1541  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: India’s Blockchain Coffee Platform Onboards 30,000 Farmers on: November 13, 2019, 10:52:22 AM

To all India fanatics here, do you honestly believe that a “change of heart” would come in due time, starting off with this interesting news? Let me know your thoughts here.

Thanks!

Now there are many projects that want to partner with blockchain technology because now some people prefer blockchain-based technology projects, but I think India's onboard coffee launched this project, they just want to advance their coffee products to be more noticed by other countries, even though they make projects like but governments in India will continue to ban bitcoin or cryptocurrency in their countries because they think bitcoin will threaten their currencies.
1542  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: What type of Cryptocurrency is used in the Deep Web for transactions? on: November 13, 2019, 09:31:03 AM
I know that the deep web mainly uses cryptos as a means of transactions for people who want to buy things over there, but what type of cryptos are mainly used when making those transactions? It’s just a curious question I have in my mind.

I have heard before that the deep web basically uses bitcoin to transact, but as the crypto world developed, most of them now use altcoin or other shitcoin like Eth, Dash and Monero between three coins. I think those who are far away on the web prefer to use Monero on the black market because coin privacy, traceability, and Monero transaction costs are generally relatively low, so far it has been estimated to have reached 34k crypto theft.
1543  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Disney plus+ service begins today. Do you think if they accept a crypto on: November 13, 2019, 07:45:40 AM
in my opinion the Disney project will definitely accept crypto because there are now many film projects competing to advance the quality of their projects to be more easily adopted by the public, especially in today's highly sophisticated technology that allows some people to prefer crypto for their payments, and I hope Disney will be a good project and can entertain us when we are bored with a good film screening.
1544  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Service Discussion (Altcoins) / Re: Bounty Hunters Please Explain This ? on: November 13, 2019, 05:57:46 AM
at the end of this year if we see the prize hunter has decreased compared to last year because now there are so many projects that hold social media campaigns and the ico project almost doesn't give us prizes, even though like that but I personally currently always follow the campaign project because I think all that we follow there will definitely be one campaign that really pays for our hard work and for me there is no obstacle to joining the prize campaign if we want to succeed.
1545  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is twitter a good source of info? on: November 13, 2019, 04:24:23 AM
I'm trying to build a bitcoin news twitter
https://twitter.com/bitcoinsights

What do you think?
Leave your valuable thoughts Smiley

yes it might be a good thing for you to promote cryptocurrency through your Twitter account, but I think Twitter is not a good thing to send bitcoin information because basically Twitter is a real-life based social media every day, in my opinion you should use steemite, medium , and reddit to promote cryptocurrency I think this platform is much better for doing that.
1546  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: People are underutilizing Bitcoin on: November 12, 2019, 12:37:05 PM
Full article: https://www.forrestvisions.com/blog/people-are-underutilizing-bitcoin

People need to start accepting Bitcoin and keeping it, not converting it.

If you think of Bitcoin as just a virtual placeholder for fiat currency, stable coins will be the future and Bitcoin will slowly fade away.

Thoughts?

Basically, bitcoin is one of the coins used as an asset protection value for the future, while some of it is used to invest or trade with bitcoin to get small profits, and in my opinion bitcoin can also be used as a virtual currency when experiencing economic crises such as we have seen in certain countries, and I'm sure even though some people use bitcoin for it, bitcoin won't fade because most people are more interested in bitcoin than other stable coins.
1547  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: What Will You Do To Recover Bitcoin? on: November 12, 2019, 10:10:06 AM
In 2010, you came across a site that was giving away bitcoins. The site said it was free money so you signed up. You were logging in to figure out how it was money but couldn't. The last time you logged in you had more than 100 bitcoins. Later you forgot about the site until 2017 when a ponzi was advertising Bitcoin. Bitcoin? The name rang a bell and you stated hearing stories. You remembered you must have many bitcoins  somewhere but you can't even remember the name of the site. How would you recover your BTC?
I think this is very slim our hope to restore a site that has been almost 10 years let alone we do not remember the site that we explored in 2010, because it's quite a long time, I personally will definitely do something to restore it in How to explore the history of cloud synchronization in our cellphones, might help us get the data we explored in that year.
1548  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: China Looking to Spend $2 Billion on Blockchain by 2023 on: November 12, 2019, 07:17:55 AM
What would be your thoughts about China spending $2 billion on blockchain in 4 years from now? What would be the possible effect in the cryptocurrency market?

