621  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Who is the money manager? is it a casino or game provider? on: January 11, 2024, 07:07:54 AM
So who actually manages finances? is it the casino itself or the game provider? Does the casino only get a commission from the game provider or buy the game license from the game provider?
There would be an agreement between the casino and the game providers. The agreement will be that they will pay the game providers certain amount of money for providing them games that their customers will gamble with, but the casino itself will manage the finances and not the game provider. The game provider will manage only the money the casino paid them and that has nothing to do with the casino customers money that the casinos are the ones that will manage it.
622  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Do you think women will make better gamblers by their nature? on: January 10, 2024, 10:59:34 PM
But how is this related to gambling discussion? For women to be gambling instead of men if they can have better self-control or what are you talking about? If I should tell my mind, this kind of thread is not needed at all and it belongs to off-topic.

If most women can know how to manage more than most men, that is the reason you will see just few women that are gambling, unlike we men. If women are gambling, some may also be prone to addiction.
623  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Does it looks responsible as woman telling husband you gamble? on: January 10, 2024, 10:06:34 AM
@SmartGold01. If your conscience is judging you, that means you want to be very faithful to your husband. Then why not tell him? But the problem is for you not to tell him and he starts to like to gamble and get addicted. If you gamble responsibly since, your husband might not talk about it. But in anything someone do responsibly, not likely that someone's husband will against it. But always gamble responsibly. Just 1% to 5% of your income is enough and it should not be more than that amount.
624  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Long-term profitable strategies on: January 10, 2024, 07:09:33 AM
Profit strategy in gambling? This will only let most gamblers (I am talking about the beginners) to think that there are ways to earn money from gambling. I have looked for profit strategies in gamble in the past and I was gambling daily at the time but the losses were more. The only profit I made, maybe because I am gambling less and just going for one or two but not more than 3 games weekly.

There may be some profit strategy, I do not know but even if there are profit strategies, people should not think it will always work for them. It may be deceiving.
625  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Hold than trade. Just don't use leverage, futures. on: January 10, 2024, 06:29:50 AM
Within several minutes, SEC. and their hoax triggered both Long liquidation and Short liquidation in Bitcoin market.
Definitely you are not a trader if you are just noticing this.

I can say that holding is better than trading, but the volatility that you are talking about was not that much. Bitcoin did not fall more than $2300. It only dropped to $44700.

Can you remember the volatility before that time that occur like a week or two weeks ago? Bitcoin decreased by $4500 to $4600 when it fall from $45700 to $40200.

Also in the past, we have seen much volatility before several time. It is not about not using leverage at all but not to use too much leverage.
626  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What is the difference between crypto trading and traditional stock trading on: January 09, 2024, 09:20:15 PM
I can see my friends that are crypto traders talking about pips and lots. The way we calculate in crypto trading is not like that and straight forward. We do not make use of pips and lots to calculate.

In crypto trading, no closing, it is 24/7. But forex closes during weekend.

In technical analyses, they are all similar.

If you want to learn about crypto trading, make sure you trade with the amount of money that you can afford to lose because it is risky and highly volatile are cryptocurrencies.

Trade coins like bitcoin and not shit coins.

In crypto trading, there are two markets and they are: spot market which uses the spot or real price if cryptocurrencies, while the second one is derivative trading which are if different types like the future, perpetual and option. There is another type which is margin trading that uses the spot price.

If you want to learn about trading, most trading sites that I know have trading guides that you can search for on their exchange and they are in articles and videos.
627  Other / Off-topic / Re: Who does gambling addiction affect the most? on: January 09, 2024, 05:31:48 PM
So I want to ask, between the gambling addict and his immediate family, who does the addiction affect the most?
The gambling addict will suffer if he continues to gamble, but if he is the bread winner of his family as a husband and his wife is not financially okay, the children and the wife may also later be affected. In a family where the father and mother do not depend on the child, they have nothing to suffer. But anyone that depends on a gambling addict and if the gambling addict is severely affected, those that depend on the addict may suffer financially. That is why it is not good to be dependent but also not good to waste money on gambling so that those that depend on your will also not suffer.
628  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Cointelegraph has the worst price analysis articles on: January 09, 2024, 12:22:11 PM
It is not only cointelgraph but all other analyses. Do you think it is a lie that you should not believe in analysts? As one analysts will say that it is bull run, another analyst may say that it is bear market.

