In my opinion, I think since they know what the world is demanding for right now, they see it as an opportunity to still market here. I've posted it before: legit sellers have no reason to sell it here. They can call any company or even any country and sell as much as they can deliver. Scammers on the other hand have all the reasons to sell here. They may not even have masks. Bitcointalk offers the freedom to post almost anything, and unfortunately that includes letting scammers have their way.

The reply i made in that very topic has the delete option in the post history unlike other replies It's a bug I saw before, but I only now notice something else: I always thought I could use my own post history to quickly delete all posts (using middle-mouse, opening and deleting them in a background tab). I already knew the bug that I would see a Delete button in the post history of anyone who posted in my topics, even when they're not Self-moderated. But I only now found out that Delete button in my post history only appears with my own posts if I made them in my own topic! That changes the solution a bit, but it's still pretty quick. Timmzzy: open a page in your post history, click each post you want to delete with your middle mouse button (this opens it in the background). When you have 20 open tabs, Ctrl-Tab through them, use your middle-mouse on the delete button, and close the tab (Ctrl-W). This will take only half an hour, which is nothing compared to time you spent spamming bounties. I appreciate cleaning up your bountry trail ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif)

Loyce how do you come up with your passwords? My password manager creates them. I hear using a phrase is more secure than random characters, but that seems like it’d be easier to crack? You mean like this: ![Image loading...](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Fimgs.xkcd.com%2Fcomics%2Fpassword_strength.png&t=663&c=NaIO-kYT-5EwZA) I don't believe this. A dictionary attack using only commonly used words makes it much more likely to crack those 4 words than they claim here. If you have to come up with those words on your own, they won't be random. An example from passwordsgenerator.net ( Note: I would never use an online password generator): 5`*t"A9TUYNW!?34yEXvu&%4&>`r:" Something like this is beyond brute-forcing, as long as you keep it safe (so don't use a website to create it).
I now realize this is completely off-topic in my own topic, but I like the subject. I typed it already, but I suggest to take this discussion elsewhere if there's anything else to add.

So there is a chance of a malware changing the QR Malicious QR code readers steal a lot of money. Bitpay shows a different code instead of a Bitcoin address. I only use it for small amounts, but because it doesn't even show the actual address, I wouldn't know how to check if I pay the correct addy. From what I understand, this is meant to make it more secure and less prone to error for inexperienced users (but I can't check that).

I was recently pwned and sent a few emails like “I have your password (they did, an old one), I also have you on camera watching porn and will send to all your contacts if you don’t send me $2,000 in bitcoin In 24hrs”. That's just standard spam, I've seen them too and happily ignored them. Of course, it doesn't hurt to have a sticker on your laptop camera, with or without NSFW activities. 3-5 merits for this post is not nearly enough for such an important issue for us bitcoiners - imo. He makes a very good point here (I don't want to negro-bump that topic): both the telecom companies and companies have created a false sense of security around phone numbers. Gmail, eBay and Paypal all ask for my phone number "to secure my account", and although I've never tested it, I assume that means my phone number can be used to regain access to my account. And considering my phone is less secure than my PC, that is indeed a risk. Nobody will ever brute-force my passwords, but several third parties can get access to my phone (number). It's basically an extention of the "security question", which also gives attackers a chance through social engineering. Post Merited!

I found a really good post that has only 2-3 merits that deserves much more. Go ahead, post it! My source sMerits are a continuous struggle to get rid of, and every time I manage to empty it, it's back soon after.

I could do a 10 years analysis instead of just 5, the only issue is scraping the data from blockchair.com, it took me very long to get 5 years worth of data, however, if someone (maybe LoyceV or DdmrDdmr) can help me scrape the data I'll be willing to make a 10 years analysis. A year ago, I scraped all block headers from blockchain.com ( for this topic). Around the same time someone posted a link to a site that allowed to quickly select this data, but I can't find it back. I set a 1.8 second delay in between page loads. If you tell me exactly what you need, I can get it in about 2 weeks. Running on a VPS is not a problem, assuming Blockchain.com hasn't changed scraping restrictions.

