1481  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: taking out a loan for a sports bet (UPDATE) + fixed match on: July 31, 2022, 11:50:25 PM
Through this win the insider information seems to be legit. However we don't know whether it is an insider information or a prediction of OP which have won out of coincidence. OP have risked his money and have won good. Even if this bet have lost, this could've been a problem within him. If not, he used to answer each and everyone who paid getting a loan. So, it is something risky and people won't easily believe in it.

Is that how easy you believed that the inside information is legit because it was won? It's just a single bet. What if that match is just played as usual and the pick given to that game does make sense to happen? A total game rigged is where the result is not expected.

We should not care about OP's intention to have a loan since, in the first place, he just even feels regret for not taking a loan because the bet won.

If he has a mindset like that, we are just wasting our time here giving good advice to him.
1482  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Gambling in Moderation, Pros can out weigh its Cons in Financial and Health? on: July 31, 2022, 11:46:35 PM
gamblers who lack control usually always want to get high wins and as a result he loses a lot of money, self-control issues are the most crucial for anyone who enjoys gambling activities including myself.

When these gamblers won, that fuels their excitement to bet more. It's a great winning experience for them.

Therefore, even if they win or lose, they will still end up not controlling themselves.

Those who win big already are even most prone to ending up worst since they know already the feeling of having a big win and they will continue to pursue it no matter what. Unlike those gamblers who will always lose that budget are limited.
1483  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Fernando Martinez vs Jerwin Ancajas rematch - Oct.8 on: July 31, 2022, 11:43:34 PM
There was a rematch clause in the contract if Jerwin lost. After the fight, I wanted Jerwin to activate the rematch clause right away. But after the fight, Jerwin's camp already mentioned not to exercise the rematch clause because they needed to move up in weight. So this is surprising to me, but I am happy.

Thanks for the information as I'm surprised too that a rematch was negotiated right away.

However, is Ancajas really ready for this rematch? I don't know what kind of adjustment he will do but I will trust his camp to do their very best to make Ancajas fit and 100% prepared for this rematch. They should learn from the first fight.

Ancajas should also not think that he needs to win because PH has not many active champions currently. He should focus on winning not for that purpose.
1484  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 30, 2022, 11:53:48 PM
Of course, we know what Ginebra is capable of, and that's what they did in game 2. And for sure majority here doesn't see that they are going to be eliminated. But they rise to the occasion again. So they will be the favorite in game 3 with the ML or even a handicap is not that bad to bet on them. And this is going to be another close game but maybe Ginebra has still something with them and win the decider.

But believed me, some of Ginebra fans are worried on that game. Meralco is keeping with the phase with Ginebra the whole game and there are lots of exchange leads. It's just that they fell short but overall, their game against Ginebra is a close one. This is a good series so far where both teams are almost equal and it now depends on players if they will have a bad night or not.

On other game, I was surprised and stunned by NLEX performance last game. Even there are rumors that Magnolia just give way for another ticket sales the next game lol we see that NLEX really did their best. I just don't know if the same playing level will be shown by them in their do-or-die game.
1485  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 30, 2022, 11:49:05 PM
And as what we have been discussing for the past couple of days, maybe there were points that already been agree, like the purse split, Spence getting the big share as he is the A side on this fight because of his PPV numbers in his recent fight, or maybe the venue has been agreed upon.

So let's still remain positive that time fight or at least the negotiations are still alive as per Showtime and they are working to have this fight made.

Seems like a good news. It's just that we are not patiently waiting for updates. Cheesy

That's also the thing in my mind before that purse split shouldn't supposed to be the big hindrance why this fight should not happen. There might be other things that needs to be settled properly and they are not rushing those things. Once done, an announcement will be made, of course.

Maybe in the next several weeks, we can now have more official updates regarding this fight.
1486  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Boxing Speculation, Odds and Predictions on: July 30, 2022, 11:45:47 PM
Anyone knows why the IBO flyweight title becomes vacant prior Dave Apolinario gets it? Who's the champion before?

Maybe it's more better if he snatch the title thru a title defense match where he is the challenger and will face against a champion. Either way, a win is a win and he shows fierce on that match  although his opponent is far from his prime already.