It is analyst that will say after bitcoin has fallen to certain price, that the price will fall more. And that if the price has increased to certain price that there may be resistance. And something like that bla bla bla. Do not take all these analyses seriously because if you stop reading cointelgraph analyses and move to another one, you will later still be disappointed.

Cointelgraph also always conclude their analysis with this or something like this:

This article does not contain investment advice or recommendations. Every investment and trading move involves risk, and readers should conduct their own research when making a decision.
629  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The Honduras Special Zone officially recognizes Bitcoin as a unit of account on: January 09, 2024, 11:48:05 AM
This is a good news, but if I see prices in fiat, I think that is good that way. But maybe this can make people to be aware of bitcoin by seeing things in bitcoin price also, but I do not think if this move is necessary or not. I think accepting bitcoin as a legal tender is enough but I may not be right about this.

with the way things are appearing nowz it's likely we see more countries making bitcoin adoption a legal tender this year due to what we are receiving from some of them as a positive indication that could rises interest on bitcoin adoption by the government, unlike the previous times that Bitcoin had been suffering alot of threats from governments and they have a wrong interpretation of what this digital currency is.
There is no other country than Argentina that we heard of that will likely make bitcoin a legal tender, but we still not yet know if this would be what will happen. Also it is good to know that it is not Honduras that made bitcoin a legal tender but an island called Prospera in Honduras which is full of tourists. What that is most important is not about countries to legalize bitcoin as a legal tender, but to be a friendly bitcoin nation.
630  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will any other coins like Bitcoin be discovery in the future? on: January 09, 2024, 11:40:10 AM
Bitcoin is a decentralized currency It is very difficult to say whether such coins like Bitcoin will be discovery in the future. But in my opinion such coins will not be another discovery.
There is nothing impossible. There can be another coin that may be invented that will not make use of blockchain but decentralized and deflationary which will also be called a digital currency. But such a coin will have most characteristics that bitcoin is having and people may still call it an altcoin.

They created many altcoins and say their coins are Bitcoin killers but those coins die with time. Those coins fail to kill Bitcoin even you talk about Bitcoin Forks.
Bitcoin forked coins existed but they become not successful as bitcoin. That is true. Most altcoins are shit coins. But there are some like ethereum that supposed to be good but they are centralized and become a security instead of been a commodity like bitcoin.
631  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: What do you think about NewCryptoCasinos.com ? on: January 09, 2024, 11:05:18 AM
I can see the lists of best crypto casinos 2024. Why not add livecasino.io? You can go through the casino and see how it is. It is a good casino and you can add it to your review. Make use of it for some weeks or months and you will have good review about the casino.
632  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Marketplace (Altcoins) / Re: Can anyone take a Binance ID transfer of .006135 BNB and transfer .005 to Stake on: January 08, 2024, 10:59:08 PM
You want to send someone 0.006135 BNB through Binance ID so that the person can help you deposit 0.005 BNB to your Stake account.

Minimum withdrawal on Binance is 0.009 BNB on BSC network while 0.01 BNB minimum withdrawal on BEP20 which I think Stake will be accepting.

Why withdraw such low amount? Not even up to $2.
633  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Trading bots on Binance on: January 08, 2024, 05:11:24 PM
Because you make $2 with the help of trading bots and you think that those bots are helpful. Know that you can also make money while trading without any bots. Know that you can make use of bot and still have losses. Be careful with bots. As they are profitable they can also bring losses just like trading manually.

MOVR and ARB/USDT? how was it?
i think you should be on BTC/USDT, this is the most traded pair. this is got to be the best pair to make money. which TF did you try this on the spot?
Be clear about this. Are you saying he should not make use of trading bot or he should also not make use derivative trading? Because BTC/USDT is for spot market while BTCUSDT is for derivative market.
634  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Woes of gambling on: January 08, 2024, 02:29:10 PM
Take casino games for example especially jackpot casino games there is no way you can tell me that all of them are structured in such a way that they randomly always make money for the house if you ask me gambling is a fraud that has been used to trick people into believing that their choices matter it does not everyone that gambles is just there to make money for the casino unfortunately there is nothing that can be done about human nature
Gambling should be for fun. If you want to have fun, you can gamble. If you want to make money, do not gamble at all. See gambling as a service rendered for people to have fun and nothing more. And if you want to have the fun, just use little amount of money for gambling which will not affect your life negativity.

