1481  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Trying to keep life savings more secured on: April 16, 2020, 02:45:06 PM
This is about coinomi wallet, I came across few posts on this forum saying they lose coins in coinomi wallet, some said coinomi wallet team insert a backdoor in the wallet to steal people's fund, how true is this?

Second question is, can you get me the list of open source wallet since coinomi wallet is closed source? What about trust wallet is it truly an open source wallet? Thanks
I'm using a Coinomi wallet before, I'm glad that I never experience that kind of glitches before, it is a very unfortunate incident to happen that some users are lost their crypto holdings without knowing it and because it's not their fault I believe that it should be compensated by the Coinomi wallet developer. since those incidents happened beyond their control. as of the moment, more online wallets out there were still vulnerable without knowing it.
1482  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Doom of the Stablecoin Industry? on: April 15, 2020, 12:45:53 PM
Thats it! the Central Banks are already threatened by the existence of Stable-coins. by the way, I'm not against the proliferation of those so-called Stable coins in the market. but it should be regulated strictly, in that case, we will be able to identify those Stable-coins that are not truly back by a stable asset like Fiat, or Gold. The Stablecoins should stay in the crypto market and remain as an option in the ever-changing cryptocurrency industry.
1483  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Speculation (Altcoins) / Re: Market stability is not ascertain. We might fall again on: April 15, 2020, 12:17:56 PM
Just keep believing don't lose hope, the storm will be ending soon, the cryptocurrency industry will survive no matter what happens, the only thing that can stop the proliferation of the cryptocurrency industry is to remove the Internet, sounds crazy but it is true. the world has already experienced many pandemics before and more deadly that COVID-19 but the world still survive undoubtedly. the world will win and the crypto industry will survive.
1484  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Cheating or Not? on: April 14, 2020, 01:27:41 PM
Cheating or NOT Cheating?

Coming from altcoinstalk forum I've experience few projects going against their own rules like saying on promotion page that no KYC will be required and after promotion ends they tell promoters to go and open account on an exchange and pass KYC, what can this be called? Cheating? Any consequences for such projects on this forum? Thank you.

It's true and it was the new norm in the most bounty campaigns today they can easily change the rules that favor's to them without the consideration of its participants for me that was cheating since they don't include it to the written rules, such as the "KYC" requirements because not all participants can provide KYC requirements, like Passport, Drivers license National ID, etc. in that case all of those sweat and effort will be wasted. the consequences are low but, if all the participants were united to a common goal it will surely affect and felt by the team who runs the project. but I believe some bounty campaigns are still honest and committed to their bounty participants.
1485  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Another Exchange got hacked on: April 14, 2020, 12:57:13 PM
Another crypto exchange got hacked and this time the victim is Bisq, a trading platform that has temporarily ceased all its trading services that unfortunately cost users at least $250,000 in digital funds, is there no year gone by withouth a crypto exchange getting hacked? This one weaks me, will this ever stop?
Most of the hacking incidents are very unfortunate and should be addressed accordingly. Honestly speaking I doubt some of those incidents, I don't know why but I have a bad feeling about it. I suspected that it was a planned attack from within. I'm not a hundred percent sure, but it is highly possible. for me, it is an eye-opener for all of us that we should not let our holdings stay longer in any exchange because it is not safe and also choose the reliable and trusted crypto-exchange platform that suited for our needs.
1486  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why is Telegram associated with fraudsters on: April 13, 2020, 12:04:37 PM
Scammers in Telegram, well, there are scammers without Telegram, just why position a beautiful creation like Telegram with scammers, Telegram is a multi-functional tool with the ability to create a bot and a lot of other functionality, but as the question comes to do something useful through Telegram, many say telegram and there are scammers.
You know mate scammers and fraudster are everywhere not just limited in Telegram there presence are felt in the social media, blogging and forum sites that exist today, such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, and many others. for that reason everyone must observe extra precaution while dealing any transaction involving crypto-currency in different social media, blogging and forum sites to avoid any problems.
1487  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Well Organized Scam Projects on: April 13, 2020, 11:30:58 AM
How can we safe ourselves from well organized scam projects? Some projects are so well crafted and in the end they scam people, to my own understand research doesn't help here at all, use case, whitepaper, team, every thing are so real and make sense, please give advice about this
I think you miss the important point here, personal research is helping a lot to identify and expose some of the fraudulent projects out there. because most of the shady projects are using fake information such us fake names, profiles, etc those scam bugs are so clever and they are afraid to get caught thats why they don't use their personal information. aside from making researched and checking all the information about the project your instinct can also help.
1488  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Crypto is not in healthy state yet on: April 12, 2020, 12:38:28 PM
More than half of the 2020 crypto conferences were either canceled or postponed due to the COVID-19 outbreak, while mining manufacturers had to stop the equipment production in China, how good is this for crypto?
It's true, it was understandable because we are on the brace of a Global Pandemic called COVID-19 it is useless to gather any crypto-related events without guarantee to make it successful because most people are afraid of getting infected and it was also prohibited to make gatherings to prevent more infection with the COVID-19 virus and its pretty obvious that the market is not yet in a healthy state as you mentioned.
1489  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: I am going to share my stretgy to all how to track the coin for best investment. on: April 12, 2020, 12:23:31 PM
Thanks for sharing your strategy, It's great to know that you have a plan before you make any investment particularly in crypto-currency because the crypto investment is not the usual thing compare to other investment options. thats because crypto volatility is high including the unpredictable market condition that reacts even in the slightest news that involving crypto-currency, the weird fluctuation of crypto-currency prices, etc. and because of that reasons sometimes even if you have a backup plan still things can go wrong thats how crypto-investment works so you better aware of it.
1490  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: BOUNTY PUNISHMENT, TASKS ARE TOO DEMANDING on: April 11, 2020, 04:04:39 PM
Masulum is one bounty manager that handles good projects without doubt and make due diligence in stakes calculations and he is always detailed to the later. Here is his profile link https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=1283017, he handled ShengWorld, SPYCE https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5231395.0  and others nice project. I have been trading SPYCE on BW before they had their bounty project. Nevertheless he seems to be too tough on his community who participates on his bounty program which is something not too good. For example, in his rules, he demands signature campaigners to make a minimum of 15post per week and a maximum of 3 post count per week, a good bitcointalker should be through with his post in 5 days at 3 per day, although if mode deletes one post at a dead hour without one been aware, one will loss reward for that week. And his social media campaigns like the Linkedin is 6 post per week and a maximum of 1 share per day, one really need to on a high alert in other not to work for free.  Some of my friends had to back out because of the strict and tasky rules, while some will have to lost their reward due tasky work.

