How many of you actually plan on staying with the ltcgear after you get your payouts? Personally I think I'm done...this communication is just ridiculous.
After i have to pay the "tax" and he starts paying again i see no reason to not stay there , Investing more thats another story. Why would i get rid of them after i just paid for a full year of service. |

"Hosting and power costs are included for one year. After each year, a power/hosting/maintenance has to be payed to maintain ownership for another year. The fee is around 5% – 20% of initial share price and it can be calculated only at the end of the year."
If it was meant that we all must pay a "tax" to renew for another year, Chris should have told us that our November purchases were only good for 1-2 months of mining. It clearly says costs are included for one year. The statement above should be for each person individually. Meaning, "at the end of YOUR year" or after a full year of your ownership of said shares. He didn't say that all shares will be billed a tax at the end of each year regardless of when they were purchased. He said costs are included for one year. No one who is under one year of ownership should be expected to pay a tax. If he worded it wrong, that is his problem. The way he worded the agreement indicates that we each get one year of mining from our purchase before we are expected to pay the maintenance fee.
In addition, he owes everyone payments that were supposed to go out before the end of the year. It would be obscene for him to expect a tax payment before allowing everyone to collect their 2014 earnings.
I was also under the impression that the MODS had no renewal fee can anyone confirm this and if this is still the case. |

Clearly ltcgear is not a scam or he would not be going this far. Sure the business is questionable but he was hacked. Goes to show people abuse nice things. The one cloud miner that has been around for a while and made ROIs always in reach. Then some hackers have to abuse it and essentially try to bankrupt the company by creating all those fake shares. Sigh  Not a scam i dont know yet.ill let u know after ive withdrawn my unknown pending balance. Also if this tax would cost more then the missing payments id be very hessitant. There is No tax on the MODS right ? I don't see why the MODS wouldn't have any... if the others have maintenance fee... It said u would have those forever and the shares had the yearly(read as after one year) renewal on them. |

I thought when i bought the shares it said one YEAR of operation was paid for and After that year i would have to pay to keep the shares.

It certainly said that one year of operation is included. That we write 2015 now is just a bad excuse. If he really asks for this "tax" for all shares regardless of acquisition date, people will not accept this I'm pretty sure. There wont be any "choice" in the matter im sure u will have to pay the tax to either get to your payments or keep your shares or both. I know i wouldnt be Happy about it but if its that or lose all its not much of a choice. I wonder what kind of number it will be.(since it read like one year was included i didnt care much at the time of purchase now im thinking that could be a huge number it said something like less then original purchase price so that could be 6-10 weeks of payment potentially.) Does anyone have a SS of the what it said originally ? Edit: Also i bought some gen2 .. im gonna have to pay the "tax" on those as well that would seem a little , erm unfair?(Not that im agreeing with the other tax this just seems a little wel "bonus" unfair.) |

Has anyone been able to withdraw anything , i hope the percent is his bad english and he means a percentage instead of just 1%.
I doubt anyone would pay the tax without getting their payments.

Without a Massive PR campain this wont go anywhere anymore ,, they just let it die i doubt any of the ICO investors like me still support it or will ever buy another mne. So it will need to be all "new" investors and those are hard to come by in crypto nowadays. Now im having my doubts that any real work has been done on the project at all , a version of the university was shown near christmass to a select few (not me) but without content. If the framework took 3 months+ when we can start expecting some releases near the end of the century. The content is KEY to everything .. most important if no work has been done on this before christmass then i have no idea wtf the devs have been doing all this time ,i expect spending my money. Dont worry , my stream of negative posts will stop now ,, this will be the last im counting it as a loss and moving on. |

The longer it goes, the more dangerous it becomes for the future of LiteCoin! There's going to be thousands and thousands of LTC dumped within a couple of days if the site ever does payout again. It might not recover from that lol
Are you sure? I think most of those who are not interested in litecoin selected BTC as payout. Still the same problem maybe since Chris has to exchange LTC to BTC for these people anyway. Yeah, depends whether he has been selling as he mines or whether he does it all in one go before payouts. I think that procces would be automated , like the ETA. |
