15201  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Technical Support / Re: What "--dumpwallet" do (pywallet) - i want i simple command to get my privat key on: July 20, 2015, 05:34:05 PM
Hmm I am not quite certain on how are you going to do that thing, but I found this thread: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=285947.0

15202  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Private keys for Coinbase , Bit-x ? on: July 20, 2015, 05:31:55 PM
I always had this question and now I want actually to know if it's possible to get the private keys of Coinbase accounts or Bit-x.com accounts and export them to import to another wallet .

You can't.

Or simply the ability to sign messages using the adresses given on those accounts  ? Shocked

You can using Coinbase but not with BIT-X. See https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=990345.msg11915241#msg11915241.

Damn , it's really shit to know that Bit-x.com don't allow signing messages I really was in need to do this .
FOr what comes to Coinbase , thank you so much

Why, did you use your bit-x wallet address to fulfill a transaction of some sort? Most online wallets and exchanges do not offer giving you private keys to your addresses in their service, that's why it is advisable to keep your balance in your own wallet.
15203  Other / Meta / Re: How to contact tomatocage on: July 20, 2015, 05:29:52 PM
Pm blocked? Is that doable in this forum? He's online right now, and I'm not sure how can you approach him. Maybe quote some of his posts?
15204  Economy / Services / Re: ANY EXTREME HACKERS IN THE HOUSE ???? on: July 20, 2015, 05:26:46 PM
Maybe try the deep web for that kind of service? You'll see a lot of "extreme hackers" in there.

I don't like deepweb shit !!!!!

I want my website to get passed under extreme test !!

Think of start a bounty or something maybe. Seen many websites in the past offer bounties to have people test their website by trying to break it.

Agreed, try offering some bounty for the people to get interested. Also, the second sentence can be achieved by hackers in there, but if you don't want your site to be associated with that kind of people, then you must have to wait for a person who will satisfy your needs.
15205  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: [TUTORIAL] How to Earn 1 Bitcoin in a Week on: July 20, 2015, 05:24:03 PM
I like your criteria about trading altcoins, and yes, trading altcoins when it's fresh and new is most likely to give you high returns, but I don't think that the <100 satoshi price range is that precise when it comes to trading. Any coin will likely to give you a high return in profits, any coin can be pumped, and I don't think that the coins with <100 satoshi price, a 50m coin in current circulation would most likely hit it that big. But anyways, thanks for sharing this strategy of yours. It is really doable to earn that amount in one week with careful execution of trades. Trading is the most reliable way of earning bitcoins IF you know what you are doing.
15206  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Legit (cloud)mining sites? on: July 20, 2015, 05:17:54 PM
Most of the cloud mining sites being introduced in this forum are scams and just ponzi schemes. I only know one cloud mining site that really pays and is a legitimate and registered company, and that is Bit-X. If you look into my signature, they are also an exchange in which you can also trade your GH/s, same with cex.io. Beware of some scammy and fraudulent "cloud mining" sites out there; most of them do not have the hardware and just rely on the deposit of others to pay its members.

15208  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin goes to 1200-1300 within a month. on: July 20, 2015, 05:14:28 PM
I will throw my fiat into BTC until SHA-256 is cracked.

Started buyin at $1200...... I am the bag holder king.

I like wild predictions Smiley.  This guy has been full bear mode until like a month ago... soo..

oh man you are in over your head ... but I won't tell you to stop ...

So continue to do you! mr "I bought at 1200 USD!"

Addition: I think that buying at 1200 makes you the bag holder king of losses but that's relative!

I am proud of you for sticking to your goals and dreams and Hodling!

You begin to be offensive hihi

Any opinions on this "golden cross" situation?

Golden crosses.. green dragons.. all sorts of crazy chart patterns as of late.

One of the guys on our forum who likes to look at things from a TA point of view noted this...

I was also in full bear mode until about 6 weeks ago. There is plenty of evidence the winds of change have arrived. I believe we will see a lot more upside in the near future.

Looks great. Do you remember my post with says "Tea Time"?  Grin #219 Fits wonderful

I've been following this thread for a month now, and I should say that I'm pretty impressed with your calls. There are too many signs for an uptrend, but still it depends on the events in a global scale.
15209  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: I did my first Bitcoin presentation last week at a York Green Party meeting on: July 20, 2015, 04:59:30 PM
This was quite a challenge for me as I'm not great at presentations and obviously never done one about Bitcoin. Because I was at a political party meeting I tried to give it a political angle and not go too technical. I was also only given 5 minutes, which turned into 10 and a fair few people had questions and comments after. One of the most interesting was that proof-of-stake was a better system for the environment and an inflationary currency would be better for society. I'm curious about the proof-of-stake, but don't think people given the choice would choose an inflationary currency over a deflationary one. The guy said that deflation helps the rich more than the poor.

