From now henceforth, my assumptions about KYC verification from reputable online gambling platforms have changed, I seek for answers and I find them, drop your opinions if you think I am wrong or you think this is not accurate enough.
KYC cost them money too. There are some dedicated service who take fees for per user they verify. Now imagine a bookie have millions of users and for each user they are spending for example $5. It's minimum $5M.

KYC also help prevent abuse. When you are KYCed then chances are in a case of abuse, the bookie knows you and they will not allow you to continue with them anymore.
1462  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Where do you post trade information when you trade goods using cryptocurrency? on: March 19, 2023, 03:19:42 AM
bitcointalk? reddit? telegram? or other?

Would you use an escrow service? Or would you prefer to conduct transactions face-to-face?

Which escrow service you use? paypal or other?

If there were a completely on-chain application that could help you solve the trust issue without escrow,
would you be willing to give it a try?
I never needed to do such trade but if I have to then I will go with the forum.

Considering my presense on the forum for years I don't think anyone will ask for that. In fact they will need to send me first then to get payment. But for newbie or anyone who does not have long history they an use forum escrow. There are many users who provide escrow service.

Paypal? Go fuck them LOL
1463  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: ChipMixer.com has been seized. on: March 19, 2023, 02:14:06 AM
Also, if the government tells you to stop using bitcoin because it is illegal according to their view, would sell all the bitcoins you have because of their power or will you fight for your right?
That's why stay anonymous. I see members post their social profile, picture, phone number, website address and many more things that can lead to identify you easily. It's not just the government you need to do it for your own personal safety.

When you will be known to have Bitcoin in your procession, people will think you are reach no matter if you have even lass than 1 mBTC. If they identify you in real life then bad people will try to take advantage from it. Thing can end very bad.
1464  Economy / Reputation / Re: How wide reaching can the consequences of Chipmixer money laundering be? on: March 19, 2023, 01:39:40 AM
At this point they already have what they wanted, you just have to get it. When they capture the owner of ChipMixer, they'll want to make an example of him.
And how are they going to achieve it? Death sentence or life time behind the bar? I don't think much is going to happen. He will give them a lot of money they will reduce the bar time only if they can catch him. Considering the wealth the guy can easily change his identity, facial even physical structure those we see on the sci-fi  movies LOL.

My point is, they want to hold of as many Bitcoin as they can and make Bitcoin unusable. The market will decide the effect though.
1465  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 19, 2023, 01:30:29 AM
Really bad results today and i think o most no one got some big points. Really hard to get any points today. Barely got 1 from this 4 games.

1 point is a delight. Check this out

I thought I had the worst among those of us who are posting regular basis but looking at you gives me some confidence LOL

Have a look on a better one 😂

It's been a bad round so far for many. Why wouldn't it be? Three draw out of six match so far. I don't think many people prefer to go with a draw.

Hopefully I will break not having luck to get an exact score streak today 🤣? I lost my lady luck LOL

You're flying in the champions league pool. Beautiful sight
Thank you. It's my last hope to win something this season 😉
1466  Economy / Reputation / Re: How wide reaching can the consequences of Chipmixer money laundering be? on: March 17, 2023, 06:45:52 PM
The same forum members who, for some reason, were the loudest in demanding a pay rate reduction in the CM campaign, are now opening the champagne and celebrating what happened
It's jealously, envy, bitterness mouth tasting. A lot of people out there drives by their failure than achievements. They lack skills but works hard eventually only working hard is not taking you to the top. Skill and hard-work along with other success factor makes a man to achieve their desire. Well obviously your ethics should be not harming others.

Don't forget there are these other type of people. They seek opportunity to stay with the trend and allow themselves to get some attention.
1467  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 17, 2023, 06:37:03 PM
In the champions pool, I was fourth before the KO games. I can't even remember where I am now,  Grin I missed almost half of the games, and I'm hoping to recover with the quarterfinals games  The goal is to be in the top 5
You are already competing with your luck in such pools and when you miss your picks then you are losing your chances. It happened with me on EPL pool last year. Learnt from that and wanted to be serious this year but EPL pool is becoming a frustration for me LOL

Hopefully I will break not having luck to get an exact score streak today 🤣? I lost my lady luck LOL

Slam points very important in this next round Wink
Good luck 😉
1468  Economy / Services / Re: Advertising banners in a ICO portal on: March 17, 2023, 06:30:29 PM
Can you read? It's an ICO portal, not a porno site.
I read, there are no restrictions for ICO/IDO type of things unless it's NSFW that's what I meant.
1469  Economy / Services / Re: Advertising banners in a ICO portal on: March 17, 2023, 06:11:47 PM
Advertising for my site is probably prohibited here.
Let me guess. Pornography?
1470  Bitcoin / Electrum / Re: My wallet has been hacked. What to do? on: March 17, 2023, 06:06:35 PM
The wallet profile was missing on the PC, as well as the passphrase to restore it. I don't think it's my PC. I believe that the actions were carried out on a third-party resource. Does Electrum have tech support to check this? How can I communicate them?
When I read such questions like does Electrum have tech support, how can I get my coins return, please help me I lost my bitcoin, I feel disappointed and frustrated. Sorry brother, you are not dealing in Bank or any financial institution. When a hacker hack you device and still your cryptocurrency, it's gone forever. There are no return back unless the person who taken it decides to favour you.

