i agree, but i expect a longer downtrend bottoming around august/ september if at all. Last summer i too was trying to sell my radeonz 5xxx. luckily i did not lowered my price enough to sell them for real.
1443  Economy / Speculation / Re: [Bitcoin Future Price Formula] Published by italian Bitcointalk member! on: December 31, 2013, 11:19:09 AM
problem is that the total number of addresses can only go up, and btc price not -unfortunately.
1444  Economy / Service Announcements / Re: Crypto-trade.com : API released! Okpay added! and more on: December 31, 2013, 12:08:52 AM
I'd like to see EGOpay added at least for withdrawals, since lately OKpay seems having problems especially with BTC-related payments.
1445  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Crypto-Trade.com - reliable service? on: December 30, 2013, 11:57:51 PM
i'm using them and keeping up to 10 btc some trading and some invested in securities. I performed a few withdrawals of btc and ltc and they got executed instantly. the site is fast and pleasant and seems quite above the average for everything. For the moment i can't say nothing bad about it.

Dividends will be paid in btc to crypto-trade accounts. The public btc addresses are kept on file as a precaution.

so when the first dividend is expected?
And how's the business going?

1450  Economy / Securities / Re: ASICMINER Speculation Thread on: December 23, 2013, 12:10:13 PM
we are just left with long-term investors / finger-crossers Smiley

...and hodlers.  But if it drops back at the 0.1 IPO price I'd probably buy some moar.
1451  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Fisco / Tasse / Legge sul Bitcoin on: December 22, 2013, 01:37:58 PM

oh: svegliaaa!
1452  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Fisco / Tasse / Legge sul Bitcoin on: December 22, 2013, 12:01:46 AM

1453  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Fisco / Tasse / Legge sul Bitcoin on: December 21, 2013, 10:30:11 PM

1454  Local / Italiano (Italian) / Re: Fisco / Tasse / Legge sul Bitcoin on: December 21, 2013, 06:53:17 PM

1455  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: WARNING Cryptsy exchange is a Scam site on: December 20, 2013, 06:03:35 PM
I put >80% of my coins in cold storage aka paperwallet.

me too, but only with btc. And since i like to play with crypto-crapcoins but unwilling to install a cryptocrapclient for each one, my solution is to spread the risk and the crapcoins among a number of exchanges, which are hopefully unlikely to fail/scam all at the same time.

1460  Other / Off-topic / [WTF!] Toughest encryption cracked by listening to your CPU with a phone on: December 18, 2013, 10:15:21 PM

Security researchers have successfully broken one of the most secure encryption algorithms, 4096-bit RSA, by listening – yes, with a microphone — to a computer as it decrypts some encrypted data. The attack is fairly simple and can be carried out with rudimentary hardware. In this case, the security researchers listen to the high-pitched (10 to 150 KHz) sounds produced by your computer as it decrypts data.  The researchers successfully extracted decryption keys over a distance of four meters (13 feet) with a high-quality parabolic microphone. They also managed to pull of this attack with a smartphone placed 30 centimeters (12 inches) away from the target laptop.”
