Okay so I don't really have any idea which coin is which and which of those are good to trade and which are not. Since I am currently enrolled in yobit campaign, I figured maybe I can do something profitable with the coins that I get from the campaign so I thought maybe I can start trading. Do you guys recommend yobit in trading altcoins? Also what coins do you guys suggest I trade? I want profits and not loses so any tips you guys can give me are really appreciated.
Not sure trading in alt coins is the best option though, considering the risk involved. I could be wrong of course because I have a few friends making a lot of bankroll on exactly that. Though/but, you could also trade on normal trading platforms usd/btc etc which in my opinion has a lot less risk. I mean usd/eur/gbp/btc won't vanish overnight.. altcoins can do exactly that. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Since I'm a newbie I need tips and techniques to earn bitcoin..
The first tip I would give you is to start reading through the threads on this forum, this question is asked a lot, and answered a lot.. Next google it up, bound to find some more interesting information. Then make friends that have satoshis and know more about it than you, and of course then learn from them ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Seriously. Don't trust the exchanges, don't trust online wallet services, don't trust your anti-virus software, and don't trust anybody online. If you absolutely must trust someone with your bitcoins, for the love, choose carefully! - Do you know their full name?
- Do you know where they are located?
- Have they demonstrated trustworthiness in the past?
- Are they asking you to trust them? (red flag)
- Do they have insurance?
Insurance? Impossible, you say. Not so! When I needed people to trust me to hold bitcoins for a contest, I deposited 50 bitcoins as a bond with a well-respected forum member, so that even if I did something stupid and lost people's money, they would still be reimbursed. You can read about it here: http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=10008.0Consider carefully who you will trust. With bitcoins, elaborate scams may be profitable. For instance, someone may develop trust for their user name over many months with small transactions on this forum, then take advantage of that trust to make off with a lot of money. Such a scam would only be worth doing on this forum. No other forum in the world would be worth the effort. If you want someone to hold your bitcoins for you, there are NO online services that have the transparency and security to make me comfortable using them for storing bitcoins for more than a short time in small amounts. The only way to do it is like I did - choose someone whom you believe to be trustworthy, and approach them. If they approach you, or in any way say or insinuate that they are a trustworthy person to hold your coins, STAY AWAY. If you are thinking that I might not be trustworthy, since I am writing this post about the issue, you are approaching the appropriate level of paranoia. If you want to store your bitcoins with maximum security, there are lots of resources about how to do it, such as this: https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Securing_your_walletHere's my summary: 1. Put all your coins in a new wallet that has never connected to the network 2. Encrypt that wallet with the maximum security you can find, using the most secure password you can keep track of 3. Delete the plaintext wallet, and distribute the encrypted wallet to every piece of physical media you own, store it online, and send it to several people you trust Don't think you can generate and remember a secure enough password? Create a super-long password, and store clues to help you remember it. For instance, your password clue file might say: My standard password + My throwaway password (backwards, all caps) + &#$%@ + First two sentences of first paragraph of page 19 of my favorite book (include all capitalization and punctuation) + My wife's mother's middle name + My son's favorite superhero + My favorite number times 8734 + food my wife hates (backwards, all caps) + 9-digit number stored with my paper will + 10-character password stored in my safety deposit box + . . . . You can go on in this way to create as long a password as you want. Store this password clue file with your encrypted wallet, and optionally encrypt both with a simple standard password to keep out snoopers. In this way, not only can you recover your coins from your "savings account" at a later date, if you get hit by a chicken truck tomorrow and die, your loved ones can probably piece together your password and recover the coins too (better make sure you trust them, and that between them they have or can get the answers to those clues). I recommend that you practice your wallet encryption and recovery a few times with a small number of coins, until you are very comfortable with the process before you try it with the bulk of your savings. And remember, this is how most bitcoins services get started: ![](https://ip.bitcointalk.org/?u=https%3A%2F%2Flh3.googleusercontent.com%2F-lgm4poF3JWE%2FTgsHwby-BlI%2FAAAAAAAADwQ%2Ftwan94HT6p4%2F020.jpg&t=663&c=jRS1JRxASiyvhA) Comic from: http://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=13903.0My biggest enemy is me, i've lost 6.2 Btc due to trusting in my capability of remembering my own wallet password, and writing down the passphrase etc.. when that time came, I waved my coins farewell. off they went as orphan coins. Luckily Im not James Howell though, he lost 7,500 Btc by throwing away his HDD and realized afterwards what error he made ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

