He really took that kid's mocking personal. Indeed he gave Pereira the fast track to get a title shot even when he only has a few fights in UFC. But this time Pereira will really take the hard road going up which if he goes up to LHW, a losing streak awaits. 1 loss out of 5. is a good winning week for me.
Perhaps Alex Periera will have a really hard time competing in the light heavyweight division, but don't forget that he was a Glory Light Heavyweight Champion (2-1). Definitely, Dana White will give Pereira a fast track to compete for the title shot in the Light Heavyweight because he's already established his name, he just needs to win one against someone in the top 5. Pereira won't have such a hard time to make it to light heavyweight and actually would be better suited in that weightclass division since he is natural LHW. That is his walking around weight. There was a video he put out on his youtube announcing he will be moving up in weightclass and has been stated on the well known source site below: https://mmajunkie.usatoday.com/2023/04/former-ufc-champ-alex-pereira-announces-move-to-light-heavyweight-this-will-be-better-for-meNext week will be Max Holloway vs Arnold Allen. The most exciting fight in this card is Clay Guida vs Rafa Garcia.
I am also looking forward to The Carpenter fight against Rafa too. Just hope there isn't another fighter who needs to pull out due to an illness or injury causing a cancellation. This is getting to be the norm lately for these fight nights the last couple of months.

VanEck only has their eyes set on bringing an ETF to the United States regardless if they mention it or not. It is the underlying reason for them being interested in bitcoin at all. Greyscale and them have spent alot of time fighting with the SEC to get it's approval for several years. Here is an article which came out last night regarding the current ETFs that have performed better than many other funds over the course of the year: https://blockworks.co/news/crypto-etfs-blockchain

Almost went for NBA and luckily did not, would have bet on losing teams, I'm sure I'm not the only one cursing Miami Heat lol
With all the playoffs happening, I wonder if in NBA there are teams that complain from having too many games like in football, as they seem to play so often anyway, or is this never an issue?
Google search doesn't bring anything for me.
Did anybody find good CL specials?
Miami losing the first night of these play-in matches was the first upset but certainly not the last. But just watching the matches last night it seems the Heat are playing the Bulls since they eliminated the Raptors out of it's playoff contention. Timberwolves beating the Lakers have set them up against the Thunder. Atleast now we can finally start the play-offs this weekend. As for the issues with playing too many games in certain amount of time. I would say not. Basket-ball players are different sort of athlete. They can run up and down the court and either sides are allowed unlimited substitutions every few minutes so not to tire their players out. My first bet on the Champions league was a lost bet. Only off by 1 goal for the Manchester City match to win $300. For the Real Madrid match my bet was off by 3 goals. So I imagine my next bet will be off by 5 goals. That is why I should stop betting on the CL while I still have a balance so I can bet on the EPL for the weekend.

^^ But he is the only driver that is getting paid and sitting on the sidelines of an F1 team and not sweating it one bit. If he demanded $10mln from Haas then you can imagine how much Red Bull is paying him now just to be the third driver. F1 drivers get paid bank amounts for not even being active I assume. I remember only one occasion did a backup take the wheel of a race last season.

Was watching a rather entertaining introduction video (coming back to Red Bull since leaving 2018 if you can call it an intro) of Daniel Ricciardo hamming it up with other champions of their sports racing him in their own vehicles around the Outback. F1 Car vs Outback | Daniel Ricciardo's Great Aussie Road Triphttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=FIGP0KFwRbQAlso another interesting article about when Steiner says they had the option to bring Ricciardo onto the Haas team but he was asking too much out of their team budget:

After hearing that win of Drake's bet of Adesanya by KO I remember making the same bet but of course not for nearly a million stake amount on the bet, the odds were 4.10x on the bookmaker I had placed the bet on. So that was a nearly 4 million win just on that one bet since it was $900,000 according to one source when I first heard of the bet placed. That must of been on an instagram post or something because I still haven't seen the winning betslip of that yet. But just ran into this video of Adin Ross who was a pretty big streamer on youtube/twitter before they disallowed them from livestreaming of gambling a couple of months ago. Adin Ross received a DM from Adesanya on Twitter https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UoIhOMYA30sAlso Adesanya also posted on his own youtube channel his reaction to the knockout after all partying into the night at Miami. Now that BTC has improved itself into the next bullrun up to over $30.5k rising $2k within the past 24 hours, we can discuss this documentary which I found while searching youtube a few months ago: Crypto: The World’s Greatest Scam. by James Janihttps://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ORdWE_ffirgSo don't get put off by the name of the video as it just their viewpoint by this rather well known youtuber who usually does a thorough investigation for subjects that he reports on, does explain why they have come to this conclusion about bitcoin being the world's greatest scam.