the Chinese government they are always developing any technology in their country as we have seen lately they collaborate with blockchain technology with the aim of creating their own digital currency that runs on the blockchain system, even though in China blockchain technology has been formalized but we cannot say it will very influential in raising the price of the crypto market because so far no one really knows about the market trading volume in the country.
1549  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Permission to Use Bitcoin Logo on: November 12, 2019, 05:45:32 AM
I’ve tweeted @bitcoin for permission to use their bitcoin logo on a t-shirt. Waiting on a reply. If perhaps it was missed or something. Is there any other way to request permission from bitcoin.org?

if we want to use bitcoi logos on clothing or make banners with bitcoin logos, I don't think we should ask for permission on twitter @bitcoin or other similar sites because bitcoin is not protected by copyright and bitcoin is unknown, now we see a lot of people using bitcoin-themed clothes to become trendy and attract some people to know bitcoin.
1550  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Bitcoin and tax in your countries on: November 11, 2019, 09:44:41 AM
Can you share situation in your country?

actually in my country the government has now made tax laws for bitcoin users or other virtual currency users have been taxed, because the popularity of cryptocurrency has increased even though the government of my country has not ratified bitcoin as a legal payment tool, but they only ask for tax from every the owner of a digital currency exchange company is only 10%.
1551  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Do you think that cryptos such as Bitcoin would be mainstream? on: November 11, 2019, 07:48:28 AM
I was just wondering if one day it would be possible for cryptos such as Bitcoin (BTC) OR Ethereum (ETC) to become mainstream one day for people to use for day to day transactions on a daily basis. Because I heard that the people in Zimbabwe with their economic difficulties use cryptocurrencies as a means of trade.

Would the world adopt cryptocurrency as a means of transaction, what do you guys think?

that might happen but not in a short time because now some governments in the country haven't really inaugurated bitcoin or other crypto to make transactions, even with things like that but I'm sure in the future crypto will have the same role as currencies paper (fiat) used by the community for their daily needs, and if all that happens in the future it might be very helpful to make it easier for the community to transact.
1552  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: For new people, when they go on the journey to bitcoin. on: November 11, 2019, 06:56:04 AM
these are good words to motivate others.

Conclusion:
You don't always have to wait out of the chair with your feet up on the table, you don't reach your destination that way. Nothing will fall from heaven into our pocket.
We must give 100% of ourselves to succeed what we want.

I think that's very true what is in those words because we often see people who want to succeed in the future they always work hard and always find ways to develop their lives so they become successful people and they don't give up easily even though many trials in their work, unlike lazy people who always complain with their work.
1553  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Who is the single most influential person in Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2019, 04:15:47 AM
my go to is McAfee  Grin The guy obviously knows how to bring in more people into Bitcoin because of his overhyped price prediction.

I'm not really sure you chose John Mcafe to represent bitcoin in my opinion John Mcafe is not a smart and good person for that even though he has launched several projects, unlike Andreas Antonopoulos who has a lot of experience and can also understand many things about bitcoin.

I would personally choose Andreas Antonopoulos to represent bitcoin because in my opinion he is worthy in that field.
1554  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Why only 6.2 percent of American citizens own Bitcoin? on: November 11, 2019, 02:14:15 AM
According to this article , only 6.2% of a highly developed country like the US of America own Bitcoin , which seems unreasonable among the crypto community who rely on the Americans for Bitcoin to be mass adopted quite fast around the world. Here is the link of the news:
 https://www.tronweekly.com/bitcoin-advisory-founder-shares-research-that-shows-6-2-percent-of-american-citizens-own-bitcoin/

maybe because there are several factors that make some Americans not interested in adopting bitcoin, maybe it's because their country's government doesn't like bitcoin and prohibits cryptocurrency in that country, and maybe they aren't interested in bitcoin because for them bitcoin can't be used to meet daily needs day is not like fiat money that we can use anytime and anywhere, but in my opinion 6.2% is included in a decent amount compared to other countries.
1555  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: How BIG will the crypto market be if China legit cryptos? on: November 10, 2019, 12:36:52 PM
Billion? Trillion?Quadrillion?

