So you must forever maintain the ability to counteract aggression with the ability to be aggressive yourself. You are confusing violence with aggression. I'm against aggression, not violence. Aggression is the initiation of violence. I'm against the initiation of violence. I see nothing wrong with responding to aggression with violence. In other words, "he started it!" What do you say to the anarchists who say that the state, by threatening violence everyday, or even carrying it out, feel justified to attack it, even when not for any specific offence? Or those who say something like "the capitalists use violence to force people to work (see, e.g., sweatshops) and to defend against unions (many cases) etc., therefore it is justified to use violence against them, even when their violence was not specifically directed at us personally"? I would say that they are delusional. I acknowledge that there is a distorting influence on the labor market caused by the state. That does not equate to "using violence to force people to work". It makes about as much sense as saying "group X is doing something to group Y that I don't like, but group Y doesn't seem to care about. this gives me justification to use physical violence against group X".

xyz: Hi I would like a loan of XBTC, will repay YBTC. abc: Sure, here's XBTC.
Days later.
abc: Where's my YBTC? xyz: Oh, one sec.
Seconds later...
xyz: Hi, I would like a loan of YBTC, will repay ZBTC. def: Sure, here's YBTC.
A bit later...
xyz: Here's YBTC. abc: Finally. Well, you repaid me regardless. (+1 rep)
Days later:
def: Where's my ZBTC?
...Repeat.

I see on the MoneyPak web site that it costs $4.95 or less. Under what conditions is it less, and by how much? Can you buy them with a credit card?
Cash only. I think there may be a store that offers them at a lower rate, but I could be wrong.

you're only good for making crappy forum posts attacking people Irony? For someone calling others out for making crappy forum posts attacking people, this one sure was filled with vitriol.

Here you go, no charge. <style type="text/css"> *{display: none;} </style> Seriously though, the likely reason that nobody wants to do this for less than a couple thousand Bitcoin is because you don't know what you want, nor do you know what you're doing when it comes to designing a web page. Based on a quick look at the page source, the layout is horrific - deeply nested elements, crazy identifiers like "a-1-1-3-2-3-1-1-2-JSForm". You don't need a "skin" or "faceplate", you need a new web design.

I'd have to see a picture of you with hair to be sure, but I say keep it. I find that the first time you shave, your head looks funny no matter what. Once the tan line goes away, it looks better. Either that, or you just get used to it. If you like the smell/feel of menthol on your skin, check out this stuff. It's the best shaving cream I've ever used. I wish I could also recommend the HeadBlade, but I didn't like it last time I used it. Though I am thinking about getting their newer model...

Yeah, MoneyPak is nice because all you need to transmit is the code. I believe that the limit is $1000 if purchased at WalMart, while it's $500 everywhere else.

Wow. The idea that Gavin created a tonal branch overloaded my brain and made me forget the date.

I think I've finally figured out what's wrong here. It doesn't seem that FatherMcGruder respects property rights. That's quite unfortunate.
Yeah, I don't see how you can respect one kind of property rights ("personal" property), but not another ("capital" property). How do you draw that line? It's almost certain that more people could live in your home than currently does. Can you (McGruder) give an argument against this individual using your home that doesn't also fit for a landlord and his property?

So the difference mainly lies in that the banking world isn't using JSON to shuttle data back and forth.
This is the heart of the issue. JSON is very weakly typed, while much or most financial software is written in strongly typed languages. When a weakly typed language attempts to handle JSON, that large number, with or without a decimal point, may be converted into a floating-point number by the language. So, really, it's the language losing, but we have to somehow deal with it. Then I say in the short term, we deal with JSON's quirks and leave the number as a number (which some languages may treat as a float instead of decimal), but take this into account when designing Bitcoin RPC v2.

I will probably make a large amount of granola/pemmican/trail mix before leaving, for the times when I can't find anything.
It's not an adventure unless you're eating pemmican! Good luck. Also, if you make a detour through Saint Louis, I can proxy buy you food/gas/etc. I've put a pin on the map just in case.

yeh thats cool. so how much would it cost me to fund 300 bitcoins??
$243.90, plus $4.95 (I think) to buy the MoneyPak. I've also traded MoneyPak for Bitcoin with Keefe and it was very quick and easy.

Where does he make his money if he has a o% fee?
He doesn't have to have a 0% fee, 2% or 1% is acceptable. It would mainly be competing with Paypal, not MtGox. Besides, the MtGox "api" consists of javascript widget. In some applications, more seamless integration is beneficial, and performing calls to a web service could be more desirable.

If you want to operate on string, just add suffix "String" to every parameter/attribute name.
It's not a matter of what you "want" to operate on, it's a matter of the API version, and the Bitcoin version, of the user. Any code using the API would have to detect that and modify its behavior.

How can you compete with paypal when theres a 3% fee..... With a 2% fee, of course. This doesn't works against 0% Ease of use. If this were available, it could be a seamless transition from Paypal to Bitcoin.

I will make an attempt at persuading Vodo to allow content creators to accept Bitcoin donations to fund their work through the site. Also, check out Zenith. It's an anti-authoritarian sci-fi and the first episode is quite interesting. I am unclear on the details, but Anonymous contributed to its making in some significant way.

Bitcoin OTC is a chat channel where individuals discuss/trade Bitcoin. There is an order book, which sgornick linked, where you can see who is selling what. Then just go to the chat and ask that individual to trade, and negotiate a deal.