Anyone who also have the idea about upcoming fights involving PH boxers? Do we have upcoming titles match? Or those previously PH champions that recently lose on their respective match this year will need to start from the bottom and climb up ranks?
1487  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Canelo vs Golovkin 3 - September 17 on: July 30, 2022, 11:38:32 PM
What I mean is that Canelo had to defeat GGG in the first  half of the fight otherwise its him that is going to be in trouble because GGG seem to be getting better when the fight last longer. But we'll if his age is not making Golov rusty.

Not sure about that strong stamina in the later rounds for GGG and he's turning better at late rounds? Is that what you trying to say? Remember that he's up against a prime Canelo and containing him at every rounds needs a lots more and better stamina. GGG's stamina is surely not the same now compare to his prime. He's already at the retirement period of his career so expect some signs that he showed before won't be seen now on this match.

However, since GGG makes and force Canelo shows his limits, we can assume that he can last longer on this fight. I just don't want the fight will end up in Decision as the cash cow king will surely the victorious and that's Canelo unless the fight is clearly being dominated by GGG.
1488  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: This clearly damage the gambling. on: July 30, 2022, 11:30:28 PM
True that, because we trust the booking company but once the match-fixing is exposed and knew that the game was rigged, would we ever bet again with peace of mind?

Why it shouldn't affect your peace of mind when doing bets? There are lots of reputable big leagues around you can choose from. I can't believed that for just a single or few case, it will broke your spirit on doing sports betting? If there's a confirmed rigged for sure bookies will now delist all matches there until everything was resolved and taken action.

Again, there are lot of big sports leagues around where rigging the game or fixed match don't happened at most of cases. It shouldn't affect your sports betting experience even you mistakenly placed a bet in a supposed rigged match. Just continue to do your usual betting and enjoy the game.
1489  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Looking to start an online casino on: July 30, 2022, 11:25:58 PM
running and operating a casino or gambling site is no easy feat. this is not for all. aside from all those backbreaking requirements, you should be prepared with enough bankroll to get going. i hope people are thinking hard before jumping on this business. it is no easy peasy to maintain this business also. this is why if you are just half-hearted on this, better not involve yourself on this endeavour.

I think at most of the cases, gambling owners wannabe are doing their respective homeworks on what are the important things to take note prior oponing a gambling site. For site's bankroll, surely they are prepared for it as there are big whales that might come to the site. Aside from that, they will make sure everything is good before going live.

That's the reason why OP created this thread, to feed the mind with knowledge as maybe there are people that might encounter this thread who really knows how running the gambling sites works or related fields. OP seems to really have a good knowledge about coding and what he needs is those who will backed him on how to integrate his idea to them.
1490  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What do you guys think is the best crypto signals group on Telegram? on: July 29, 2022, 11:59:30 PM
What do you guys think is the best crypto signals group on Telegram?

None. All signals are just a product of the owner of the channel. Mostly don't even have an explanation just for educational purposes.

But not saying you can't refer to those signals. If there's no money involved like a paid subscription, you can test if those signals are somehow accurate but don't be carried away that you will assume that group is the best.

Crypto is heavily volatile. Signals are meant to be broken in most cases. Try to build experience in trading so you don't have to refer at any signal groups.
1491  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rise of Streamers in Online Gambling on: July 29, 2022, 11:59:11 PM
Can we trust those streamers of gambling exactly?
Some of them may be paid by the gambling platforms. That s why sometimes it may not be as we expect about the result. I saw several times how easy they are when they are winning the gambling on some certain platforms and they could get big earning or rewards from the gambling platform. But, in this case, we may not be able to do it by ourselves. Is it related to the codnition in which most of streamers are paid by certain gambling platform to advertsie their platfomr actually?

Trust is a big thing. It's good to just watch them NOT for the purpose that you will believe that something magical or lucky moment will happen to you too the same as those streamers whenever they hit a jackpot, won big, always hit big multipliers, and so on.

Just enjoy the show. You don't need to follow the exact thing that streamers do. They do it obviously for their own content as part of their page or video monetization or might be they are partnered with the gambling site. Aside from that, we should all have that mindset whether to understand what we are watching is either trash or not.
1492  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Good idea how to make profit on: July 29, 2022, 11:57:34 PM
So if grayscale is one of tge biggest whale they know when and how market moves.
Then lets collect money and pay them and other big whales to give us correct info
I think if we pay them each month 500,000$ that will do

Sounds simple, isn't it? They won't even bother to listen as they are focused only on their own business. They don't have time to deal with other traders to give a paid signal or information. These whales are not that dumb to just sell their information where they put an effort into where they are standing right now.