I would liek to bit BTC with a credit card. I basically jsut want to fund my mt.gox account with money and id like to use a credit card to do so. Everything seems so confusing for this. Could someone give me a step by step way.
https://paxful.com/ is the answer you're probably looking for. I had the exact same question many months back. I've bought and sold btc using payment methods like credit card, paypal, amazon giftcard etc.. Another option for you could be https://purse.io/. I've also used them in the beginning when i was super hungry for coins. Never had a problem with either of them. They both have build-in escrow service that they use as well. Only drawback is that sometimes the prices can be kinda high depending on which of the traders are online. Concerning safety and trustworthiness, you won't have a problem at all ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Hi! i'm a bitcoin newbie here How can I earn Bitcoins fast and free?? thanks for the help ![Cheesy](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/cheesy.gif) I see there is a lot of people asking the same thing, fast, free, effortless coins.. how? To be honest, it would benefit you a lot more in the longrun starting from the ground up..ya know, put in some elbow grease and try understanding a bit more about it, do some low level jobs to earn some small amounts, hit the faucets and keep building up. You will see in due time through the course of everything you do it will make more sense, and of course, you will have a better idea of how to actually make some on your own, without help or effort. If all else fails, then making a deposit and investing in a casino's bankroll is the next best thing in the long run, or trading alt coins as the prices go up and down ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

I am new here and every thing here is new for me. Can anyone help me to know which are the best trusted websites through which i can earn btc quickly?
If you are a complete noob, then I would suggest you start off by watching a few vidoes on cryptocurrencies.. Then perhaps use faucet rotator, and just keep on going from there? Next take the satoshis you make from those faucets and go gamble it, take part in competitions and giveaways, get tipped, tip some out. My journey with btc has been a very long and hard one, learning new stuff everywhere I go, making bits here and there until i felt confident to make my first deposit. If you just want to pull out the coins over the internet, then being a programmer would help a lot as well seeing as thought there is always(usually) a shortage of them in the cryptofield ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif) Good luck to you!

Hi guys, How can I earn 1BTC a year? is it possible? if so how?
By the way, my brother is already member of this forum, will I(or he) problem if we use the same IP but different PCs?
3 satoshis per second or 190 satoshis per minute would get you to a coin within a year.. How to get those within these time frames depends on how much time you have to burn on this "goal" of yours. Are you starting from zero? etc.. I started learning about Btc around a year ago and I've made a few coins so far in profits. So I will say that is surely possible ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

I was very trouble to collect BTC, I want to ask
means anything that can be used to collect BTC? Then the means which are getting more BTC?
One of the ways I got my first few satoshis was claiming them on a faucet rotater website. After that I took those few satoshis and gambled with them, and from that point onwards its been growing and shrinking. Good intro for me when i was a noob person. Now the best way is to just buy some when the price is kinda low and within your price range. How to let it grow from that point onwards is an unsure thing to say the least and there are no guaranteed ways to make profits without risks.. So be carefull when you reach that point ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

I want to know where the gambling sites are the richest ? betcoin.tm,primedice,Luckyb.it,rollin.io,freebitco.in,DirectBet Casino, jackpotracer,VegasToMacau,Uni Games etc Where do you think ![Huh](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/huh.gif) Prime Dice and Betking for sure, its where all the whales are playing, usually massive wins and loses, and they are there of course to try and collect those "riches" hidden away behind the rolls ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Mine is BTC0.1. I felt absolutely devastated after that...
Please do share your experiences and your biggest loss.
Not sure if you mean biggest "single" or "total" loss? The biggest single loss I had was around a year back and 0.1 was RIP, my biggest total loss in a single session was 4.01 BTC around 3 months back ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

How does one Put down Gambling for good?
If you are addicted, then support should always be the first choice. We as humans are like pack animals. We crave social interaction and being alone won't get you far at all. Family and true friends could help you.. other than that the decision lies in your hands, but family and friends will help and support you in making that decision ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Is gambling OK? Don't bet it! There's not an easy or instantly obvious proof text answer to that question.
Well.. Lets break it down. Gamble = (1)playing games of chance for money or (2)to take risky action in the hope of a desired result. The latter description can immediately be ruled out seeing as Abraham bargains with God((2)(Genesis 18:23-25)) and of course God indulges in this "gamble". Instead of saying no to (2), God actually partakes in this risky action where Abraham is trying to get what he wants. At this point it could go either ways. Perhaps God is indirectly saying that gambling is okay? What does the scripture say? As an example, casting lots is used in Leviticus to choose between the sacrificial goat and the scapegoat. Joshua cast lots to determine the allotment of land to the various tribes. Nehemiah cast lots to determine who would live inside the walls of Jerusalem. The apostles cast lots to determine the replacement for Judas and many more. All that is left is playing games of chance for money. Is this wrong? Was it wrong for the disciples to pluck the heads of grain on the Sabbath? Matthew 12:1-14. Read this also Matthew 12:3-4. Bearing these things in mind, notice how skillfully the Lord answered the challenge of the Pharisees. Knowing full well that He would not change the Pharisees’ minds about the disciples’ actions being viewed as work, Jesus allowed the allegation of Sabbath-breaking to go unchallenged (even though wrong). Looking at such questions trying to determine indefinitely what is wrong or right is the wrong way to go about it. Gambling, drinking, eating in moderation is fine in my opinion. The moment you go "all in" and overdo it.. that's where the real problem lies. I could quote more, and give more opinions of how I connect certain lines within scripture, but the conversations is way to big to do it all in one go.. Ps. Instead of wondering if gambling is right or wrong, rather concentrate on how your love is for your fellow man and God.. ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

