1521  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will You Circumvent KYC if You Can? on: November 19, 2019, 10:00:45 AM
I detest government influence on Bitcoin. Initially, I thought it was anonymous means of transfer of value that I could use to do business with people all over the world PRIVATELY and perhaps no one would know what I'm doing, especially my corrupt politicians. But what we have today is Bitcoin that is increasingly becoming another central bank. Would you find a way around KYC is you could? https://www.cryptoinfowatch.com/privacy-conscious-bitcoin-traders-use-bisq-to-avoid-kyc/

maybe some exchanges now ask us to send them an identity. I think it's only to limit exchange users for certain countries and to increase withdrawal limits, so you don't need to worry they will definitely not abuse our identity so far. Actually, I personally often do KYC in several exchanges but my identity is still safe until now.
1522  Economy / Speculation / Re: Here’s Why Bitcoin Just Dropped Nearly 4% on: November 19, 2019, 09:09:17 AM
I think this has nothing to do with the decline in bitcoin today, there may be certain factors that cause price reductions, because we know Google is currently launching a current account product that works with banks and credit unions, this is certainly very crazy if you declare a decrease in bitcoin which is caused by Google's new checking account because basically bitcoin has nothing to do with the banking system and other government financial systems.
1523  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: How do people decide to create Cryptocurrencies? on: November 19, 2019, 07:41:14 AM
Since there are hundreds or even thousands of Cryptocurrencies out there around the world, I am rather interested in what are the processes of creating a new cryptocurrency. I’m interested in things like how do people decide when to make new cryptocurrencies, what are the logistics in making the new coins and how do they promote their new coins to the public or certain groups of people in order to facilitate its usage.

to make tokens or coins is a bit difficult because you have to prepare a little capital and have an understanding of the coding and security of crypto fully and you must have good ideas or skills to gain the trust of many people so that later your project is launched is not in vain, but before You also need to know the difference between making coins and making tokens.

some differences:

coin
- Must have your own blockchai and need a lot of time

token
- is built on existing blockchain and does not require much time
1524  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How To make a Private Transaction on: November 19, 2019, 06:21:09 AM
What elements must one do I do a totally private crypto transaction?

Such as hide the IP address. Make sure Google doesn't follow. Make sure no trace is done.

What would be the main steps to follow to create a fully private transactions?

Crypto basically has a high risk of hacking or theft of your bitcoin, maybe if you want to avoid it and to fully protect your privacy when transacting crypto you must use a bitcoin mixer when transacting your bitcoin because the bitcoin mixer can protect our security fully when we conduct transactions with systems such as one of them is that bitcoinmix does not keep logs and cannot provide information about bitcoin sent or received from mixers so that they really maintain user confidentiality.
1525  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible that Bitcoin becomes quiescent? on: November 17, 2019, 11:23:37 AM
In the year 2130 all of the Bitcoins will have been mined and the only reward at this point is transaction fees,if most people are using Bitcoin just as a store of wealth, then there are very few transactions, which means there is very little reward for mining and so a lot of computers would pull out of the Bitcoin network. Would this be a problem? If large Bitcoin transactions occured sparingly in 2130 and beyond, would the Bitcoin concept still work?

if later the supply of bitcoin runs out, of course these bitcoin miners will be very frustrated because miners will receive redward from a block with a very small amount that is only enough to pay the electricity bill from the mining results, and when this event happens it all depends on what bitcoin protocol they will be increase the supply of bitcoin, maybe if they don't add it I think this is the end of the bitcoin concept.
1526  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Have You Paid Tax On Bitcoin? on: November 17, 2019, 05:23:53 AM
What is your country's policy on taxation on cryptocurrency? Secondly, have you used Bitcoin ATM before? I heard about Bitcoin ATM when they installed them at the Melbourne airport. Please share your experience on BTC ATM and taxation. https://www.cryptoinfowatch.com/irs-looking-at-tax-issues-linked-with-bitcoin/

To be honest in my country for now the government has not yet issued tax laws for bitcoin users and if later they have implemented it of course I will pay it because we live in a country of course we must obey the laws issued by our country for the convenience of our lives too, and so far I haven't used a bitcoin ATM but it seems interesting I will definitely try it next time.
1527  Economy / Speculation / Re: The 2020 Next Bitcoin Halving vs The 2016 One on: November 17, 2019, 02:50:38 AM
Bitcoin saw its price jumped from $400 to $800 USD per coin during the 2016 halving. Can we expect the same for next year's BTC halving?