One example is like you went to drink beer and you always drink to stupor. The people that make you to have have fun by serving you drinks will make money from you but not that you should waste money to drink to stupor. See gambling sites like that.
635  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Will you be worried or comfortable seeing your elderly mother gambling? on: January 08, 2024, 09:42:36 AM
Why should I not be comfortable if she is gambling responsibly. But I will prefer she should do it online instead of offline using betting agent. Because as I saw that image, that is a betting agent shop and I will not like to see my mother there. This is because in my country, only young guys are common in such a place and that would be an embarrassment for my mother and me. But if it is online that she is doing it, I will not be worried at all if she is gambling responsibly.
636  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which one did you use to gamble with more on: January 08, 2024, 09:31:13 AM
The systematic reasons to place stakes before the game starts is basically not just a destination for the newbie.
The earlier you places your bet the better chances you stands to secure higher odds of the game else if you places your stakes lately at the approach of the games kickstarts has you the tendencies of the game odds reduction.

It depends. As the match is approaching and if a club is not using one or two of their key players, the odd may not reduce. Another thing is that if an in-play began and no club scored yet, the higher would be the odd.

The disadvantage of what you meant is that if a club do not later use their first 11, the match might go against them. It is good to place bet closer to the day of the match, after you have known the full names of the players that the club is using.
637  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is It Still Ok To Buy BTC At $43875 ? on: January 08, 2024, 07:22:10 AM
You ask a question and also you answered the question yourself. If you know how to invest and when the invest and the reason to invest, why come up with this thread.

Consider diversifying your investments and not putting all your funds into a single asset, especially a highly volatile one like Bitcoin.
I will not say people should not diversify but they should do it wisely. Altcoins are gambling, you can see how they increase significantly recently and now dumping significantly when bitcoin price is not really falling. Altcoins are gambling.
638  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Mental rehabilitation clinic. on: January 07, 2024, 09:59:55 AM
What arguments will you give? What will you tell the patient about?
I am not a doctor and I do not know how gambling addicts are treated. Even if I know some, I can not be better like those that are specialized in the area.

Please note that the patient will resist to the last. He will give counterarguments. For example, that he will get rich in the future, he’s just not lucky yet.
What other arguments do you think the patient will give? How do you respond to these arguments of his?
You will let him know how foolish he is. But not telling him he is foolish and not telling him what can make him angry. You can all see what gambling does to addicts. I will try to use that to convince him with true life stories of some addicts.
639  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sports betting arbitrage on: January 07, 2024, 08:27:12 AM
Have any of you tried to make money this way? what difficulties did you encounter?
I prefer football. I have looked for ways to make money through it but all I noticed was that it only reduce the loss or the winning. I have heard that some people tried it, bet on the available odds of the category and still won some money no matter what the outcome would be. Probably winning possibility may be seen in some other sport betting.

what difficulties did you encounter?
The odds were not favoring in a way I can turn in to profit.

What bookmakers did you use?
Have any of you had problems with bookmakers because of this?
You can use any bookmakers for it. If the odd category are 3, all you have to do is to place the 3 bets on 3 bookmaker sites and you have no problem and nothing to be worried about.

Why does it bother them anyway?
That bothers the gambling site? How can someone bet on all the odd category like team 1 win, draw and team 2 win and still win some money. No bookmarker will want that.
640  Economy / Speculation / Re: Is the bull run begun ? on: January 07, 2024, 07:12:53 AM
I think the bull market began when we first heard about this Blackrock ETF. Right now I wouldn’t say it’s beginning. Maybe we are in the middle of it or even towards the end.
We are not towards the end of the bull run at all and we are not yet in the middle. Let us expect the 2024/2025 to be for the bulls. Which means this could be the beginning of the beginning of the bull run that we are talking about. Although last year was also bull run period.

If you meant that will bitcoin and crypto continue going up in price from here, I really don't know. If I knew when the prices would go up, I'd go all in with leverage lol. But alas, we can't predict the future so we should position our funds carefully.
I also really do not know but I know that those who hold and not selling their coins will not regret. With 1x or 2x leverage, opening a long position can be good, but with just like 30% of your holding.
