1481  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin donations no longer welcome on Wikipedia on: April 15, 2022, 05:34:15 PM
What’s the point here? I mean Wikipedia do not want to accept bitcoin as donations. I see nothing surprising on this statement. It’s their managements decision if they want to get donated with bitcoin or not? On the other hand we will always be discussing something which may not be first hand thinking of that management. For example, the management might have just discontinued bitcoin because it’s way volatile to maintain their treasuries and use it as and when required with decent amount left. Like on one fine day they may have 1 million in their pocket and on the following they may have 90k. May not be feasible to work up every time if that continue. (Just an example).
There is nothing serious about this. That’s why bitcoin is decentralised. You use it or you leave it, bitcoin does not care.

It has been a really long time since I had won the high reward. Today I won 4100 Satoshis and I can't tell you how happy I am.

Now the question is how did you spend them ;-)
I did not place any bet that week, I wait for next weekend for F1 GP and BTC price.

I haven't spent the amount yet. I am still holding it in my freebitco.in account.
I think I will either buy FUN tokens or use it for BTC/ETH price betting for this month.
I don't think there's any better way to use these coins. What do you guys think

Better not to spend it actually. You should keep accumulating these small amounts so that one day they can contribute to higher goals. In addition to this, the price of bitcoin is always incriminating so why to hurry and waste those satoshi for small fiat or even go loose on race if prediction goes wrong. Definitely risks can bring you more money but holding will bring more.

In addition to this with 4K satoshi you also eligible for the interest under Earn Btc tab so also keep an eye on that. Who knows if you get 4-5 such wins you could end up with 16k easily alongside RP too.
1483  Economy / Economics / Re: Elon Musk makes offer to buy Twitter on: April 15, 2022, 10:49:03 AM
I think Elon should not be buying Twitter. Honestly it is not his business line. Yes I understand that he is billionaire and he could do any dam thing he wants to do. It’s not big deal for him to buy twitter considering twitter is valued at $36 bln while Elon holds 10% shares meaning he gets that much discount instantly.

However, it would really put Twitter share market value at risk. His mind only works best in tech stuff, and in crypto space he would definitely look after DOGE. But assuming the history, lot of people have lost money due to Elons act of doge tweets! Rest we know how everyone will react.
1484  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Getting more skills in trading on: April 14, 2022, 05:08:03 PM
You should be updating this thread most often so that fellow members can understand what are your actually learning’s. I read OP but there seems big pause in the next update. If you taking the classes for trading then you could just come here and Update the thread with everyday learning’s. Adding example is always best thing to do. For example, few trades of your own which you done in demo mode and had success by using the technical analysis that you learnt in the class. There are many threads though which been made for TA and FA studies. Hope you will do the same.

You noticed that too, maybe because every day there are many new registrants who are actively playing and also many old users who are not active so that weekly lottery winners are filled by users with millions of IDs, but there are also IDs under millions but very rarely.

only 7 and the win chance is very low, but the chance to win the lambo is still there.

I think those are just lottery tickets man. They are not Golden tickets. Winning lambo is one in million case. I am not sure but I highly doubt if we can win it so easily. I think those who win are just most luckiest people in the world. I have seen past records and people have invested heavily in buying the GT but those who barely had few tickets have won the lambo. For me it’s more or less heart attack if I go and buy 100 tickets and don’t win. Lolz. That’s like quarters part time salary man. I will have to drop out of college. Not taking that risk.  Lolz.
1486  Economy / Economics / Re: Is crypto the final stage in the evolution of money? on: April 14, 2022, 12:26:12 PM
Who knows any crazy type of money format could come into future. For example, by that time neuralink project is completed and approved by WHO and we are using them. Through this we could simply transfer the money with blink of an eye. I don’t remember the movie or I think it’s from one of the episodes of Dr. Who where they visit timeline and everyone is just talking about digital chips which are transferred with hand to hand connection.
World is crazy man we can not deny such facts. Money can be in form and shape size. You never know!
1487  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Are your coins really safe stored in your wallet? on: April 14, 2022, 09:33:09 AM
First of all note that your bitcoin is not stored in your wallet. Your coins are stored in the blockchain.
The blokchain is shared between many people and there are thousands of full nodes that validate transactions. In bitcoin we are not dealing with a centralized party.

