speaking of Bitmain and their miners
received a mail from a long time forgotten Eobot:

S9 are abandoned and not even considered to be ever profitable, but they want to try it with s15 units when they are available

1503  Bitcoin / Press / Re: [2018-12-10] First Week of December Ends with Flush of Green, Bitcoin Nears on: December 10, 2018, 04:26:03 PM
Who are they trying to fool? A 10% drop followed by an 8% bounce back is still a 2% loss in the last week, even if you compare the tops, and to make it even funnier BTC lost 3% today. We aren't going anywhere BTC is not going to go anywhere until we get some real good news. Every month the average price of BTC is getting lower and lower and we'll probably have to go back to 3k for it to find some strong resistance.

it was a momentary gain too
the price is back to 3450-3550 range and it doesn't look like it is going up
although I would not connect btc price to the news, it has been proven that there is no connection whatsoever
and yes, think 3000$ ish is the bottom currently, seeing how we test new lows almost every week
1504  Economy / Gambling / Re: ✅ BTCJUA.com - Simplest Casino | No Minimum Withdraw | 4 BTC BONUS on: December 09, 2018, 08:28:15 PM
yes as you can see this project is quite new and the risk with processing large automatic payment is, that just incase someone hacks or finds a flaw he can drain whole wallet.

Current Bankroll = 0.65 btc, if someone wins more then it then i get a notification and i check its validity and fund bankroll again.

i hope you understood what position i am having here, safety 1st

Daaaaaaaaaaaamn

You're actually creating a gambling site with not even 1 full btc in bankroll? xD

Well I hope everything will go right for you but... That's both incredibly risky and completely untrustworthy. I wouldn't put more than one or two mBTC on such site.

Good luck though

some are having even less than that ,so 0.65 bitcoins is not something unusual for an upstart
but there are many questionable business decisions as well as the points I mentioned above ( transaction results spam as soon as you load the site)
that makes me not want to gamble here at all, maybe if only given free bonus to test Smiley
it is risky for the owner , yes if a player or many players get lucky, he could go bust in a matter of hours

sure leave me your bitcoin address below, and let me know how things go and what i should improve.

ok, here is my addy:  1MeReGV5pwy2fHze19amwsnWYqomx8opQv
will send with minimal fee too, hope it won't take ages to confirm

sent, try it out

tried it out:
https://btc.com/4a940301c215be2e9112a4feac321ddbee01874894b1b9b49532955e1de101d3
probably lost Smiley
no way to sort bets by date, no way to look into your past bets
the only way I was able to tell if I lost or not was Fairness verify tab: https://jsfiddle.net/m04dpva1/
all in all , thanks for the owner for a chance to test the site
not my kind of game, but maybe with some improvements, this site could find its audience

1506  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Good news for those who love Bitcoin on: December 09, 2018, 02:37:51 PM
its a good milestone to reach, one million users for Reddit r/bitcoin
but the reality is that you have to divide this number by 3-4 at least
the number of unique users is probably 200k at most, I know for sure that I created two accounts there just because I lost my old password
pretty sure that the vast majority of people there have two or more accounts
but its a good place to learn about the latest news and to read gossips and different opinions  Tongue
1507  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I am a loser. My only question now is, how do I tell my wife on: December 09, 2018, 01:01:40 PM
sad to hear it Sad you are not a loser
but you are a gambler , you gambled on ETH to increase in price and you made the wrong call
it happens, do not despair, after all you had a paid off house to start with
how many people here can boast that? I guess not everyone has a house worth 300.000
what I suggest- you talk to your wife and tell her everything
if she loves you, she will understand and you will feel much better
as for HODling or not, I would hodl - if you sell now you will lose like 70% of the value
if you can wait for a year or more, do it
1508  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bet in Vodds using Bitcoin on: December 09, 2018, 12:10:09 PM
OP should google how to promote a site
add a link to the site is among the first requirements Smiley
this is a bookie ,relatively popular in Asia
in Europe and America - not so much, don't think its fairlay of asia, but you can try it out if you are loooking for some new betting xperience
they do accept bitcoins, but I,personally, have never tried the site so cannot really say if it is good or not
1509  Economy / Gambling / Re: Lordmancer II - an MMORPG where you can earn crypto on: December 09, 2018, 11:34:38 AM
so its a Mobile game ?

Can you earn 1$ for 1 month of play ?

