1481  Economy / Exchanges / Re: What do people think of Kraken on: October 30, 2023, 11:29:59 AM
Thanks a lot.
So I am not here to promote any project, not sure what you're talking about. I'm just a random dude who's still relatively new to this.
if you are truly new to this then why post exaggerated things ? you said there are flood comment
about 1 star complaint but upon checking there is only 2 or 3 account that has that ratings?

and also if you say Flood meaning multiple account but having that issue in trustpilot? am not
sure if anyone of us will even believe what is written there because we are tired of checking fake reviews.

Quote
Now I will say that when reading those Trustpilot ratings they did seem a bit odd to me, because they were a bit similar in their tone, the language they use, and in how vigorously they demanded that people stop using the platform. So it would make sense if those are bots or shills. On the other hand, some of them do provide transactions IDs upon request by the Kraken team who responds there, so it would seem that those are legit customers.

I'm just trying to gauge whether there might be a crisis around the corner and whether these could be the early warning signs or not.
try checking other review site mate and also try to check this forum in Reputation and scam accusation
because this forum will not tolerate Kraken if they are shady or having complicated reviews because there are many
users here that are Kraken users also.
1482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does lottery rewards expire? on: October 30, 2023, 10:26:44 AM
Yes, you read that accurately.

If I buy several lottery tickets and then leave my account dormant for a long time, say at least 6 months, and my ticket wins the jackpot during that time.
Will anything happen to my prize money? Will the casino refund my money because I never claimed any of the rewards?

It's just a thought I've had for a while and decided to ask here in the community.

There is nothing in this world that has no expiration , even Life has mate so yes there is expiration but
I think depend in which casino or their rules , I may ask is this online lottery? and which site ? and refunding? if you are asking
about your initial bets so maybe the casino is generous enough to bring that back but if your winning is what you asked here and
expecting after expiration will be a refund , sorry But I guess gambling owners are more wiser than us, they will take this opportunity
to take your winning if you did not comply with their terms., remember that it is your mistake and not theirs so a win win situation
for them right? so if you won lottery better to claim it right away before there is someone that will try to claim for you .
1483  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is Bitcoin for everyone? on: October 30, 2023, 09:28:24 AM
I am asking this because not everyone has made tangible profit for holding. Just like myself I end up selling at a loss most times just to solve a problem. Some might be lucky to buy at a low rate and within few weeks or months the price just pumps to their favour. This kept me wondering if Bitcoin is actually for every one or it is a scheme for selected individuals..
It is for everyone that is interested in keeping and risking , and this is also for those who are not greedy
and not seeking for easy money because if that is your plan here then you are in the wrong place , bitcoin is something we
must trust for the rest of our life and until next generation , this is why such coin must be treated long term and not just
for short term like what others try to impose and do.
those are the loser and mostly the blamer of crypto investment that we have been hearing over the years outside this forum.
1484  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to build a career with bitcoin? on: October 30, 2023, 08:41:18 AM
One of my older brothers bought bitcoin with that money, instead of keeping it in the bank, about 6 months ago, the price of bitcoin was 24-25k+, and he bought about 1 BTC. The price of bitcoin has increased to 34K+. In just 6 months, he has made a profit of 9k+ dollars, which would have taken more than 20 years to get from the bank. This means that bitcoin can become a millionaire if people invest in it at the right time. I also bought some bitcoins myself and did it by withdrawing money from the bank. Success is not possible if you do not take risks in life. I know how hard it is to make money and if it is to sweat your head and work day and night, then it is worth it. And we can make a lot of income by buying or trading bitcoin with the right rules. I think bitcoin is a bright future for us.