most likely in the next year the price of bitcoin will rise very high whether the price will double, I don't think we can predict correctly and by 2020 bitcoin will be reduced by half and this will definitely result in a very high price increase that year, and there is a possibility that Behind the excitement of soaring prices we must also be very antipasi with the market because of the habit when such an event occurs, asset prices will drop significantly.
1528  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Spammed by 1Sats TX on: November 16, 2019, 08:46:26 AM
As far as I can remember, there were some invdiviual or groups in 2017 wherein they spam the hell of the bitcoin network, Possible Bitcoin Network Spam Attack is One User's Moby Dick.

So this is not new, if there are effects on the price, probably just short term though, and as explain by @ranochigo, if you pay good fees then you're not going to be affected by it. Sooner or later it will pass by, because those people or groups need money to fuel their spamming and I doubt that they will go on forever with this kind of activity.

yes it seems right that you said there are a number of groups that deliberately send spam to the bitcoin network.

I also think a spike like this also means the bitcoin protocol is threatened because the speed of shipping transactions is not confirmed as usual, maybe also with this confirmation jam, of course the price will also be low.
1529  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin = Truth on: November 16, 2019, 07:34:51 AM
And truth is going to be the authority for this coming age where we the people demand accountability and honesty from our governments and politics.

So IMHO Bitcoin is going to the immutable truth which hold the age of information and accountability together...

Buy the dip!

Cheers

maybe this is the time we have to sue the government that has manipulated its people for various reasons because now we have been enslaved by the government of our own country especially with our financial system which is always used as interest income by corrupt people, unlike with bitcoin or other cryptocurrency where our finances cannot be controlled by the government, this can greatly help protect our finances in our future.
1530  Other / Off-topic / Re: Do you think Gavin Andresen will make a comeback? on: November 16, 2019, 04:05:45 AM
Do you think by any chance he'll make a comeback into the world of crypto? He could be real useful for making either Bitcoin or Bitcoin Cash stronger than ever before. I know that we already have many talented developers working on both projects, but Gavin is skillful and knowledgeable about Blockchain since he's been a pioneer in the industry.

What do you think? ??

maybe in my opinion gavin andresen will never go back as far as we see today there are many people who are very knowledgeable about bitcoin or people who are very affected by bitcoin they disappear without certainty they will return, unlike fools today when they don't don't know what nothing about bitcoin but they always claim themselves to be fake satoshi to take advantage so that some of their projects are in demand by crypto users.
1531  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Does technical analysis have any value for Bitcoin? on: November 16, 2019, 03:11:24 AM
You can analyze the direction of the price using a chart or TA, but this is not an ideal forecast. It must be remembered that Bitcoin is very volatile and something can always happen that is not according to plan.

Basically traders use bitcoin technical analysis (TA) to get high profits with bitcoin, but for me personally it is not very useful to use TA because I think to predict future bitcoin prices is certainly very difficult even though TA shows direction to its users, maybe only some traders can control the market price with that system. maybe we are better off balancing technical and fundamental analysis in bitcoin trading so as not to lose.
1532  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin investment on: November 15, 2019, 01:22:06 PM
This is not the wise choice. Whether you say good or bad to Warren Buffet but being one of the greatest investors he said " Dont put all your eggs in one basket."

not only with bitcoin, I think all investments have their own risks and I certainly never recommend someone to invest with bitcoin because we know there are only a few investors who have a lot of successful experiences with bitcoin investments because they already know a lot about bitcoin, and for me definitely not going to invest with bitcoin from all the income from hard work because if we suffer losses this will definitely drive us crazy.
1533  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: We should answer the important questions to increase Bitcoin adoption on: November 15, 2019, 12:36:42 PM
These are just some of the questions that we need to ask to get to a better solution for the problems with the other payment options. Can you

think of any problems and challenges that Bitcoin can solve now and how do we use Bitcoin to solve these problems now?

