i think Nem price will rise a lot over next days, given the amount of stakes bought in the last days.
it'd be a surprise if it doesn't happen.
The asset has seen a very nice rice in value this week so I doubt it will go much higher for the time being. |

So just to be clear I take it Poloniex will have a few pairings then: SuperNet/Btc, SuperNet/BtcD and SuperNet/Nxt or have I got that wrong?
First, it will be TOKEN/BTC TOKEN/NXT, TOKEN/BTCD this is not for trading. then for trading it will be UNITY/BTC, UNITY/NXT, UNITY/BTCD What's UNITY ? Everyday i follow the threads connected to superNET I'm getting more and more confused  |

24 hours is more than enough, no point to delay more. I think there'll prob be people form different timezones participating so even if we assume everyone interested checks btt everyday I think at least 2 days are in order. |

Yes during beta which will be released this month, real coins will be distributed. Hopefully we can start the beta by the end of this month, but we need to test the beta as well, so launch will not be in september. I think what people want to know is will coins be distributed at beta launch or official launch. I think I recall one of the other devs saying distribution would occur at beta and he mentioned that bitcoin was technically still in beta. Coins will be distributed during beta yes. Not on beta launch though since - like bloodyrookie said - it should be tested a week or two. |

do you know anything of the supernetwork? boolberry has a serious shot at toppling monero.. they are even talking about BBR allot in the monero thread. the fact that is is part of supernetwork and there is so much buzz about supernetwork around and BBr being so much easier to use and faster than monero should mean there is room for healthy gains. besides that i mostly agree with you about anon coins and your other points.. but being in supernetwork and the amount of attention it is getting from monero is a good sign of things to come.. this is the first time i have bought an anon coin. im very impressed by the GUI and instillation process. its actually much smoother than the nem installation. obviously the tech doesnt compare though hense why im far more heavily invested in nem. who knows.. maybe il strike it very lucky and BBR will turn out to be the top anon coin..  Well BBR certainly deserves to top monero, with or without supernetwork hype, it solved cryptonote bloated blockchain issues and the qt client is the best and easiest to use among cryptonote coins. It's hyper fast to sync compared to slow *ss Monero blockchain. As for supernetwork, i don't know, can be big indeed but mostly in hype phase, each time a coin will join, the price will go boom but in the end, it's united coins under nxt tech and i think the only coin that will truly benefit in the long run will be nxt, as the big daddy chaperoning all alts Afaik BTCD is in the center of it all. NXT "only" lends it's AE. But that's what it's about. Uniting all kinds of coins to share their individual unique features among the entire network. Could go well but could also crash and burn. Tbh I'd rather have all necessary features in one concise platform than uniting different networks but we'll see. It'll definitely be interesting to watch |

Interesting read and something many proponents of Bitcoin never want to admit. I've been saying for a while now that Bitcoin is inherently flawed for a number of reasons, which is why I am moving most of my BTC holdings into next-gen crypto like NEM and other avenues of crypto-related investments. Of course, I am still holding on to some BTC because they could theoretically still fix a lot of the issues it has. It's not like it is set in stone forever and can never be changed, but the question is whether or not they have the capability or willingness to do so before it's too late. Meanwhile, next-gen cryptocurrencies like NEM are already shaping up to be better in almost every conceivable way than the 1.0 cryptocurrencies and once they get established, well... it may be too late for the likes of BTC and its clones. Just my thoughts on this matter.  We need to replace Bitcoin before it fails because if one crypto had wide adoption and failed other cryptos will have an even harder time every getting adopted again. |

You are a nemstakeholder. Not exactly one for the books as you weren't even sure but you're still on the list. You can't get real NEM yet so unless oyu want to trade assets on the NXT AE there's nothing for you to do. |

I think that there will be 130 - 150 stakes to sale on an auction. Althought I can't remember the details.
Yes I think it were 150 stakes that were to be auctioned. We're still planning on doing something like that but personally I'd like to see how many unclaimed stakes we have first. Also we'd like to not only sell more stakes we want to get more and new people in. Maybe we can somewhow use the stakes to attract some of the miners (not by letting them mine for the stakes but by converting them). Maybe we can use them to attract some completely non-crypto people via giveaways. Could also use them to found 3rd party projects that'll aid the ecosystem. Many possibilites but it'll prob be easier to decide once we have a number. |

I was talking with a dev 1 year ago about a coin that will only produce blocks when there is a transaction in it. The conclusion was that it wouldn't be possible to do it because an attacker can always outpace the main chain by making the maximum amount of blocks on a private but valid chain and then introducing that chain with an exchange double spend.
How was this solved here?
I'm wondering quite a few things and your concern makes a lot of sense. Could you guys maybe release a whitepaper or explain how exactly the confirmation and forging process works in NODE ? From what we'vre heard so far it's either brilliant, completely broken or somewhere in between which doesn't exaclty convey confidence I really don't mean to offend anyone but maybe could the dev explain it in his mother langauge and then have someone translate it. No offense but i think his english isn't good enough for a technical explanation. Next week we will release White Paper awesome - thx ! |

Are these the instructions we follow to request the stake? I mean, are these instructions still current?: NEMStake is an Asset on the NXT AE that represents 1 Stake of NEM and can be redeemed at launch of NEM. We transfer assets every monday, usually around 6pm GMT+2. You have to request your stake, through the following procedure at least 24hrs in advance or you'll have to wait for the next monday to come. You have to be a NEM Stakeholder in order to be eligible for an Asset.
Step 1: Send 1 NXT to NXT-97MX-EWKV-CGKX-DA5WH (wait for 1 confirmation) Step 2: PM xtester and patmast3r. The pm has to include the tx id of your 1 NXT payment. Step 3: Wait for your asset. We won't answer every pm we get. If you find your name on the list here https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/ccc?key=0Ak91SD0veCeddDdmTkdaWV8zbHp2dWlodDVEVUItbXc&usp=sharing#gid=14 you're going to get your asset with the next batch. would be nice if we can achieve a photo collection of people from all around the world showing the NEM logo with the typical scenery where she/he comes from. for example: - austria/germany/switzerland: alps, mountains in the back and a person (in lederhose or dirndl  ) shows the nem logo like on a promotional poster. - italy: venice in the backround or something else. - france: in front of the eiffel tower. - usa: on th ny time square maybe in comco with naked cowboy  - ... so the message could be: NEM.