Your brother is lucky but that does not mean you will be lucky also not unless your willingness will take you
to long term investing then that would be great or at least in the next Halving in which will take place in the last quarter of 2024
show your willingness and sure there will be better coming your way. 9k profit is so cheap if your brother will be wise enough to
keep that bitcoin inside her wallet for the whole year from now and with that he will be multiple richer at least that would last him
more than a year or at least 2 years before tasting that product.
1485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can loneliness make one addicted to gambling on: October 30, 2023, 08:01:02 AM
I'm confused and looking for answers

If you are lonely, can you have interest in gambling simply because of your loneliness?
This is for me depending on how you will be lured to gamble, sometimes friends are luring us and making it the
way for us to be a gambler and yes we are vulnerable when we are lonely so the chance of becoming more
aggressive gambler is there.
Quote
How would you judge someone who says they don't gamble because it's fun, is that a sign of a gambling addiction?
wait what? is there someone says they don't gamble for fun? meaning they completely gamble to become rich?
then that seems to be stupid Idea
Quote
If you are making $600 a day, that's $20000 in a month, and because you are only you start having interest to gamble, what do you think this is?
600 a day and 20k a month , how does it happened? and please clear this part.

Quote
All these questions is been asked because someone close said all these and I think he are losing money and losing himself too, of all the discussions we had, these are the points I held unto.

Later he open up to have been using $500 for gambling per day, he said all these started when his wife left him, that he isn't into gambling at all, but I can't ask why his wife left him in the first place, but does loneliness make people become addicted to gambling or it's something else.
He must be very rich  , can spend 500 dollars per day? he is not a normal employee .
1486  Economy / Gambling / Re: JungleCasino.io | Fully decentralized Smart Casino | Low House Edge 1% | No KYC on: October 30, 2023, 07:27:04 AM

Hello Jungle casino , welcome to our humble but famous forum , I love those fully decentralized smart casino
Specially when asking only for 1% House edge , that is how Low we wanted in every gaming and yes that
NO KYC thing that we all makes an issue for how many years now, there are some faker site that promise
to not ask KYC but trust me , when there is an winning and need to take out? you will be either ask for KYC
or sadly being blocked, if you are truthful to this claim then thank you and I will show interest instead.

What is interesting is the impressive list of wallets that we can connect to the casino. So many wallets, and many of them are totally new to me. Smiley

The site looks very nice, you are just at the beginning with only a few games... as for the dice game, I think you should add auto-betting with at least some basic options, to make a game more attractive. Well, every start is hard so I wish you a lot of luck on your journey... I hope you are here to stay! Smiley
that is also one of the best thing here because you don't have to stick in one wallet as there are so many options
that we can use , I love that plus their Name is Simply amazing , I love the jungle thing there lol
1487  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: How quick do altcoins pump in bull run? on: October 30, 2023, 07:05:24 AM
2024/25 will be my first bull run and I have been patiently buying and holding for over a year now.
Maybe best to tell us what coins have you bought and keeping in hold till now? because you mentioned
about having them for over the year? so we can also give our valuable site for your potentials ?

Quote
Just wondering for those who were in the last bull run what it was like and how fast prices pump during the peak bull times?
I have been in the 2 bull runs and the pump is really fast and good but depend in which coins you are holding
but if you are talking about shitcoins, then good luck to your holding because there are so much to consider
when dealing with altcoins and if those are ranking coins then congratulations in advance.
Quote
Any advice on how to prepare when it comes to being ready to take profit?

for you to be prepare, then best you should know first what coins are you dealing and holding and about
profiting ? you must be ready when you see Bitcoin goes ATH and then be ready when your coins up.
1488  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is doubling your investment more probable than we think? on: October 30, 2023, 06:49:48 AM
If you can carry Holding long time there is no need to doubling your investments
Because your funds will make its way to multiplier even how many than just doubling and also why bother to
add more when you are safer and contented in how much you are going to risk? remember that this market
is about risk and trust and also what we keep telling newbies to "Invest what you can afford to lose"
so why need to add more ?

another thing is that you don't know where is the right timing , so buying one time big time is for me the most appropriate and
more favoring still.I bought mine last year (though i still have some sitting in my wallet before that purchase) but I kept holding
and waiting for the perfect timing to sell them all, maybe in the next bull run effect that will settle late part of 2024 or
the last early quarters of 2025.
1489  Economy / Gambling / Re: 1XBIT.COM ᐉ 7 BTC WB ᐉ Altcoin Betting ᐉ no KYC ᕗ Instant payouts on: October 30, 2023, 06:33:24 AM
Yes it will mate , the more we bumped this is the more it will appear in search engine so even outside our forum , people will be warned of potential outcome of their money if they engaged and deposit in this scammers.
1xbit has been sinking for a long time now and Bitcointalk is easily one of the reasons responsible in this context if you think about it. Google 1xbit scam and you will find Bitcointalk in the top-5 search results which says a lot.