I want you to share your experience working with this BM as regards the rules and task, do you equally think he should review his rules? I hope he sees this and read it. He is a good manager though who never fails to resolve issues and very detailed.

Hey, mate, I know what you are going through because I'm also experienced that feeling before. If the signature campaign rules and requirements are too much for you to handle. first, you should ask the Bounty manager about it. and after the bounty manager responds and still, you didn't agree in the rules and requirements then it is better to leave and do not join in that particular campaign or maybe the entire bounty campaign as well thats what i am doing and it is not hard to do since no one can force us if we join or not.
1491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Best IEO exchanges for new projects on: April 11, 2020, 03:41:06 PM
Hi, today I will like to make a list of exchanges that are good for IEO since few members already create posts about bad exchanges that's needed to be avoided at all costs, if you are a new developer this might be useful for you

1. Binance Launchpad
2. Okex jumpstart
3. Huobi Prime
4. Bittrex international
5. Kucoin
6. Gate.io
7. Bitmax
8. Bithumb

These exchanges has the best history of successful IEO projects, if you have any I will like to add to the list, bad exchanges need to be avoided at all cost
I think it's very obvious because all of those crypto exchanges that you mentioned are the top and well-known crypto exchanges in the industry. and there's no question about it. And I also believe that those crypto exchange is not accepting any useless and non-performing projects on their respective platforms to do an IEO campaign.
1492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is crypto.com investment legit and safe? on: April 10, 2020, 03:00:12 PM
I'm familiar with NEXO and Celsius. They are insured by Bitgo and are reputed financial paltforms.
But there's one more crypto.com that's been advertising a lot. They say to give you 8% interest of bitcoin deposits. It's much higher than on Celsius.
But my question is are they even legit? I haven't heard much about them like I did for NEXO and Celsius.
It's better to do your own research about the platform you want to ride or invest for better understanding. Comparing some opinions and information from others might be useful for reference purposes but for me, it is better to give any decision base on your own findings. so that if things go wrong at least you'll be the one to blame and not on others. well, 8% interest is not that big to compromise, but that was only my opinion.
1493  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do not blame it on Corona outbreak on: April 10, 2020, 02:29:10 PM
Alot of blogs and articles are referencing the facts that the present dip in prices is related to corona virus outbreak. But I do not believe so
I believe It's not just the virus, all these things were going to happen,
the virus just lit the match and acted as a catalyst
I don't get your point here" The virus just lit the match and acted as a catalyst" for me it's not! just look everywhere the world is experiencing a massive decline of economic activity and in terms of the price and value of stocks, including other commodities that we trade, most of the businesses are already suffering or even bankrupt globally? the world economy now was in the mode of recession and all of these were triggered by the COVID-19 pandemic and thats a fact.
1494  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Moving from erc20 tokens to Bitcoin on: April 09, 2020, 01:43:29 PM
I have an erc20 token (TRKC-Trakcoin) . . and want to reinvest in Bitcoin . . . do I have to sell the Trakcoin tokens first.  What's the path . .  Obvious novice here.

