I've mined on an off on this pool for several months and lately I've been astounded. I don't want to mine anything else for a good long bit, I have a feeling this is going to be profitable for quite some time. h20, excellent work. I loved watching the small waves of bitcoin turn into tsunamis.  Grin

Here's the latest update posted on their site today:

https://hashfast.com/update-from-ciara/

"They’ve started assembling Baby Jets (overnight tonight). They aim by night’s end to have the first round of assembly done for 400 Baby Jets."

I put the emphasis on first round.

The wording is a bit vague: does this mean 400 units should be finished by tomorrow or is it that just the first round (of several rounds) of assembly per unit is finished, with more rounds of assembly to go to get to a finished miner?

I don't know but it looks like this company really has their act together. The chips seem to perform very well without any hiccups, all of their work is well documented, their boards and design looks very professional. I honestly don't care if it takes them a little longer. They aren't going to pull a BFL though from what I can see.

I am very optimistic from this point on, and I may even invest further in their technology. They have the best deals right now aside from Cointerra which also looks to be headed in a very positive direction.

Any other information on how this operation is going down? I send the payment and then what?

As we acquire funds, miners will be purchased in order. Then we wait for KnC on delivery.

459/500 shares available.

BTC: https://coinbase.com/checkouts/13640a9e7fceae5a08cea809aeee865e
Payment link updated to allow for additional share purchases, sorry for the oversight.
Price $122.00 per 30 GH/s share, 100 shares per miner. Extra BTC collected will be used for prepaid hosting and Bitcoin variance.

All miners will be hosted through Bobsag3's hosting or similar facility. BTC Payments will be automated through a secure payment server managed by an Internet Technologies professional. There is a 1-2% pool fee (we like to encourage the technology and support secure mining pools), a 3% management fee (edit) and 250~350 a month hosting fee. Mining will be pointed to Eligius and BitMinter as they have the best overall share payment structure in my opinion.

I am fairly new to the forum however I have perfect eBay feedback, and I am also currently running a small group buy on a KnCMiner Mercury. The machine is hashing at 140 GH/s despite the dreaded die 0 issue, and I’m managing all aspects of the operation. I take your trust at the utmost importance while running a professional operation.

eBay Page: http://www.ebay.com/usr/billsfinegoods
GB Forum: http://w11.zetaboards.com/Bills_Crypto_Mining/index/

This is a group buy for a pre-order for a future delivery date. I will not be held responsible if KnCMiner fails to deliver. I can only promise to fulfill my role as the group buy organizer and mining operator.

Thank you for your consideration. Smiley

Thats fine just making sure I understand all the particulars.

Right on. I take things too literally sometimes.
1534  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: A purchasing power group buy on: November 26, 2013, 05:46:40 PM
Ok so you are paying current cex-io prices then?  Just making sure I understand the whole flow.  Also when you say ROI are you talking BTC or USD?

Thanks again!  Very interested.

Are you asking me if I'm buying cex-io at market? I will buy at market unless I see its on a drop and I'll try and get in on a lower price. Your initial investment will be repaid in BTC. I can't do USD.
1535  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: A purchasing power group buy on: November 26, 2013, 04:17:55 PM
When would the purchase be done?  As you accumulate shares or once you have all shares sold?

Thanks,
Paul

cex-io GHS is being purchased on the fly. I would like to start reinvesting in group buys/hardware while shares are being accumulated but only after some shares have gone through the ROI process as to only use income generated from cex-io itself from those already ROI paid shares.

1536  Bitcoin / Group buys / Re: A purchasing power group buy on: November 26, 2013, 04:08:46 PM
Just to put my 2 bits in 50% reinvestment seems better

I wanted to get an initial framework out before my brain imploded. I tweak things constantly, so it's quite possible the ratio will change. As tripppn mentioned I try and keep things as democratic as possible, and team input has saved me from doing several stupid things. Wink

I got very lucky with the people who chose to invest with me initially. All of them have been professional and quite level headed.

Should we just write off this one?
1538  Bitcoin / Group buys / A purchasing power group buy on: November 25, 2013, 06:49:46 PM
Purchasing Power Group Buy | 696/1000 shares remaining | 96/100 reserved remaining
0.1 BTC/share: 13Ua5LJExEFwjszdMdRCiFZ33FoYg9v67Q

Current Hashing Power: 210.56058133 GH/s
Current shares held: 208 | ROI Shares: 29 | ROI Queue: 139
Reserve BTC: 4.00000000 | Earned BTC: 2.97725998

I am selling 1000 shares at 0.1 BTC each. This will be invested in the cloud hashing service cex-io to generate revenue. The first 100 shares are on reserve for my group buy, if they don’t buy them all I will add the remaining shares for purchase here.

Phase one: All BTC will be returned on investment which should take 3-4 months give or take. I will begin repayment on a first come first serve basis so early adopters will incur the least amount of risk. I will take no profits during this phase to insure everyone gets ROI as quickly as possible barring any unforeseen issues with cex-io.

Phase two: 80% of BTC generated after ROI will be reinvested in group buys for additional hashing power, the remaining 20% will be reinvested back into cex-io. From this additional hashing power 80% of all BTC generated less GB expenses will be paid based on your share percentage, the remaining 20% will be used for reinvestment purposes for additional group buys and or moving into phase 3 actual mining hardware.

Phase three: Mining hardware will be purchased, professionally managed and hosted. 80% of all BTC generated less hosting expenses will be paid to investors based on share percentage, the remaining 20% will be reinvested back into additional mining hardware.

I will take a 3% management fee of gross during phase 2 and phase 3 which will run concurrently.

If all goes according to plan this will be a great way to increase your cloud hashing power with minimal risk as cex is already hashing and we’re not relying on untested companies in the initial phase. Yeah you can invest with cex-io individually, but with a group investment we acquire purchasing power. edit* Once this program is fully funded I will not sell anymore shares and I will not create a new program.

Who am I?

Well I’m fairly new to the forum. I started a small KnC group buy on eBay and have been running all aspects of it’s operation so I am familiar with the technology. I have also invested a little BTC into a couple of DZ’s group buys, so I have some roots in the community. I have a perfect eBay rating as well and I bet my reputation on the success of this program.
