1521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: imagine a world without Bitcoin on: April 04, 2022, 06:25:38 PM
Just by reading the title I felt very empty for a moment as the whole thing flashed right in front of my eyes. I don’t think there is easy way to imagine this one because I’m so much involved into bitcoin now. It would feel way empty than hollow space!
I think we would have been thinking nothing but our career, jobs, some political talks everyday and May be some shitty tech that’s just been invented for entertainment or military purpose.
There wouldn’t had been any developments in the share market, just the usual forex and copy trades. No gaming evolution in terms of NFT. The art would have been the same old auction based sold sold!
See no fun at all if bitcoin wasn’t there.
1522  Bitcoin / Development & Technical Discussion / Re: [Megathread] The long-known PoW vs. PoS debate on: April 04, 2022, 05:49:10 PM
Wow I did not know so many things go into POW as compared to the POS. I am not sure why but kinda feels like POS is like rich man’s magic wand. They get it done with the money, swing the votes and confirm the identity. On the other hand POW salient features are more or less public. If you want it then prove it, work for it and it’s your. I think I am pretty sure what I want now, it’s POW.

By the way my vote is as a common man, I’m not that much into technical problems of crypto currency. I have always read and understood them as end user with basic information about it. May be such vote is indeed needed as crypto is made for all types of people.  Wink
1523  Economy / Gambling / Re: 🔥Sportbook and Casino: BITSLER > $12,500 Daily Wagering contest < on: April 04, 2022, 05:21:23 PM
Hey community, good to see this casino. Saw ads many times and I think it’s time to test this casino for my new adventure.  Cheesy
The flyer looks cool and the eye catchy icon was- bug bounty! I have little query about it and hope to get answer from experienced bitsler in the thread. What I am really looking at when they say bug? I mean since the casino was launched back in 2015, it must be upgraded many times for the bugs. So does this campaign is still active or it’s just their because it was initially launched.
I am excited to test out both, the casino and bug finding campaign. Seems very interesting to me. One more good game is lottery, everyone wants to try their luck! Hope to see some good luck.
1524  Economy / Economics / Re: New Financial Year Begins | Are you ready? on: April 04, 2022, 04:43:54 PM
Yes I am trying to save as much as I could from my part time job. I’m increasing my crypto investment more than before because I have pretty nice experience with the same since a year now. I am at the phase of getting my post grad finished and pulling myself further into the busy schedules of jobs, salary, finance management and what not. I know it’s not easy out there but I’m gonna keep it very clean portfolio. Obviously no debts is first thing I am going to train myself on! You have multiple sources and that’s really impressive. Keep it up and hope I get myself ready for such multiple streams as well!
1525  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Which rookie candidate will make a better trader and quickly too? on: April 04, 2022, 12:31:03 PM
It depends on few factors though. For example, if I’m to learn trading techniques then I would love to keep learning online even though they have taught me in offline class. I mean whenever they teach us something in post grad program I would still go online, learn even more in depth science behind it and gain more with examples. Like many people have ability to learn quickly from tutor but many of them still need self study. It’s that kinda stuff where few Love to have visual learning’s while others would just listen and grasp. For me it’s both ways. I will never understand things firmly in the first instance itself.
1526  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: 1 Satoshi equal 1 cent on: April 04, 2022, 10:33:45 AM
meaning no one can mine cheaper then $30k right now and everyone can mine cheaper then $90k

If the price stays closer to 90k than 30k, more miners will mine, the difficulty will rise and the price range can shift towards 100k.
Also you may have been forgetting about the next halving, which, at the end of 2023 may have to start be counted into the price.

So even without taking into account a big bubble, there are still chances for 100k get at least touched within that time frame. At least "never say never".
Of course, you may have been also misled by OP "math" and assumed he was talking about 1m instead of 100k.

After every halving bitcoin has shown enormous growth so its no wonder that we will have another level of rise in the price next year end.
If you checkout the graph below, refrred from cointelegrpah then the pattern is in up trend only. Its very common since last three halving processes and no doubt it wil repeat. One, due to reduced mining reward miners will sell out huge chunk of bitcoin they mined over 3-4 years to compensate their mining proftiabiliyt and this put bitcoin to very low pricing. Second, this is the period where people start investing heavily and thus pumps to ultimate new ATH.

1527  Economy / Gambling / Re: Gambling Sites April Fool offers on: April 03, 2022, 02:29:47 PM
Been two days but not seen anything like that on the casino where I play. In fact there was no notification about April fools day too. May be mods on my casino were either drunk or were pulling lot of chips on the weekend. Lolz. Just making fun! By the way if you wanna get 100% bonus then that usually comes only at the time of first time registration. Moreover, these sort of promotions are rare and you can do checkout daily deals and VIP programs for permanent rise in the rake back bonus. Many gamblers do not consider this option because they think it’s too much wagering requirement. But believe me, it’s big asset.
1528  Economy / Gambling / Re: FreeBitco.in-$200 FreeBTC⭐Win Lambo🔥0.2BTC DailyJackpot🏆$32,500 Wager Contest on: April 03, 2022, 02:10:50 PM
I always do.Even when I had like near 200 spins to play I used to play them before going to sleep and it took quite a while but I loved the adrenaline "I thought" it was giving me.I still do now that I have 10 spins daily to play and I use the rewards to put in place my strategy which is increasing the FUN tokens with Staking and increasing the Satoshis stack with the Free BTC bonus 1000%,for people who are patient this is a great website to invest money they can afford to lose (always only invest those money no matter how trustworthy the site is).
Nice! After all the excitement of playing each spin manually is what matters, right? But can you track your results and progression efficiently by spinning 200 times one by one?

