521  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The scam of FAKE fixed matches on: January 31, 2024, 08:20:41 AM
It's not a telegram bookie.
It's a fully fledged website that looks somewhat realistic, but the "fixed" match advertised by the telegram group is actually not a real match, and no matter how hard you search for it you will always come up to that specific bookmarker website, which happens to be a fake bookmaker.
I thought it is a telegram gambling platform. But even if it is an online one that we can visit using its URL, they are not hard to know that they are scam. I have only prefer local casinos that are old and reputed already before I can decide to register on a gambling site, but when I come to this forum, I have the option to know that some new gambling sites are not fake, but still I do not do that to any gambling sites that are not on this forum signature campaign. Not having experience and also not knowing how to easily know scam sites has been the reason someone can fall for this.
522  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there Casinos that offer Birthday Bonuses to their users? on: January 31, 2024, 08:15:25 AM
So, like I said before, she's a worker there and not a customer, but am wondering if there are some online casinos out there that actually give their customers same treatment, like atleast, a $50 bonus on the customers birthday, I would love to join a casino like that  Grin.
This has not happened to me before. I have received bonuses from gambling sites before that is worth up to $25 and I have received several bonus worth of $5 before. I am not talking about Livecasino that do give some of his campaign participants bonuses. But talking about gift card or let us say bonus during my birthday, no casino have given me that before.

It is good to know that gift card are given to workers and not customers. Or let me say the ones that I know. If a user of a gambling site are to be given something, likely it would be a bonus and there might be rules that will make it difficult to get money out of the bonus.
523  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are there Casinos that offer Birthday Bonuses to their users? on: January 31, 2024, 07:50:19 AM
Your neighbor's wife is not a gambling site or a local casinos user or customer, she is a worker there.

The local casino gave her gift card that is worth $150. This is common in organizations people are working. Companies can give their workers gift card during birthday or during Christmas and other celebrations.
524  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: The scam of FAKE fixed matches on: January 31, 2024, 06:52:32 AM
If I hear of match fixing, I will stop because I have known already that it is a scam.

If it is a telegram bookie, I will stop and delete the scammer from my telegram. I do not gamble on telegram.

We can see some people that wants to try something like this or something similar on this forum, referring us to add them on telegram. From their approach on this forum, you will know that they are scammers.
525  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pay off DEBT by do Gambling? think again before you loss more on: January 30, 2024, 11:17:58 PM
There’s nothing wrong with gambling to make money; in an ideal world, people generally gamble to make or earn money. The biggest mistake would be gambling because you desperately need to raise some funds; you will make many misjudgements and end off worse
Gambling should be done not to make money, it should be done for fun. Most people that are addicted want to use gambling to make money is there problem and some of them are not in desperate need of money until gambling has collected enough from them. If you want to try and make money from gambling, do not go beyond weekly budget of 1 ro 5% that can not affect you emotionally and financially if you lose it.
526  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Pay off DEBT by do Gambling? think again before you loss more on: January 30, 2024, 11:02:50 PM
I have a friend back in school that told me he used his school fee money to gamble because he wanted to double it and use the profit for big boy things. He gambled all at ones and lost it all.

We heard on this forum about a school person that gambled with his school fees. He lost and killed himself.

It is not good to gamble because you want to earn money.
527  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Two casinos with Curaçao license but with different restricted territories list on: January 30, 2024, 12:41:40 PM
Licence from the same country does not mean the gambling sites will provide services to the same countries. All countries have different rules and regulations which can be similar but not entirely the same. Some gambling sites may obey the rules pertaining to gambling regulations in a country while the other gambling site may see it choking and avoid.
528  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Responsible Gambling Practices Most People Ignore and Sleep on on: January 30, 2024, 12:22:47 PM
It is good that you included 4 and 5 which are 'utilizing Self-exclusion programs by casinos and gambling community as support respectively'. But people that wanted to go for that means are not gambling responsibly no more but looking for ways to become not addicted gamblers again. Also in reality, most addicted gamblers will not go for such options. I see the first and the third which are 'setting limitations and financial management' to be more valid. Understanding the rules, regulations, policies, and conditions is good, for not to violate one of the gambling site rules but not related to responsible gambling.
529  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Confusion About Insider Gambling on: January 30, 2024, 11:37:06 AM
If that is what insider gambling is, it is not illegal. But I am referring to well known leagues and tournaments and not the small ones that can easily be manipulated. Manipulation in some small leagues will be more than what is called insider gambling.

If you want to bet on sport, bet some minutes to the matches and not some days or weeks before. Make sure you know the players that the couches want to use.
530  Other / Off-topic / Re: Before you start gambling, do some research first on: January 30, 2024, 11:22:35 AM
The person is working hard and spend the money he earned on gambling and he is not moving forward but stagnant like someone that has no job. That is enough to be a good lesson for him. If you still see that he continues to gamble, let him know that the ending will not still favour him. He will be regretting and thinking that he can still make money from gambling thinking that his strategies might work, tell him not to be deceiving him than not to gamble again until he has control over it. Gambling budget should not be more than 1 to 5% if his weekly income. If he is not gambling for fun, he should not be gambling is the best.
531  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: You can not win if you do not risk on: January 30, 2024, 10:40:54 AM
If you do not risky, you can not make money. But in gambling, risk what that you can afford to lose. Do not gamble because you want to make money, just gamble for fun.

