1541  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Failed in trade it's not joke. on: August 10, 2022, 09:46:15 PM
Im newbie in trading it is really hard to choose what margins if I will be in high or low margin. Due of not consistent value of the price I've doubt in myself if will learn in trading . One of my friend traders tell me more about trading and he just said to me that I must read more the sequences of trading and observe the graphic.

Until I learn little thing regards in trading , cause trade it's not a consistent it is just an analysis of us. Being a traders I'll become flexible and to be risk taker no matter what I've lost in my traded.

Being a risk taker doesn't benefit you all the time, but being flexible is really good. If you know to yourself that the trade your doing is good then go for it. But then if you feel like it ain't gonna do good, don't ever risk it.

Since that you said yourself that you are newbie does being a risk taker will bring you more knowledge? I sincerely suggest instead of being risk taker why not just instead learn the market ? Become more knowledgeable in trading. That'll benefit you more.
But in order to earn profits then you should need to take risk but its true that you should assess the risk level before you do dive in and shouldnt really make out rush decisions because this could result into disaster of
your funds. Trading is never been a joke thing and failing is part of it but majority of people do see it as a negative which it is but lets go to the brighter side that these fails and errors do really make you learn
overtime.Im not saying that you should continue on failing but try out to minimize as possible on which this would really make you a better trader or investor soon.
Just dont rush up and just do on what you do seem is right on different market conditions or situations.
1542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [DOTA2] PGL Arlington Major 2022 Prediction Thread on: August 10, 2022, 09:06:54 PM

There’s a high chance that the majors finals will gonna be China vs China since LGD and Aster still didn’t show any weakness and inconsistencies on there games. Team Aster usually choke on the first day of bracket but this time Monet still performing impressive and can be compared with Ame.

You cant really say that SEA is still inferior.. Try to look on Boom esports which had able to defeat a strong team Liquid although this one isnt the former one but still they do able to pull it off.

I have no doubts with LGD and wont be surprised if they would win this one and its true that Aster is a strong contender specially on HB against LGD.
This is what i do love when there are Chinese teams on tournament.

Current: Entity vs EG 1-1
1543  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Would you guys invest meme coins now? on: August 09, 2022, 10:29:39 PM
Sometimes I invest meme coins, but I never make it long term, the current red market conditions make many projects fail to survive, the best thing is that it is suitable for daily or weekly trading and with this simple technique we can get profit.
Yes I also do the same when investing in meme coins. Because I think meme coins are riskier when we hold them for a long time. Maybe my opinion is different from others, especially for meme coin fans.
Especially in the current market conditions, to be honest I only hold a few assets that already have high credibility.
Meme coins are never meant for long term investments since they easily drop their value when the market experience big crashes. That is why if you can’t sustain the risk and uncertainties that meme coins have, better to avoid investing in meme coins at all. However, if you have good strategies that are proven effective for meme coins, that’s fine, as long as you invest in meme coins with caution.
Even Dogecoin wayback isnt really getting that much attention but as one of the old coins and meme coin then it is somewhat getting some support from the community but not really on the extent where it do sits on

top ranking coins in the market until Elon do make out some involvement which ends up on having some significant movement into its price and then later on other meme coins that had been created had made out some

good price increase and thanks to hype but asking if its worth to invest now? Its up to someones choice but honestly its not really that recommendable.
1544  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Educating people on Bitcoin for free on: August 09, 2022, 09:37:32 PM
I have tried my best to educate people around me on the basic concept of Bitcoin and make them aware of the advantages and disadvantages of Bitcoin adoption and how best to minimize the risk associated with Bitcoin, to attain some level of self-satisfaction through Bitcoin.
So far I have never taught about Bitcoin, because I live in an area where in general a lot of people trade and invest on government-owned index exchanges, so generally they know about the Bitcoin process and procedure, as well as the actual uses and benefits of Bitcoin.

