Games starts on Saturday for this week so we have enough time and I think BBC Premier League predictor will be available for the next round before Friday night or Friday night at max. This upcoming week looks like it has some difficult games to predict but in fact is better this way because we all thought Chelsea to win last week but Chelsea equalized.
1542  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BITCOIN SUPREMO FREE PREMIUMS on: January 17, 2018, 07:12:31 AM
After another win yesterday let's go and play another FA cup tonight. Odd is not big at 1.4 but worth playing. I think Chelsea needs to score at this game at any cost since they have had some latest dry spells.

CHELSEA VS NORWICH---- CHELSEA -1 ASIAN HANDICAP
1543  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: I got this idea about eSports and betting. Opinions? on: January 16, 2018, 07:59:26 AM
As long as many casinos or sport bookies offer me to bet on esports without the need to come to your place to bet on some strangers who are playing for their honor and glory against each other, I would rather bet from the comfort of my couch at my dark room where I feel cozy.

Still as an idea is a good one but I don't think it will interest to many gamblers. Gamblers prefer to play in full anonymity , what you are going to do is to destroy anonymity if you will gather gamblers at your place.

I got Man Utd 3-0 Stoke correct, I’ve been doing really badly lately so needed a boost tonight, think this will put me on 100 points for the round. Hopefully I close in on cicciobtc in 3rd.

I got that correct score too, it brought me up to 60 points making this week not so miserable as I thought. I am in 6th place now but the difference between the top is not that big, a good week with 3-4 correct scores can bring into top spot, of course if I am able to repeat the 200 points success of last week.

After another win yesterday let's try to continue our winning run. Not many games today but we have FA cup so going to play there.

Leicester vs Fleetwood town---- Leicester -1 ASIAN Handicap
1546  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Premier League Prediction Thread (EPL) on: January 15, 2018, 07:50:14 PM
If you check the flashscore application in your phone , latest version , you will see that Man.Utd has some important players who are not playing tonight. The most important of them being Ibrahimovic and Young. Other players missing from Man.Utd are Bailly and Carrick. I think we will not see a lot of goals in tonight games starting in few minutes, I expect a narrow win of Man.Utd tonight.
1547  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Can maths help you win in gambling ? on: January 15, 2018, 07:29:53 PM
Math cannot help you in roulette and Martingale is the most known way to bankruptcy but only because casinos have put betting limits. Martingale system works extremely, well if casinos(I am talking about offline ones where possibility for the ball to hit 100 times out of 100 always red is impossible statistically) have not put betting limits , with an unlimited bankroll you are guaranteed to beat the casino with the Martingale system.

Maybe math can help you a little when playing texas holdem poker or Blackjack but that is difficult too and doesn't give you a clear advantage over the casino.
1548  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting Discussion Thread on: January 15, 2018, 07:09:18 PM
Unless I get zero points one week this will probably be my worst week ever at a mere ten points (and joined only with ajaxmoor - and I'm not counting the others on zero who probably just didn't enter their predictions).

The Liverpool game just goes to show that sometimes it pays to mix it up a little or go against the grain with your predictions, but nobody would have had the balls to go with 4-3 haha. I thought I was risky with my 2-3 prediction  Grin.

I'm not going to state my score for tonight cos I really could do with the 40 points haha.

I should be happy with 20 points then. Following your example for tonight by not showing my prediction for Man.Utd. However I know that I have  put a score which 99% is sure to not be hit as a correct score. I would be glad with 10 points and a Man.Utd win tonight. Looking forward to next week as this will be marked as the most disastrous week for all the participants of this betting pool no matter the result of tonight game.
1549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Phising and scamming is getting out of hand on: January 15, 2018, 12:13:17 PM
Its really sad the amount of people who are getting scammed out of their coins by criminals. For every ico there seems to be a phising website. I came across a crowd sale site the other day that looked convincing and I thought about contributing but because I am a website designer I could see something was not quite right. I checked the URL with one from a ico review site and could see it was a scam. I'm lucky because I have enough experience to spot it but newbies don't know about this and are getting screwed left right and centre.

People are making fake nano ledger's and selling them on ebay, there's phising shape shift copies, emails trying to extract your mew key and dodgy bitcoin fork wallets stealing private keys. It's like the whole industry is under attack by some very clever people and I wonder can anything be done? Can phising websites be reported and taken down?

The weird thing is that if the criminals just invested in crypto rather than stealing other peoples they would probably make as much money and not have to go through all that effort. Does anyone know if this a really big problem or is it a few isolated cases.

That is why you will find many threads in the forum, in the alternative clients section usually but even in some other parts of the forum where people ask where to buy the hardware wallet and the answer from all experienced members is : Never buy from another source (Ebay) but always buy from the official website.

For Nano S the correct website is https://www.ledgerwallet.com
For Trezor the correct website is https://www.trezor.io
1550  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Which coin do you think is best for gambling? on: January 15, 2018, 07:24:39 AM
Bitcoin is the most popular one. However if the casinos move to Ethereum, Zcash or any other good altcoin the confirmation time will be real fast compared to Bitcoin. I personally love to deposit and withdraw only Bitcoin but I can do the same with Ethereum for example without caring much. So in the end it remains in the idea of the development of the casino which coins they want to accept.
1551  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BITCOIN SUPREMO FREE PREMIUMS on: January 15, 2018, 06:47:07 AM
After a win yesterday let's start this week with an easy win hopefully and continue to make win after win, that's my main objective of this thread.
Today very few games so below is the tip

Manchester United vs Stoke City-----Manchester United -1 Asian Handicap
1552  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Where to advertise gambling site on: January 14, 2018, 08:21:14 PM
Since i too own a gambling website i was about to ask this question.  good that you asked and many people answered their feedback here. but no one said the approx cost that would require to do these promotions.

approximately how much in USD is required to promote the site actively in this forum?

