Idk why but most of these scamming schemes have broken English, it's biggest red flag one can have.
It is the same way for me. I thought I was weird observing bad grammar on any site I visit. There were alot of errors in that screenshot and that will piss me off.
1542  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Please help me. on: July 23, 2020, 11:35:06 AM
I will not give you magic money, but I can offer you a loan in bitcoin. This will help the first time and very well. we can make friends and in the future already discuss joint earnings without investing money, but invest only your time. my telegram @Fasesieno
A new account with only 2 posts offering someone a bitcoin loan is going to end in a scam. If not why did you have to create a fresh account to render this help.
1543  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Mindful of scammers and hackers on: July 21, 2020, 05:07:53 PM

I'd tell them about btt, it has helped me to avoid scams.
Not only you, it helped me too avoid scammers. I started crypto few months back but I have been attacked many times by scammers, this forum really helped me. I was just thinking if there is not forum like this, many members here that have not been scammed before would have been scammed.
What Charles-Tim is saying here is true for me also. The little knowledge I have gained here have helped me to understand certain things about cryptocurrency and this knowledge help me from avoiding scammers whenever they present mouth watering offers. If not, scammers would have finished me.

Make I throw this ones enter here:

Na cooperation dey make rice full pot
Meaning: To achieve something great we need unity of purpose and cooperation.

Sun too hot, sun too hot no mean say fowl go lay boiled egg.
Meaning: Certain difficult situations of life have limit to how helpless they can make us.

1548  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: Be careful of shitcoins on: July 14, 2020, 11:33:48 AM
I saw the price increasing at first, I thought if I invested in it the coin price will continue to increase, I was new to crypto at the time and nobody to put me through to avoid mistakes.
What happened to you happened to alot of us. It is not a big deal to make mistakes in a business you are new to. The big deal will be if you fail to learn your lessons from the mistake.
1549  Other / Serious discussion / Re: Corona Virus and the forum members on: June 20, 2020, 05:13:22 PM
The virus is spreading rapidly increasing the number of infected all over the world,
I wonder if there are some forum member who got infected by this virus?
And if we could start a donation and the funds would be sent to our Local Moderator if they want to join and help their local community.

lol there would be so many newbies declaring they are sick...

Each person should donate to their local community.

It is a bad thing to pretend that you are sick where I come from. Most times the person pretending to be sick ends up being sick in real life. Illness as a form of pretence is not good.
1550  Other / Beginners & Help / Re: EVOLUTION OF SIGNATURE AD CAMPAIGNS (BEGINNING DAYS TO THE PRESENT) on: May 08, 2020, 08:17:56 PM
But because they're not arranged by year, then it's hard to see but if there's a price in there, that's a big clue. Imagine people earning 0.08 btc per week or 0.0012 per post! Those were the sweet days I never saw:(

They were the sweet days if you are talking about the bitcoin price and payment but the value was not worth much then. That 0.08 btc would be worth less than $100 which today's $0.015btc is higher. It is the same way people will look at today's payment in future and compare them and then think those people today earned much.
1551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How bitcoins is helping during the lockdown on: May 08, 2020, 02:59:28 PM
1. I am reluctant of taking the currency notes because it is a possible medium of spread , Bitcoin helps me sending to whoever accepts