Wish the same could be done about 1xbet, but they don't really have a presence in this forum and they are way bigger to take down in comparison.

yeah , just typing 1xbit Scam and this is what will google reveal

1xBit is a champion in bad publicity. There are many search results when you Google “1xBit scam”. Unlike many other casinos, however, the case here isn't about ...

according to https://cryptomaniaks.com/1xbit-review

with all said it is an obvious that they are on top of giving honest review about this scam casino and hoping that all people will learn about this.
for them to be safer and to be scam free
1490  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling and it effects on: October 29, 2023, 04:26:58 AM

One one thing I have noticed about gambling is that before you win a thousand box, they might have milk you of more than that.
[I just want to use this medium to appeal to the younger generation, please stay off gambling, if you must do so, gamble responsible, don't take it as your only source of living so it wouldn't milk you dry.
then you already knew what gambling is all about lol, you will lose more than you can earn ,
for every hundred loses lucky for you if there is a 10 dollar win  Grin well that is according to my own experiences and also best to just enjoy
the game (but of course hope and pray to win and learn also to stand up when you have enough wins)
and one thing , about thinking gambling as a source of income? to feed you and family? that will be the stupidest thing people can ever think
about. because gambling should be for entertainment and only brings bonus if we win , specially when we hit the jackpot? that would be
the happiest part to enjoy and also to win.
1491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins would you invest $ 1,000,000 in? on: October 29, 2023, 03:55:28 AM
I'd stick 90%+ into bitcoin and then toy around with a couple alts.  I'd stick a large majority of the remaining into polygon/matic.  The coin shoukd be primed for a nice move in price once the bull run is in full affect.  But don't get it wrong most of it should get put into bitcoin.

If I were to decide and advise OP ? i would choose like what you said to pur that 90%
instead in altcoin? that would be bitcoin because I have seen this kind of scenario many times that before anything else bitcoin
is the safest and the highest increasing currency in all bullrun.

What altcoin / altcoins would you choose and what would you invest your million in? Huh
With that kind of money I would obviously invest in Bitcoin and Eth.
Because the only coins that have successfully faced bearish and bullish are currently BTC and ETH.
In some bullish and bearish periods.
The coin can return to its original price, even exceeding the previous price.

If other coins go up, they can go really high, but once they're stuck for years they might not be picked up.
Seems like everyone is aiming for Bitcoin while OP clearly mentioned his asking for ALTCOIN ,
or maybe because majority of people here in bitcointalk are Bitcoin holder so blame no one but OP for asking this here .
1492  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Greed or risk on: October 29, 2023, 01:59:10 AM
I saw this image below on one of my friend's WhatsApp statuses earlier today. I don't know if the game was played by him or if it was an image saved from somewhere, but the image got me thinking, and we got into a debate because of that.

This will never come to a debate mate because we all have our own ways and target
wins , or ability to risk those are the qualities need to consider before decisioning what is good or bad.so let that slip owner decide for himself.

Quote
I was telling someone that if I'm the one to have such a slip and the game is already showing me to cash out such an amount of money, which is equal to $865 based on our local exchange rate, seeing such an amount as cash out available and leaving it will make me appear like someone who is too greedy, but the guy was telling me it's not being greedy but it's all about taking risks. The debate didn't end well, so I decided to bring this up here to see the responses from experienced gamblers.

