1501  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 3×2.5 gram gold bars for sell on: March 07, 2017, 06:27:51 AM
I'd just like to point out when the user shipped me some silver it took exactly a month for me to receive it from the post mark date.

It could just be very slow

It could be suspicious at the least, maybe salty or jones could clear it up for us?

Hi,

Not sure why you think they have any insight to Liad's disappearance?

He was flaky on responding to me on 3 different potential sales where I finally gave up on trying to give him my BTC lol. (probably a good thing)

Shipping from anywhere in the world unless package is LOST or hung up in customs, should not take a month, unless it is coming by boat with a slow person walking it to your shipping address from the dock Smiley

Plus any tracking info would show that status.

If Liad's account was stolen or otherwise, why hasn't he made another account to say "Hey guys my account was compromised, dont deal with whoever, let me try to sort this out"?

Or reach out to another member via a dozen other channels?

At this point until any notice is provided, I think we can consider this an unsafe account to do business with.

Thanks!

I can handle it for you if you still need...just send me a PM.

Yes, I would agree that Blazed is most probably the best option.

thanks!
1503  Economy / Collectibles / Re: 3×2.5 gram gold bars for sell on: March 06, 2017, 03:20:56 PM
it is a good deal!!

if i was in the US i would have grabbed them all!!

not sure why they havent sold yet...
What does the US have to do with this sale? the OP is not located in the US?

thanks!

Go to coin galleries of oyster bay in lynbrook on sunrise highway. Ask an employee if he oversaw 2 men, one in his 20s and one in his 40s, make a cashless deal. He'll remember because the guy had no idea what bitcoin was and was totally confused. Don't spread FUD because you are butthurt you couldn't "verify" my gold.

why don't you post the transactions TX and anybody can look up the date and hour of this actual (supposed?) deal?

I was waiting for someone to suggest that Smiley
1505  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Selling three 1 ounce gold bars on: March 05, 2017, 10:10:48 PM
Gold bars were sold to a local from craigslist. We met at a local coinstore in Lynbrook and he paid me in bitcoin Cheesy Thanks for consideration all I'll close this thread out

ok lol suuuuure, looking back at your previous posts as others should as well , I HIGHLY doubt anything you say here on this forum has any truth to it.

Not trustworthy in my book at all, to set up a meeting then conveniently sell them the same day as our meeting, with no cancellation notice or otherwise, which avoided any actual verification from a trusted member....lol

I actually told the OP I would test them for free for him, and might not even purchase any gold, but would actually buy some of the silver on the spot he was boasting about.

So this is not a butthurt situation by any means, as I clearly told him I may not be buying the bars when we meet but might have some others who are interested, and would pay in BTC, if it was verified to be real.

It goes to show you how some "people" get weeded out simply by offering some free "testing" lol

yea good luck selling anything else here Smiley

I would advise other members to research this user's previous posts which contain looking to purchase a sr members account and other "things"

thanks!

It is more the fact that you agreed to meet up then bailed. Which looks shady.

Exactly,

If you were legit you would have been smart to use my free service to vet you, instead you went a shady route, bailed on the meetup,  and made some claim of dudes doing cashless transactions lol

Man you are gonna have to learn the hard way that trust isn't an easy thing to earn here, and I think you just lost whatever you may have had if any.

But looking back at your previous posts on buying other accounts and ebay whatevers lol , its pretty self explanatory.

oh and "Don't spread FUD because you are butthurt you couldn't "verify" my gold."  That was a favor for you, although you may be too shady and scammy to see that , and for the community to weed out scammers such as yourself.

have a good day Smiley

When I get home later I will happily post my proof of purchase and the other 2 serial numbers. I just wanted to get the post up and hopefully some interest. I will, however, scratch out my name from the receipt as I'm not one to post my name on a public forum for the world to see.

Yeah, you never did post this either. Also, don't get so wound up by people asking questions if you're going to post in the trading forum.. especially if you're selling expensive gold bars that have plenty of counterfeits in circulation.

sounds very goldFISHY to me Smiley
1509  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: [WTS] 2760 H/s ZCash (950 Watts) - 7 x R9 Nano Mining Rig on: March 05, 2017, 04:21:38 PM
Hi, How much for just the GPU's? any deal?

thanks!

I'm willing to sell all 7 Nano for $2200.

NO thanks, but good luck with your sales.

I am not interested in a $10 discount Smiley
1510  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Selling three 1 ounce gold bars on: March 05, 2017, 04:12:43 PM
OK,

So it's been an hour and I am not going to hear back from this newbie or I would have already.

I will NOT be meeting him today or any other day for that matter, as I dont have time for games.

It is apparent to me that he had plenty of time and opportunity to view my messages and reply with at least some lame excuse why he can't make the meeting in less than 1 hour from now.

It seems he only replies when I post in the main thread as well.

I am moving on with my day.

So good luck with anyone wanting to buy from this person.

I will not be verifying any of these items, so buyer beware, and factor in your own risk.

I am washing my hands from this, and was simply doing this as as service for the community.

thanks!
1511  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Selling three 1 ounce gold bars on: March 05, 2017, 03:20:23 PM
You can XRF test gold bars through the certicard, no need to remove the packaging to establish authenticity.