TrakCoin (TRKC . . . and Trakcoin Exchange (TKEX) . . are both at the address below.
https://www.google.com/search?q=trakcoin&tbm=isch&nfpr=1&rlz=1C1GGGE_enUS489US499&hl=en&ved=2ahUKEwiprr7a9NnoAhV7ATQIHUvMAMAQvgV6BAgBEEA&biw=1434&bih=683
I never heard about this coin/project (Trakcoin) is it already a listed coin/token? is it related to one listed in CMC called TRAK Invest (TRAK) if not, well it is not liquid yet so there's no way you can sell it and convert to Bitcoin (BTC), by the way, I can't judge you base only this information? I'm sure you know what you are doing so it is better to stay in that way. Good luck!
1495  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: The Best Project 2020, suddenly stopped! on: April 09, 2020, 01:30:33 PM
recently I saw the best prize projects in 2020 (INSURE) and tokens (SURE) already registered on the CoinmarketCap website.
- 1 SURE = $0.015725   Roll Eyes
but suddenly the project stopped for a reason??

How do you feel? especially for prize hunters who have participated in the Insure Project from the start?
why does a good project always end like this?
I believe in the coming month's many projects will be also shut down its operation and not just only the INSURE project. It was the effect of the COVID-19 pandemic in the cryptocurrency industry. most of the new projects are in a hard time raising some money to finance its operation and continue the development process, In these difficult times only the true and useful project will survive all of those scams and the fraudulent projects will not survive. that was my opinion.
1496  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Is USDT trusted to use? on: April 08, 2020, 12:19:34 PM
Currently, USDT daily trading volume is over the Bitcoin trading volume and fourth highest market cap according to Coinmarketcap. My opinion is We can't trust the centralized stable coin to keep the money. Also, news around the USDT is not good, and it may be shut down by the authorities.

What is your opinion about the USDT coin?

I use the DAI to keep the stable value & will shift to the SAI in the near future where the money I'm not investing.
I think there is a lot of stable coins out there to choose from and not just limited to USDT alone, so why we bother ourselves with it, but let's accept the fact that USDT is most used USdollar-backed stable coin in the market, so if you don't trust USDT, then you can pick other US dollar-backed stable coins like USDC, PAX, etc and even the Gold-backed stable coins if you wish. IMO, centralized or decentralized aspect is not a big deal to me as long as there is an option to choose.
1497  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: LEGALIZATION OR DARK ECONOMY??? on: April 08, 2020, 11:56:46 AM
After we launched banking, I often ask myself what the crypto community will choose: a dark turnover of cryptocurrency and a ban from different States, since this is not controlled, even the creation of a wallet OR controlled development , but at the same time a huge growth of cryptocurrency as we saw at the end of 2017!

Both options have their pros and cons!
I think you get it out of the context, the crypto economy is not a dark economy as you portrayed and why it should be banned when the crypto industry is giving us an option to choose other than fiat currency, let me clear this I'm not against with any cryptocurrency regulation and guidelines but it should be done through the cryptocurrency purposes, features and functions all of these should be present and intact. that was my only opinion!
1498  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: In what way can the crypto world help fight against Covid 19? on: April 07, 2020, 02:56:06 PM
Recently, TokenPocket has hosted a WeWearMask event to call on the community's joint effort in the fight against the Corona virus.
https://twitter.com/TokenPocket_TP/status/1246791435103293441
The participants will be prized with a  total of $2,300 and more. I think this is a good move to set up an example of how the crypto world can help to stop the virus. More projects should be doing this as well.
In my opinion, the best way for the crypto-industry players to help fight the COVID-19 pandemic is to donate any available resources to help buy, the necessary equipment and gears (PPE's) to our front-liners, as we can see on the news everywhere that the equipment (PPE's) shortage is happening around the globe if all the crypto-currency based companies were able to donate any available resources I'm sure it will help a lot for our fight against the COVID-19 pandemic.
1499  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Will stablecoins be the future of cryptocurrency? on: April 07, 2020, 02:43:47 PM
Everyday more and more payment providers accept stablecoins like USDT and USDC as payment. Will they be the future of crypto?

Yesterday PolisPay just added 3 stablecoins as payment for the first time.

https://twitter.com/PolisPayApp/status/1247319714130546689
Stablecoin as the future of cryptocurrency? I don't see it that way, but what I believe is that stable-coin and crypto-currency are both useful in the industry because it gives the market more liquidity and more choices like trading in different pairs such as USDT, DAI, etc stable-coin was created for a reason, purpose, and function to make the cryptocurrency industry more attractive.
1500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Do you really think news can change the Crypto Market Sentiment very easily? on: April 06, 2020, 01:44:27 PM
I believe that any news about the cryptocurrency industry has a significant effect on the crypto market, and it works on both sides whether it is good or bad news, it is already proven many times that cryptocurrency prices will fall after the event of any negative news will be published and cryptocurrency price will climb after the positive news about crypto will be published. in my opinion, the cryptocurrency, speculative nature is the main reason why most of the cryptocurrency prices will react to any news easily.
