I do not believe someone who has hacked accounts and scammed people would be bold enough to say that publicly, at the risk of getting a permanent ban.
Banned on what grounds? Its not against the rules to scam someone. Hacking, maybe? Although the rule is not written anywhere I doubt it is allowed. Hacking the forum is actually allowed (as long as you follow some guidelines) and might even get you rewarded. Hacking a user account, e.g. through phishing isnt punished AFAIK. The hacked user may not get the account back, because its unclear who the original owner is.

I haven't finished with 2015 yet. 2014 is as follows: Income: Donations: $114.78 Ads: $419,671.12 Expenses: Fees & services: $10,886.03 Forum software project: $1,151,595.23 Other contractors: $39,297.05 Mod payments: $104,575.79 Bounties: $505.30 I'm sorry if I misunderstood, I see Income: Donations: $ 114.78 Ads: $ 419,671.12 and Expenses: Fees & services: $ 10,886.03 Forum software project: $ 1,151,595.23 Other contractors: $ 39,297.05 Mod payments: $ 104,575.79 Bounties: $ 505.30 This means that the money to cover the expenses of the forum comes from advertising and donations? I see that Forum project software cost $ 1,151,595.23 in 2014. this means that in 2016 the cost to keep the forum will be higher. As the forum intend to pay many expenses this year? Who are the developers forum? are members of the staff or theymos program alone? Excuse me for asking so many questions I'm just curious. I think you should start here -> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?board=167.0It will answer most, if not all of your questions.

How much can they "spy"?
Worst case (they hold all connections to your node), they know about all your transactions and can possibly feed your node false data.

All the BTC are not in 'a wallet'. They are spread out and a lot are not online or with private keys lost forever. So the answer is NO. -snip-
Whats wrong with you people. The question is "If I have all(!) private keys in my wallet (does not matter where its from), do I controll all bitcoin?" and the answer to that question is yes. Just because you have a number stored on an offline system does not mean I can not have the exact same number stored on my system. The moment I know your secret number (the private key), your coins also belong to me. Good luck finding a 40564819207303340847894502572032 exabyte disk to store the keys though.

Just a simple question, if the answer is no please tell me the minimum number you'd feel safe at.
EDIT: If no also, would 1 in 2,176,782,336 be enough or still no?
First of all, if you mean a physical collision attack like a car crash, this thread should be in off-topic. But to answer your question, In in 10 000 000 000 would work well. 1 in 10 000 000 000 would still be cracked insanely fast.. You need big numbers with more than a 100 zeros to get safety from collission. Luckily, that's exactly what bitcoin provides. And even when you get a collision, the address most likely does not hold any coins. Nope, even if we assume full 256 bit there are only 78 decimal digits. For an unused (for paying, not receiving) address we can assume 160 bit (due to RIPEMD160) and for a used address 128 bit (due to ECDSA), so 49 and 39 decimal digits respectivly. If you must have 100 decimal digits to feel secure, bitcoin is too weak for you.

i think bitcoin has a potential to become a fiat money. i cant wait to see using bitcoin coins to buy some goods in stores and market. and also a physical bank of bitcoins that we can withdraw and deposit. Thats not what fiat means. Bitcoin can never become fiat, because it has intrinsic value due its properties.

Sounds more like something one would do with a little linux command line fu. Im thinking with awk, grep and pipes it shoudl be possible to take the output from vanitygen and pipe it into two different files.
Failing that... editing the pattern.c source file from the vanitygen github and recompiling should enable one to output the values to 2 separate files instead of either the console or to 1 file. (Hint: around line 500 is the vg_output_match_console() procedure that deals with outputting the matched addresses/keys) I'm just trying to figure out why someone would want something like this in the first place? ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ Might be an A B problem, where OP has problem A and thinks B is the solution, so they ask for help with B instead of help with A (which they actually want to solve).

Hey Guys, I am searching for a specified Bitcoin Vanity Generator, that puts out the Bitcoin address and the Private Key in 2 seperated files. It would be nice if somebody could give me a tool like this. Thank you, Patrick I don't know if this can help but look at this service that shorena is providing here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=1257817.0 Maybe you can ask him/her where to find a software that you are looking for since he/she knows a thing about vanity address. Sounds more like something one would do with a little linux command line fu. 1bappa
Or
1sumit
Hi send me your Part Public key and I'll whip something up. already send to shorena I could have had it done by now. Me too thank you received ..one more thing how much safe this address is for use ..in regard to safety of my coin ..and the private key you provide just that use to import in my wallet and you also have the private key ..so this can me missus sir .. please no hard felling just curious about this .. No hard feelings I get this asked a lot. The proper understand is a bit complex as it requires to understand ECDSA math. I wrote a post about it here[1]. The short version is: I never had your final key. You create one part and I the other. Only both parts can spend the funds on the vanity address and only you have them. !!! WARNING: This user is a newbie. If you are expecting a message from a more veteran member, then this is an imposter !!!
Sir perfect money payments are irreversible. You can check on there website.I have not used any recoverable mode of payment.Due to the nature of perfect money payments, that is the reason almost all HYIP sites accept perfect money because it is irreversible. What is the point ot giving me -ve trust? I am the one who is scammed by yobit. Yobit in no way lost nothing.
So, why write "this payment to your system is a scam. i never sent the money from my account to your exchange please refund me"?

hi i want addres start whit some thing like this
1bapparabi
can you tell me if this possible and cost will be .001 btc if so i can fellow the process
I'am not sure 9 words is possible as I can see from Second posts only about 8 words (max I think) and the price is depends on case sensitive yes or no, can be 1 BTC+ or lower Its pretty long yes, but without exact case its not out of reach. Timelord might be willing to do it for 0.1126 btc (keep in mind that this would take most likely a week or two). Let me know if thats a price you are willing to pay and I will contact them. No it's quite high price Tell me if this possible and cost 1bappa Or 1sumit Either is possible for 0.0001 BTC with exact case.

We have this IP in your login history.
I sent that payment and my problem is not related to that deposit. My problem is related to 7.7 USD i deposited which you are holding. You got my money in your account. If you think those funds are stolen then why don't you refund back to me my initial deposit back to my perfect money account? Ok you blocked my account but not for deposit only for withdraw? why? because you want my money to get locked in your account. I would have never deposited a penny if you just informed me via email that my account is blocked. You only blocked withdraw from my account and now saying those funds are stolen. This is cheat. quoted for reference

Your acc is under investigation and locked (we have abuse from PerfectMoney, stolen money has been deposited to your acc). It's not a big amount but a scam is a scam is a scam and has to be reported. been waiting from 10 hours since i requested a withdraw of 0.01254323 BTCthey did not send me any coins Proof - https://i.imgur.com/3sUWLkS.jpgYobit Username - AliceJohn3271 It is not usual as all my previous withdraw were instant from yobit but not this one. I contacted support. No one replied. pm'd yobit here on bitcointalk but he is not been online here since few days. Seems like i have to stop using yobit now. atleast people give -ve trust to yobit please. I was asked to look into this and left you a negative rating for now. At the very least the response time is horrible (so is mine, but I dont run a business).