Well i contacted the seller/OP late last night and it's about 10:15 am here, and suggested a time and place to meet, I have not gotten a reply back yet. and I suggested to meet around noon today in less than 2 hours from now.

If I dont get any sort of reply, within the hour, I will simply mark this off as a no show and move on with my day.

You can deal at your own risk.

Thanks!
1512  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Casascius 25 BTC 2011 -- anyone interested? on: March 05, 2017, 05:56:47 AM
I not sure why the OP hasn't posted any pics yet?

The thread was created just about 2 days ago, right?

OP, if you legitimately own this coin, it would be in your best interest to post a pic as soon as possible before any more doubt is cast upon your shadow.

As far as escrowing for a coin of this value, I would think it would be for both the buyer and seller's best interest to use a long standing trusted escrow.

thanks!

1514  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Selling three 1 ounce gold bars on: March 05, 2017, 03:22:16 AM

thanks!

The problem that I find with high premium bars that come sealed such as perth mint and pamp suisse is that they can be easily faked. No one wants to lose the premium by opening up the packaging, which means no one is able to do a scratch test which gives away fakes easily. That's why I don't hold any high premium gold/silver.
So im not sure why, and i've mentioned this before why people think the scratch test means anything? or that you need to remove a piece of precious metal from an air tite or a case to verify its resistance and other methods?

Actually the acid test is probably the worst way to test as you are only scratching the surface...so what of you have a nice gold bar that is PLATED? and the inside is filled with tungsten? your "scratch test' would telll you it is real, but its a fake.

thanks!
There aren't many ways to test gold for purity, but by not being allowed to inspect it outside of it's packaging that high premium bars have, the ways in which you can test are greatly reduced.

The weight test is a good test which you cannot do if you have to weigh the packaging along with it.
I would imagine you can find the total weight for both the bar and package in the sealed bars and coins. For instance, an NGC slab that holds an american eagle is 40 grams. In terms of the multiple tests, I am pretty much clueless. I would imagine there is some type of electronic scanner that can measure density and purity.
There are many tests you can perform without touching the actual metal Smiley

Through a slab, etc. If you aren't aware, GIYF Smiley

But hopefully I will be able to meet up with the OP to see, although OP, you haven't replied to my last few messages??? so who knows.

Thanks!
1515  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Selling three 1 ounce gold bars on: March 04, 2017, 11:24:52 PM
Would you be willing to use escrow.   Escrow would be released upon verification using a precious metals verifier.

He wont.

I may meet up with the OP to verify all of the above, it seems a lot of people jump right in and assume the worst which is the norm these days with all of the previous scam attempts that have happened here.

Hopefully we can put this to rest, and if the seller is legit, then hes legit.
done.

I have sent him a PM and will hopefully make a purchase.

If anyone wants to buy something after its confirmed id be happy to reship and you can use escrow with a trusted one of the usual suspects Smiley

I dont need to make any money from this, its a service.

thanks!

Apparently nothing on this forum is private and everyone needs to know everyone eles's business, so I will update by saying I will be meeting with buckrogers either tomorrow (sunday, march 5) or monday (march 6) and he will validate the bars are indeed real with some fancy equipment he has. If he doesn't buy them I will ask him to post a vouch for me that they are real.

Since you all know about my business dealings now, I might as well update you in saying I had a delicious bacon egg and cheese sandwich this morning on my way home from work (I work overnight) and a small iced-coffee with just milk-trying to cut down on sugar. I took a quick shower and fell asleep for a couple hours only to be awoken by my macaw screaming. I am now very cranky and waiting for my barcelona to destroy celta vigo in a couple hours.

I will update you all on my next bowel movement. I am sure you are all concerned.

pics on the BM or it didn't happen Smiley lol

1518  Economy / Computer hardware / Re: WTS - 8,000 MH/s of ETH miners on: March 03, 2017, 04:47:44 PM
Pretty straight forward.

49x Rack mount 4u server chassis.  Each with 8x R9 380.  Total of 392 GPU over the 49 servers, cranking out over 8,000 MH/s.

Each box consumes 1 KW +-5%.

Asking $120,000

Sweet pics man!

very nice setup Smiley
1519  Economy / Collectibles / Re: Selling three 1 ounce gold bars on: March 03, 2017, 04:29:06 PM
I am almost certain that these would not pass the scratch test.

And I am 100% certain that you are certainly wrong. Please don't spread nonsense.

There are tons of these fakes on the internet, if these are real and you are just seeking spot price you can go almost anywhere and get near if not spot price for them

Well let's not jump to conclusions just yet please.
I sent the OP a PM and am willing to meet up locally as stated to purchase possible items we decide on once I get a reply.

I also stated I can verify the purity and validity of any of the gold or silver items that may be for sale as well.
So let's wait for a reply, and take it from there.

Thanks!

They look awesome with all the Kangaroos, now that BTC is worth more than Gold I wonder how many will move away from the metal and switch over?  Grin

I have plenty more gold and silver. I am actually getting rid of my foreign coins and bars in exchange for more bitcoin. But I will always keep some gold and silver bullion as well as my copper pennies. Nobody is getting near my American eagles  Grin

PM sent I am also in NY and can meet up with you to verify purity. Thanks!