2. My brother isn't able to come personally to take money. I am using ETH and also digital payment to send money.
You can only send ETH or btc or any other cryptocurrency just to those who know how it works and can utilize such, without which it is a waste of time. Fiat still remain the most credible form of money at this time. What OP described is a form of gratitude to the availability of signature campaigns here in the forum, and not just bitcoin alone because bitcoin does not fall from heaven freely. You have to work to earn it. Joining a forum at a distressed time like now will not be topmost thing on the mind of that family the OP talked about.
1552  Economy / Speculation / Re: Bitcoin popped $10 000 on: May 08, 2020, 07:17:07 AM
Bitcoin price in almost all exchanges are +$10k right now but it is still lagging between $9990-$10,010.
It is great to see 5 digits again and especially before the halving  Smiley
Yesterday, Blockfolio put the price of Bitcoin at $12,049 from its Binance stream. I was happy with that until I checked the coinmarket site and found it lower. What could have caused that difference in price, I do not know.
1553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Which Altcoins Should Be Watched Closely in 2020 on: May 07, 2020, 07:24:05 PM
There are so many altcoins that we should be watched right now. It depends on which field will definitely boom this year. ICO is over, IEO is almost done. The next trend that I am looking for is DeFi trend which we should watched Ethereum, Texos and EOS will likely compete on this. But if the STO trend will boom then we should watch Raven.
That is a nice list from you but I will stay off De-Fi projects and rather look into exchange tokens and coins because once the crypto appetite opens up again exchanges are going to have more customers that will buy into them with their exchange coins. I like what Binance is doing with the BNB coin and making sure that it is used as a purchase coin during any IEO on its platform. Also, Tidex is burning its excess Tidex coins to help create scarcity and value for it.
1554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Will bitcoin be the ideal currency of the future? on: May 07, 2020, 06:19:05 PM
Bitcoin can not be an ideal currency for the globe. Going by all that you listed, bitcoin even falls short as it is. Already it has delay transactions which some altcoins easily can solve. Alts like BTC2 and Litecoin have a speed of light transaction rates. Some people have argued that what is keeping bitcoin on top of the list till now is because it is the pioneer crypto. They believe that one day bitcoin may lose that position.
1555  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Are you newbie looking for perceive income? Just be careful of AIRDROP on: May 06, 2020, 08:19:21 PM
things may have been different a couple of years ago like in 2013  but nowadays whenever someone is giving away something (seemingly) for free there is always a catch. usually they want something in return like what OP says (personal information) but also sometimes they are after the bitcoins you may already have. and to do that there is a lot of malware being spread as "wallets" of the said coin which the user has to download if they want to receive the "free" coins. and as they do their computer is infected and they lose their bitcoins.
The malware issue spread through supposed wallet download is the reason I do not like participating in any bounty that has such attached to part of the condition for hunters. And so far I have not have any issue with missing coin through hacks. I believe most hacks happen through this method.
1556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Russian Central Bank Admits It Can’t Ban Bitcoin on: May 05, 2020, 09:53:50 PM
Of course they can't do it, no one can.
They can, of course but the thing is that such a ban can only affect Russian citizens who are bitcoin fans, and not the world bitcoin community. China did that but it did not affect bitcoin outside China. The earlier the better for countries that are still joking with bitcoin to come back together and help bitcoin growth.
1557  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: If we are to start from beginning. on: May 05, 2020, 04:16:36 PM
I'd personally like to see less greed and an impact noticeability for people's actions, a lot of people not at the top aren't at the top because they can't handle their own funds an da lot of people near the top may have far too much influence over certain things people need...
Greed is a basic attribute of mankind. It will never go away, not even the destruction of the world will take it away. That is what man has become. On my part I will like to see a situation where I had the advance knowledge of what is happening now in 2010 when bitcoin was a shitcoin. I would buy a truckload and hold the way am holding some shitcoins now.
1558  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't hate long term promotions on: May 05, 2020, 02:15:23 PM
I avoid long-term bounties because most of them end up as scams after collecting cash from investors they disappear into thin air. I talk from experience. And once any bounty am in extends its duration without any corresponding increase in the bounty pool, I stop promoting that bounty. It is a bad sign, just like bounties which do not update their spreadsheets too. Short and simple is good for me.
1559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Why we trust binance exchange? on: May 05, 2020, 01:15:46 PM
Because it's being managed by a serious business-minded person CZ. He has put in place all measures just to get the attention of his community when it comes to trading on exchanges. They have built a solid brand for themselves and the exchange is very liquid too compared to others. Which exchange have you heard refunded its members after they were hacked! only Binance has ever done this.
Yes, this truth and I want to believe it stays this way for long. When we remember once great exchanges like coinexchange, polonix and bittrex and how unpopular they are now, we know that nothing stays up forever. Binance may not be invincible to new world challenges just like others before it was. Challenges will come but I want to think that Binance will overcome when it comes.
1560  Economy / Web Wallets / Re: IS MY BITCOIN WEB ACCOUNT DEACTIVATED, FROZEN OR DISABLED? on: May 04, 2020, 08:10:17 PM
My thinking is that there is a possibility that the wallet is outdated and should be updated. This can be the reason OP is unable to log in. He should try and update the app, and try again logging in.
