Truly amazing work.  Thank you for all the hard work and time, it really shows in project!
14822  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 10, 2013, 01:23:33 AM
As you all know we are NOT designing the board or the software. We are just following BKKcoins. He just got his board working yesterday, and we are just following his footsteps.

If just following in footsteps how are you able to predict such a precise delivery date?

Are u able to post that Video TH? Or the proof of additional chips you said you secured?
14823  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Mining Rig/Hi-performace machine on: July 10, 2013, 01:22:10 AM
I would not spend that amount of cash for a GPU rig right now, save your money and either buy BTC directly through something like coinbase or buy into a asic group buy or buy 10 or mh/s equiv of usb miners.

What about alt mining?
Based on the calculator with 1300 kh/s I would make about $1300 a year, LTC mining.
So about 3 years to get an ROI with LTC.

Alt mining may be more profitable

Your not taking into consideration the cost of running that rig (figure at least $100.00 per month in electricity for 6 GPU's) or the increase in difficulty (whatever the crypto currency of choice is) when all of the current GPU rigs/farms move to LTC when ever the hell our ASIC's get to us in the next 2-5 months.

Wow, $100 in electricity...

And i don't think that PSU will work for all unless u do undervolt.  So you most likely will need dual power supplies.

Just got back from the dentist and look what the friendly folks at TerraHash left for me.

How could they invest the money if PayPal froze their account?

Has that been proven?

They said their account was frozen but they have mis-represented other stuff too.

I dont know if we can find out if its  frozen since not our account.   All i know is when i did my paypal refund starting end of last monthish paypal was able to get the money to refund me.   Ofcourse with no TH support in effort.

Why the fuck does everyone talk like Yoda on this board?

PATIENCE YOU MUST HAVE my young padawan
14826  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 09, 2013, 02:55:39 PM
With the new chip order secured.  How does that effect the people around the 20,000 chip count on the list?

Another junior member support.   I don't think anyone has seen proof they truly secured the chips.  They said they did..... but securing a early chip batch when they said they did is not easy unless they paid a premium to someone.

Again TH please prove me wrong.  I hope i am wrong.  I just am not a believer after by experience with them.
14827  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 09, 2013, 02:52:57 PM
Some good news from bkkcoins (Klondike supplier)

He is how using "4 chips hashing 1200 GH/s."  (I'm not sure if 1200 GH/s is correct.  I think it should be 1200 MH?)

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=profile;u=29155;sa=showPosts

BKK has had this for a bit now..... TH still has not produced proof of anything.
14828  Other / CPU/GPU Bitcoin mining hardware / Re: Is a 450 watt psu sufficient for a 7950? on: July 09, 2013, 01:10:51 PM
All depends on what else is running in your system.  I would say normal 380ish watts (used kill-a-watt) on cards seeing with mining.   Varied by card was interesting.  I had a 730 power supply was not able to do 2 cards and system.  But a 850 covered easily.  So a lot depends on system, and also brand of PSU not all are equal.

I like your usb hub, can u link to where u got it?
14830  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 08, 2013, 11:44:54 PM
After my initial order I decided I didn't need the case as it cost $1000.  I asked if I could use this credit toward more boards.  TH took my calls and answered my emails in due time.  They refused to add boards to my order as it would be unfair to everyone else.  I respect this.  So i took the refund for the case instead. If they were scammers they would have said sure to my request and held my money.  They did not and opted to be as straight dealing  as possible.

Just my experience...

For this they have my trust

For threatening my refund in email and not even answering my paypal dispute or claim within paypal they have neither my trust or cash.

Just my experience..
14831  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: ASICMINER Blade Sales [Temporarily Out of Stock] on: July 08, 2013, 05:30:45 PM
Is there a set date on release for sure?
14832  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 08, 2013, 05:18:57 PM
I asked for a refund. It was ignored. I asked for a refund again. It was ignored.

