621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fairlay withholding my BTC for currently no real explanation on: August 09, 2019, 05:50:21 PM
...
as for the possible reasons it could be the tainted coins you got from an exchange or your IP flagged
...

If tainted coins are the problem he would have a problem with the exchange as well.
But he stated that he has no issues with his account at the exchange where
the funds were coming from.

Iīm really curious which 3rd party Fairlay is talking about here. Given the fact that
Fairlay is not licensed anywhere in the world I donīt really understand why they would
work with a company like Chainalysis (I suspect that the 3rd party that they talk
about is one of these blockchain analytics companies).

OP disappeared it seems, either his issue was solved or he had no case at all ( things like that  happen ,sometimes people come and try to mess with a casino they hate ,smearing its reputation )
3rd party could be one of the analytics companies or the exchange itself , we don't know , but I don't see Fairlay holding coins without a good reason
if they are AML compliant ,  they are forced to react to the queries
even if they are not licensed , they could get in troubles with the authorities and they would not want their business paralyzed because of some dude
622  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Why hasn't any government stopped Bitcoin? on: August 09, 2019, 11:33:15 AM
There are enough lobbyists that are working to convince the government about it's benefits. Ciphertrace was recently in Washington to tell them how bitcoin can actually provably show money laundering while other large companies are fighting for banking the unbanked
no wonder , Ciphertrace is protecting its business and wants to expand
they are cooperating with the agencies , making , by the way , your life harder
these are the institutions that are behind the " love letters " from IRS , since they trace the users who are trading through the exchanges such as Coinbase
and in this case Ciphertrace is right , making bitcoin transactions more transparent could lead to legalization of cryptocurrencies and no more fairytales about money laundering
that is done exclusively in cryptocurrencies and terrorism sponsoring , which might be happening through bitcoin  but is negligible in comparison with the fiat volumes
623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Fairlay withholding my BTC for currently no real explanation on: August 08, 2019, 05:12:00 PM
I would wait for the response from their support first
Fairlay has a good reputation and I never had any problems with them
as for the possible reasons it could be the tainted coins you got from an exchange or your IP flagged
it is not like the bookie wants to steal your coins - they got an alert from the security team and then it all goes "we check and do not tell you what it is"
leaving a polite reminder in their topic here and nagging support usually helps more than any confrontation
but if it results in nothing good for  you and your money are held , open a scam accusation topic , but for now I would suggest waiting for a response
sometimes false positives happen , errare humanum est like our Latin friends used to say
624  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Tezos Gambling on: August 06, 2019, 08:28:01 PM
Tezos is going to be listed on Coinbase Pro!!! Did you HODL? or did you sell and miss the pump? If you missed it , here's a chance to make up: Check out TezDice the only crypto gambling website you can win Tezos!! Current Bank Roll is 46,000 Tezos!!! Come try your luck, if you don't play , you can't win!!

If Tezos does manage to get listed on Coinbase then the chances of it being listed on Binance is also likely. I find this funny though as this is one of the altcoins that not many people have heard about and such listing will certainly help with that but I still wonder how big could the Tezos community get?

well , people haven't heard about 9/10 of the coins from the top 100 , no wonder
and to be fair , Tezos is only one of the eight altcoins that Coinbase is looking at
if it adds Tezos , it is going to be huge for the coin and the gambling sites that use Tezos should get way more popularity
but for that we need to see if Coinbase does add it , there are many decent coins to compete with
625  Economy / Gambling / Re: Kingbet.io has anybody heard of it? on: August 06, 2019, 12:32:29 PM
It's too high to believe so I doubt that they really are offering 150% on first deposits but if its real, what are the conditions? I think the condition is going to be hard for someone who's just going for that bonus.

And like most of the people here, it's an unfamiliar casino so be careful upon depositing any amount there. That deposit bonus can be a bait.

it is not too high , the problem is not that 150% or 1 btc is too high
the problem is in the wagering requirements and the fairness of the games - I have seen sites that offered such a bonus
I tried to deposit 0.01 to test , the wagering requirement was only 50x and guess what ? I got 4! bets in a row reds on 1.01012 multiplier
and then another one after only two greens to clean the balance
same thing happened on a different site , they offered IphoneX for the top 5 wagered , that one managed to give some astronomically high streak on 1.2x that was mathematically impossible , think it was 14 reds in a row or so
i.e. was obvious the site was rigged , even though they had "provably fair" implemented and then there was another one ... long story short , out of five tries I never managed to wager and withdraw , not on a single bonus offering site! and I consider myself a pro dice player
so , whenever I see a provably fair dice offer a deposit bonus , I start to have doubts about the site's legitimacy and fairness

50 times for wagering on deposit amount is really huge and you even said "only 50". I do not know if anyone might possible to complete this or not. Anyway to think that any site is fully legit or not is provably fair system in which if there is one site without the provably fair system, I would not dare to risk some money even if it is small amount. In your case to bet through 14 losing streak, what could really happen if they used martingale system? And btw why would someone use deposit bonus when they can directly getting some profit directly?

