1561  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: Exchanges manipulation. Can't withdraw during the pump. on: February 19, 2019, 02:11:54 AM
I am not using hotbit.io though, but some of my friend also has some issues with this exchange. You can complain on their ANN thread, if they have any thread in this forum. I don't have any experience like you do, but as a trader I know that I will be very upset if I was in your position, you have lost big opportunity. Moreover after a long bear market.

~snip
. Did the exchange decided to cash out on a different exchange? Probably never know what there doing.

And this is absolutely possible to happen, that's why I think we need to move to decentralize exchange.
1562  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: How to sell Bitcoin in my own website with credit cards on: February 19, 2019, 02:02:22 AM
I think the most simple way is that you can use some third party like paypal, it is very easy to install on your website, there are tons of tutorial on how to do it. And the fee is not too expensive in my opinion.
However I agree with this opinion here,
Its too risky, you will be met with a barrage of scammers using stolen credit cards and claiming chargebacks against you.  If you do plan on doing this charge large fees to cover these losses and make sure everyone does a KYC.

You will meet some scammer, that using hacked credit card/paypal and claim refund, even your related paypal/credit card account might be ban too.
1563  Alternate cryptocurrencies / Altcoin Discussion / Re: How to make money on cryptocurrency in 2019 on: February 19, 2019, 01:56:18 AM
How to make money on crypto in 2019? It is the same as on the other field, learn some skills that is required by the crypto community, then brand and promote yourself. Some people might say that they can just simply join signature campaign, even cheating using multiple account, and spamming this forum, but trust me it won't last. Eventually we need to learn some good skill that is needed by the industry. The signature campaign is just another additional small money.
1564  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Binance is going to de-list 5 coins on 22nd Feb (CLOAK, MOD, SALT, SUB & WINGS)! on: February 18, 2019, 12:57:00 PM
Most of the project are just trash, the only reasons Binance listed them are because they can pay, I pity the poor developer and project owner. But, I surprise I saw SALT there, just one year ago the project seems solid and has good vision, I think the bearish market is starting to take down some solid projects.
1565  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Attention! KYC data sold on the Dark Web! Proofs! on: February 18, 2019, 12:50:46 PM
This is why many people move to decentralize exchange, like IDEX, Etherdelta and so on. However, those exchanges are far behind the Centralized exchanges in term of features, UI/UX, and stability. There also some centralized exchanges that is not require KYC, but most of them don't provide any customer support, so it is more risky to put your money there.
I think the best option is register in a local exchange, that limit their user to certain nationality, so it is not too hard for handling user and the KYC data, so it is not easy to get hacked.
1566  Economy / Service Discussion / Re: Freewallet and Stellar? on: February 18, 2019, 12:32:24 AM
I saw some people have issues with free wallet, but I used freewallet when I am new to crypto, I can say that it is very user friendly, everything is good I made some transaction using freewallet, nothing is bad, except the fee is extremely high. But after I know more about crypto, I surf this forum for a while, I believe it is better to use a wallet that we actually manage. I mean it will be better if we have our private key, and can back up our wallet.

1567  Economy / Exchanges / Re: Coinmama Hacked 450,000 Users Affected in Massive Worldwide Breach on: February 18, 2019, 12:14:33 AM
Today, February 15, 2019 Coinmama was informed of a list of emails and hashed passwords that were posted on a dark web registry. Our Security Team is investigating, and based on the information at hand, we believe the intrusion is limited to about 450,000 email addresses and hashed passwords of users who registered until August 5th, 2017.

This comes as part of a larger breach affecting 24 companies and a total of 747 million user records.

https://www.ccn.com/breaking-major-crypto-brokerage-coinmama-hacked-450000-users-affected-in-massive-worldwide-breach

Few precautions after serious of hacks(cryptopia, localbitcoin, coinmama) :

1. Please avoid keeping your funds in exchanges
2. Use hardware wallet
3. Do not share your private key
4. Prefer using non-custodial exchanges like CoinSwitch, Changelly etc.,
5. Avoid KYC as much as you can.

These precautions are not applicable for traders, we mostly keep a quite amount of money in exchange so we can execute trade order immediately. For trader the thing that we need to avoid is to register using the same email and password that is registered in our exchange platform.

The most common way to get our email and password is by making fake giveaway or airdrop, and ask people to register using email and password, some of us still using the same email and password for every kind of situation. We should not do that

The red (Hearts and Diamond) is ok, but the black is hard to see because the background is dark,
but I thanks for your advice
Is it too hard to change the color? I would not mind to see one. May be a variation will give the OP to make a choice. Anyway, good luck bud.

Is there something specific you want to be on the banner or maybe things you don't want?
Like I've added now a link to the discord server, but maybe you don't like the link to discord?

I did change the discord button to a 'Join now' button Smiley
Nice one too. I suggest you to create a gif like icalical and post it here. This will get the attention very easily.

yeah, you are right, I decided to add different color background for the chips, check it here

Hi, I want to submit my design,

Preview is in .GIF, click image to view in HTML5 mode

I think I have met all requirements by theymos, but if later some of the objects need to be omitted I can revise it.
Nice work. I love the color pattern and the way you animated it. However I would like to see the original color of the cards.

Clubs (♣)
Spades (♠)
Diamonds ()
Hearts ()

You can give it a try. Good luck bud

Cheers :-)

The red (Hearts and Diamond) is ok, but the black is hard to see because the background is dark,

I just want to help OP, I do not have any affiliation with Stake nor OP,
Here are some brief guidelines from theymos for designing bitcointalk html5 ads,

~snip

Ads are allowed to contain any non-annoying HTML/CSS style. No images, JavaScript, or animation. Ads must appear 3 or fewer lines tall in my browser (Firefox, 900px wide). Ad text may not contain lies, misrepresentation, or inappropriate language.

~snip

To prevent matching on CSS classes/styles: Don't use inline CSS. I can give your ad a CSS class that is randomized on each pageload, but you must request this.

To prevent matching against your HTML structure: Use only one <a> and no other tags if possible. If your ads get blocked because of matching done on something inside of your ad, you are responsible for noticing this and giving me new ad HTML.

Designing ads

Make sure that your ads look good when you download and edit this test page:
https://bitcointalk.org/ad_test.html
Also read the comments in that file.

Images are not allowed no matter how they are created (CSS, SVG, or data URI). Occasionally I will make an exception for small logos and such, but you must get pre-approval from me first.

Otherwise there will be cheaters that only demand money, and make your data less accurate,