I made a paypal claim asking for a refund. I was *denied*.

I upgraded it to a dispute. The terrahash site says I have it refunded, but I don't see the money in my paypal account, even as pending.

Well, this is not good. If they say, they will refund you, if you cancel before they ship, they will. Their "ignorance" (speaking in your language), as you see, just makes you more freightened, so you panikct and worse thinkgs up. Dispute as you have read allready, lasts longer to solve, but if they refund case by case, I suggest next time, to be extremelly patient.

With them it might not matter how patient you are.  During my dispute they would not respond in paypal.  Instead just let it sit there.  Claim was first time i even got a response about it, even though their response was a threat to close my claim...
14833  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Who is leading the avalon asic chip board race? on: July 08, 2013, 04:16:45 PM
There has been nothing to prove TH has a hashing unit.  Read their thread, and look at pic of the unit.
14834  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Off-Topic on: July 08, 2013, 01:54:56 PM

Wait a minute...Does anybody know anything about this guy?...cryptoin does he have these orders?....sorry just don't recall seeing him in here before??? he sounds to good to be true. Please correct me if I'm wrong....and I don't see him on the chip list? Sounds like to me he's a plant by terrahash?...and all this crap about spreading his orders around? huh? and a Jr member with a low stat.... I ain't buying it...sorry,,, and we all know about all the other asic miner company's and their status in the world, we don't need a recap! sounds like a bunch of BS to me...ok, hope I'm wrong,,, but I wasn't wrong about NOT getting a follow up video on a hashing board.... that's all we were looking for! Once again, nothing more is expected than what they tell to expect! PS: knightlife,,,anything short of a video of the front of their office with displayed address and a video of you and Amir and all the techs working on the boards and hashing" and a video of the new case we saw on the floor they ordered a hundred of ....then maybe I will be sold on this so called visit. we shouldn't even need anything like this! they just need to be straight up with us....where is the video we were told to EXPECT.. again, ridiculous!

Hey Minerman. My order numbers are 565 and 1304. When I added my orders to the queue, I did not list my username. I have been watching these boards for months and am thoroughly invested in bitcoin mining. Joe Ventura knows I'm legitimate and we are working together on my mining operation.

I'm certainly going to visit Terrahash's office and see how things are going. I've been planning on doing that since I first signed up on their site in May. I am not going to be building any boards with them, but I will take pictures and report on what I see. I used to be a cop, and I have no personal interest other than verifying that we are going to get our products. I'll reiterate that I'm not worried. Other than verification of my place in the TH order queue, you can check me out on eBay where I'm selling radeon scrypt miner settings and 114 BFL chip credits at the moment. My present chip credits alone prove I have at least 456 GH/s on preorder with BFL (I actually have more). I have 157.5 GH/s on order with Terrahash at present. I'm not going to post my Avalon, Bitmine, and KNC orders for your perusal. Just suffice to say, I have ordered over $40k worth of hashing power. I've been ordering asics since last December, and I build Litecoin mining rigs. Just because I have not been posting here does not mean I haven't been reading everyone's posts and using your threads to keep up on what's happening in the community.

Thank you for the offer of gas money Joe and Carpenter. TH office is just south of SF where my office is located. I'll be fine for travel expenses. I'm planning on going in the next two to three weeks. One reason I wanted to wait is I would like to go when their operation is closer to being ready. That way we will get a better idea of how quickly they will be able to fulfill our orders. Side note, I'm home the next week or two trying to pass kidney stones, so I'm not driving into my office in SF. Very painful to say the least...

I'm not telling anyone to do one thing or another thing in regards to their orders. That's your choice. I'm staying with them and I'm planning on receiving my boards in August as they've reported. I like many people's insights here and enjoy reading your posts. When I noticed that people were coming a little unhinged I decided to speak up. What I'm trying to say is, try not to worry, there are boots on the ground here.

