At Wex (formerly BTC-E) BTC price touched $9,000 totday. Someone recognising true potential?

The chart shown still reflects a small rally into July but I more and more get the feeling that it could be just choppy sideways or even down in July  This 'rally' is hardly convincing.

Because of MadMac, I know this project is still alive and kicking.

It seems likely that the triangle will be broken upwards just like in April for a short July rally. But it aint no summer yet.

My take on the current state affairs.

Looking at the subdued bounce upwards, I would consider reaching $8,000 in this snap back rally already quite a stretch. But July will probably be moderately bullish.

$19k was just ‘elevated’. I was awaiting ‘frenzy’ at $50k. But someone pulled the plug early.

Its a struggle to keep up the daily volume in this slow period. At least they are continuously adding new features/coins to the exchange. Not something that moves the COSS price but a catalyst once the crypto bull market resumes.

I just copied the new files replacing the existing files. Runs fine and no need to set up the masternode again.

In fact, all currency is unstable. But to a varying decree. Once crypto has grown bigger than its current 1993-Internet-like state, a form of price stability can be expected that matches bigger fiat currencies. At much higher prices of course.

In fact, Bitcoin volatility right now can be regarded as less than some fiat currency brothers. Of course, these fiat brothers are the worst in town at the moment but it proofs that fiat currencies are not necessarily stable either. When looking at day to day fluctuations, Bitcoin often has more stable days than major currencies. It is all about scale.

I am enjoying every minute of the ride 

I see a tendency of the best progress from a development perspective happening during times that the markets are slow (let’s call it bear markets  ). Winning projects use the slow times to move ahead and do the necessary work, ignoring the coin price. The better they emerge in the next upwards cycle, stronger than ever.

From a helicopter perspective, Blockchain tech still seems not to have matured in two aspects: scalability and privacy. DeepOnion can contribute to the latter, still making it a very interesting proposition. It is basically a steal right now.

I want these. Makes great conversation with people asking what the figures are all about.

Do I understand you correctly that it will have the same ‘performance’ as Gold the last 5 years

It is working stable for me for a few days already. For the rest it is much the same as the 2.1 version (including the UI/layout). And that's a good thing.
