What we are seeing is in fact nothing new, while it is true that during a crisis value can be destroyed most of the time what we see is a huge value transference from the poor and middle class to the rich class, and there are examples of this in the past, during the Great Depression despite all the suffering that people had to endure all over the world more millionaires were created during that era than at any other previous point in history, so it is not surprising something similar is happening in this era too. Or shall we say that common cycle of life?  Not on literally but in speaking with financial capacity which you could really see the difference in between lower to higher class.There might be some millionaires or businessmen who got affected with this pandemic but much sure that the poor ones do suffer the most because in most case whenever any company do losses up revenue then they are trying out to compensate and who are the ones who would be affected? I don't like this kind of market when it's already "already obvious" to everyone that we're breaking through $28k and going lower at $20/18k. Usually at times like this we can make a nice bounce all the way up to $40k and only then go lower.
I mean, for me it's an obvious bear market already but things could change easily, that's why the market is very unpredictable. However, entering a short trade have much higher chance of making profits than going long for a trade. Buying in every dip is a good action also, it ain't that bad to buy at $28,000 then wait for it to hit $40K-$50K again if it's gonna happen this year. Good idea, but the question is, are you willing to hold and won't panic if the price will dump again? I know the crypto has dipped already, however, the market is very unpredictable, who knows, there might be more dips coming. Take the opportunity to buy, don't look back and just hold with confidence, I think that's the smart thing to do. First world countries won't experience a legitimate crisis. I consider a legitimate food crisis to be famine and starvation. Wealthy countries can hoard food imports or afford to pay a premium price for food exports. They might also limit some of their own food exports to stock up. The poorer countries won't be able to afford the premium price tag on food, and those are the countries that will suffer from extreme famine.
It's unfortunate that in a world where many in the developed world are obese or overweight that people can go without food and starve to death, but these are issues with logistics more than actually having a shortage of food.

The cost of living is increasing because the current growth model of the world is simply not sustainable. The earth is hollowing out. We have already mined deep and flattened the mighty mountains. The sea, sky and earth is polluted. I see no future if we don't mend our ways and go for a more sustainable growth.