Your wallet only stores your keys and you use them for making transactions. As long as these keys are kept safe, no one can have access to your bitcoin.

Pretty simple answer and easy to understand. If the coins were on our devices then I’m pretty sure it would have been possible to hack the wallet and take out those coins. Because at some point there would have been some sort of file that will be stored on the device to recover the number of coin information. Moreover, if there was saving of our coins on the devices then blockchain technology would have been little different than the current one. Because imagine that device getting disconnected from the internet, then how would blockchain node would know about those coins? So it’s just keys and phrase.
1488  Economy / Economics / Re: How to end dependence on russian gas? Heat pumps, electric heaters, alt fuels? on: April 12, 2022, 08:28:23 AM
If our Government take the data into consideration then it would become way cheaper to set up tidal energy projects, windmills, and averagely efficient solar panel based on the geography.

They should subsidies and let every house give the solar panel and one windmill (for space free towns), and create their own energy hubs. That means one two one electricity generating sub station. This way Government can huge money back as they will be having only set up cost and maintenance as the lifetime challenge.

I mean like

((Green Energy Power Station - TOWN-1)). -----Powering---- ((TOWN-1))
((Green Energy Power Station - TOWN-2)). -----Powering---- ((TOWN-2))
....
........((TOWN-x)

We can have self sustaining and fossil free  ecosystem with this. I think, initially it will cost major amount of investment however, with the time that will surely pay off.

To overcome the challenges of natural calamities, power down due to low wind speed, low sunlight, one main station can power up the towns for temporary timings.

With a great plan this could be future.
1489  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Bear market every team will pump their own coin on: April 12, 2022, 08:04:04 AM
If they going to pump it then that would be for their benefit and not for the others. For example, a project with few developers might just send out some development out in the market just cause some hyper news about it. Next, what people will think? Well if the team themselves are making good publicity of the roadmap then the coin might get pumped and they start buying a lot. However, team already has huge amount of coins in their possession which they can later sell off at high cost and pull the money into their wallets. These sort of thing might be happening with so many coins out their and intentions of everybody must be at peak like this. Since its all about money! You know its like, they share a little but get huge back.
1490  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Long Term Holders - When Do You Plan To Cash Out? on: April 12, 2022, 06:04:02 AM
Haven’t set any goal yet. I'll let my bitcoin hold untill i get satisfied. During bear attack of 2017, i dumped large percentage of bitcoin and still regrating for that unexpected incident. After that i keep adding bitcoin in my portfolio as much i can. Currently i don't have hurray for cash out. If any super worst situation come in my life, i would choice to loan or borrow fiat then but don't want to repeat same mistake again.

That is the most challenging situation in bitcoin hodling. I have tried to hold through many bulls but as a emotion always ended up selling off most of the amount. Though I always bought more amount of bitcoin in the next batch averaging just enough as to not loose the profits overtime. So I’m satisfied and still hold little extra than what I had earlier. However, with volatility increasing at an alarming rate, my emotions are also way volatile these days. Lolz. Hope so I will get through this bear and will be selling when we cross another ATH. (I mean higher than the previous one)
1491  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How do i market my old clips on: April 12, 2022, 02:52:42 AM
Today’s market is all about buzz and how viral particular art, clip, pics, insta reel or whatever it may be. I have seen the selfie guy who literally became millionaire by just uploading his face since few years. So what can we say about that? Do you really think that there art in it or is it worth NFTing stuff?

The only point when he broke the internet was the time when social media made buzz about it, made it go viral.

These days it’s more or less what can entertain people and investors rather than sophisticated brush strokes on the leather canvas mate!

So simply - Create buzz, media, go viral. (Instagram, Twitter, Facebook could be starting point).
1492  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which alternative smart contract platform is best? on: April 11, 2022, 05:47:34 PM
Which alternative smart contract platform do you think is the best? Is it Polygon, BNB, Cardano, or Solana? Do you think the market is saturated with too many smart contract platforms? Or is there still room for growth? Will Ethereum remain as the "King of "De-Fi"" for long? Your input will greatly appreciated. Thank you very much.

