This topic is more suitable on scam accusation or beginners and help thread. This is about scam that just use gambling to phishing someone wallet and not a related at all on gambling discussion or casino that scam user.

Besides bumping a transaction that requires to connect the wallet on the link OP provided is very shady at all. Thanks for sharing and I hope that newbie will be aware on this new scam scheme.

Typical scam technique. Scammers are doing it from years. People are even stupid to give their private key /seed phrase.

To create such a website can cost $1,500 to $2,000. With these methods I am sure they make way more money then they invest. Unfortunately all these new people in the space falls the victim for it. There is another popular one which is to deposit money before withdrawing your winning.

Isn't this is the way most web3 casino do their business? if this is what you are referring to connect on the casino, not the typical giving the whole seed or private keys.

I don't know how it is possible from technical side. But if the site is too suspicious, new registered domain, newly made site without any good reputation, no reviews in the internet, using or connecting your main wallet to it is the most stupid thing a person can do, that's why being knowledgeable is the only way to avoid them.

Thank you friends for creating a thread to provide information and warnings to all forum members so they don't become victims of fraud committed by some fraudsters.
Cases of fraud like that happen a lot and usually the victims are new forum members or novice gamblers.
This type of fraud has been around for a long time and is no longer an open secret.
With more and more people willing to care and provide information like this, hopefully in the future there will be no more fraud cases that occur.

A good warning my friend, you have helped many people from this thread, always prioritize security for beginners and newcomers because of course they are the main targets of these scammers, always warn to be careful when connecting wallets to dangerous sites and always make sure the casino the official and already well-known in this forum is also trusted.

Although I couldn't read the text in your image, but I came across a scam accusation thread about the guy in your post and I guess that's the reason for that accusation thread.
The fact that the thread was made to be self-moderated is a red flag and connecting to a website provided by a random online stranger is a mistake that rookie makes, or if you ever want to connect your wallet to a site you know nothing about then create a new wallet address and use it.
I'll have to search for the post on archive so that I can take note of the casino's link so that I can avoid been scammed or phished with it. Btw, thank you for this awareness.

Just don't post in any self-moderated thread unless you really trust the user that created the topic. Whenever I enter a self-moderated topic, I immediately close that tab because I know that the OP would delete any posts he don't like. Maybe he won't like what I am going to say and delete my posts too... then why would I risk my precious time on that? I am posting my message so people can read it. If somebody can delete it because he/she can without a reason, then it doesn't make sense to make that post in the first place.

This is a very familiar scam in the crypto world but maybe relatively new in the gambling casinos. Usually the scammer will give you information about any airdrop or free money / tokens and ask you to connect your wallet. Once your wallet is connected, they will get hold of all your funds and your wallet will be emptied.

Similarly, many scam web 3.0 casinos may appear recently, and they will again ask you to connect your wallet. As soon as you connect it, the hackers will withdraw all your funds in it.

Solution

So the question arises what the solution for this is and how we will know if it is a scam web 3.0 casino or not?

Well, as a precautionary measure, do not connect our main wallet (which has funds) with these casinos. Make a new wallet, deposit only a few dollars with which you want to play, and connect that wallet with casino. In this case, even if the casino scams, you will only lose very little amount.

Even if I trust a Casiono so well and they happen to be a web3 project I don't connect my wallet with funds to it, if they don't make provisions for account creation which I can generate and address and make my deposit. I usually create a separate new wallet rename it in line with that of the Casiono's name, then u fund the wallet with th exact amount I want to use under it's respective Blockchain, so that if anytime is to happen I won't lose completely but just what I was already willingly to lose on wagering if the game don't play to my favour.

This kind of scam has really been for years now from airdrops which will requires users to make such connection before the  carry out their promised withdrawal which never happens, onces one authorize it's wallet to the site, about 1-2 times confirmation everything is gone back then what was targeted is that exact network native token.. I don't really know what length this programmers have gone to now.

I thought that he was a true lucky person and never thought that it was a scam despite me thinking how come that no other user in the forum have posted such a big win,I checked out the replay and I loved what I saw there,most probably they were playing with FUN money in the casino.This was a sophisticated scam attempt I must admit and the OP bringing this up here is a great example of showing how sophisticated the scams have become.I never play in a casino who asks me to connect my wallet except only in casinos that I can deposit money to their internal wallet,so the lesson to be learned from everyone here at least in my understanding is never play in a casino which asks you to connect your wallet,as it is most likely a scam to drain your wallets.

It's a simple attempt from the scammer yet very dangerous to potential victims. This is one reason why we should not just click random links. But if you ever clicked one, double check the URL and do not enter any vital information or confirm any transaction.

I don't know who is falling on stupid scams like this, but it's enough to add negative feedback on his profile and post about this in scam accusation.
He is brand new user so I am sure he is going to easily create new account with different name if he gets banned, or he could try sending PMs.

To you mate the possibility is unlikely that's because you have a prior knowledge about all these tricks already but what about those that are just new into the system with a blank slate idea about this particular scam scheme. And that's why they are the target victims for this kind of scammers, and that's why we always admonish the newbies to always ask questions before going into what they are blind to cause this space is more like a jungle.

I know the thread and I had a second thoughts about it when the guy posted such a huge amount ($225k) and later come back to say that the issue has been solved. He couldn't even show us anything as proof of the issue and the money received. There is a need to be careful about such.

However, I will blame those that will fall for such a scam vice in this 21st century, it is too good to be true. And if a casino is worth trying at all with such a big money display, such must be popular and should be well researched about.

The cardinal rule is always been never to connect your wallet to unknown and new platforms especially if it comes from shilling the platform, the scammers will tempt you and if you are greedy you are at risk of losing your funds, you can try using an empty or disposable wallet but you will later found out that it's really a scam.

Thanks for giving us a warning and helping members to stay alert from these type of scams as this is normal but we need to realise that whenever some site is asking us to connect the wallet we should not do it blindly as this is clearly phising attempt to drain your funds.So we should always be careful while doing these things and again good you pointed it out.

Linking wallets is a mode of fraud that has been circulating a lot, but of course this is very valuable knowledge for beginners. I consider them to be standard scammers, as they show their usual mode of operation, linking wallets for example, which is what these scammers do.
Maybe I want to add here, if we are really curious, then we can use a new wallet to connect our wallet. Just as many have said, never connect our main wallet anywhere, especially if it is a site that is foreign to us. I think we are not just 1 or 2 people who lost money in the same way, so we must not fall into the same hole.
