and if exchange gets hacked or scammed your coins will be lost and you will never ever get it back.

1437  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Alt coins worth buying on: December 09, 2016, 07:58:12 AM
simply do your research and made your personal thought, is the only thing that i have learned
This is simpliest for a beginner but i have some other ways to share that actually i got some  idea what is altcoin need to choose.. coinmarketap is one of the place where you can see all of altcoin in rankings.. most of altcoin that i choose is top 10 or top 20 depends if there is trending coin in top 20.. Those altcoin for me are worth it to buy and sell it in the right time..

The same thing I did here, before buying an altcoins.
I checked in the coinmarketcap which altcoins has a
potential in the market. I buy altcoins which is at lower
price and sell it when I reach the profit what I want.

This option is also good because you can know the worthy of the coin value but if the bitcoin price rises that is the time to buy the good altcoin as the prices will crash like what is happening right now , so it is a good time to buy some altcoins like etc, dash etc one more coin ICN is also worth to buy as in long term it has very good potential to grow

1439  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I bet you have never lost more than this !!! on: December 09, 2016, 05:56:14 AM
I would be happy to hold 1/4 amount of money in Bitcoins how much this player has lost. I am in shocked to see how some people can go this way. This gambler may own much more money still but this is amount which no one can forget or afford to loose easily. It has been reality but he/she surely is crying over his loss being such greedy. It is another example that in gambling nothing is sure.

all of us would be happy if we have quarter amount of btc of what he had lost lol he must be really owning too much amount of money we can see it in his loss Grin i don't what the hell is going to his mind to put a such huge amount of btc to sport betting If I were him I will save those Btc because with the same amount I can already buy my own properties especially a house and even a car Grin

Hahaha , this you are telling because you dont hold that much or 10% of it , but it may be that the loser have more then what he lost and he is having all facilities in life , so this amount of bitcoin lost is just like peanut for him. But i think it may also be the same fake slips also as most of the sports betting bitcoin sites have restriction of betting maximum btc limit and he is betting so high btc. I feel some thing fishy because if the bets would have won him then the site owner will come with terms and conditions of betting maximum limit above.

Australia after winning the Toss and took batting in order to their previous decision won them, but today i think their decision is going wrong, Australia are 114/4 and if this pair stays their till 35 overs then i think the score will be above 250+ which is also good total to defend. on the other hand New Zealand bowlers have performed well and if they are able to restrict Australia below 250 then their winning chances are high