Thats the point, market is saturated a lot with so many smart contracts and its getting harder day by day to choose the ideal one. However, one can always have filtering process in such situation. This is really needed these days because crypto space is changing, upgrading and as we getting more knowledge about it people are developing whole new dimensions into it. So that particular filter has to be there. For example, if it is choosing a coin then choose the valuable, long lasting, good backing of project etc. If it is contract then choose the viable option based on the wallets, sending and receiving capabilities, availability of the buyer and seller on those particular contracts. This way many option can be ruled out. There is gas fee, speed of transaction and many other factors to choose from. In my opinion this has to be personal experience then only we could get right choice.
1493  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Most effective to move coins or have impact on price on: April 11, 2022, 10:50:20 AM
Maybe most effective way are the way that coin will be bought by different groups for example:
1 group buys with 3$
So to keep price level up other group buys when price 5$
And third group of people buys 6-7$

This won’t work. Firstly crypto is very volatile and that comes due to free will of buying and selling with any amount possible.
If you think one group is still going to hold until prices reach to 6-7 bucks then that’s misconception of yours. If someone bought the shitcoin and see the prices souring up to 5 bucks then they have already made around 60-70% of their holding so they will immediately start selling. The price will never cross 5 bucks in theory.

To move the market, you will need huge research on the market cap situation of that shitcoin. How much is being held, demand and on going supply.

Just like what @pooya87 said above.

You're praising USDT a bit too much as if it doesn't have all the problems that it has. You do realize that USDT is just slightly better just because it's tokenized? Because the authorities can just order Tether(the company) to freeze USDT on your wallet if they wanted to, just as how your local bank can freeze your funds.

It has to be person hand who does it not computer Smiley
For me it means someone took my money.
If my local bank freezes my funds i take it as its stealing
Its stealing if i put my money in one place then its not there later then its stolen if we allow this things its anarchy anyone say to me i just took ur money then my next answrre is good punch to face and then asking double ammount what was taken Smiley
My friends dont argue they just use hands and after will be reinburse and apoligize world is small and if you own money u cant hide for ever.
Every business every banks and corporations have the owners and addreses locations of offices

Thief can only steal from soft people when they see tough guys they pay them fast and its not problem for them pay look from how many people they steal for they relax time no problem they will from other soft people money its always like this.

Think men u lose like 100k+ and u dont do nothing??
Sure real person will do find who stole and he pay double thats rule in life double from thief

Dude, that is not called as stealing, that’s called as imposing court orders on your wallet or anyone whose in the possession of USDT for example.

You do understand what federal restriction mean right? Moreover they are able to do this because tether is not decentralised which means the company is properly under regulation and surveillance of feds. If they see a stone with fowl activity they gonna turn it on the company at any time. That’s why USDT is little bit shaky coin.

If you really care much about it then you can simply put money in your bank account for your safety.

cryptospace cannot sell their coins for fiat might occur hehehe.

Good God, I hope that never happens. The lady is just confused I guess.  Just like those millions out there who are not able to decide in between whether they should buy it or leave it. Just being rich does not mean they are smart investors, the richness could be hereditary. Lolz. But smartness needs to be obtained.

She is wat far from home when she speaks like that about bitcoin. She is not the first anyways, we have Buffet too. Many millionaires and billionaires say one thing but do another. Could be one of the market manipulation tricks.

For instance, this lady might have some hidden investment which she wants to grow and that’s why she started making positive news about it. Could be anything from A to Z.

Sorry, I believe this issue was already commented some time ago on this thread, but I don't remember exactly how it ended being the solution, neither the page where it was discussed.

I opened one of the free wheel spins received through email, but captcha is stucked and doesn't work: ERROR for site owner: invalid site key.

Closed and opened the link again few times, and the same message displays.

Can I still use this spin somehow, or is it lost due to this error?

Just do over.
Go to the push email you received and click again. The WOF is not invalid unless it is played. This happened with me once and everything was all ok after I clicked the banner again.

I hope you are not just opening the link by copying and pasting it. Click the banner itself.

OR, it might be possible you clicking the 48 hours and older email WOF?

Every WOF that you receive from an email is valid up to 48 hours only.