That is if you are the one whos playing , but what if the owner wanted to win thousand
dollars ? or have you wonder how much have he deposited that day ? how much he have lost and how much is his target recovery?Come
one man 800 dollars is just a peanut to many gamblers trust me they care not that big losing that.
Quote
Lucky for anyone who ever has that bet slip, it seems like the game played in his favour.

i use to win more than a thousand dollars and cash out only 400 dollars and let lose the remaining lol.
1493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: What altcoins do you think are currently still cheap but have good potential for on: October 28, 2023, 11:38:54 AM
It may not be so cheap but I think you can invest in Cardano(ADA) https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/cardano/
and of course Polygon(MATIC)https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/polygon/ have a good look in this 2 and also try comparing to other
altcoins in top 10 rank.

Ripple mate , pricing around 50 cents? grab it before it grows so high .
Let me touch on this a bit, a few weeks ago we were all suspecting a big price drop but it didn't turn out like that, a vulgar PUMP with BTC through many news. news related to ETF. Personally, I have seen some altcoins have a significant bounce and there is speculation that they may continue to increase in the short term, but I will still maintain my stance on a market-wide flash and then we can be completely confident in the goods we want.

As for XRP, for me, growth is possible, but according to speculation, I think the profit level achieved will not be more optimal than with other cryptocurrencies, instead of XRP, I will choose LTC instead. But anyway, both will have no problem increasing prices if the market trend changes completely to a bullrun state.

I am also a former fan pf LTC,litecoin and yes this use to be my holding but after selling all my litecoin ,
I invest majority in Bitcoin and ethereum and so far they are sitting their for good.
1494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you keep a record of winnings and losses in gambling? on: October 28, 2023, 11:29:18 AM
In the past I keep recording my losses per week , and assume that I will never have
the same losses in the next week but it turns out that instead of of lessening ? i chases my losses so i stopped the recording
and only let my wife allows me specific amount to gamble, I even asked her the money because she is the one whos holding
my ATM and just giving me allowance for how much I needed.

So for me there is no need for recording instead what we need is to control our gambling ,
Have a plan to how much  to risk and how much a target winning. that is the safest and the best way to stay better in gambling.

1496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Best Crypto to buy for 2024 ? on: October 28, 2023, 09:15:43 AM
Every person who lives with cryptos know that cryptocurrencies will dump in 2023 and in 2024 we will more grow...
so in this topic, we discuss which coin is better to buy for more gains about 10X to 1000X!

my idea :

1- ETH---10X  Shocked
2- ADA---20X  Shocked
3- MATIC---10X   Shocked
4-SHIBA--100X  Shocked
5-NEAR---50X  Shocked
6-DOT--20X  Shocked

what's your idea? Cool
Really Polkadot ? have you checked the market recently? maybe you are mistaking the speculation lol
MATIC - seems to be going that way as you are only aiming for x10( though seriously I think lower than that).

SHIBA INU  - will never get that x100 https://coinmarketcap.com/currencies/shiba-inu/ look at it now and decide for your self if you are going to believe it.

ETH - x10 means will be 20 thousand dollars ? not so sure , maybe 10k?

NEAR - I trust this one , but don't think of x50 mate that is exaggerated .
1497  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think if you have a lot of money its hard to satisfy your ego in gambling on: October 28, 2023, 07:28:01 AM
We have threads here about people betting millions of dollars on sports battings and other games in casinos and the amount of money is insane, they can bet millions of dollars on one team and they easily forget everything and bet another millions.
those are truly Millionaire if  not billionaire , I have not seen actual bet of million but
I come to play with gambler that can bet 20,000 dollars per spin/roll in one game and that is insane already for me
what more those million dollars per bet?
Quote
I doubt if we have high rollers who will admit, that having a lot of money means you cannot satisfy your ego or that your level of enjoyment is high that you will need to bet millions of dollars just to fulfill your dopamine level.
or maybe is it not truly? that they happened to have tons of money and also wanted to Win big time?
because we seems to be putting something to them when the truth is not? that they are just enjoying specially ijn Online gambling?
I may follow if this is infront of beautiful girls or some friends that also a millionaire? but if online? what is the EGO for it when there
is no even one knows you bet those?
Quote
What do you think, if I have millions I will be satisfied betting thousands of dollars for fear of addiction that will lead to losing my fortune, but I really don't know if I will reach that level of having millions and still be moderate in gambling.

