Chelsea have a pretty tempting odd over 2.00 for their victory against West Ham now. I can't hold myself off from betting on them this time. 

I'm aware of the big risk at the same time of course. Because Chelsea are still not a team to be trusted much. They couldn't defeat Fulham home the last time as you know. But after all those point losses I guess they will start from a point to maintain a good form finally. This match is another opportunity for them to do so. West Ham are not the team we know from the past season. You know how strong they were last season. But in one season they have changed so much that they are trying not to relegate. Maybe it will still be a tough fight for Chelsea but hopefully they should be winning this time. I see Felix's suspension is gone finally so I hope he will play and make a good impact this time.

Leverkusen - Monaco seems to be a competitive matchup but the odds are telling a little different. Because I see Leverkusen as quite the favourite for next round.

I don't think there is a rift between these teams. Instead Monaco's situation is better than Leverkusen comparing their domestic leagues. Leverkusen are just better than before now thanks to Xabi Alonso's strategies. Their main focus might most likely be the Europa League also. Because they don't have much thing they can achieve in the Bundesliga after that horrible run for a long time. Maybe this can be an extra advantage for them against Monaco. But even if they eliminate Monaco I expect it to be by a slight margin.

Atletico Madrid will most probably replace Simeone with a new manager soon but it would happen by the end of the season. Because they don't have much goal left in the season now. They can just finish the season in top 4 and secure a ticket for the Champions League that's all.

Real Madrid will have a very comfortable week this time. A match in Santiago Bernabeu against the last-placed team is a gift for them to improve their form. I know Villarreal got a surprising defeat against this team but this doesn't mean much to me in this match. Real Madrid would dominate the match from the start to the end and finish them off. A win with a big goal gap would be a big help for their self-confidence also. Because they started to lose points in unexpected matches again and this is dragging them down.

I watched the Salernitana - Juventus match and there were really positive things about the away team. It made me a little more hopeful about Juventus' future.

But of course it isn't ideal to think like that depending on only this match. I can say Juventus played a well-organized game. They were creating really nice opportunities by good passes. Vlahovic was the most effective player of the team of course. He made a funny assist also.    While he was trying to shoot he made an assist inadvertently. Salernitana defense was really weak and they couldn't answer with any proper attack also. There were two shots of Juventus which hit the goal post otherwise this score would have been bigger.

Lille actually didn't start well to the match. They had serious weaknesses in defense and this helped Lyon benefit from them.

Especially Lyon's second goal was due to a big defensive mistake. But even though the score came to 2-0, Lille still didn't give up and made a really great comeback. They managed to carry the match to penalties. By the way before 90 minutes ended Lyon had a big opportunity to score with a header again but the goalkeeper made a really good save. However Lyon were still really successful in penalties as well. Lille missed two penalties one of which was saved by the goalkeeper. Both teams made a great effort of course so I appreciate them both.

Atletico Madrid are trying to bandage their wounds but they are still an unreliable team now.

Because you know how disappointing ending they had against Getafe. It should have been an easy win for Atletico Madrid normally. But they couldn't keep the match under control until it ended. If they can't even win a match like this in their home stadium how can I believe in them to get better soon? They seem like they are just trying not to drop down from top four. They can't do more than that either now actually. They have already lost their chance for the league title. I wonder if they will get into a revolution phase or something like that by the end of the season.

Leicester - Tottenham might be an interesting match in three days. I know that you will say that Tottenham are highly favourite side for the win. But it might not be that simple at the same time.

Because the odds make me curious about the result of this match. Tottenham have been given 1.85 odd for their win and it is pretty high. One of the main reasons should be that Tottenham are the away team in this match. However I see that Tottenham defeated them in their last two away matches against Leicester also. Considering the current situations of these teams Tottenham seem pretty likely to do so again. Especially after their win over Manchester City I hope to see a stronger Tottenham as of now. With the help of Kane also Tottenham should be able to win here.

Barcelona are very likely to defeat Villarreal actually. Because Villarreal aren't having good days recently.

Villarreal even lost to Elche which didn't have any win until this match. It was a quite big defeat also. This would be shocking for the team for sure. Maybe this could cause their defense line to still have serious weaknesses against Barcelona also. I remember their Real Madrid match in which they fought bravely and won. I expect Setien to apply the same strategies in the Barcelona match also. But of course Barcelona and Real Madrid have completely different game plans. I wonder how Villarreal can resist Barcelona's high pressure and pass traffic.