I urge you to learn how Bitcoin works, what it means by decentralization things like that.

Sorry for your loss.
1471  Economy / Reputation / Re: How wide reaching can the consequences of Chipmixer money laundering be? on: March 16, 2023, 11:13:13 PM
There's going to be a huge debate about internet censorship if ever they fine signature campaign participants, they first have to prosecute and fine the domain registrar and the host hosting Chipmixer, and Google for indexing Chipmixer and everything related to why Chipmixer is online.
Wait you are missing it. The domain registers are the hosting and domain providers, right? What about ICANN? Before everyone else, file a case against ICANN for creating the whole domain things LOL.

Wait! I think they need to ban the entire internet.

If internet was not there then we would not need ICANN. No ICANN, there were no need for domain registers. No domain registers, how would even buy Chipmixer? So let give all blame to the internet. Now since internet is illegal, all these people who are using internet are criminal. File a case against everyone in the world now LOL. We need a bigger space in jail! What? Now my 4 years girl will be jailed for using internet (watching YouTube)! Chipmixer MFs! What have you done to the world? 🤧

I am going back to my cave 🤣
1472  Economy / Reputation / Re: Solosanz reputation on: March 16, 2023, 10:57:51 PM
I agree there is no DT mafia but I would not make it exclusively about a group of people who have the same feelings on a particular issue. There are several gangs and cliques here, that cannot be denied. Some do work in unison and in collusion with each other to troll and attack when they want and to push their own agendas, again that has been seen in the forum.

Overall, the race to get to DT1 for some people as well as the 1000 merit for Legendary rank is the driving force behind conduct. I am not making any comment either way on the allegations against Solosanz but you are right, there are members here who say what they want including calling out scams whether they are DT or not.

It's a race if you have an agenda maybe. Some view DT as power. Power to bully, power to threaten, power being in the DT mafia, you have a scam you want to pull off, or power to bring out the real you. Sort of like they gotta be DT to share their personal opinions about a user without facing any drama.

None of that is actually true. You bully or threaten users, you face the possibility of being removed from DT. There is no actual DT mafia, there's just a group of people who have the same feelings on some issues. Every DT member does not agree on everything. Bringing out the real you doesn't need DT status to happen either. If you're an asshole or don't like someone you have the right to let them know. It doesn't have to be a public announcement or anything. People are not stupid on here, most aren't anyways. There are some super intelligent users roaming around this place and if they smell a scam, they'll call you out. DT or not.
Stop making posts which has no value left. Quote one or two comments, repeat what was told before, stat to agree or disagree and then leave the topic. Long ago I read an analogy which was like: There are 50% changes to rain today. I agree with you, it will rain but I also think we will have a sunny day today. The topic is done.

Good job dragonvslinux, thanks for the time you invested reviewing his trust page. Let's lock it.
1473  Economy / Reputation / Re: How wide reaching can the consequences of Chipmixer money laundering be? on: March 16, 2023, 06:44:07 PM
How do those that participated in the Chipmixer signature campaign feel about this? Do you think you will be asked to repay all the money you received for promoting Chipmixer since the FBI and other international agencies have attributed them to money laundering?
This is bitcointalk forum not Chipmixertalk. Chipmixer was just a service like many others who advertised or advertising on the forum. So let's not make it sounds like Bitcointalk is Chipmixer.

For some reasons if they seize Google then are you asking them to seize the money of everyone who are earning from Google Adsense, Youtube monetization and many others Google service? Okay say they do, good luck with that.

More than 38 million websites worldwide use AdSense, data from 2018. Add four plus years with it. Good luck with that.
Every year, Google pays over $10 billion to its publishers, data from 2018 again. Get all those money.
Source: https://oko.uk/blog/adsense-facts

I am very lazy now to find data for YouTubers.

Fair enough, Google may comply with financial laws but don't you think today or tomorrow, by any chance when the authority will get upset for some reasons and accuse Google for privacy violation? Google even knows what key you are typing when you are using any of their application. Type a word in compose email, don't do anything else, take off your hand from the keyboard. Open the email from another device, check your draft. They are taking everything from you. With them you have no privacy. My privacy worth more than any money related things. So it's bigger crime. How long they will continue like this. Today, tomorrow, a few years from now. Then someday the eyes of authorities will open. They will shut down Google. It's what they do. Aren't they trying it with Facebook already?

