Some one is mining.. may be solo.. no pools are running as of now. All recommended pools stopped in Feb itself! Seriously waiting to mine some. Are there any peer to peer mining pools?

Anyone mining at the moment, I can not get any nodes.
Have tried nodes listed, but I am not getting any connections.

I have that node in my conf file but still nothing..

It was working ok yesterday, then it just stopped.

I'm looking into it my friend. Smiley

Just have patience. Smiley

Thanks for effort, i don't know why mine is still not working and i can't find the unobtanium folder in application support.

Surely no one could have hacked my computer, uno is not that popular yet?

Not trying to give uno a bad name but i did put a bit of money in this and its not cool whats happening right now.

Even if so I still love Uno and I want help make it grow even if I've lost this money.

But we will see maybe its retrievable.

Take a deep breath my dear friend and calm down Smiley Wallets have no effect on the coins you hold , and the new OSX wallet has not yet been posted here , I believe you are using the old wallet  , your coins are safe despite the issue you are having , what you can do for the moment to be on the safe side is follow below.

1. Go To ~/Library/Application Support/Unobtanium/

2. Copy the entire folder or files on it including the wallet.dat to a safe location (Backup) - wallet.dat is all that you need to keep your coins safe

( I adviced you to copy the entire folder because , if you do not want to download the entire blockchain which can take quite sometime if you are trying to open the wallet somewhere else.)

3. You are good now.

4. Also download the new OSX client posted on the OP which should version 0.9.4 and run it it should work good.

Enjoy! Smiley

Hey guys, will there any problems if I still use the old client for now and keep updating the blockchain?

The blockchain is stucked on the old client mate , you'll have to switch to the new one to keep using GRW.

My Unobtanium allocation:

95%  off market

3%   available to trade on market

1%   buy product/service

1%   donations for UNO contributions

Good Allocations mate! Smiley

Old coins are void?

Dude what the fuck?

Did you have any use with those before they became void? or the Dev came around asking you those? Smiley
Oh and please be a bit more respectful ,  the old coins are not void , you have all the right to backup your wallet.dat (and use it anywhere with the old client) from the old failed launch where the Dev had 50 of 8 coins , 8 coin were suppose to be just 8 coins not 50 , why do you take your time to go through the previous threads before starting to go crazy and pointing fingers!

Thank you

Thank you, but I'm not pointing fingers.

Make a new coin, or fork the existing one.

Creating a new genesis block is just stupid.

As a developer, you should know that the coins in the genesis block weren't in anyone's hands LOL!!!

And I was in the original thread. Why don't you go through it, and you'll see that. Cheesy

But please, go ahead and try to relaunch this.  You should know all too well how successful coins of this nature are.

If you were in the original thread you might have better noticed that how fucked up the launch was? 50 coins of 8 with the Dev lol and whole accusations about it! It was on the same Genesis block it originally what are you going to do about the 50 coins lol? leave them with the Dev? What's the point of the coin if it was fucked from the beginning? You got better ideas? Name had to be cleaned. Anyway creating a new Genesis block was not my sole idea it was voted and majority voted in for it , where were you for the last entire month the vote was going on? And suddenly you pop up from no where my friend with a whole lot of issues , what's the point of this ?
And it's not funny please troll somewhere else I highly urge you.

~SoopY~

PS: Where were you when the Dev left just after the launch with 50 coins and 0.7 premine? lol I believe all your accusations should go to him , and guess what I'm unlike him I determined to get this on an exchange unlike the failed one and no one should be worried about the 50 coins he mined and dumping on an exchange when it hits there.

Damn, you're stupid.  I'm not trolling.

Looks like your "relaunch" is going just swell though LOL.

I popped up because I saw the thread for the first time...

It's not a big deal, the coin was never worth anything anyway.

Good luck.  No one cares about these low number coins anyway.

And don't bother replying.  I won't be back!  (YAYYYY)

Nah guess you were messing with me , relaunched it for the sake of it mate , just so it goes up in value mate , anyhow drop by when you are around.

Good Luck with everything you do!

Cheers! Smiley

Cute, new 'dev,' already asking for donations. Must be one of muddafudda or Shakezulu's sock-puppets.

lol! None of them. Smiley And you know nothing about me.

This idea has been presented before, but I can't get it out of my head: I think that it has a lot of merit. The Dogecoin developers were able to lift Doge from zero to #5 on Coinmarketcap in a couple of months through some very clever marketing. Unobtanium is a small local beer in Alabama: http://www.straighttoale.com/beer/unobtanium/ Do we have any marketing gurus among us?

Here is what I see:
  • A cross-promotional-campaign that transforms Unobtanium (the beer) from a small local beer to an international one.
  • A cross-promotional-campaign that transforms Unobtanium (the cryptocurrency) from a small Cryptocoin (#47 on Coinmarketcap to to atop 5 player on Coinmarketcap.

Ofcourse, beer lovers would be STRONGLY encouraged to buy Unobtanium with Unobtanium.

I called the owners of Straight to Ale a few months ago. They hadn't heard of Bitcoin, but they found the idea interesting. I am not in marketing, but perhaps someone with more experience could actually help make something like this happen. Perhaps if a few more of us in the community got involved, we could make this idea happen, or come up with a better one. Smiley

I think this idea should be a GO! And definetly a great one  , if we can partner up with the company and also run a promo with them should get us on a solid map to glory , thank you so very much for sharing your ideas my friend they are of greatest value.

Regards,
~SoopY~

Thanks Soopy. Hopefully, it will start a conversation.

OK, now back to the question.  How about some more random super blocks?

I'm looking to add some with the next update mate and also get this on an exchange and get things exiting.

1763

I was mining last night and it just stopped!

Okay can you run the miner again and see if you can find a block?

Seems to be working getting blocks showing up in the wallet.  What happened?

The seed node was down and the blockchain was stopped and I fixed it and it needed a block to be found for the out of sync to go away.

Happy Mining.