I'm holding some hundreds of wheel's spins and I plan to use them all at once, so I can see the total rewards I receive from them automatically displayed by the system. When I do this, I hope to finally reach the 100,000 RPs mark, so I'm going to exchange my RPs for satoshis.

It’s all the same whether you spin manually or automatically. Whether you spin daily 10 spins or accumulated hundred spins. Initially I did this but now I don’t collect the spin because as per my experience it’s all the same. So these days I’m just spinning almost everyday as and when I am getting the time.

You will see detailed spins and seed and winnings in the table below where spin button is. So everything is still provably fair game to play. The only thing is, you will have more adrenaline pumping when you spinning altogether in batch of hundreds.  Wink
1529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Indonesia joins the regulation of cryptocurrencies in this 2022 on: April 03, 2022, 12:06:07 PM
Nice representation from cointelegraph. Every crypto is playing nicely on the beach side and showcasing that slowly the crypto is winning the hearts of country to country. I think if we write one by one then since 2017 when the first bitcoin plunge started many countries started to invest into blockchain associated projects. Whether it is sanctioning of crypto as legal tender into their country or whether it is creating their digital blockchain based coin we have seen good amount of rise in the same. Congrats for Indonesians on achieving crypto legality status. Hope they bring more investors into community.
1530  Economy / Economics / Re: Bitcoin's role in realizing 2030 SDGs on: April 03, 2022, 11:45:28 AM
If this was plotted back in 2015 then I think they are not doing pretty well because I never heard about this. Looking at the agenda it seems so big one, with mega word global goals which should have been reflected already in the news.

Anyways, the agenda is pretty clever and in general covers everything that’s needed in the future for survival. I means I’m constantly looking at Life under water and Life on Land. That’s something they are thinking because they might have forecasted how there gonna be overpopulation and decrease land masses due to global warming.

I’m not so confident about their agenda regarding overcoming the poverty. There is old saying, if everyone becomes rich then who will do the dirty job? I barely think that they will have proper workforce for that?
1531  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Does IQ greatly affect a person's success in trading? on: April 03, 2022, 09:49:17 AM
I also don’t think that IQ is something that can define the ability of person to trade effectively. There could be one more point here, person with high IQ may not even think about trading because they could simply be doing something better than sitting at home in front of screen. That’s just my thought but reality could be different than this.

However, there are people that I know who are just average like me and yet they have accomplished bigger things in their lives which seems work of high IQ person.

Similarly in trading, I don’t think having high IQ means bigger success.
1532  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Few Tips I learnt from trading that blew my account. on: April 02, 2022, 07:17:55 PM
Love it when he mentioned don’t be greedy, it’s master of all! Lolz. He got the feel for it already I guess and learnt the lesson. Exactly it is real enemy whether it’s simple investment, trading, gambling or even buying sugar! If you become greedy then you are pulling big trouble towards you. I learnt this the hardest way after loosing handsome money to altcoin market. After that I literally focused on bitcoin and few well studied alts only. Moreover I am also just feeling up my wallet and hodling them and not really trading just because of that horrible experience. So yes those who would be starting new or whose already into it, just take this as reminder and keep safe trading.
1533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What's preventing bitcoin from worldwide adoption? on: April 02, 2022, 07:01:40 PM
There is also one more reason behind this, blockchain is open and using the same technology every government is now trying to improve their own banking systems, trying mint their coins and what not. I think it’s disadvantage being the open source for blockchain and in the long run government correctly saw this opportunity to have their own assets but obviously centralised one.

The only upper hand they got is naming it as crypto currency and added the security policies as it’s government regulated.

This is obstacle for the main stream adoption of existing crypto. People still trust government and not public volatile unregulated coins.
1534  Economy / Gambling / Re: Would you support a collective boycott of all Russian gambling platforms? on: April 02, 2022, 05:54:51 PM
I also keep getting ads of 1x bet casino on my phone all the time. I’m not sure why but I guess it’s because I typed the word somewhere and somehow it got picked up by advertising agencies? I’m always trying to clear the caches but the bull shit casino ad never goes off. I’m suspecting there are other apps too which are connected with the site and that’s why they keep popping the ads for it.

Or I think 1xbet has pretty good amount of money to spend on the advertising budgets. Not sure how many people might have been victim for this. I have also seen similar marketing on the earning websites.

