1501  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for August on: August 02, 2023, 11:20:10 AM
This July I'm surprised that it didn't break the $30k I predicted strong support going in the $30k level and staying there, but if there's another drop I welcome it and go for it this could be the last drop for this year then it will take off, provided there's no more bad news that could harm the market, there's a lot of surprises this year heading to the halving year, but I'm very positive that another all-time high is coming and we should prepare for it.
Bitcoin increased above $30000 several times in July. That means it breaks the $30000 resistance but it was unable to increase much above $30000 as the resistant price was $31800.

You need to know that bad news that can decrease the price of bitcoin can come at anytime unexpectedly. Also good news that can increase the price of bitcoin can come at anytime. People may not be expecting it at all. Saying there is no bad news that can further reduce the price of bitcoin is not accurate at all.
1502  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Multi asset mode on: August 02, 2023, 08:18:18 AM
Even Binance do delisted some of their BUSD pair in futures i dont know for what reason maybe BUSD still have ongoing issue with SEC
This is not even about the bears, as long as there is a coin on the multisig asset trading mode, you will be able to trade all listed pairs on the future trading platform, that is how it works.

Damn sorry man, for some reason I read OP and only caught Binance. Did Coinglass help you? I don't trade anymore but everyone I know seeing a peek at my old channels are doing derivatives using Coinglass. But of course only to view not to trade. I understand it shows liq charts from a lot of sources. I'm sure many have copied this now.
There is nothing like that on Coinglass. What I know is that, the people that are using an exchange and they saw the feature to be on the exchange, these are the people that can give you the accurate information needed.
1503  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do wager affect outcomes in any provably fair games on: August 02, 2023, 07:44:06 AM
How it works? like when we wager we have more probability to hit win, anyone noticed this? Do you know how it works and what is the calculation behind it?, do server sends outcomes by checking our wager?
It only just happened to you like that. For me, there are times my first wager will come out good. The luck comes at anytime. But if that is what you are doing to gamble and you are making profit, you can continue the strategy, but do not depend on it because betting is just luck and it comes at anytime. As for me, later watering is what I am very conscious about, for emotion not to build up to make me to be making wrong decisions.
1504  Economy / Speculation / Re: BTC Sentiment Poll for August on: August 01, 2023, 01:10:05 PM
Just like what we have predicted on this thread is happening: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5460216.msg62567787#msg62567787

I still remain bearish. But anything can happen, this is just a prediction. If bitcoin price plummet, $25000/$26000 would be a strong support.
1505  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Multi asset mode on: August 01, 2023, 01:04:49 PM
Have you also considered  coinbase, kucoin exchange, from my little research I understand they are top exchanger with good trading volume. And exchange with good liquidity can as well provided such multi-asset trading pairs. Usually if not for the delisting of this coin you mentioned above and from my understanding, you seems to have interest in those coin you mentioned than others. Most times it's pretty nice to use a regular exchange that supports your country or that has branch to your country just as Binance did.

I can't categorically say that I had an encounter with other exchange if not of Binance and Bundle though it's so painful to see an only app that eases trading for our country no longer exists., But however, when you look from coinmarketcap you would know there are lot of exchange but it all depends on how you put your trust in them I believe centralized exchange sometimes aren't to be trusted all time as they may fails.
We can not trade on Coinbase in my country. Let us forget that, but also that Coinbase do not allow derivative or margin trading because leverage trading is not allowed in United States.

Not on Kucoin.

You can not use Coinmarketcap to know about it. You can use Coinmarketcap to know the coins listed on an exchange and if an exchange also has derivative pair.

Do you think it will be ok to order a batch of video cards from China for mining ?
Video cards are graphics cards. If you want to mine bitcoin, you need ASIC. The best ASIC producer is Bitmain. You can check their website:

Assuming you have 1 BTC (bitcoin) before the fork, you will automatically have 1 BCH (bitcoin cash) which you can use your bitcoin private key to claim. With that, BCH too has the same supply of 21 million coins just like bitcoin. Also the BCH on other wallets after the fork was the same as the bitcoin circulatory supply at the time.