Of course, what you do to the people closest to you, by educating them to know Bitcoin as a beginner is a good step and idea that you do,  they will know how to take advantage of the virtues of Bitcoin as a digital currency and as an investment method, for their future financially.
For sure they had heard of it because its impossible that it cant be intertwined or be included into those markets whenever you do make out some trades but well it does depend on someones interest though because

even you do make yourself aware but if you arent that interest then you wont really be that touching no matter what. Teaching other people is something challenging to me but i dont really have any plans because i dont

like myself to be ending up on being blamed whenever they do lost their money on the time that they do make out investment but if there are someone whose interested then explaining to them at least wont be a bad idea.
1545  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion] Should Gambling be Banned? on: August 09, 2022, 12:18:08 AM
its really funny if any gambling site require KYC for their members.  most of gamblers want their identification hidden from any one , so if their gambling platform ask kyc to use services, i am believe most of them prefer find another platform.
Some gambling sites already treat KYC and other platforms will gradually follow the rules of KYC requirements so you have no other choice but to follow the rules, although I also don't agree with KYC but I don't have a solution when your favorite casino also requires identity verification.
Almost everyone hate KYCing, and if we are told to pass kyc at the time of registration on the casino, I think casinos won't have alot of customers, but unfortunately for us the users, this casinos know how to force kyc upon their users in a manner that the user will have just two choices or options rather ~
  • 1. Pass kyc verification and withdraw your money(winnings) which sometimes are big amount of money which can not be easily forfeited.
  • 2. Refuse to pass kyc and forfeit your money to the casino~which I believe no one has ever done, no matter how they hate to kyc.
This is attitude of requiring kyc only when the user wants to withdraw their money is not peculiar to casinos alone, many cryptocurrency exchanges does same thing.
So it do really ends up that we dont really have any choice but to exchange our personal information for the amount that we are trying to withdraw. Some might just forget it and give importance into their identity but

majority would really be complying just to pull off those money that you had stuck neither on a casino or exchange but we know that there are still casinos out there who doesnt really require kyc whenever before or after making deposits or even withdrawals and no surprise that they are the ones who do get significant number of users on this crypto market because people do really give importance about anonymity.
We do really hate KYC that much but no surprise that sooner or later the application or integration of kyc is always next on line.
1546  Other / Archival / Re: Entrepreneurship or Office job? on: August 08, 2022, 10:58:44 PM
I like doing new things but I like working for my boss as well, there is no reason why you shouldn't be doing both of them together. I do not have the time to do any new business startups right now, I do have a few ideas but I rather not do anything for the time being, I barely get enough time to sleep for the past year anyway because of personal reasons, family and health kind of stuff. But hopefully, in the future I will work proper time, and do not have my free time taken by emergencies and troubles, in that world I would definitely work and earn a salary, and use the other time to build a small business that I would be proud of, an online one of course.
Due to needs and necessity which it do really takes the chance or opportunity for us to invest because we are just earning sufficient just for those needs thats why investing is on least priority but there are people

who do really love their current jobs on which they arent tending to look for another venture because time would really be sacrificed on that which means everything would turn out to be non-balanced.

Yes, you do have the money but the time and health would get compromised then it would really be still useless i would say, so make up a decision which you do seem that first out for you.
1547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running household expenses with gambling on: August 08, 2022, 09:48:21 PM
Is it possible that we can run our household expenses with gambling ?

I am asking for those people who don't have any skill or job ?

It is possible of course, but then how stable does gambling it could be? Many people wants to settle their family with gambling, but end up to become broke. In my own opinion, it couldn't be we all know that you will experience losses in gsmling as well, soemtimes you will not get anything in return, all you have is the debt because you spend too much and you don't have anything now. Gambling can't be taken as passive income I'm sorry, I still treat it as recreational activty.