I'm planning on going in the next two to three weeks
Ya, just in time for Paypal to expire,,,how nice...not much help there...... Don't waste your time or gas.

Just file a dispute now and get it refunded. Then you don't have anything to worry about.

Otherwise file a CLAIM on the 45th day and then you'll get 1-2 weeks extra to turn that into a dispute. (Who knows what Terrahash's system will do to this, I think someone said it turns the item into refunded but I'm sure they can reverse this with a quick call)

Either way it really doesn't seem like there is any pleasing you so I'd go with Option 1 which is just filing a dispute now and stop putting yourself through this torment (lol).

I can confirm as soon as soon as you make a dispute it marks your order as refunded on their system (or at least did when i started process).  Paypal worked with me since TH did not want to work within paypal and didnt respond to dispute or claim.

I predict this:
TH promise update
Jr. Member (possibly multiple) defend TH
TH breaks promise on update

Process repeats its self.

They have been to quiet for too long, I am now mostly convinced they are a scam, Perhaps they did not start out that way, but there has been too many red flags to persuade me otherwise.
they just made updates a day or two ago ?

Updates saying uploading a video of hashing..... and the day is already passed they were going to upload.
who cares if they have one hashing or not, bkk already has done that, they should just be waiting until bkk finalizes the board to be doing it anyways

Yet another junior member post .... hmmm.   And you would care since they said they had it working i would guess.... and failed to provide a single piece of proof.

Hey guys. I wanted to weigh in on the discussion. I have 35 K16s on order with Terrahash. I live in the Bay Area and work in SF. I'm planning on stopping by TH/s office to say hello and see how things are going. I am planning on giving a full report after I make the visit. I'm not worried. I bought through Paypal, and am satisfied that I have buyer protection. I have not called Terrahash in the past week, but every time I have called (3 times so far) they have answered the phone and given me satisfactory answers. They have also replied to my emails in the past. I think they are making a good faith effort to fulfill their obligations to us. I am not a shill, and I understand everyone's frustration. I think that with what we have been through in the waiting game with BFL and Avalon everyone is on edge. I have 1.3 TH/s of miners on order with BFL, Bitmine, Avalon, Terrahash, and KNC. It's been depressing (at times VERY depressing) to think of how long we have had to wait for our pre-orders. I'm going to be patient. They are only 30 minutes away from where I work. I have a good feeling that we will get our miners as promised in August. I'm not necessarily expecting anything miraculous out of BFL or Avalon before then. Maybe we'll get those orders or maybe they'll be pushed back to September or October. As for KNC, who knows. Maybe we'll get the most awesome miners in the world to date, or maybe not. All of these purchases are a risk related investment. That's why I spread my funds between 5 companies. I still feel that Terrahash will very likely get our products to us before the other companies. Let them work and get our boards ready. I'll keep you guys posted regarding my upcoming visit.

I agreed.  Been a few low post members that i questioned possible links.  If he comes back Monday and says "Everything was great trust me!" we will know something is up lol.   If no videos of hashing i don't believe.

Highly suggest talking to paypal before they are un-frozen if you are able to, know i did.  Dont let them stall to long.

14839  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: eBay - Paypal Lawsuit Potential? on: July 07, 2013, 12:24:45 PM
You have to take pictures of everything and upload it to the Paypal Dispute center. You have to get an email from the registered PP/eBay account, and call the number attached to the accounts to verify it's them. It will weed out any scammers.

Even with pictures i don't think you could win as a seller with Paypal on dispute of Bitcoins.  I would stay far away from selling them on ebay.
14840  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Is Now The Time To Buy? on: July 07, 2013, 12:14:19 PM
I will buy at $53 and $36   Grin
I'm waiting!

I doubt it hits 53..... but i could be wrong.  I think it will stall for a bit, and hopefully go back up.   But if it hits 36 i think we have a lot to worry about as a community.

Alternative currency i think will be the ones this week to watch.