Few days ago Bet365 added Astropay as a deposit withdraw Method, deposit instant withdraw 1-3Hour max,we have enough experience About Bet365, But Astropay is new,so we have to gather knowledge,
Astropay is new or what did you say? I have used Astropay several times before to fund my bet365 account. But the disadvantage is that you can use it to deposit but you can not use it to withdraw.

Astropay : This is an international payment method, We can use it without vpn/proxy,transfer Money internationally, For verification they need id+ live selfie. This didn’t have closing issue like Skrill neteller. So this is the best time to use it,and Grab the opportunity,
In my country, I prefer to use the Mastercard given me by the bank that I am using. Mastercard has a better rate than using third-party services like Astropay.

Lets make money together,I Have enough Stock bet365+ Astropay, you can Place your order any time,i will provide the best service ever,Happy journey with @Mominurvai
Continue you scam attempt.

People should not buy gambling site account. This is against one of the Bet365 rules and if you are noticed to buy an account, your account would be blocked. Open an account (register), get verified and fund your account yourself.

Bet365 only restricted in just very few countries. If you are restricted, do not use the gambling site, look for other ways than to have deal with scammers that will scam you.
1509  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Multi asset mode on: August 01, 2023, 06:46:57 AM
To answer question above me, multi asset mode just means you can buy something using the combined usd value of all assets, instead of having to buy each asset pair. For example you have 100 LTC and 10000 DOGE you want to buy BTC normally you have to use LTC/BTC pair and DOGE/BTC pair. Multi asset means one trade.
You are correct, but not totally correct. With the multi-asset, you can use the coins that you have like 10 BTC, 5 LTC , 100 USDT to open position in USDT equivalent (not just a trade). If you want to be correct about that, derivative or future trading has to be mentioned.

Not the pair that you will use, I mean the part that I bolded. You have to use the coins. I can understand what you are trying to say and I know you know what it is.

To OP, don't go Bitget, bad things. I know more and more people using Bybit (check Coinglass for other derivatives).
I am using Bybit. I mentioned that in the OP. I only need one one trustworthy exchange for it.

The only exchange that I use for multi-asset mode is Bybit which is called unified trading account. I have been looking for another crypto exchange to trade more volatile assets that I can be able to use multi-asset mode with them or having a unified trading account. What other exchanges can you suggest?
1510  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Multi asset mode on: August 01, 2023, 05:55:39 AM
I will suggest Bitget. I recently signed up with them and apart from seeing most of the volatile assets I want to trade, I found some other interesting functions there which im still working on understanding better before using them. You will like the exchange.
Do not mind my question. Can you explain what I mean by multi-asset mode? The reason I asked is because I do not think that Bitget has it. Or I will like another person to let me know if this is true.

All I know is that it is also available on OKX, in fact they also have another mode option "margin portfolio" which I guess will enable all your portfolio as trade collateral. I haven't tried exploring further, so I don't know if they also did coin delist recently. Let's just say this isn't a suggestion. Grin
I think the multi-currrency mode is about using fiat to trade. I am not sure of that.

But what I am looking for is portfolio margin. If you need to trade with either multi-currrency or portfolio margin, you need at least $9900 worth if cryptocurrencies that you have on the exchange. It was reduced from $50000 to $9900.

I do not have up to $9900 that I can keep on an exchange. I have many exchanges and I do not even have up to that amount. When other exchanges make multi-asset mode to be possible with just $10 or less that you have on your exchange account, why OKX is very different.

