14601  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Biometrics is the key to defeating Bitcoin hackers! on: February 18, 2014, 04:44:40 PM
I think Biometrics would be a worthy two/third-factor authentication as long as they were implemented properly and safe.

"The update specifies that "we may contact you in any manner we choose" and that such contacts can include calls, emails, texts, faxes or a "personal visit."

As if that weren't creepy enough, Cap One says these visits can be "at your home and at your place of employment."

A bit creepy. On a slightly releated note, I get a letter from Capital One every month or two trying to get me to sign up to their crappy credit card.

14603  Other / Off-topic / Re: Over/Under on when Obama will say either "bitcoin" or "virtual currency" on tv.. on: February 18, 2014, 04:28:35 PM
As the title states, what are your predictions on when Onama will address the public and mention "bitcoin" or "virtual currencies" publicly?  Maybe we can create some betting lines?

I'd bet he wont at all.

He will say it on national tv when he confirms he is banning it.

:DDD made me cry Cheesy well he wont be a president for much longer though

My thoughts as well lol. Everyone doesnt want to extend his office.

He is already in his second term, so it cant be extended again. I dont even trust the accuracy of the vote counting in united states anymore. It seems rigged sometimes to be honest.

I reckon Clinton might get in.

Hilary Clinton?  Bill won't be back, but Hilary was running the show behind the scenes when he was president anyway...

Of course Hilary. Didn't Bill serve his two terms?

The Ha Ha Ha song, can't find any youtube link..

That reminded me of David Bowie's Laughing Gnome song: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xZ_Wbjz8JTc

Used to listen to it over and over as a kid  Grin.

Somewhat related - I wish Kickstarter would accept BTC :/

I think there's a couple of Bitcoin crowdfunding sites. Here's one: https://bitcoinstarter.com/

You can stop reading unless you like poor quality songs with poor quality singing and poor quality production.

All Weezer songs sound like that haha. I really like a few Weezer singles, but godamn I fucking hate the Pinkerton album so much.
14607  Other / Off-topic / Re: Movie Recommendation Station on: February 18, 2014, 04:16:13 PM
Any similar films to "Now you see me"? I don't want any mindfuck. With some mistery, but no scarness at all. AT ALL. I like those where thay are slowly solving some kinda mistry and finally finds what they where searching for. Those treasure hunting like Indiana Jones and Lara Croft were good, but i saw them already. With some kinda "real" history would be cool, like Knights Templar misterys or something like that.
Thanks a lot.

What about The Da Vinci Code or National Treasure?

Da Vinci Code bored me, I'm not sure what I expected but it was something of a snoozefest as I recall. Doesn't make it a bad film, but just wasn't one that I could get into.
Try to read a Da Vinci Code book, it's much more interesting compared to movie.

The film was very disappointing and doesn't live up to the book at all. I haven't seen Angels & Demons yet. Think they're making The Lost symbol film soon.

I think as a blanket statement, typically movies don't live up to the books that they were based on.   Common sense would say that the movies would be more interesting than the books, since it is all visual, but somehow it always seems to be the opposite.   It is probably because movies crunch about 10-20 hours of reading into 1.5 hours of viewing.   A lot of people  can't find the time to read a 3 inch thick book, so they have to settle for the movie.

Yeah, that's true and I agree, but I always try to read the book first before I watch the film. One film that is better than the book is The Devil's Advocate. Book is one of the shittest I've read and the film actually has more literary merit.
14608  Other / Off-topic / Re: TV time on: February 18, 2014, 04:13:06 PM
On to the last ep of House of Cards now. I've got a feeling they're going to end it on a cliff-hanger or go out with a bang.

Did you watch it? I'm on episode 6 now.

Yup. It didn't really end with a bang or on a cliff-hanger, but they set it up nicely for season 3, though the last episode felt a bit rushed to me, like they tried to quickly cram everything in. Can't really say much without giving stuff away, but overall I enjoyed it, but no where as good as the first season, but I'm looking forward to what scrapes Francis gets himself in now  Grin.
14609  Economy / Services / Re: Earn up to 0.8BTC/month just by posting! - Advertise for PrimeDice.com! *Updated on: February 18, 2014, 04:10:04 PM
18th is here Still owed from Nov, Dec, Jan and now what seems to be Feb too. I have posted details in pms every month and apart from Nov to Dec that was carried over as agreed by you I am yet to receive payment for the months listed.

I understand about late payments and all with many people to process payments, however I don't find this to be right at all wasting posting each and every month to you to wait and to be told to re send over and over and get nothing in return.

If matter is not addressed Stunna and fixed then I will remove my signature. It is a shame its coming to this and you not paying me even tho I have kept most of this to pms and filling requirements yet nothing is being done to resolve this matter. I post on the 17th and I also post a day in advance and then on the day and yet no response. I understand its only the 18th here but past owed and waiting is not good.

you still not received the payments of Nov, Dec, Jan ? Cry

Have you carried all your posts over from November?

have any of  you guys received your payments already for this month yet?
today hope all will received because Stunna already says he starts on 18 February

oh, ok...that's cool, I was just wondering when payments start going out.   Not a big deal, and I figured that he has a ton of people to send out btc to...Thanks!

He does. 74 messages to get though according to the Primedice thread. Don't worry, you'll get it sooner or later. I'm always surprised he actually gets payments out as soon as he does. Must be a lot of work, not to mention how busy he'll be with the site.

YOU PHOTOSHOPPED THAT!

you're not gonna fool me that easy...
I'm on to you. *points finger*

Wrong. That's a screenshot from Ancient Aliens. They only deal in facts.

Is it possible that an ancient alien astronaut called Satoshi created cryptographic currency?

I donīt think MTGox is bankrupt. Its not the first time they are simulating the market. This time Mark Karpales just waited for the perfect situation "bitcoin malleability issue" to earn enormous amounts of commission and doing insider trades on his own bitcoin exchange. Just read my thread:

May be heading for Bankruptcy.

...Buying WorldCoins.

Here are the arguments
1) fully confirmed transactions of max. 60 seconds instead of several hour with bitcoins (like I had today with 0.005 BTC fee because the transfer was important to me - I was about to buy WorldCoins).
2) Good name
3) Very strong community

1) Are they really fully confirmed after 60 seconds?
2) I disagree
3) Everybody says this about their favourite coin  Cheesy.
14618  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Thinking of selling my services for BTC. on: February 17, 2014, 07:36:57 PM
Just choose a sig deal from here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=333916.0

You can also try sell stuff on the marketplace or on sites like cryptothrift.
14619  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Unable to post on: February 17, 2014, 07:35:17 PM
Ye, I'm also getting message sometimes that I've already posted, when I hadn't posted anything for few hours :|

Log-ins and attempted posts count. You need to wait the full six minutes after these.

im new in bitcoin world maybe about 3weeks old lol
but hey there im just curious how many months does it takes for you huys to earn 1btc? specialy if you are a jobless person and always in the front of computer 14hrs everyday?

honestly i want to earn so if you guys know any other ptc sites that paid in bitcoin other than coinad btcclicks and the other please let me know its ok for me also to register under your referral for me to help you also

Even if you clicked ads and filled out captchas and faucets all day you still wouldn't make much so it's not worth your time. Easiest way to make BTC is to participate in a signature deal or sell items or services on the marketplace.
