Saw some exciting trade action on UNO this month: Low buys around 0045, and chance to sell at 0081. Fun stuff!

Do you know if I can use other currency wallets to receive my UNOs, or if I can send them directly to an exchange?

UNO is a unique coin, like all bitcoin clones, and can only be used with the UNO qt wallet, or unobtaniumd daemon, both of which can be downloaded from the OP (at least until alternate services exist, like an UNO android client, or electrum-uno client, they do not yet exist to my knowledge).

That being said, you should be able to transfer UNO from one exchange to another exchange without an issue. In that case you are relying on the exchanges that are running the unobtaniumd client on their end. Note that you are typically not in direct control of those exchange addresses, they are being handled by the exchanges. The only current addresses that are in your direct control at the moment are the UNO qt wallet (or if you have your own instance of unobtaniumd) and the paper wallets (which you cannot send from, you must import them into the UNO qt or unobtaniumd).

Take a deep breath my dear friend and calm down Wallets have no effect on the coins you hold , and the new OSX wallet has not yet been posted here , I believe you are using the old wallet , I have sent FallingKnife the wallet but he has not posted it on the OP , your coins are safe despite the issue you are having , what you can do for the moment to be on the safe side is follow below.

1. Go To ~/Library/Application Support/Unobtanium/

2. Copy the entire folder or files on it including the wallet.dat to a safe location (Backup) - wallet.dat is all that you need to keep your coins safe

( I adviced you to copy the entire folder because , if you do not want to download the entire blockchain which can take quite sometime if you are trying to open the wallet somewhere else.)


3. You are good now.

Re Fontas pumps... I really doubt the authenticity of that post. Anyone can post anything on Pastebin, and they do all the time, for whatever reason.

All that post proves is that someone has interest in UNO, and they want you to act on the information they posted. Anyone can take credit for a rise/fall of any coin, after the fact.

It would be interesting though, if someone has the capability, to identify the largest wallets in the UNO blockchain. I have no idea how to accomplish that, but if you do, I'd love to hear what you discover.

I'm running Uno 0.9.30  on Linux (compiled from old dev's github).  Do I need to upgrade to Uno 0.9.40?

I already have getnetworkhashps   and   1.01g   heartbleed openssl  fix.

Thanks for effort, i don't know why mine is still not working and i can't find the unobtanium folder in application support.

Surely no one could have hacked my computer, uno is not that popular yet?

Not trying to give uno a bad name but i did put a bit of money in this and its not cool whats happening right now.

Even if so I still love Uno and I want help make it grow even if I've lost this money.

But we will see maybe its retrievable.