They rate your website a B+ in "privacy," and it blocks everything below an A. Loyce.club doesn't use cookies, and doesn't use social media tracking. The only reason I can think of is the lack of SSH, which is on my Todo list. I don't think it is because of archiving posts. It's OK, don't be offended What's wrong with being offended?I chose you over them. ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif)

It's how many other DT1's have him in their inclusion list. Actually, it's inclusions minus exclusions. The example you gave (62) must be a bit out of date. It's from October last year. The current DT1 strength 56 matches dtview. BPIP shows the same (hover your mouse above "DT1"). It's also called DT Strenght, theymos' position on DT1 is supported by 62% of DT1-members.

If you quote the entire OP, your entry will be deleted. It's more than 72hours now I made a btc withdrawal on Cex.io and I'm yet to get the coin in the receiving wallet First: please edit your post and remove that big quote, so I don't have to delete your post. You can check your receiving address on Blockchair blockchain explorer. Depending on your wallet it may or may not show up when it's unconfirmed. The next auction depends on whether or not the exchange actually made the transaction. and no record of the transaction on blockchain network. If that's the case, there's nothing anyone other than the exchange can do for you. I have messaged Cex support team more than 19 times and no response whatsoever.
What could be the problem ? The first problem is spamming the exchange 19 times. That's not how support tickets work, all you've accomplished now is pissing off some poor support employee who now put you at the bottom of his task list.

This case was brought to my attention by iconzi, so I'll respond here.TL;DRI think you should remove the negative feedback. Long versionIs this not paid bumping really ? or is this not encourage for spamming ? It is more or less. But the topic is posted in Games and rounds, and this is quite normal on that board. I am not sure why the thread are not trash. If you think the topic should be deleted, use Report to moderator. According to theymos, this is against of rules. Specifically, you are not allowed to give people any incentive to post insubstantial posts in your threads. You can't offer to pay people who post their addresses, usernames, etc. You can do giveaways off-site and link to the giveaway page in a thread, but you can't give people any bonus for replying to your thread. You're taking that quote out of context. Theymos posted that in Altcoin Discussion, and it doesn't apply to Bitcoin giveaways on other boards. Your feedback on iconzi shows: He has been braking forum rules. see reference for more details. As explained above, this is incorrect. But even if he would be breaking forum rules, it should be handled by Moderators, not through the feedback system. You were quite new back then, but I consider this Trust abuse. I checked your sent feedback, and around that time you've left many tags. I quickly looked at a few, and some of those say for instance "Spammer". I think you should review your old feedback because spam is a reason for a ban, not a tag. Even if iconzi would have incentivized posting for an altcoin (which he didn't), he would likely have received a 30 or 60 days ban. It's been 2 years now, so any punishment should have ended a long time ago. However, is there any guide from Administrator/ Forum Manager regarding how to handle Trust Rating System? There are no hard rules, but this post shows theymos' intent. In short, since Coolcryptovator trusts my judgement: My recommendation is to remove this unnecessary negative feedback.

I've used these: They all claim to be provably fair, although I haven't checked this on any of those sites.
Lightning network is a pain to use there's no user friendly graphical user interface to transact quickly with LN Try BlueWallet. It's custodial (and LN is experimental), so don't use it with more than you're willing to lose. After trying a few wallets, this one is my favourite (and much easier than opening your own channels).

But my question is, Do other members, especially senior and experienced member really follow this rules and respect forum's tool ? No. But those aren't rules anyway: These are mere guidelines Trust isn't moderated, but how you use it is your "business card" to the community. Use the above as guidelines only. It's meant to give you a general idea of what I consider good behaviour. There are currently 593 users on DT, the Trust system is decentralized, and they all leave feedback how they think it works best.
You will understand if you see the trust rating in my profile, with Reference. I was negative tagged just for some Silly Forum mistakes, which I was not even warned I'll respond in the Reference topic.