I used to think Bitget was a cool exchange until I started seeing some accusations of them being scammers, and I don't think I could recommend anyone using that exchange again. I would feel so bad referring someone to an exchange, and they end up being scammed.
I too do not like exchanges of poor or bad reputation.
1511  Economy / Trading Discussion / Multi asset mode on: July 31, 2023, 06:53:05 AM
I have just noticed on Binance that Cardano (ADA) and Polkadot (D0T) have been delisted from their derivatives multi-asset mode. Solana which is more volatile was first delisted. The remaining ones are Bitcoin, Ether, Binance Coin and Ripple. While the other ones are stable coins like USDT, USDC, USDP, TUSD and BUSD.

The only exchange that I use for multi-asset mode is Bybit which is called unified trading account. I have been looking for another crypto exchange to trade more volatile assets that I can be able to use multi-asset mode with them or having a unified trading account. What other exchanges can you suggest?
1512  Economy / Exchanges / Re: All cryptocurrency are security asset except bitcoin - SEC on: July 31, 2023, 06:21:05 AM
As for me, any coin that has ICO, IEO or IDO are securities. Also any coin that is using proof of stake are securities. SEC needs to come up with a clear definition.
That makes sense, but problem is that some that meet the criteria you mentioned (like Ethereum forum example) are not seeing as security by SEC while some very similar (at least from what I know about those alts) like Solana or Cardano are seeing as security.
I think SEC do not have a clear definition about which cryptocurrencies are securities or not, that is true. But according to recent news, SEC is declaring all cryptocurrencies except bitcoin as securities.

This is 2018 news:

https://cassels.com/insights/sec-declares-bitcoin-and-ether-as-non-securities/#:~:text=On%20Thursday%2C%20June%2014%2C%202018,Ether%20or%20Bitcoin%20as%20securities.

Quote
On Thursday, June 14, 2018, the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission’s (SEC)  Director of Corporate Finance, William Hinman (Hinman), announced that the commission would not be treating Ether or Bitcoin as securities.

From around 2020 but which I may not be exactly accurate about, SEC has been going tough on ether too. Or probably when it goes from proof of work to proof of stake.

Last year or early of this year, SEC sees ether too as securities which I have seen on the news many times. But Commodity Futures Trading Commission (CFTC) sees ether as a commodity.

https://cointelegraph.com/news/cftc-calls-eth-a-commodity-in-binance-suit-highlighting-the-complexity-of-classification

Quote
CFTC calls ETH a commodity in Binance suit, highlighting the complexity of classification. The suit claims Binance used Ether as a commodity in its financial products, experts explained, which says little about the basic nature of the coin.

But this is what I know about the SEC:

SEC lawsuits: 68 cryptocurrencies are now seen as securities by the SEC
https://cointelegraph.com/news/sec-labels-61-cryptocurrencies-securities-after-binance-suit

Quote
SEC Chair Gary Gensler, however, has claimed that “everything other than Bitcoin” is a security that falls under the agency’s remit. Crypto data site CoinMarketCap lists around 25,500 cryptocurrencies in existence.

And truly, ether is a security.
1513  Economy / Exchanges / Re: All cryptocurrency are security asset except bitcoin - SEC on: July 31, 2023, 05:50:28 AM
Why will bitcoin be labelled unsafe and other cryptocurrencies termed as security assets? In reality, we know that bitcoin is the security cryptocurrency,
Bitcoin is safe and has a secure blockchain, but I think the volatile nature is what people do refer to when saying it is not safe. But if you can hold, you will later enjoy bitcoin as a store of value.

This did not take us to any news in particular.

Delisting all other cryptocurrencies except bitcoin would also have meant the end of cryptocurrency in the United States if other crypto sectors followed suit.
I think this would be too hash, but almost all cryptocurrencies are securities, including ether. There are few that are now like litecoin and few others.

Problem is that SEC doesn't have a very clear criteria how is something determined to be a security or not.
As for me, any coin that has ICO, IEO or IDO are securities. Also any coin that is using proof of stake are securities. SEC needs to come up with a clear definition.

I prefer to trade futures instead of margin. That is Binance. You can watch the tutorial from Binance academy: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=h5wZoNSynh8
That is Kucoin, not Binance, but from the Binance video tutorial, you can understand how to close margin trading by clicking on repay, that is how it works also on Kucoin and on other exchanges.