It’s questionable whether they are really scammers or big boy scammers!!
1535  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: What and where? on: April 02, 2022, 04:53:32 PM
First of all congrats on taking successful step while stepping into trading and that’s saving the money and then investing it into trading. Honestly, many of us just go crazy while trading and we put our money which is required in daily budget expenses. It’s good that you have saved up money and then investing into it.

I would also positively vote for you on using Binance as your trading platform. The app is user friendly but still there are dozens of options to choose from so choose your trading ways correctly. You can also have staking earning method.
1536  Economy / Gambling / Re: Sign Up Bonuses on: April 02, 2022, 04:26:42 PM
What you saying exactly? You not getting the bonuses or you never found any casino which gives you bonuses? I never encountered this problem because any casino I register you will always find at least one bonus on their site. This welcome bonus is very common and the registration is almost incomplete if we can’t get it.  Grin

If you really want to see everyday to every week bonuses then just visit winz[dot]io casino. They are like having 100 to 300 free spins for every deposit you make. Check all the terms and conditions before you get on to the casino.
1537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The 19 millionth bitcoin will be mined in the next 24 hours. on: April 01, 2022, 07:28:29 PM
Wow. Amazing to hear that one. It’s cool so many of you are actuslly keeping track of it or somehow involved with the great updates like this. Thanks for sharing this one, I will have it published on my social accounts just for some shine about bitcoin and it’s 19mln-th bitcoin. Imaging that one mining rig from hundred thousand rigs around the world who will mine it would be the luckiest one. Because next millionth would after 50 years and then after another 50th year.

That is so cool to imagine. This will definitely put the market onto a next level. Can’t wait to see it get mined! Ciao!
1538  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Is there interested in a Virtual Visa Debit Card ? | Opinion asked on: March 31, 2022, 02:47:18 PM

Hi, so what we did is looking at other competitors and lowering the prices where possible. At this moment we are the cheapest service, and we will keep it that way. Also, the funding fees with crypto will go down in a couple of months when we have finished other integrations. Also, we have made cards that you can reload without any additional fees.

-snip-

1. We are going live tomorrow
2. The cards are virtual and will be delivered instantly to your account
3. Cards are valid for 2 years.
4. The cards work at any merchant worldwide where Visa is accepted.

In first instance yes off course the second product is good one for the same reason as everyone is having I.e. no KYC.
However from the above quote, your point number 4 depicts that we can use it anywhere in the worldwide but how? What I mean is, this card is not available in physical form. So whenever I will visit let’s say star bucks how can I make the payment there?

As far as I know we can not really input card details on their pos machine neither they will just scan the details from my phone right?

So have you thought about this issue while paying with it in store?
1539  Economy / Economics / Re: Russia's effect on IT sector? on: March 31, 2022, 12:54:42 PM
-snip-

As I told you on the other topic, let's bump this one with the miracles of Russian technology:
https://motor.ru/news/granta-2022-options-26-03-2022.htm

Of course, Russia will replace US chips, of course, it will replace Eu technology, of course, it will replace everything as they are just so good at doing stuff. Meanwhile, in reality:

Quote
snip

Oh, and be proud of your foreign expensive car, I heard you can buy a house with one of those now unless you need spare parts, which costs about a house. A lot of people in Russia will be a quick and painful awakening.

Yes, western sanctions will actually cause a boomerang effect, considering that Russia is the largest supplier of raw materials for electronic equipment, especially chips.

Chips are made of silicon, what you've read is about Xeon and neon but there is no crisis anywhere and it's not Russia but Ukraine who is making those. And good luck angering China with a low supply of chips that would cripple their manufacturing industry.

I gotta say the discussion is somehow going towards one man's historical words,

Quote
"I know not with what weapons World War III will be fought, but World War IV will be fought with sticks and stones"
-Albert Einstein

I guess this should inspire everyone why this genius said it already. Kinda started to feel that he made all the calculations on back of his mind, went to the future, came back and said this. Lolz

We are already talking about short supplies, increased demands, of things which are 99% part of our modern kingdom. If this war continues then it might be possibiity that Russian allies will have to join either Russia or West side of the world. If they dont, Im afraid Putin will just throw away few bombs on them too.

So its bit complicated situation.

IT is just one of the component from whole system.
1540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Opera integrates Bitcoin in there Browser on: March 31, 2022, 12:12:39 PM
Having your bitcoin wallet on your browser — on something that's pretty much open and online all the time. Yea, probably one of the worst wallet integration ideas yet. Absolutely zero reason to have your bitcoin wallet on your browser as you don't even need your wallet to connect to a platform like with DApps.

Yeah. Does it mean the wallet is not full custodial wallet and ideally its shared wallet with the server of Opera?
Because the wallet is like running on their server which means the data such as coin informations, transactions, personal data is ideally present on their server address while only the Opera browser itself is on the device.

In normal wallet which we install on our phones or desktop, we get 100% ownership of the wallet as the data is stored locally on the device. So whats the point in having such wallet which can be compromised or even easy to phish if its embedded into browsers tab.

Unlike MetaMask, which has chrome extension but the whole ecosystem works on-chain so Im not sure whats the difference?

Is it going to be safe or we have such kinda vulnerabilities!