So these two are 1-1. Most definitely another one is in the works but doubt for this year.
Why not we still have nine months this year anything can happen and there are a lot of surprises that are going to happen, Adesanya still owe Pereira two wins and this win is as spectacular as their second match in the Glory boxing where Pereira knocks Addy cold but I don't think the third match should be immediate, both of them should have one fight to other top fighters and if they can win dominantly in the top fighter in the division they can still have a trilogy. It's bound to happen if both Addy and Alex stay in the middleweight or they can do it in the light heavyweight. Yes but Alex Pereira has taken a medical suspension due to the nature of that knockout putting him out cold for several minutes. The doctors that look after those fighters have already mandated he take six months off of fighting and the UFC organization has to follow this protocol for all their fighters. https://firstsportz.com/ufc-alex-pereira-next-fight-what-next-for-poatan-after-brutal-ufc-287-loss/As the article describes it, Pereira will probably go for a title shot with Jamal Hill but in a different divisional weight-class. And Adesanya will probably fight the only other fighter who has beaten him Jan Blachowicz but then moving up a weight-class Pereira will be there waiting for him and then we can have that trilogy. Israel Adesanya: 'I Do Not Want to Fight the Same Guy Three Times in a Row' | UFC 287https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xqp7pMCGW_sI personally would like to see Israel fight John Jones but the guys on MMAFightingSBN had already mentioned one fighter which would blow the masses away if they ever fought each other. It was confirmed yesterday on the sportschat that the base bonuses for weekly and monthly have been removed by stake. During the past two livestreams inwhich the owner Eddie had also mentioned that they will no longer be including these amounts in the calculations of their weekly and monthly bonuses given to their players which started earlier last month. So if you also noticed your amount of gameplay was cut out of the equation for your weekly, then your not alone. He also explained that the table games such as stake originals Blackjack which has a low house edge of less than 0.5% will also not count. Well this is another way of them saying that those regular amounts all players were expecting are being cut off indefinitely.

I am in favor of a third fight of the two in the UFC. That Adesanya lost a couple of times to Pereira in kickboxing is not part of the story anymore. That's just history that isn't even MMA. The UFC record is 1-1 to both Pereira and Adesanya. So it is fair to have a third match if only to break the tie.
That was a great match. The first one was also a great match. There is no reason to deprive MMA fans of another great match in a second UFC rematch. Both fighters deserve it also.
If only Pereira survived those counterblows, this could have easily been a repeat of their first match. But Pereira was also the one who got saved by the bell in their first fight. A third fight is needed.
I didn't expect Adesanya to be able to win TKO from Pereira, he seemed to have prepared everything from the start, this was Adesanya's first win against Pereira, I'm sure there will be another match between the two that will take place in the next few years I can say that the two of them have an eternal rivalry, apart from that Israel's Adesanya uses the "mocking" celebration that Pereira's son did to him first. really entertaining The fight could end with either of them winning via knockout. They both have the power. So the knockout win could come from Adesanya or Pereira. They're also very eager to prove something. Although I really want to see a tie breaker, it seems the interest to have a rematch is very low. Dana White is not interested. Even Pereira himself is not interested anymore. Adesanya has also declared that he is not anymore interested in facing Pereira once more. So the rivalry is not eternal. It has already ended. Alex Pereira is planning on moving up to 205 from 185 which he cut weight so to accommodate continue fighting in this weight-class. Dana White even confirmed this during the post-fight press conference so don't expect them to fight anytime soon. Plus, Pereira is not allowed to fight for another six months due to the nature of that knockout according to UFC rules and doctors are obligated too not allow fighters to take on another fight so soon afterwards. https://www.mma-core.com/videos/Alex_Pereira_is_GETTING_six_month_SUSPENSION_following_KO_loss_Israel_Adesanya_refuses_REMATCH/10501497So don't expect Alex Pereira in octagon until the fourth quarter of the year and he will possibly be fighting in the light heavyweight division at that time.

hahaha overconfidence kills, I saw that in Alex last night, he kept talking between rounds, trying to get into Izzy's head, but Izzy was too smart, stuck to his game plan, set a trap for his overconfidence, lured him in, and countered.
Israel made us proud and showed the world that he is still a formidable fighter. Who would have guessed a KO? Israel did it for the culture. Perhaps fighting without the weight of defending the championship belt made him more comfortable to express himself. A lot of talk before the fight, but his victory has validated it all. Anthony Joshua is back, Adesanya is back, Usman Kamaru should be the next to get back to winning ways. There are a couple of more you missed but one more I can currently think of who is active in the UFC: Sodiq Yusuff He congratulated Israel right after the match with a tweet. There is anther one about Pereira's son coming back for revenge against that act after the match in anime form of course. https://twitter.com/Super_Sodiq/status/1645555710984622081Very funny stuff and Adesanya is just taking this all in stride and just laughed it off during the post interviews. "If you can crawl we can brawl!" source: https://ca.sports.yahoo.com/news/ufc-287-israel-adesanyas-post-fight-celebrations-come-full-circle-for-cold-revenge-155951859.htmlThe main media are just rolling with it and it would make a great revenge story ark for his anime studio when he retires from the UFC.