Man, seriously who does thinks gambling is a passive income? Gambling won't ever and never considered as passive income.
I've read a post in this section before that talks about gambling as a passive income. I was really confused how do the guy considered gambling as passive income?
Because first things first, you won't get profit without analysing how to win your wager, and that alone is an effort to earn money, that's not considered passive right?
Passive income means, the money works itself to multiply without you exerting some effort.
Like rentals.
This is definitely true or onpoint.Passive means you arent doing something and you still make money which we know that gambling does have that activity or you do need to make out bets which means it does accompanied with action which is already out of the said description.
Running household expenses with gambling? This cant be possible and i dont know on why some people does have  that kind of consideration or belief in mind?
Dont make yourself belief or making a fool do believe on things which are definitely not really happening no matter how hard you do try.
1548  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Can trading be likened to gambling and how so? on: August 08, 2022, 08:48:21 PM
I don't think trading is the same as gambling.
In trading, it is we who will determine the profit or loss. if you want to get out of a trade you made at a loss of course you do it on your own. it's not a matter of luck or a guess.
In gambling, when you place a bet, you have no control over your bet. It is the results published by the bookie that will determine your fate whether you will win or lose.
I guess the two are completely different.
It's already given above that they have some similarities but not completely the same. In trading, I thought you are the one who determines your outcome? So, why say trade at a loss? It's possible to incur a loss in trading because we don't have a full control with it but it was the market.

You only compare trading with sports betting but what about casino games? When you are betting multiple times and you use the autobet function, it is always possible to stop it before you lose all your balance. In sports betting, there is also multi bets and there is an option to cash out early but the profits that you will be getting is much lesser.
Risk could really be depending on how someone would be making trades because it would be completely be the same as gambling when you dont know on what you are doing which we know that it would really be normal.

Trading is a career and an investment which is totally opposing with gambling which is created for the sole purpose of entertainment and there's no way that you could really make yourself to make a career on this one

and make yourself sustainable. There might be some who do able to do so but its not ideal on forcing yourself on doing so because risk is high but well its your choice.
1549  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: My Recent Experience at a Land-Based Casino on: August 05, 2022, 07:36:24 PM
I think this is very tough situation. I think I would not enjoy my worker yelling at customer as other people can see it and it portrays casino with bad behavior. Although I don't think its disruptive for business. If he keeps coming even after losing many times he already casino much richer. I think giving guy a soft ban can save his life in such addiction periods. He may become more healthy gambler but still visiting my casino because he feels like family.
Maybe we can advise him not to yell at customers anymore because it could affect the business we run. Maybe it would be better if we went to the customer and had a nice talk alone so that he would understand the situation and not gamble again. We can explain that it's all for his own good because we care about our customers. I think it can work if we approach him personally so he won't be offended or have other feelings.

That is a different case with a different story because as for the OP's story, the shouted gambler is the uncle of the employee and there's a reason why the employee didn't hold his patience because the wife of that same uncle has recently given birth and his presence is frankly needed because the wife is much weak and vulnerable because of the labor she had been through. Surely, it could affect the casino because the other customers are not informed about that and they are shocked why the employee shouted but that incident can be talked by the management too.
Being impulsive sometimes cant really be avoided on some certain conditions or situations which you cant really that resist on making some actions even though you do know it wont be appropriate and would really be

putting yourself or your work at risk because being scandalous wont really be that good for any business around which it would really be just normal that management would really be imposing whether a warning or would
be completely be fired immediate after you have done such thing because anything that could affect their business is something that wont be appealing into their eyes but we dont know on what would be their decision.
So if you are a worker no matter what kind it is then you should set aside personal things so that you wont really be making such action.
1550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Running household expenses with gambling on: August 04, 2022, 10:30:40 PM
The ideal of running household expenses with gambling is really bad, gambling is not really guaranteed, your winning is not really assured, what if you keep on losing in gambling and you are having lot's of things to take care of how are you going to make money to do that, I believe nobody should rely on only gambling because you making money is not assured. The best thing is to get a job then you can still gamble and make extra cash.

