My suggestion is do research before investing. Personally before i want to invest the first way is i see the coin who have potential for short term or long term to get profit. Like bitcoin, if i want to in bitcoin i choose for short term because we know the price bitcoin is very volutile, and for long term investmet i choose ethereum because the price ethereum is stable but have a big potential for the future price ethereum will be higher.

Bitcoin will be halal when you get it by using halal way and will be haram if you get it with haram way. If our answer is not enough for you please ask to your religious teacher, he knows more about your religious law. Because if you ask us about bitcoin haram or not, with not much consideration for answer HALAL.

In coinmaketcap the price bitcoin now is $19.650, although as we know the bitcoin price is very difficult to guess, it only need a few minutes bitcoin prices will change. But if i want to predict the price bitcoin in january 2018 it will reach $ 21,000.

It is very difficult to observe 1000 coins, but the one i have to observed that is Ethereum, it have a stable value, it's need a long time for the price to go up, and it need a long time to get the price down. But in 2018 the price ethereum will be high maybe the price reach arround $2000.

Ethereum, personally is very potential for investment, in 2018 I am sure its price will soar. In coinmarketcap ethereum price is $712 and i suggest hold for long term. And the rest of the money is invested in litecoin, in coinmarketcap litecoin price is $ 315. I think that's enough to make you rich in the next few years.

Personally this forum is enough for newbie to learn about cryptocurrency. All you need is patience to read many threads in this forum. And for me  need a long time for understood and until now i have not got to know about cryptocurrency detail. Keep learning, read and understanding every thread what you read.

Altcoin prices are down, i think it's a good time to buy altcoin, especially ethereum. Do some research before you deciding to invest in cryptocurrency. My experience invest in crypto if i want invest for short term i choose invest in bitcoin but if for long term i choose in altcoin. Yes you should buy ethereum with all your money if you have research before, i think it would be risk if you not understand the character of ethereum. Because in my opinion ethereum is more suitable to invest for long term, he need a lot of time for the price to increase.