Maybe better to have a Millions first , because this are all speculative answers because we will
only comment depending in our capacity now , but when we are in their shoes? we can even bet more than what they did.

I don't wanna miss the chance to greet the site specially #lightlord for this 8th
years of anniversary , also I wanted to greet all admins or bitvest and of course Our Great Manager @CryptoprebneurBrainboss.
I have started my way to be a member of the team since last week . and another thing is that wishing another more years of

Happy Birthday 8th year Bitvest!  Smiley

I hope I'm not too late wishing bitvest and its developers a happy birthday!!

8 years of surviving in the world of crypto casinos is not an easy thing, especially as competitors (new online casino gambling sites) continue to emerge, becoming one of the largest and longest running online casino sites in the world is not an easy thing, I have been in the bitvest campaign for several weeks, hopefully in the future, Bitvest could become one of the largest online casino sites in the world.
its the good thing mate, having business here with so many competitor that offers
new games and other layer of bonuses yet the site still exist , having Ups and down but still working to go with the flow
of gambling in crypto.

Congratulations team.
1499  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bull season started? on: October 28, 2023, 05:08:43 AM
The recent surge in BTC to the $35k region has led many to believe that the bull market is back. Some analysts believe this is just the effect of historical October patterns, and we may see a significant pullback for accumulation and liquidity purposes before the bull season kicks off. I'm confused, which is why I'm here. What's your opinion, fellow traders?"

Even that we are on a market rally, I do not think I am confident that this is already the start of the bull season. Probably the bulls are just warming up as I can see this is some sort of a bull trap.
Only Newbie that will listen about this time is Bullrun because we as witnessed
of the past bull market , we have seen and understand that there are certain increase in market before the bull market
happened and soon will be followed by Bear market and really hard dumping happens before hand.

Quote
But the good thing is that the price stays within the range of $33.8k to $34.2k as of this time of writing.
well we are near closing October so usually time lime this are the one who will start
the small drops and then by December will followed by good pump before the end of the month stars its bear before
halving.
Quote
We also have to be prepared for some black swans to come in like there is a recent news about $4.55 billion worth of BTC and ETH options that is set to expire today.

That sounds bearish to me and might be going for a short position, but time will tell and we will see how long we could hang on to this price range.
that is a huge expiration so bearish is coming any time very soon then?
its good that I am ready for this kind of market changing as I still have good chunk in my holding.
1500  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is Bitcoin In Bullish or Bearish Trend? on: October 27, 2023, 08:20:30 AM
At the moment it's neither in a Bullish or Bearish Trend as the current gains we seeing from Bitcoin are a false positive that was caused by a rumour of the Bitcoin spot ETF being approved, but seems we still going with the flow as markets haven't backed down from this temporary momentum...but sooner or later I expect price to consolidate and reflect the real price of BTC. So if  you plan to buy try buy at a discounted price not a premium as price will retract before going up again.

So, what is your perspective: Do you believe we are currently in a bear market, or is this merely a manipulation to discourage some individuals from Bitcoin?

I would say its a bit of everything, though the manipulation stands out as this is what has lead to the bullishness after the fake news  Roll Eyes but it's good to see what to expect on e the approval comes in.

I agree with you. Though I got my dual investment ready to leverage the opportunity. We just hope this manipulation in Bitcoin will come to a minimal
You have got a best decision having dual investment to be ready in leveraging , and also this manipulation seems to be ending(if truly happening) but do you really think there is something that looks manipulating in our price now?

and Also if this is manipulation then I am thankful because I already earned something from my investment that happened because of this growth , 20% isn't than small for me to be thankful.

BTC has a positive trend on many time frames, you can tell when we start to have multiple alignments across time frames because we get positive action and spikes like has been occuring recently.  The simpliest way to view general positivity or not is the moving averages.  Both 200 day and 200 week are positive, it doesnt mean we cannot sell off but the general trend is towards accumulation or positive price ascent on the chart, we are still challenged in 2023 imo;  Im not expecting take off just yet but repeatedly we had demonstration of positive BTC.
but from your perspective , if I am to Buy low sell High , is this the time to sell now? before I buy back again in January or February next year.