Besides, why pay them if you can learn from yourself? Don't rely on predictions made by others as they have their own way of why they made that.

Learn how to trade. Don't complicate things too much. Your plan is not even realistic.
1493  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Boxing] Crawford vs Spence on: July 28, 2022, 11:59:33 PM
But yes, your figures are quite likely in this fight because Spence Jr. is alone already averaging 400k-500k PPV buys. How much more if Crawford is added in the equation.

Spence being the PPV king, no doubt he will gather more viewers here. He is also against a top name, the current top welterweight fighter Terence Crawford and that will boost their PPV views if ever this fight will officially happen for real. Spence always has impressive PPV buys regardless of his opponent making it more possible to think that if it's against Crawford, the figures will really be big and might be put on the greatest PPV sales in the history of boxing.

I hope that this fight will happen for real and don't let their fans hang for long. It's now years since this fight was in talks and time now to make it happen.
1494  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rise of Streamers in Online Gambling on: July 28, 2022, 11:56:49 PM
Drake's stream was really on the higher level.

He is betting over a thousand dollars at those games he selected and the winnings are truly amazing that every viewer will really have a mindset to feel the same experience. His influence really gives Stake wonderful exposure.

I was able to watch one of his streams and the amount he is wagering is damn out of human capability at most lol. Don't know if it's covered by Stake but surely before his partnership, he is really a hard gambler who spend big money on his gambling activity.
1495  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2023 NBA Season on: July 28, 2022, 11:54:05 PM
What was the best NBA gambling win of your lifetime?

I will never forget this.

In the 2016 NBA Finals where I placed a bet for the Cleveland Cavaliers prior to the start of the Finals and add another risky bet when they downed by 3-1 by the Golden State Warriors. I extend my bet since I already face the risks and hope that miracle will happen lol.

Believe me, only a few will risk betting for a team that is downed by 3-1 in the Finals. If I remember it right, the odds for Cavaliers was @7 that time.

The bet took place in Directbet, one of the popular sports betting sites here.
1496  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The characteristics of people who are addicted to online gambling on: July 28, 2022, 11:47:23 PM
I agree with you. A gambling addiction can damage common sense. A gambler is so engrossed in gambling that he does not even understand what is good for him. I think controlling oneself is the biggest challenge in gambling. I was addicted to gambling once a time but now I am quite successful from it. I gamble now but it is under my control.

But if that challenge were successfully done by the gambler, then it's a big help.

It's not that they should stop gambling completely as that was a hard thing to do. Gamblers, even how addicted they are can still remain responsible. It's hard to experience big loss and it really affects our mental health but there's no one who can help these gamblers to move on but only themselves.

A hard and long process to become responsible but a necessary thing to do when it comes to gambling.
1497  Economy / Gambling / Re: BetInsider - Free Tips and Predictions on: July 26, 2022, 12:41:19 AM
Something like a subscription in Telegram just makes me think that it's about increasing the numbers of followers on your channel then eventually will abandon it, selling it, putting a paid subscription in the future after establishing a good winning rate, or something like that.

Not saying it will be the case for you but while doing that on Telegram and if you don't mind, you can also add and shared your picks here on daily basis for users to see your winning rate. It will just take a few seconds of posting.

Anyways, welcome to the forum.
1498  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: 2020 Philippine Basketball Association betting discussion on: July 26, 2022, 12:09:33 AM
What a surprising outcome between the Ginebra and Meralco.

Will Ginebra be able to bounce back after that big loss? I think I'm going to bet on them all the way, if they will be a slight underdog, I don't mind taking the ML line. Do we have the advance line available already?

Tenorio being scoreless, I think that will not happen. if only there's a player prop in the PBA, I would definitely put a bet.

They should. They will be sent home if they will not do their best next game. Meralco on the other hand will be sent home too if they allow Ginebra to take over. The next game is important for both teams. That's the pressure in the quarterfinals, a win is a must. Compare to semis, where a win is a must too but in case of loss, there's still more chance to bounce back.

Meralco will be on hype if they eliminate the crowd favorite Ginebra. They will force to do it no matter what even referees will stand in their way lol.