That is why it isn't advisable to use gambling as the main source of income for those who are not popular on social media.  Even using the hard-earned money that is allocated to the households shouldn't be used because it will only bring a financial problem to the family.  We should implement that we can only use money that is free of allocation to use in gambling activities.
Its a suicide thing i would say and never been a wise move to be done on which making gambling to be an earning to run off your household expense? You would surely be fucked up and living on a miserable life

or kind of living because it cant really be just possible that you would able to sustain yourself and make a living with it because it cant really be just possible. Its better to make yourself mindful

on finding a day stable job and would avoid gambling as much as you can.On this way you would be definitely be working hard and wont be ending up on getting addicted
with gambling and messing everything up.
1551  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Best time to buy or wait a little bit ? on: August 04, 2022, 09:34:41 PM
I think it's a good time to buy some crypto. Sooner to later, it will rebounce. But keep some money aside because in case it drops further you still can buy some of it.
It is better to invest little by little rather than investing all the money in cryptocurrency at once.Cryptocurrencies are very difficult to predict when the market will move.If you want to make a long-term investment right now, you can buy and invest in some coins like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and BNB.But the market will grow very soon. Now is the right time to buy some coins, instead of investing all at once, invest step by step.
Never ever a good idea on making yourself on having that all in kind of behavior which is never been that recommended.Try to observe around on what the masses or community been doing

and if you do see that fear and blood is on the streets then this is the best time for you to make yourself greedy because you could really eventually able to maximize lowest price as possible and take advantage of it.

Best buy is on times like this which it doesnt really come often but since we are just human beings then it cant really be avoided that we are really somewhat get affected with these kind of situations.
1552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: [Discussion] Should Gambling be Banned? on: August 03, 2022, 11:10:43 PM
I have no problem banning gambling in Islamic countries that don't want to take advantage of it. Nor am I insisting that it should be legalized just because of multiple interests, but it is more likely for me to accept any reason to ban or legalize it.

Indonesia prohibits gambling, but in fact some online casinos get away with it without a clear ban. Some online slots and applications are left without restrictions even though they are in Indonesian jurisdictions. It just depends on the corrupt government, it's really up to them.
You could really expect that there would be exemptions whenever we do talk about corruption or something and since we do live on an era where connections and accessibility is easy then getting rid of something

is really hard to be completely blocked 100% since we are already on an era where everything could really be easily accessed through online despite on banning it completely.
I dont really see for it to be needed to be banned as long the government would impose such strict rules and reminders about gambling addiction and related to it.
People wont be really ending up on a disaster if they do just simply play in moderation.
1553  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Don't punic, just hodl on: August 03, 2022, 09:36:39 PM
If we are familiar with cryptocurrencies, it will not panic if you see the price of drop, especially those who are accustomed to investing in new listed coins that sometimes go up and down prices can reach hundreds of percent, of course the choice is in our hands, if brave with high risk then buy and hold , because if we panic then we will lose.
for some people , price drop was be their opportunity to earn money by buying good projects. Alot traders or investors buying potential coins while market in bearish trend. Profit never come if have no idea what we will doing in bearish trend. Panic maybe only happen to beginner investor that never seen crashing yet.
Even veterans or old people here on the market could still experience panic despite of the knowledge and awareness that they do have in the market. There's no such thing about being perfect trader or something like that

which it would be always have the chance where decisions could be altered or changed up basing on the condition or situation you are facing into.It might be easy to say that we should hold but when you are on the

actual situation then this would be the toughest thing to be done.If you do trust up crypto investment specially with Bitcoin then you wont really be stressing yourself out that much.
1554  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Btc not moving but we need every day some moves where the moves? on: August 03, 2022, 08:35:03 PM
You need pump as you say?

Go to the exchanges and trade and you'll have no control with pumps and dumps unless you're a whale and you're integrated with the other whales too.

I know that you know that the market is volatile and you can't force it to go according to what you like. It's not just going to happen even how hard you want and how hard you tell for it to pump.
He might be get used to into those low caps or shit coins who do make out some huge pumps or jumps into its price since we do know that these are the things that could really have those kind of behavior.

If you do find out that btc movement is boring or something that doesnt excite you then go ahead with low caps and try to play with its price movement but dont regret nor cry if you do find yourself get caught

with the dump and plummeting price considering that not all or almost of those coins turns out to be dead for a particular span of time and thats why majority doesnt really touch up these things.