of course this will really help increase the very high market if in China approve crypto because we know that China is one of the most developed countries in the field of trade and there are also many investors in the country and China is also known as one of the big bitcoin mining countries in among other countries, it's likely in my opinion if it happens in their country, maybe this will increase market development by around a trillion.
1556  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: The CEO of Twitter held a Bitcoin Meetup! on: November 10, 2019, 10:45:49 AM
Twitter's Co-Founder and CEO paid a courtesy visit to Nigeria as part of his listening and learning tour. He recently met with tech leaders in Nigeria and just today, he had a Bitcoin Meetup with some of the biggest Bitcoin and Blockchain Enthusiasts.

maybe in my opinion Twitter CEO and technology leaders in Nigeria they held a meeting to discuss about the launch of the cryptocurrency project because previously Nigeria had also launched their own cryptocurrency project even though not many were interested in their previous project, Hopefully in the future. they will collaborate with ceo twitter to be more advanced because we see now twitter is one of the most popular social media in the community.
1557  Economy / Speculation / Re: What Could Make Bitcoin Drop To $5? on: November 10, 2019, 06:53:10 AM
I was just wondering if it is possible. What event or series of events could crash the price of Bitcoin to $5? What will you do if that happens?

I am sure it will not happen in a short time because we know that adoption of bitcoin is now very popular for everyone, but we do not know also in the future if we all have to experience events like that maybe because of certain factors such as the occurrence of the third world war.
and if that happens I might sell my bitcoin for $ 10 instead of losing everything.
1558  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Never possible earn free bitcoin without work. on: November 10, 2019, 05:03:04 AM
I think now it is very difficult to get bitcoin for free even though we have tried as many as possible because now many of the projects we have met are mostly scams, but if we want to participate in the Kanpanyen signature, of course this is rather complicated because we must have the skills and experience great that we can follow in that field and here beginners certainly can't follow it, but I'm a little doubtful about the ptc site because in the past I also searched for bitcoin with that website but I was very disappointed because they didn't pay me.
1559  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: David Marcus Is Pro Bitcoin? :o on: November 09, 2019, 12:50:58 PM
Cool article about how Marcus (head of Facebook's Libra) views Bitcoin:

https://cryptotradernews.com/cryptocurrency/i-dont-think-of-bitcoin-as-a-currency/

What's funnny is that the guy is obviously biased towards Libra and yet sees the usefulness in Bitcoin. Digital Gold!

Thoughts?

lol .. It sounds a bit funny with an article that says Libra will compete with Bitcoin to solve the problem, and according to what David Marcus said there is no point at all because he considers bitcoin not a digital currency, while satoshi first made bitcoin himself saying that bitcoin is the currency digital can help people who are experiencing an economic crisis.
1560  Bitcoin / Bitcoin Discussion / Re: Is it possible to fake the BTC blockchain? on: November 09, 2019, 08:34:22 AM
It's a bit of time I'm asking myself this question.
Let's imagine the following situation:
A guy visits another guy to receive a payment in BTC.
He doesn't have mobile internet connection, so he asks his host to connect to his host's wi-fi.
His host, that we assume for the sake of our inquiry wants to scam his guest, connects him to a fake internet in which the real BTC blockchain was forked in order to fake a transaction that in really will never happen.
So once the first guy will go back home he'll see that his payment has disappeared.
Is this situation technically possible?

I don't think they can fool people like that because the bitcoin blockchain has so many blocks that each transaction requires block verification, it's impossible to manipulate or send fake bitcoin, unless they use third party applications or sites that cannot be reached by the blockchain technology created by the recipient to be sent via a fake application.
