Today was ought to be a great day for 2nd round of Men's single in French Open but the rainfall in Paris suspended most of the matches. Angry fans got their tickets returned. The only match that's going on is Andrey Rublev vs Pedro Martínez where Rublev already have a two set advantage and would likely win on straight sets.

Another final with Falcons winning 3-0 but this time it was against Gaiming Gladiators who didn't manage to win a single map besides the fact that they picked Wraith King in 2 maps ( the most broken hero of current patch ) and yet couldn't win. I'm personally tired of Falcons already and hopefully they will not continue this streak because the fans were unhappy today with current situation of Dota 2 and how only 3 teams manage to reach finals and only one of them is winning...so yea , Dota 2 should be a game of variety and not dedicated for just 1 team when they make a new patch.
They wouldn't win if they pick the most broken hero because the teams that would be going up against those broken heroes are going to find a way to counter them or at least remove other heroes that will synergize with them, that's why they're professional at what they do, they look at what's broken at the current meta and then they try and find the weaknesses to hopefully counter it in the case that they're not able to pick it. I'm not keeping up with the current meta of the game but if that's what you said is true, I think that it's probably time for other teams to be investing in their players because if you want to get the really good ones, you should be willing to shell out a lot of money to get the good teams, I mean it would be weird if you complain about this kind of thing and then you don't invest on getting the really good players when oftentimes, it's all a matter of how huge the offer is compared to the other teams, it would be a good news for the players if this ever happens or if that's not the case, I guess they just need to get good at how they play and learn to synergize with their teammates. The first big sign of this was the Lambo giveaway which took weeks and weeks to settle and now this Lottery, which is the one thing you know happens on time, is also delayed.

Leclerc wins this race in his home country for the first time. What was even more of a surprise hearing he had not received a podium at Monaco in his career either. The patch only gave them more options due to the new meta heroes becoming another problem. Also, they didn't allow Storm Spirit to end up in Gaimin Gladiator's hands throughout the series after that previous one-sided win from the upper final. With DreamLeague finishing earlier today, we still have the IEM Dallas scheduled next. Looking at the matchup for Group A we could get a Vitality vs Mouz rematch while for Group B Team Spirit vs Navi could be an interesting matchup for the next round if Navi doesn't disappoint.   Looking forward to the next Intel Extreme Masters tournament but Dallas has been hit by storms during the past week. Just hope this doesn't affect this event in any sort of way. It probably isn't in the same area but some other sporting events have been postponed due to the human death toll in the entire state. Fantastic first round at the French Open tomorrow
Zverev vs Nadal might be expected to be the best first match at this GS, but I don't see Nadal being able to play up to 5 sets, and also Zverev who is in his best form after winning the Italian Masters looks difficult for Nadal to beat in 3 straight sets, but we can still expect world class play in this match and my prediction is that Zverev wins 3-0 or 3-1.
Djokovic lost to Thomas Machac at the Geneva Open, he still hasn't shown his best performance but his competitors at the French Open still have to be wary of him possibly bouncing back in this GS, especially since he hasn't won a single title and there are 2000 points he has to defend to remain number one in the world.
Sinner and Alcaraz are certain to play so the competition will be very tight to become the French Open champion this time.
It took only 3 sets and Nadal got blanked going 3-0 to the younger Zverev and this showed in the way he was on the court. He didn't have that same spark you get from watch a Rafa match and I think that was his last swan song of his career. Just from the way he was talking during the post match interview about how is will be 38 year old the next time he comes to this court at Roland Garros. Like clockwork, every 7 days the lottery list gets published by the FreeBitco.in twitter account, except this past Sunday they did not publish it for the first time in as long as I can remember. They’ve had this provably fair system since 2018 where the ticket list gets automatically posted on twitter. Something is clearly going wrong and the community which has trusted them with their BTC deserve some answers.
They could easily make a statement saying they are upgrading their servers or something and that’s why they have problems with emails and the lottery. By staying silent it only creates speculation that they might be in the process of exit scamming.
Hate to say it and add to the growing list of posts here but the site which has been known for everything about reliability is now starting to look like it is losing the handle for reliability/stability. You see from the top view camera angle and the ball clearly flips out from scope of the cylinder they usually make the judgement of the call. I went with the unpopular opinion and back the Dallas Mavericks when they had a 1-point lead towards the end of 3rd quarter, My sole reason for that was because of how Kyrie has been playing all night, and I believe if the Timberwolves have attempted way more 3 point and have knocked down significant number of it but still can get a decent separation, that could mean trouble is lurking around for the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Congrats on your live Mavs bet, i'm surprised that the odds were a bit high at the time. The Timberwolves were close to building their lead by at least double digits before the second quarter ended, but the Mavs kept it together in the last few possessions. Then that back and forth during the fourth quarter with 3 minutes left made it feel like it could've gone either way, but the Mavs quickly brought it back with the double three-pointer while the Timberwolves couldn't get a bucket until the final minute. The loss of the TWolves was due to a bad call by the refs towards that Kat dunk. They say the shot from the previous attempt was within the cylinder of the basket. So Towns dunk did not count which would of tied it with just over a minute and a half left in the game. That was when Luka was on that 9-0 point run and counting that basket from Kat Towns would of switch that momentum the Mavs had to win the game. Hard loss by Minnesota so hopefully they can comeback in tonight's game along with the Pacers who are at Boston. |