Asensio has played in many matches maybe but most of them were for a short period of time. He was preferred by Ancelotti in their last two matches for a long time this time. He impressed people by a solid effort in one of them. But the other match was a nightmare for him. Because he missed a penalty.

The reason why I've told you this is to show that he isn't a consistent player. At least it is like this while he is a Real Madrid player. Because of that maybe Arsenal might be a good choice for Asensio. He is already an unwanted player here as it seems. Because his contract is nearly expiring. Arsenal like to bring this kind of players to help them rise again. Odegaard has been impressive for example.

I don't see a big odd for Manchester United to win against Leeds. It is 1.45 now. This is still a favourable odd of course but not for single betting. Instead this can be a really good choice for parlays.

Manchester United are having a great time period now. Erik ten Hag was criticised quite much in his first times with the team. They couldn't pull themselves together for some weeks. But patience was really a big help for them. Now there is a really good chemistry among the players. They have reached the third position in the standings and they even have a chance to equalize the points with Manchester City. Leeds on the other hand are not a decent team now. They are better at scoring compared to the teams around them but their defense is really bad. Manchester United should be able to win this.

We shouldn't write off Manchester United also. The favourites for the Europa League title currently are Arsenal, Barcelona, Manchester United and Juventus to me.

One of the Barcelona - Manchester United duo is going to be out by this round of course. But I don't think there is any clear favourite between them. Barcelona are really doing amazing in the La Liga now. In addition to that they have improved their game in big matches as well. Their Super Cup match against Real Madrid can be given as a great example. On the other hand Manchester United are also in a great shape. Erik ten Hag has built up a strong chemistry with the team and this has started to reflect on the results.

Arsenal are focused mainly on the English Premier League. If the gap between them and their closest opponent becomes too close then they might have some concentration problems in the Europa League. But I still think they are the biggest title contender. Lastly Juventus are in a bad condition in the Serie A after the punishment. But on one hand this is the time they can really increase their focus on the Europa League. Because this can be their only way to the Champions League next season.

I don't have much expectation from Liverpool from now on truthfully. Because they don't give anything positive to us to rely on.

I know that Liverpool were still bad in the Premier League while they were doing a great job in the Champions League group stage. However Liverpool still can't improve their performance now. Injuries are also a factor in this of course because they have some important players missing still - like Diaz and Firmino. If they were able to play things might have been better for Liverpool. Maybe they are bad at defending but at least they could have strengthened their attacking area.

Inter are a very strong team now. They had defensive issues in the first half of the season. This was affecting them really badly. I can say it was even the main problem dragging them down from climbing the positions.

But after returning from the World Cup break something has started to change. They still maintained their solid attacking performance and improved their defending more. Now they are having the product of their effort by keeping the second position in the league. In addition to that they have even a title already, the Super Cup title. They can get the Coppa Italia title also actually. They are obviously the biggest favourite now after Napoli's elimination. Finishing the season with the 2nd position in the Serie A and two titles would be amazing for them.

Erik ten Hag is planning big changes in Manchester United squad in the summer. There are some players who are expected to leave the team then. There are players like Maguire, McTominay, Telles, van de Beek, Martial and Bailly in this list.

Because Manchester United have plans to sign some big names to strengthen multiple positions in the lineup. Rice and Kane are some of these targets for example. If they complete this renovation successfully then I can't imagine how solid this team can be by next season. Even now they are doing a pretty good job in the league. ten Hag was criticisized in his first time maybe but he has a good chemistry with the team from now on. Strengthening the squad would make them competitive for the league title also.

Manchester City seemed weaker than normal in this match. They had struggles in defense and made mistakes also.

Because of Rodri, Kane found a great goal opportunity suddenly and he took advantage of it great. There was a great shot by Mahrez while we were in the final moments of the first half but it came back from the post. There were a couple of moments Manchester City objected to the decision of the referee. They waited for penalty to be given to them there. One of them should have been penalty also truthfully. For example Cristian Romero's arm wasn't adhered to his body and the ball clearly hit his hand. How isn't this a penalty?

Tottenham managed to get the win by showing a really good performance. This is a relieving result for Arsenal for sure.

The second half was really difficult for Juventus but they still managed to secure a 1-0 win somehow. Because they changed roles in this half. Juventus started to be more ineffective and Lazio captured the control of the match suddenly. I understand Juventus that they just wanted to keep this score. Otherwise they would have played near their first half effort. Lazio did their best but it wasn't enough. I should admit I wasn't expecting Juventus to defeat them in 90 minutes.

Juventus want this title as they are going to have a horrible season in the Serie A. I don't know if they can go until the title while there is a big Inter threat especially.