50 times for wagering on dice is nothing , it is extremely easy to achieve for a good dicer
this is due to the fact that the game is provably fair and only has 1% house edge ( well most of the sites , the ones that do not - avoid )
with multipliers as low as 1.01 it is easy to bet , say 1000 satoshi per bet and increase 100x on loss
you will be getting 2-3 reds in a row from time to time, yes but this allows you to wager at around 60-80x times the amount of your deposit, proven by practice
deposit bonus  effectively doubles your deposited coins , why  not take it if you are going to wager anyways ?
626  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trade makes me poor on: August 06, 2019, 10:15:17 AM
Are you frustrated when you experience defeat in trading? yes I experienced this ... I have lost $ 1000 dollars in the past 2 hours ... I did not switch with another coin and I just focused on the initial coin. but in fact I was still losing, in my opinion trading was not much different from gambling.

What did you do to your $1000 just only 2 hours ? You should not lose such money in short time.
If you want to be a trader, you must not afraid to sell your coin if the price keep going down.
You should set target when you must sell, and buy. For example if the price -10%, you must sell the coin.
With this way, you won't lose your money easily.

a bad trader can lose more than that in a matter of seconds
and even get into serious debt if trading with margin leverages - do not do that if you are not a pro
some people are attracted to the possibility of easy and fast money and they do not realize that they can go as easily as they come
once again : learn and read before you are trying anything that involves money , be it trading , investment , gambling , banking etc.
627  Economy / Economics / Re: What is behind the past few days of rally? on: August 05, 2019, 07:30:57 PM
It is all green candles. Up up up. Why? Is there any news to shed some light on this? The price will probably fall fast now. I think this green streak is not going to last for long.

well it wasn't all green candles not so long ago , we had a 9100$ dip
overall its a bullish sentiment for this year and corrections are expected , even 20-30% is not surprising anymore and considered "normal" for bitcoin
the reasons behind it could be many : global trade wars with uncertainty about fiat currency , China and USA are at it again
Libra introduction and potential regulation of cryptocurrencies , businesses are getting on board, declaring experimental support for cryptocurrencies
institutional investments are going up Jp Morgan and the likes , I'm sure are diversifying and buying coins  (even if they do not say they do ) - take your pick

in reality ... we do not know , I saw 5000 coins bought across top exchanges once the price hit the bottom of 9100 several days ago
so it could be all games and manipulation of one or many big players
628  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: trade makes me poor on: August 05, 2019, 07:15:09 PM
wonder how people expect good results in something they have a very vague understanding of
trading =/= gambling , it is way more skill based , gambling is more luck based as you could run the optimal strategy and lose because the stars didn't align ( or because of the casino's house edge Smiley   )
in trading one has to read ALOT first , it requires a certain mindset too , you must understand that you cannot be profiting all the time and losses are inevitable
I heard stories about Forex traders who made millions on their demo accounts
once they deposit and trade with the real money - its a completely different story , 99% of them lose their money
it is psychology , mindset , discipline and technical analysis and even then you could end up in the red because some markets decided to crash and you were holding
or you shorted and there was a global super bull run , things happen
629  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🐺WOLF.BET - Provably fair dice game 🎲 Free faucet🚰 7-day streak bonus 🔥 on: August 05, 2019, 06:36:16 PM
I came again with 4th days login and received 3 Doge and currently i can playing very well without any problem because unlike my last visit currently i can change the winning chance setting whenever i want and auto bets feature also went smoothly so basically i was satisfied with all of it but if supose can would you reduce minimum amount to withdraw for Doge lower than 2000 Doge

2000 doge is basically just small amount as it is not even half than the minimum withdrawal in bitcoin. Indeed it is higher compared to other sites that accepts dogecoin but I think there is a reason why the set 2000 doge as the minimum withdrawal. The reason can be related to this 7days streak login bonus where players get few doge 7 days continuously. 2000 doge as the minimum withdraw can be used to minimize the number of abusers who just use the bonus till they win and reach the minimum withdraw.