Anyway, you may not aware (you should be) posting others real image, data of birth, address, phone number or even email address is prohibited. Only you can post such information on the investigation board. It does not matter if the information are even everywhere on the web. You can not post it here. So, either move it to investigation board or remove it. I will be reporting the topic after the post. If I am not wrong then, for such careless posts, you may get banned too.
1474  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: March 15, 2023, 09:02:09 PM
both teams have better offense than defense,
Liverpool is showing good defense so far. Alisson already saved at-least two goals LOL. Both teams are attacking but Real are obviously better.

So far so good but I don't think in terms of qualifying, anything is going to change for Liverpool. It's now more difficult. Score at least 3 goals in the next 45 minutes to take it to the extra time then may be score another one. All without conceding any goal.

1475  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Announcements (Altcoins) / Re: 🌔 Moon.win - Web3 Dice game and gambling platform on: March 15, 2023, 07:06:26 PM
Really a great and catchy domain name you have got. I must admit that the domain name really suit the website.
So everyone is preparing to land on the moon finally 😉?

I agree with you the domain name along with the TLD is good but it will be interesting how a new platform will make their name with others already established casinos. Right now it only has that good name.
1476  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Serious topic, have these bookmakers ever robbed you? [Discussion] on: March 15, 2023, 06:47:39 PM
They are in the list:
22 bet
megapari
uberlucky
Why do you cherry pick some of these bookmakers? I guess you have personal problems with them. When I go to the scam accusation board I see almost all bookmakers robbed (scammed) their clients LOL.

Here, check and make your list. Do me a favour, find a bookmaker who did not rob any of the users who are complaining on the board LOL

P.S: You will find there are few common members who are always robbed by almost all bookmakers. What you take from it, is your problem.
1477  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: March 15, 2023, 06:41:39 PM
Usually i prefer to bet against the obvious BTTS, but right now even odds of 2.5 don't appeal to me. And I do not expect anything special from this match, and even more so that Real will make a comeback, it seems to me that, firstly, Liverpool is not capable of creating great difficulties for Real in the second game in a row. Secondly, Real cannot constantly play according to the scenario of epic overcoming. I expect a simple game with goals, but no surprises and no nerves.
Real does not need to do anything special to qualify. It's Liverpool who needs to do everything to make the match exciting. Can they or can't, is unanswered until may be 70th to 80th minutes of the match or even in the first half. If Real scores early then nothing exciting is going to happen but if Liverpool scores then may be we will see many goals in this match again.

The match is not especial for most of the people but I think for the fans, we would like to see an epic match. Not long ago, didn't we ruined Utd by a 7 - 0? Yeah after that we lost against a team who were waiting to get relegated LOL

Everyone, when are we going to ban KTChampions for a round in the pool 🤣?
1478  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Sportsbet.io's English Premier League Football Pool Discussion Thread on: March 15, 2023, 06:31:39 PM
As for the exact results, I'm not sure about 3 outcomes out of 4 games, so it's hard to discuss exact results  Cheesy
In the premiere league pool, I already decided that TOP 10 is not for me anymore but the UCL pool is exciting me. So, since I am not having any exact scores from long time, I would like it to break in the UCL match instead of the two games we had in EPL today LOL
1479  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 🦊 Betnomi.com | Champions League Pool ⚽️ Discussion Thread on: March 15, 2023, 06:21:26 PM
Porto deserved to go to extra-time, they played better and tried till last second to score (even though it will make my 1:1 prediction poor, I was on Porto side in last 15 minutes, but they didn't score in the end)
Although I had Inter to win but Porto deserved the win in fact to qualify for the next round. I felt really bad for them. Especially in the injury time they gave everything they had but the lady luck was not with them. In the last minute alone two to three chances and one of them or two returned from the wood. How unlucky a team could be.

Inter was just a typical defending Italian club who play football only not to concede goal.

Mighty City or Haaland? I think I told it before too, I like this young man. He is a goal machine!
1480  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The fear of KYC requirements on: March 13, 2023, 07:52:47 PM
i agree with you.
not everything in gambling has to be shown at the start and sometimes it has to be hidden so that new customers who want to try the casino site are not afraid to make a deposit.

some people may disagree with this issue, but it has become part of the casino's strategy to get more customers to register and make deposits on the site.
I think Stake is different in the case. I am not sure it still there or not but long ago there was a discussion where it was clear that before making any deposit Stake ask for KYC verification. It obviously filter a lot of possible abuse in the first place. Big casinos can afford that but for a casino which is raising and still working on their name, is difficult.