No one can tell you approximately the cost in USD but you can do some calculation. If you intend to run a signature campaign first decide how much will you pay the campaign manager, second decide from which group you want your site to be promoted i.e rank of users, good campaigns usually start from Full Members and up to Legendary, however you can make it only with Sr.Members and Heros if you have a limited budget. After you will need to know how many members you want to do the promotion of your site through their posts, usually 20 Sr.Members and 10 or 15 Heros is the way to go. Last decide how much you will pay and time of payment, weekly, bi-weekly or monthly. Usually it is 0.006 btc for Sr. and 0.008-0.01 btc for Heros weekly.

Convert these in dollars and you have your answers, don't forget to multiply the weekly cost for the total number of participants.

Signature campaign managers can help you more but I think I covered 90% of what you asked here.
1553  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Portuguese League Prediction Thread (Primeira Liga) on: January 14, 2018, 07:42:13 PM
This league is becoming interesting, just one point divides the two top teams but I think that this year Sporting have better chances to win compared to Porto. During this week both teams have relatively easy games ahead.

For today I think a good bet would be on Sporting to win to nil against Aves.
1554  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting Discussion Thread on: January 14, 2018, 07:19:47 PM
For me it was a disaster today, I did only 30 points with 7 matches.
I hope not to lose too many positions this week!

Well I only got ten points so far. I expected many wouldn't do very well after I saw the scores. I narrowly missed out on a correct score in the Spurs game as I predicted 3-0. Hopefully I can reclaim some points on the last two games but I think they will both be difficult and could go any of the three ways but can see draws/very close games.

I've just seen that only 3 players have scored more than 30 points with a maximum of 50 points, so this week it seems like there will not be big changes in the standings.
today I will risk winning Liverpool against the Manc. City!

You got your reward , I find it strange how Liverpool beat Man.City today but well done to you and buwaytress for betting on Liverpool and winning. Arsenal lost today , I missed correct score by just one goal there, I guess this was the most disastrous week for me , right after the most wonderful one.
1555  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: How many Bitcoins would it take for you to Quit Gambling Forever? on: January 14, 2018, 11:47:53 AM
I will stop once I reach 100 BTC with current FIAT price. That would be 1.5 mln dollars and I would be very happy to never gamble again or ever visit a casino again. I can start my own business, buy the house I always wanted, be my own boss, and keep a part in bank as savings. Why to continue to gamble when you have the lifestyle you always wanted ?
1556  Economy / Services / Re: ★☆★ 777Coin Signature Campaign ★☆★ (Jr-Hero Accepted) on: January 14, 2018, 11:28:46 AM
I have generated a wallet that starts with "3" on electrum 3.0.5 so basically that means Segwit has been enabled right? Will adopt and go for the changes after your announcement regarding the update of our addresses. I'm still figuring it out on how to generate that "bc1" wallet (bech32 address) w/ electrum.
No, not all P2SH addresses are segwit addresses (P2SH-P2WPKH).

Switching to a bech32 address would be pretty easy for me, yet I don't want to do that without asking you guys for your opinion and giving you enough preparation time.
After all, things are supposed to go smooth for both sides, not just me.

For me there is no problem as long as this remains optional . I believe is easy for anyone who want to switch to Segwit with Electrum wallet, they need to just open a new wallet from the current Electrum (3.0.5) and in the beginning there is the option to choose Legacy or Segwit.
1557  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: Bitcointalk English Premier League pool betting Discussion Thread on: January 14, 2018, 11:16:30 AM
I thought I was the only disaster this time but I see the average points for the week is 30 so I guess everyone had a miserable week so far. Since this week has gone in a disastrous way I am saying what I have bet on the big game today afternoon, I have placed City to win.

I am 2-2 for Arsenal today.
1558  Economy / Gambling discussion / Re: BITCOIN SUPREMO FREE PREMIUMS on: January 14, 2018, 10:34:39 AM
This week was the worst no matter the result of today, a really big surprise from Chelsea yesterday who surprised anyone I believe. Feel free to not follow today tip although I am confident in a win today.

BOURNEMOUTH VS ARSENAL--- Away team to WIN TO NIL = NO
1559  Other / Off-topic / Re: Everybody is joining.. on: January 13, 2018, 09:13:51 AM
This is true mostly for poor countries, especially India, Bangladesh and Pakistani among the most well known to starting to join and invest in the crypto space. I can understand them as they have medium monthly salary of 50 USD or 0.003 btc , payment which here in Europe is considered to say the least ridiculous. Many other not rich countries like eastern Balkan countries like Romania, Serbia, Montenegro, Macedonia, Albania and even Kosovo I am seeing are starting to take mining very seriously. This is good for such countries but for countries like mine and Western Developed countries, many people are still skeptical about joining the crypto space.
1560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Bitcoin entering the stock market, bad idea ? on: January 13, 2018, 07:45:00 AM
Since early December bitcoin is online in stock market, many analytic softwares like Reuters, Bloomberg, EKA, etc have put a quote in their program to see bitcoin actual price. While many thought this would have been a great idea, now we are seeing its effects and they are not as good as anticipated. I would say this was a bad idea as the beauty of bitcoin was a really large volatility in price, while from the date entering the stock market, bitcoin price has not seen anymore large swings in price. What do you think ?