But if you need Kucoin video tutorial, you can watch this video officially from Kucoin: https://youtu.be/C0GZwE1wkSI

1515  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: A weird belief among some gamblers. on: July 29, 2023, 08:55:35 PM
So why this belief or do you think it could be true? Or is it one of those superstitious belief among gamblers?
Do you feel cool sharing your predictions with other people and how has the outcome been looking at all the times you have shared your predictions with others?
The gambler has staked already, so there is nothing that can change that, it is just a superstition if true that is the reason.

But we can think another reasons too. If I am the person that someone asked to stake the bet that I have staked, I will not answer the person if the person is a stranger or we do no know each other very well like a friend. I can let a my brother, family or a friend stake what that I staked, but not just anybody.

What makes what you are talking about to be valid and not fake?

No matter how religious my parent are, I will tell them the source of my money. If they are very religious, that should not affect what I should become. I will tell them and I definitely know that blood is thicker than water. I am good in the public, I am not a thief, I am not involved in any crime, so I am not a disappointment.

If I am the parent, I will only advice the child to use the money to establish, not to use it to gamble.
1518  Economy / Speculation / Re: The time has finally come...??? on: July 29, 2023, 09:57:34 AM
Please, read before replying, I don't need comments that are off point lol.

The last bull run had everyone on the tip of their toes, a lot of people strongly believed that Bitcoin's (BTC) price was going to reach, or possibly cross, the $100,000 price range, which never happened. And there were some who had unbelievable expectations like $500,000 and above, lol (we all know that's not happening anytime soon).
You were not on this forum at that time. When bitcoin got to $63500 the second time and increased to $69000 which was in November 2021, people have been thinking that the bull market would turn to bear market on this forum. Not long, the bear market started. We were not predicting all-time-high of $100000, only few thought of that.

Now with the recent events that have taken place, we all can see the bull rising off the dusts, we can almost tell it's about to happen again, maybe by next year or two.  Huh

I would love to know you all's predictions for the next bull. I'm thinking anywhere around $100,000? May looking at how far the previous bull runs were able to reach, I think that would be a good price to place it , but I'm still open to whatever wild opinions you all may have. Roll Eyes
We are now predicting all-time-high of over $100000 this time. I predict $170000.
1519  Economy / Scam Accusations / Re: Had 165k ETH stolen last night. on: July 29, 2023, 08:08:14 AM
Regarding the transaction and tracking it. You can hope the scammer makes a mistake and sends it to a CEX with a KYCed account. But even if they do, you'll have to file a police report with local authorities who will have to start an investigation. The exchange won't lock or freeze anyone's coins without proof and the involvement of a government agency.
It is also possible that the person did not send it to an exchange. Hackers are perfect in some ways. If an exchange is used and the person have scam tactics, it is possible that everything about the person is fake, like fake KYC. To know if the person sent it to an exchange, I think there are wallet explorer that can do that? Chain analytic organizations can also help him out, even beyond sending the money to an exchange.
1520  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is copy trading a viable option for newcomers? on: July 29, 2023, 07:58:03 AM
Copy trading has gained immense popularity in the crypto industry since its introduction. Bitget, being one of the pioneers in this field, remains one of the largest platforms for copy trading cryptocurrencies. Many consider it an appealing choice for beginners, but is it truly effective for those who are new to trading?
I have been seeing copy trading on many big exchanges, like Binance, Kucoin, Huobi and many mother exchanges. It is something that is no more new in crypto again.

About your question, I will advice beginners to learn trading. Because a leader trading (the person you are copying) is winning today, that does not means he will not have losses tomorrow.

Another thing is that the leverage you use and the leverage the lead trader use may be different. Your trade may have higher leverage and riskier. But you can easy know the leverage the lead trader is using.

Learn how to trade yourself is the best approach for trading.

Know that copy trading or not, trading your self or not, trading is very risky.