2000 doge is only 50k in satoshi
how much lower would people want it to be? frankly , the depositing users should have no problem with the minimal withdrawals and it is usually the faucet users
or the ones who like to get free money from nothing that like low minimal withdrawal figures
they "forget" casinos are not charities or faucets to distribute free crypto , this is  a business
I'm surprised wolfbet has 10 million bets already ,its a relatively new site with 20-30 people online
wonder how did they manage to reach it in such a short period of time , must be doing something right

-snip-

Thank you for your good advice. Can you tell me how to upload pictures to this community?
[/quote]

as a newbie member you cannot post pictures
you will have to either purchase a Copper status :  https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2385104.msg24371150#msg24371150
( it costs 0.0024 btc +- and allows you to post pictures and gives some smaller benefits too )
can buy it here : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=credit;promote

or you have to rank your account up , for that you would want to achieve a Junior member status :
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=2818350.0
you only have to get 1 merit and 30 activity , it is very easy

632  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: bitcasino.io - SCAMMED ME on: August 04, 2019, 07:11:01 PM
you cannot call scam when there is a clear KYC rule in their terms and conditions
and you must read the T@C first before depositing , cannot blame the casino - they could have reasons to hold your 430k withdrawal
while it is annoying to lose 45$ like that , we do not know if it was a legit win or you have been abusing their system , after all
if you want to accuse them of scam , post your proofs in the corresponding thread , namely here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=83.0
633  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will go below 100 $ and then > 1,000,000 $ on: August 04, 2019, 12:35:10 PM
I do not believe that the price of the BTC will go down, because nowadays we are going to cashless society.

casheless society doesn't mean that it will be cryptocurrencies that oust fiat money
there are many bottlenecks preventing crypto to take over fiat and banking transactions
one of them - slow transactions and low tx/second figures , simply cannot compete with VISA  with its tens of thousands per second
also casheless society is not necessarily a good thing , imagine being turned off with a switch of a button and unable to buy anything if you are not on the system
its a fully controlled electronic working camp in the best traditions of antiutopias , so careful what you wish for
634  Economy / Gambling / Re: Battlebit.io | #1 Bitcoin Dice Roulette and Texas holdem on: August 04, 2019, 10:29:24 AM
HI mitchr4

We don't need KYC.
you just need an app and an exe installation to play the game.
Any installation or file download will really be a big hindrance on most gamblers. Why not create some web-browser based?

wanted to try poker , but no luck Sad
agree 100% - not going to try the casino just because I'm not downloading and installing exe files from unverified sources
it can be legit and more , but safety first and I'm sure there are plenty of gamblers thinking the same
came across several typos and "lost in translation " moments - while reading about KYC there is this beautiful french sounding  tonermante   Grin

overall , the sites looks ok with a decent selection of games , but no web browser betting makes this a no go area for me , sadly
635  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin price will go below 100 $ and then > 1,000,000 $ on: August 04, 2019, 09:54:20 AM
Problem is too many people would love it and it'll never reach that low while people are demanding and buying it on the way down.

$100 BTC is possible, I've traded it at that price but the landscape at that point in history for Bitcoin and just the world generally was substantially different to now.   Nothing is impossible, water can run uphill but we have to consider the factors for a tide change that would bring about $100 BTC and nothing the OP mentioned would cause that.
The first most important requirement is hard currency standards, again I can remember when plain cash across many nations was commonly giving rates of return of about 10% just by visiting any bank and placing a simple deposit.   At this point banks required your capital to operate and loan, profit from the business of transmitting value in an economy.    The current system has funding via central banks with fixed rates via QE

The modern economy and monetary base we have drifted into has the loosest monetary standards that have existed in hundreds of years perhaps.   The worlds largest central bank just cut rates from its great high point of 2.5%    If thats the peak of the cycle for interest rates in western economies, no further proof is needed that loose money and inflation is unlikely to let many prices fall.

while it is possible , technically , to go back to the 100$ mark for bitcoin , it is highly unlikely
this would mean either a complete collapse of the coin i.e. some critical flaw discovered
or a new shiny super coin emerge that dethrones bitcoin and make the majority of  all other alts obsolete
either way it would signal the end of bitcoin as the "gold" of cryptocurrencies and pretty much ends its presence on the market
I agree with your statements about central banks , but inflation can only lead to the price increase since the amount of printed coloured paper they call money increases
in a geometrical progression and there is not enough resources to sell for it , therefore the money have no substance behind it and the prices rise inevitably

