If you wanna minimize all risks involved you should only invest in already released and traded (on good exchanges) altcoins, with high market cap. All other coins may give you high returns but in the end all of them are very high risk.
I think that there is no need to reinvent the wheel. As a rule, each exchange exposes rating coins in the first place. Therefore, if you look at the top ten, it will be a very good choice for investment. |

I don't see any point of buying TRX at its current price. Had you thought about this almost a month ago, you would have recovered almost 50% of your losses. This coin was heavily pumped and even during crisis it was the only coin to be green. I think you have already missed out on a golden opportunity to recover your money from this coin. If you want to cut your losses, you should look for a different currency now. TRX is not going to be of much help.

Hello, Can somebody explain how to decide buying an altcoin? Let me write what I know; - Check the coinmarketcap.com and choose ones with high volume
- Check the projects
- Check the chart, if it is pumped, don't buy, wait
- Check the chart, if it is dumping, wait low volatility
Please correct and/or add other ideas to help noob traders like me  I will try to give merits to good posts as much as I can. Thanks. Altcoins have different price behaviour so it might not help to just rely on those you mentioned above. Checking also the chart won't help especially in altcoins as they are more proned to manipulation than bitcoin. Some coins also are not yet listed on the coinmarketcap.com So how to deal with this? You must have guts to face the risks. As long as you understand the risks, you are good to go. One step you can consider is if there's any ANN thread related to that certain coin. Upcoming updates for a certain coin might result on a hype. Also don't get carried away once there is a sudden large pump as instead of getting profits, you will be wrecked. Honestly there is no direct advice that literally you will try. You must find your winning stratgey by your own as we have different approach on when to buy or to sell. I think that the only strategy that can be applied by both a professional and a novice is the date of a price fluctuation of plus and minus 5; 10%. But this applies only to the case when the trader is trying to make money on the difference in price. |

If I think personally, day trading is better than holding BTC. Although we get a little profit but by using day trading system we can get profit every day. I don’t think so that leaving of the college or your studies for the sake of bitcoin is a very good thing to do and that you need not to tale such kind of steps in your life as you will then be having lot of difficulties as well.
It only means that we should prioritize both since I guess both is important. We need bitcoin to sustain our needs either a family or your self needs and also finishing college is important as a self satisfaction and also as a permit to the growing high technology of our world which is a good educational background is very relevant.