maybe at this time bitcoin hasn't been able to resolve the challenges of what you mentioned in utasa because now there are still many shortcomings in bitcoin that need to be updated like when we do transactions with bitcoin which takes a long time to confirm unlike traditional currencies (fiat) which only requires a few seconds and bitcoin does not fully guarantee the security of our assets. but I believe that bitcoin users are currently developing in various countries because some of them believe bitcoin is good in the future.
1534  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: One solid reason that I came across for the need of BitCoins. <Be Your own Bank> on: November 15, 2019, 11:04:59 AM

Now first I took out print out of 6 months statement, then went to bank physically, then the real pain started, they told me to put a seal and sign on my Bank Account Statement, they will charge 100 INR for one month's statement, and I felt cheated, I felt these guys are in a business of monopoly, for my money, my account, they are charging money from me just to authenticate that my balance amount is right.

I personally might also be disappointed with the bank system if something happens the way you feel and when you say "be your own bank" I'm certainly a little interested in words like that because now we certainly have a little difficulty if our finances are still related to banking is not the same as bitcoin which can provide freedom everywhere for our needs when we need them.
1535  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: An investor lost $24 million worth of bitcoin on: November 15, 2019, 04:43:27 AM

Days after bitcoin reached its record high price. Thieves stole roughly 1,500 bitcoins by taking control of his phone number and using Google's "Forgot password?" feature to gain access to his email.

I think this is his own fault because he made his personal crypto wallet via email and did not use two authentication in his wallet. This is fatal, Hopefully in the future he can better protect his crypton wallet, what we need to know now is that we have to use an offline wallet or a hardware wallet that is not easily accessed by hackers because with more sophisticated technology today, hackers are also increasingly smart breaking into several programs.
1536  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Would it be possible to use Cryptocurrencies in China? on: November 14, 2019, 12:25:00 PM
Recently, I heard that China banned holding cryptocurrency and cryptocurrency transactions, so does that mean that having cryptocurrency in China would be a criminal offense? Moreover, why create such a ban in the first place?

I am not sure whether China banned crypto because we know in that country there are many investors who invest with bitcoin or other crypto and are also known as developed countries with cryptocurrency, and in the past the government in China has stated clearly that cryptocurrency can be used as a transaction or Asset investment due to decentralized status and some businesses in China now adopt bitcoin as their payment medium.
1537  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Banks do not control my bitcoins - Zimbabwe News! on: November 14, 2019, 10:39:44 AM
Luckily for us Bitcoiners, nobody can tell us how much we can use, because we control our own currency.  Wink This is just another reminder of what true Financial freedom are supposed to be.  Grin

some bitcoiners are lucky when there is an economic crisis like in Zimbabwe but it depends on the country where they live, I'm sure you also can't make anything for example now you live in Zimbabwe with events happening there even though you have some bitcoin of course you can't shop or transact with your bitcoin there because now in Zimbabwe as far as we can see they haven't received crypto payments at their stores.
1538  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China’s Digital Currency Will Allow Consumers ‘Controllable Anonymity’ on: November 14, 2019, 07:01:31 AM

but officials say that their goal is ‘controllable anonymity’.

I personally think that in reality digital currency is far from anonymous because every transaction is carried out with a decentralized network that is recorded in the public Blockchain system, and maybe they also ask everyone who wants to make their crypto wallet to send each user's personal information, so that anonymity ends for crypto currency payments or other transactions.
perhaps this is meant by those whose anonymity can be controlled.
1539  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Went Crazy On 12/11/2019 ! on: November 14, 2019, 04:55:27 AM
at the end of this week bitcoin is really crazy, but with news like that you don't need to worry because of events like this that we experienced with bitcoin like last year, I think you don't seem to understand much about bitcoin and not enough experience with this coin so it makes You are quickly frustrated and I am very confident that the price of bitcoin will go up as in 2017 which makes investors get a lot of profits in a short amount of time and makes bitcoin adopters happy again.
1540  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin Daily Living on: November 14, 2019, 02:55:30 AM
this sounds very interesting if we use bitcoin to trade every day, but at this time I think bitcoin cannot be used as a living solution for daily needs and unfortunately in my country for now the government has not yet formalized bitcoin to be used in public places, even though in my country is a little difficult to use bitcoin but I also use it for a number of needs such as to buy household appliances through online only.