Anyway, it was nice to do something like this and I hope I can maybe do another one in the future.

Honestly speaking, even if you don't do a presentation about bitcoin, or by just merely saying anything about bitcoin, it will be hard because most people don't know the concepts and the facts behind bitcoin. I tried discussing bitcoin to my economics teacher once, and she ended up telling me that "it is a scam." I don't know, but maybe people aren't that "ready" to accept bitcoin yet--even the idea behind it.
15210  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How good is trezzor wallet on: July 19, 2015, 05:33:16 PM
Personally, I think Trezor wallets are the "bang for the buck" when it comes to hardware wallets. I never have one, but the reviews I've seen is sufficient enough for me to tell that this hardware wallet is indeed very good to have. But in any case. an offline machine is also a great way to keep your coins in a cold storage, though it does not offer mobility compared to a Trezor wallet.
15211  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: New penny-flood attack on network (very weak attempt) on: July 19, 2015, 04:26:58 PM
1 satoshi isn't worth a penny yet. Good thing that the network per se doesn't allow this kind of outputs to get through by means of not confirming them.
15212  Bitcoin / Legal / Re: Bitcoin Gambling on: July 19, 2015, 04:23:44 PM
Afaik, most bitcoin gambling sites are unregistered in any nation or any laws but still it is in operation. Same with bitcoin, though the virtual currency is regulated in some countries, there are other countries that do allow their citizens to use bitcoin as it is.
15213  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finding Satoshi Nakamoto - Short Film on: July 19, 2015, 07:19:46 AM
a cookie or the nobel price - let him choose  Wink

(the strange thing is....maybe he would really take the cookie  Cheesy )

A cookie will attract less publicity than receiving the Nobel Prize--a reason I can think that maybe he will choose the cookie over the latter. Smiley
15214  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Ebay Forbids Bitcoin for Payments on: July 19, 2015, 07:14:51 AM
Hmm I thought that they are already looking to use bitcoin? This is kinda confusing lol. Made me think that eBay is only riding the wave of bitcoin's popularity to gain more and more customers. I could be wrong though, but that is what I see on what they did.
15215  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Finding Satoshi Nakamoto - Short Film on: July 19, 2015, 06:39:57 AM
Great short film! Satoshi Nakamoto is one of the iconic names in the modern era. Whoever that person is, he deserves a cookie for creating a technological innovation that changed our views forever. If this became a commercially produced movie, I'm sure that many will watch this and will be interested in using bitcoin too.
15216  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Digital dollar? on: July 19, 2015, 06:18:17 AM
That digital dollar though. Isn't most of the dollar already exists in the virtual world by means of bank accounts?
15217  Other / Off-topic / Re: DO YOU HAVE 1 BITCOIN? on: July 17, 2015, 09:24:51 PM
Yes, of course, thanks to signature campaigns and trading.
15218  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Bitcoin artwork on: July 17, 2015, 09:24:07 PM
Reminds me of a scene in the game, though I'm not certain what game was it. Do you have any more works that you can show us? And is it possible to buy some of your works? I just thought that I could probably use these kind of images in promoting bitcoins in my place.

  • What do you think with all the mass media can they be better than bitcoin?
  • Would you invest in citicoin?

-They cannot, in any way, be better than bitcoin. Something like that is basically and literally against the concepts bitcoin is offering--another scheme to gain full control to people's money. They can go on and promote that coin in mass media, but it is up to people whether they want to be controlled or not.

-No, I will never, ever invest any money on a centralized money and is controlled by a bank.

And what when there is profits to be made? Will you be so principal in that case as well? I doubt it ;')

If there are profits to be made? I would still stand by my principles. I'd rather be poor than join the entities that make the people poorer just to be rich. There are other ways to earn money, and I would be happy to do that than to invest in a scheme created by banks. Smiley

I agree with you but the mass media will effect(brainwash) all the people who know nothing about bitcoin or the ones which are against bitcoin..

That is truly correct, the media has the power to affect the mindset of people. But that doesn't mean that we, as individuals, would only believe the messages that the media is trying to convey; we still have our own judgments and diligence to deal with such matters. See where we are right now? Flocking in this forum and using a decentralized cryptocurrency mainly because our judgments led us here.