Many might still believe that a gamblers who's just gambling at the first day might end up winning w huge amount of money that he wasn't expecting but the truth is that as long as you stake on bet you have already risk your money, be it big or small.
Do not believe this. Some gamblers will gamble at first and lose from the first time. I have friends that won the first day that they gamble and I saw friends that lost the first day that they gamble. I even have a close friend that gamble and lose on the first day and not gambling again.
532  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: If a addict lives within, which method would you choose to help them on: January 30, 2024, 10:34:29 AM
I can not be harsh because someone is a gambler. But I will first be somehow harsh so that the person can know how serious I am. But I will have no alternative way than to understand him and let him know how addiction will not help him. Gambling should just be for fun. If you are gambling and you are not having the fun but you are having losses, not able to manage your money, then that person should stop gambling.

Like I always said, there are many life examples about how gambling destroyed some people's lives, also about people that commit suicide because they gamble and lose, they kill themselves. All these should be enough as an advice to let him know that gambling is not a way to look for money.
533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Relationship Between Cryptocurrency and Traditional Banking on: January 30, 2024, 10:19:30 AM
Cryptocurrencies are not threats to traditional banks. Many countries banned bitcoin and all other cryptocurrencies in the past but after some of them are knowing about what cryptocurrencies are, they unban them. Since today, all countries that accept cryptocurrencies and the ones that are very friendly with them have no problem, there banking sector has no problem. You can even see in those countries that some banks are allowed to hold coins and tokens for their customers. Banks can even embrace cryptocurrencies.
534  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Best ASIC for this power cost? on: January 29, 2024, 03:44:44 PM
You are probably on a low protein diet.

The OP pays $0.20 KW/h. In which part of the world this is considered cheap? I already pointed out solar may not be cheaper also.
It has not gotten up to this. People disagree to agree and some people will disagree to disagree. You can correct people without any abusive word. I can understand what you mean. That $0.2 per Kilowatt hour is costly. You are not wrong about that. In my country, the electricity cost in my area is $0.05 Kilowatt hour. That is how electricity is costly in developed countries. I think he will come from United States because that electricity consumption charges is similar to US electricity electricity charges.
535  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Why do many people fail in trade? on: January 29, 2024, 03:27:07 PM
Traders that are losing are far more than the traders that are making money from trading.

The best way to trade is to begin with appropriate plan for money management. I am still resting since this year began, I did used just 5% for trading from my weekly income.

Trading can disappoint you but you will not disappoint yourself by not spending the amount of money that you can not afford to lose.

Risks management is very important in trading. Followed by having technical strategies to win than lose and learn about indicators.
536  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are every activities/competitions with stake known to be gambling? on: January 29, 2024, 09:58:31 AM
If there is no money involved, it is not gambling. If there is money involved, it is called gambling.
You know that opinion on this differs right?

Not every one agrees that money has to be involved before it is called gambling.

This is one topic I started last year that really showed that opinions on what gambling is and is not really differs from person to person.
Without money, does it still qualify as gambling?

Quote
Have you heard of Superpicks on DSTV? where you can make predictions and win money without staking your money?

if you have not, check it out. Superpicks.com

My question is can it still be called gambling if it is not played with money?
Making predictions without using your money to either win or lose is not gambling. There is no different opinion about this. If you are gambling, it means you are putting your own money at risk in order to either win or lose in a bet, like on bookies and on casinos. If you disagree, it means you disagree to what other people are posting and also you disagree to what gambling actually is. People do not gamble for free.
537  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Are every activities/competitions with stake known to be gambling? on: January 29, 2024, 06:38:54 AM
So far you stake your money, it is gambling. In fact, that is what that makes it to be called gambling. Gambling means you are risking your money on betting. Gambling has been existing since the old age when there are no casinos and bookies.

If there is no money involved, it is not gambling. If there is money involved, it is called gambling.
538  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: No KYC Crypto Trading Platforms on: January 28, 2024, 09:33:47 PM
Since it’s a scam site won’t signature campaign give them more exposure?

Instead of a signature campaign they should run a review campaign – since the Op is trying to defend the site, they should go ahead and organize a review campaign so that forum members can prove to them just how shady the site really is.
Scammers will not go for any advertisement because they might lose than gain. But starting with a review campaign can be good. I am sure be it signature or review campaign, scammers do not budget for the money that would be paid. So he will not be capable because scammers do not think like that. They do not want to give but only collect most of the time.
539  Bitcoin / Mining / Re: Best ASIC for this power cost? on: January 28, 2024, 09:29:50 PM
You shouldn’t be mining with that electricity cost. Either build a solar setup (it still may not be cheaper) or just invest in crypto instead. People don’t sell their miners for a good price when it is profitable to mine anyway. Mining is a fool’s game unless your electricity is nearly free.
You are funny. If someone is in a country with cheap electricity, you will still tell the person to buy solar. Solar is not cheap at all and its maintenance can be costly. Cheap public electricity would be better.
540  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: No KYC Crypto Trading Platforms on: January 28, 2024, 09:24:40 PM
I’ve asked this question countless times and so have other members – how do you guys come across sites that are barely even up to a month old?
Can't you see that he is likely a scammer? He did not see the site from anywhere but likely he is the scammer. One of the owners of the scam trading platform which he said no kYC needed.

Did you read the description carefully ?

>>> Description:  A new platform
It is new platform as a description says.

Also could you explain how someone could be scammed on this website? While there's no minimum deposit and you can deposit 1$ even to try ?

You registered on this forum some hours ago.

The domain of the site you are advertising was registered on January 9 2024 which is not more than two weeks ago.

Your site is not showing any sign that it is not for scam.

People should avoid your site because it is highly likely it is for scammers.
That means you are not serious.

New sites will have ways of making people to know their sites. Most importantly is the advertisements. Scammers that only have the intention to scam will not want to advertise but look for people to scam easily like you are doing.

You can let us believe by beginning with signature campaign on this forum. Advertise your service.

No one will use a site that their owners are not encouraging people to join, letting people to know that you are capable.

With what I still see about your site, people should avoid it.