1555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Macau's Casino Operation Continues Despite The Latest Outbreak on: August 02, 2022, 11:47:19 PM
For a country same as Macau which do heavily rely on gambling tax revenue then it would really be just normal that they would really be making such actions.

In the first place, we shouldn't really bother if Macau will still continue its gambling operation if there's an outbreak even in the future related to Covid-19 or any forms of mutations or variants of the virus. That's not the first time they are dealing with that problem and they know more how to handle it, of course, compare to other countries as they are used to it.

Besides, it's been several years now since the pandemic, therefore people in most countries are now well-aware of how to battle it. We are already fed by lots of information regarding the virus to the point that we can consider it now as a normal disease.

Just trust Macau on their actions. They know what they are doing.

Since this thread started, I think the gambling operation is now fairly smooth there and everything might be slowly going back to normal now.

as we can put it, they know what they are doing. they've been in this business for so long, with or without pandemic. as a small region, they can easily implement necessary protocols not only to their people but the tourists coming to this place. the in and out is quite easy to contain as you only have few points to take care of. you will understand if you happen to visit macau.
If they werent that prepared then for sure it would really spread like wildfire and its true that it is really just a small place but a very progressive one due to gambling industry and thats their main tourist attraction
thats why its really hard to make out such closure since this is  where they do get big revenue and one of the biggest contribution in terms of economic progress. Pandemic doesnt only affect few countries
but in overall corners of the world and each government would really imposing protocols and steps for them to minimize as possible without affecting much their main source
in terms of taxes or revenues.
1556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: My Retired Uncle's Gratuity Invested on Bitcoin on: August 02, 2022, 10:44:04 PM
I asked him to invest 30% of his gratuity fund into agricultural farming business since we are in the raining season, planting of arable cash crops like vegetables could be a good business with high demands,  another 30% into starting a roadside Snack Bar, while the last advise was to make an investment with the 40% left in Bitcoin
Let me start here: don't advise anyone to go into commercial farming if their interest isn't there. Farming isn't an easy business to indulge. It may look simple to the eyes as one would think it's just putting crops in the soil and watch them grow or just buying a few birds from the hatchery and allow them roam around, feed and grow. Farming is like taking care of life. Crops and birds die the same way humans do too.

I've mixed reaction on the invest in Bitcoin thing for elderly people. I feel elderly people should learn how to relax and have a feel of life through nature. Watch birds sing. Everything isn't about making money. Old people should steer clear of Bitcoin. It's volatile and erratic. That won't be good for their frame of mind, as most of them are prone to high blood pressure disease.
Since they are old then it would be understandable that they are really having those issues with health and its true that whenever you do reach out into this particular age level then money wont really be the main

priority but rather making yourself relaxed after all the years you've been into and trying out to face up lots of challenges just to raise up your kids and make them grow and live their own lives.

Your responsibility is already done and enough and aiming for more money is somewhat pointless on this particular time. Its not bad to aim for money but it should be on that certain extreme extent.
1557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Rise of Streamers in Online Gambling on: August 02, 2022, 09:45:33 PM
There is no difference between fake money and real money. But there is a difference between a fake game or with honest results. If the streamer plays honestly, then most likely he will lose in front of his audience and there is no difference if it was fake or real money. Another thing is if the result is rigged so that he allegedly wins and thus encourages the audience to play too. This already looks like a scam.
You would really notice it but of course it would really be depending on someones eyes because most of the time we do turn out to be greedy whenever we do see someone is winning or hitting big on the time that he

plays or some streamers had been doing that which it would really be not ethical if they would rig out the results for it to make winning chance higher which is something that we should look for.

No surprising that influencers or youtubers become more rampant or many not only on gambling industry but also in other as well.So better be wary of these things
as a viewer because you dont know if those are fair sites or not.