636  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How many people or percentage has held at least 50 or 100 btc at one point? on: August 03, 2019, 07:31:03 PM
it is not possible to tell  how many , for that you would have to check billions of addresses
but in the early years 50-100 bitcoins was nothing , an average GPU in 2010 could mine you a coin in a few days
I remember faucets ( not the one dishing 5 btc and then 1 btc out , the smaller ones ) that gave out 100k satoshi per claim
and they were not even popular - hell who would have known that time ....
I had more than that and I literally wasted my fortune , hindsight is always 20 20
637  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin Just Broke $10k on: August 03, 2019, 06:46:11 PM
Wake me up when 1 btc = $1,000,000. Then I will think about spending some bitcoin on something cool, but never selling for fiat.  Wink

that could be a one prolonged coma to wait for 1 mil usd per coin
if you don't want to sell for fiat then you should never value it in fiat , say  "wake me up when  a  villa in Maldives or Monaco is worth 0.1 btc "
but the current rise from 9000$ to almost 11.000$ is promising , I was pretty confident it would go down a bit
and then a miraculous 4000 coins bought across exchanges to get the price up to 9400$ and we keep going up since then
wake me up when it costs 13.500$ so I can sell some , actually , don't -I have alerts set up anyways   Cheesy
638  Economy / Gambling / Re: Kingbet.io has anybody heard of it? on: August 03, 2019, 05:55:25 PM
whenever I see a provably fair casino offer 150% deposit bonuses , I only shrug
this is too good to be true and 1% house edge will never make this offer profitable , even with the 40x wager
it is relatively easy to achieve 100x wager on dice and a legit casino would go bankrupt ( notice , legit casino )
thats why I would not trust it , but it is just my IMHO
never heard of this site as well , it is not advertised and it is not present here at bitcointalk
depositing would be a very risky adventure and I'm not sure why even consider it when there are dozens of trusted legit crypto casinos like Stake, Bitsler , Bitvest and so on
639  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How I lost 200,000 EURO on Bitcasino.io on: August 03, 2019, 01:45:36 PM
Sorry but I can hardly believe there would be someone who spent 200.000 on gambling and then casually posts in a forum like he has lost a pen.
But in case this is your real story, then you got to visit a doctor, you're seriously addicted.
Yeah this is a little worrisome, especially the part where he's saying he just did this to prove its broken, you spent 200k to prove something is a scam? I think a few grand could have done well enough on building your confidence on what something is or isn't.

Do you honestly think I would be able to prove something is broken by losing 5k or 10k? Streamers lose that amount on a daily basis and no one blinks and eye. That is normal. At todays exchange rate my losses are at around 400k EURO. That means something is seriously wrong. I have never hit a 100x win. Never hit a Jackpot. I'm pretty sure I'm the biggest player on bitcasino in terms of deposits. 500 spins on dead or alive 2 which has a really high RTP and I don't get a single 10x win or free spins? 18,000 EURO lost in 5 minutes on their highest RTP slot. 36k EURO lost in 10 minutes on Reactoonz. 70k EURO lost on Fat rabbit and no free spins. 1400 Spins at 50 EURO bets and no wins? Tell me this is normal and I will lock the thread and not complain again. Every slot I play I win win my initial bet back on free spins. Nothing more.

As I mentioned I'm done with bitcasino. I've been lowering my deposits gradually and playing smaller bets over the past month to see if my luck changes. Still no wins. I'm clearly being taken advantage of on this site. I'll be asking one of my mates to open an account at bitcasino and will give him 10k euro to deposit to see if he can win something on his account playing the same games I have.

this is the worst feeling in the world, mate Sad
to lose such an amount of money and have no fun in the process and feel cheated ...
I don't know wherever your sessions were legit and just  terribly unlucky or you have been taken advantage of , but you can try and complain to the https://www.askgamblers.com/
and to their  license holder in Curacao , ask them to check your sessions to see if there was no foul play
this , most likely , won't get you your money back , but at least you will warn others
640  Economy / Games and rounds / Re: Bitcoin Giveaway! Biggest Win gets 0.01 BTC on: August 02, 2019, 05:35:37 PM
This is legit? I smell something wrong with this post. All we know that 0.01 is huge amount to make a free coin. I am afraid to click and browse the link because all we know the strategies of some scammer. There is someone who already tried this? I am alreay became a victim before in that kind of scam so I want to make sure that it will never happen again.

this is a plain and simple referral hunting
and quite a cheap attempt too , 0.01 prize for a decent slots affiliate who can , potentially , bring  several times more each  is nothing
the thing is  , if there are only a few participating a small win could land you the prize but then there is no guarantee OP will pay you
or won't create a fake with a big win and post it just to save on the prize , you cannot possibly check it , can you?
in any case , I'd think twice before trying to win this , if you want to play in a casino - find a site that offers rakeback on your loss , you'd be better off in the long run