(Or try opening the link within incognito mode).
1497  Economy / Economics / Re: Gold , Silver Or Crypto? on: April 10, 2022, 06:13:22 PM
Many financial advisors suggest gold , silver and cryptocurrencies as the best investment for this decade! what do you think?

Gold and silver are most commonly referred to as precious metals, so there is no need to label them in binary as "gold" and "silver" because the price movements of both assets are mostly correlated.

Very well explained. Right to the point. Truly it’s worthless to compare these three together. If op really want to compare then just compare it with fiat because that is the closet type of asset which we see into bitcoin. There are still many people who do not consider bitcoin as current and neither many consider it as asset. The thing is vice versa is another dimensional truth.

This is why many times people compare bitcoin with gold as store value or something like an asset for long keeping. But hodling Bitcoin is another chapter in crypto space which is purely based on its limited supply etc.

So gold is gold, it’s physical, lucid, and people Love to wear it.
1498  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: There too much information about btc on: April 10, 2022, 05:00:00 PM
Whether it is crypto, fiat, metal, burning wood, bad testing cheese, guess what there is always FUD and there is always media coverage for the same. This is world where bad things might be posed as good ones and vice Vera just to get the publicity.

So when you say it’s too much about bitcoin and if it’s negative then I’m sure bitcoin is doing great job. Because there are so many enemies (government, banks, billionaires) who always hate it for giving the freedom to investors around the world. It’s but obvious that it will get paid for negative publicity all the time. However it doesn’t seem bitcoin had any problems even after that. So we are all still cool.
1499  Economy / Gambling / Re: Roobet.com | Crypto’s Fastest Growing Casino 🦘 on: April 09, 2022, 03:20:34 PM
I saw a lot of complain recently on Roobet and some of them are still left unaddressed, though it just look like a haters post and maybe the best way to solve the problem is to communicate directly with the site support. Gamblers are usually restricted for some valid reason and the site will always play by the books, so better to understand the terms before you gamble, the site has the authority to change it for the benefit of both gamblers and the investors.

It is possible that those "left unaddressed" do not show enough proof, or had been addressed by Roobet and was already solved privately and the posters never or forget to come back after the problem is solved.  Most people that have issue just came to post their problem or frustration and when everything is settled they just leave and never bothers to come back to say it is settled.
This is a new trend where someone is trying to ruin the reputation of other site and when they get the answer they will still push their claims. There’s no perfect site, they are all prone to problems like this and I believe in Roobet everything is handle professionally and they are really serious on their platform. If you have a concrete evidence talk to their support first before panicking.

Lot of complaints about Roobet? Man, this is one of the Casino's who is community lover and giver kinda casino. Have you seen art contests, twitch competitions, millions in give aways and more? Do you really think any random, spammy casino would ever think of doing this? No, because those casino's would be stealing rather than giving back! As far as I know Roobet has always smoothly paid me, my experience with their slots and games is just as perfect as I could imagine.

The complaints will comes from those users who has lost money in the process of gambling. But they do this in the rage afterwards and blame casino. However, casino is something you should not look at earning method but more or less fun and earn!
1500  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Danger awaits Metaverse coins on: April 09, 2022, 12:41:21 PM
Come to think of it, there is no metaverse project that's completed yet, they are all hanging on to their BETA self, if the bear market comes hard this time around I think metaverse coins will dip so much that the hype won't be no more until a project finally have a complete metaverse tech in action.

Why just Metaverse, we can pretty much say that about all the technologies in the crypto space.
Whether it be NFTs, Dapps, DeFis etc... Every platform will have an impact on it and will face the dump.
But I think that now since the market is recovering a little we might not see the bear trend we were anticipating.
If things keep going like this then may be in the next 2-3 months we might get back to the 60k range.

I wish that becomes truth of new world. Right now things are solely based on the war, which is worsening day by day. Its not like the war is happening at one end and we can just ignore it, but its more or less different sanctions on Russia, and then disturbed import export of raw materials.

On the bright side crypto does not seem to be shocked that much. The prices are really soaring up right now and we already broke one resistance for bitcoin. Matter of fact, most of the altcoins follow the footprints of bitcoin and move and down all the time. So for now everything seems under control.

Metaverse, well people went too far in its name. I think NFT's still hold the market in side crypto space, but meta is just too far and its getting developed at wrong timing too.