I think it is depends on how lucky you are by getting rare item to sell into bitcoin. It just not only $1 that you can get but even more than that but still it depends on the market price which is relly global. If you still wondering how you can earn then you should started right now so you will earn faster

it doesn't matter how lucky you are, if there are no buyers for your items for cryptocurrency
as for now, there are not enough players who are willing to buy items for crypto
therefore you cannot sell your items , I mean you can sell them for crystals but you cannot convert crystals to crypto
I have several VERY good items, I don't even try to sell them for Lordcoins and it took me several days to sell them for crystals and way way cheaper than I was planning to
once again, there is a chance that the game finds a publisher or some group of people who redesign it, maybe change the concept slightly
and you will be able to earn more than puny 1$ a month, but now, as the things are- you cannot

1511  Economy / Gambling / Re: Bitcoin Casino Database on: December 08, 2018, 10:23:24 PM
another option is to buy a safelist(mailing list) with casino and gambling interests
you  probably want to spam the hell out of them , so this would save your time compiling the db into a proper format  Wink

probably not at the moment
read the above statement: https://medium.com/@Lordmancer/official-announcement-1da50d4b4185
tl:dr the team has run out of funds, the game servers will be online for some time more , but if there are
no publishers or sponsors  found, the project will be closed
shame, I really liked the game
1513  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gamdom.com - 3 Million+ users - Jackpots, Rains - unique games modes on: December 08, 2018, 06:31:05 PM
too many questions:
1. are your games provably fair?
2.if they are, how can you offer a 5% deposit bonus? your house edge must be at least 6%
3.why am I getting invalid sign up request every time I'm trying to register with a login/pass combination?
4.your rain abuse rule doesn't make sense, really free coins are free coins and you cannot ban people for not using them up when they want or do not want to
5.how much do you charge for bitcoin withdrawals, says nothing about it in the Help section
6.what are the coins( the site's currency) and how much is one coin in btc?
etc. etc.
1514  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Casinos with instant deposits on: December 08, 2018, 04:50:27 PM
Hi, what are some good, trusted casinos with instant BTC deposits? (preferably decentralized)

instant deposits were turned off by many bitcoin casinos
Bitsler, Primedice,Stake used to have instant deposits
it turned out that the risks of doublespends and different shenenigans by unscrupulous inidividuals
are too high and this brief wait for one confirmation (and most of the sites require just one confirmation to credit ) is not worth
having to deal with all the troubles caused by potential scammers
I ,personally, am fine with waiting a couple of minutes more

is it too late or too early to participate in the giveaway round?
if not, consider this my entry:

1517  Economy / Gambling / Re: ★★★ TRUE FLIP 🐬 DICE, SLOTS, LOTTERY ★★★ WIN BTC FOR FREE! ★★★ on: December 08, 2018, 03:25:32 PM
signed up to try the new casino, the sign up process is very easy and almost instant
I wasn't even asked to click a confirmation e-mail link, which is very rare nowadays Smiley
the site looks very colourful ,as a big fan of dice games I was impressed with the graphics:
floating dice, an octopus chick and you can choose the range to bet on! this is awesome, been looking for a dice site to allow that
there is no free faucet, but you can play in a demo mode to try the games without depositing
casino claims to be provably fair, although I could not find a way to verify dice rolls, maybe didn't look properly
what I didn't like -KYC , but its the necessary evil for the licensed casinos I guess, you cannot withdraw money without KYC according to TOS:
"The User shall undergo KYC procedure after completing the registration of User’s Account and: i) before first withdrawal of fundsirrespective of the amount;..."
not sure if it applies to cryptousers or not, but I would not want to deposit bitcoins only to find out that I cannot withdraw my win unless I send my docs
all in all, trueflip.io is a nice looking casino that accepts bitcoins with many unique games, awesome dice and a demo mode to test the games you like

Most forums have chatbox but bitcointalk doesn't.... What do you guys think, does this forum need a chatbox or not? In my opinion it would make things much cooler  Cool

Bitcointalk is called a forum for a reason
why would you need a chatbox is beyond me- to read various unrelated spam messages and to give mods more work than they can handle already?
if anything you can private message when you feel like chatting to someone, it provides plenty of functionality
1520  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Is Guarantee For Increasing BTC Price? on: December 07, 2018, 07:09:07 PM
there is no such a thing as a guarantee in this area
investments always risky, be it stocks, bitcoins or anything else for that matter
practically anything can lose value or get stolen , bitcoin though has a deflation mechanism inbuilt in it
each coin becomes more valuable as the time pass, unless something happens to cryptography or internet or civilization
bitcoins are bound to be worth more , the question is when and how much Smiley