After all, it's their job. They must be monetized. By the way, I heard that due to the end of the pandemic, which gave a big boost to steaming and streamers and the upcoming recession in the economy, their incomes are falling and will fall even more in the future. Therefore, it can be assumed that some desperate ones will go for even more murky advertising schemes.
Now that pandemic is coming into its end then expect that there would be less streamers as casual marketing would really be going back to normal and i agree on the thing you've said about those desperate ones would be touching up some areas which is something not to be that good anymore to look at or something related with those other schemes. Its true that this is their job and same goes on typical day jobs we do have,
some might be saying that we should'nt make it personal but in general sense there's something on it which doesnt really look good.
1558  Economy / Trading Discussion / Re: Prompt safe staking with good APY on: August 02, 2022, 08:36:33 PM
It is really much more better if you do accumulate
on your own with your own wallet and earn percentage gains or profits in a years time but of course its not guaranteed for it to happen.
But it's much safer than locking up one's assets in a third party platform all in the name of staking. Bitcoin can make gains of over 10% in a week or month if one buys it at the perfect time.

For some reason, people, especially newbies, feel “safe” when they send their assets to a centralized and custodial exchange and have the assets staked for months or years without caring about consequences in case things don't go as planned.
Because we got used to that, for example banks which give interest for our money deposited but it is less than the actual inflation rate so we are actually losing money while we deposited there for long time but as a common man they don't realize it and the same kind of thing or traditional also followed here as well when people entering into this market.

You are protected by the law when you put your money in the bank and you have insurance in case something to the bank that result to lost of your money. On the other hand staking is very risky because you are entrusting your money to a company that has no legal obligation to its investors money. Celsius is the best example here, People who stake money there will the least priority in case they totally go to there bankruptcy plan.

@logfiles suggestion has a lot of sense to be honest because it’s very safe and also profitable. APY on yield farming usually provides 20% and below which is not worthy if you suffer the same scenario on Celsius investors.
Whenever you do have plans or considerations on starting up on putting some funds or investment with staking platform or companies then you should really be thinking about the risk involved and try to make out

some research about those past or histories which do involves out bankruptcy and other issues related to this and trying out to balance if you could bare up on the risk or not.

Yes,you cant really able to ignore on how much you could really earn which is really much better compared to traditional but of course the risk is higher.
1559  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Your ultimate choice? on: August 01, 2022, 09:47:24 PM
Bitcoin has longevity & proven to only go up over time (with volatility in between). ETH is OK but all the other shitcoins I do not trust at all. You can not be safe in centralised coins, they can rug you at any moment. Bitcoin is decentralised, nobody can take your bitcoin from you. Countries can ban it & or mining but so what, bitcoin can not be stopped. A new block is mined every 10 minutes & there's nothing anybody can do about it. Proof of work is the best.
Had been proven out since this crypto market starts when we do talk about potential or rise up in prices. Also with ETH, it wont be standing in 2nd place in overall market if it was shit.

Never ever touch up altcoins with low caps but there are some hidden gems and truly underrated or havent been discovered yet but its up to someone on taking up the risk.

Ultimate choice? BTC for sure but if you could able to take up some risk on throwing some funds into other coins then it would really be on someones choice.
1560  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Is it profitable to hedge/cashout bets before end of sport event? on: August 01, 2022, 08:39:06 PM
in this scenario the best choice is to cashout because the person would already have a profit instead of taking the risk of lose everything

Taking risk is always part of the game though. Yeah it could be profitable to cashout regarless of the result for the next game on the slip because it would have already been profit but honestly whats the point of adding X amount of games in the betslip if you are going to cash it out before the last game is played?

Pretty much should stick to only the games that you are confident on winning instead of adding random games on it then hope that it will win before you hit the cash out button
I would rather prefer on losing a bet on a game where i do enjoy on watching rather than on losing a bet on a game which i dont really have any idea.I did able to experience for how many times on doing bets
which is really out of the scope of my knowledge or we could say its completely zero.Yes, you could feel some excitement when you do win but when you lose then you cant just accept it but it would really
differ since people does have different approach and reactions when it come to this situation but in overall it would really be depending on you whether you cash out early or would
really wait up until the game finishes.