question for hardcore gamblers ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) when you have btc you mostly spend all on gambling and you are addicted how so when you dont have btc you dont miss gambling? i know that i gamble for fun (i dont care too much of my money so i can afford to lose 10,50,100$) so why when you have btc you go to gamble even tho you know you will most likely lose ? does this question have any sence to you? if not ill just lock topic im just interested how people when have btc they are addicted and when they dont have gambling addiction is not comming out.? regards. -Katerniko1 Well I'm a *hardcore* gambler in the sense of the proportion that I would be willing to play with, which is everything. I do spend all my bitcoin on gambling yes, and sure, being honest, I am addicted to the fun/entertainment/rush that it brings. Now the difference comes in that I use bankroll management the same way I use it in poker. Just because i make a deposit of 1 Btc, doesn't mean I will immediately go all in with everything hehe. That would be like me gulping down an entire cake in one go. Nope, I would rather use a percentile of my balance and have fun with it, and if things go well, perhaps play a bit more, or if things go really bad in between the not so fun playing session, perhaps cashout. Just because a person gambles a lot, and makes massive deposits, does not mean they will most likely lose everything or keep on playing till its gone, or "yolo" wager everything in one go. I almost think thats just another stereotypical thing to say that sums up a few, and then used for all. Ps. I do know of a few people that fit your description perfectly, but not all are like that ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

Well to be fair, I can lose everything. A person can go as far as to make debt to cover the loss, then gamble that away as well, and then the loan sharks come to collect *shivers down spine* . In the end it depends on what type of person your are, what mindset you are in when doing the deed and many other factors. Me personally, I can only lose what im willing to put in, which is around 2Bitcoins. Nothing more and if i ever recover that, then i'll probably be willing to lose it again. How much time I'm willing to lose on video games is different matter though because I am weak in that aspect

Let's be honest. Gambling should only be considered for entertainment purposes only. If you are in need of quick cash, doing hard dirty work is more often than not better than hitting up the casino sites. I see way too many people in this section try to justify their gambling habits by saying they have strategies to always win. Others on this forum will go as far as to say that they are professional gamblers, and they always win. You're fooling no one and you look stupid.
All the gambling addicts I knew in real life who claimed to win from casinos all the time had serious mental issues. I went gambling with that guy once, and he ended up blaming me for him loosing at Pai Gow poker, a game that's 100% chance.
And just to let you guys know, ALL the casinos in my jurisdiction say the same things in public advertising campaigns. So far, my sig campaign manager has not PM'ed me telling me to quit bashing gambling. Nobody wins gambling, so lets stop pretending anyone here makes a living gambling online.
Have you ever heard of Counting Cards in BlackJack? Ever heard of the story "MIT students figured out how to make winning the Massachusetts lottery a sure thing" ? Horse racing fixing perhaps ? So to be really honest, no, gambling is not only considered for entertainment purposes. Its considered for making money as well. Ps. every choice in life is a gamble, because no person can be 100% sure of anything. so choose carefully ![Grin](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/grin.gif)

I see there is so many people trying hard to stop gambling their money because they've losing so much If you not ready to lose your money, then don't even try to gamble!
It is easy to say "I will stop Gambling". But, I already told this to myself many times and i am always ending up gambling. Yes i do win for hours but in the end of the day all is lost. Still Gambling is fun and it is really hard to avoid. ![Smiley](https://bitcointalk.org/Smileys/default/smiley.gif) Goodluck Actually it depends on what purpose are you going play, if you are going to play for fun if you are losing it may be it wont affect you really much but if you are play it for profit i think you really need to recover and need to play slowly and dont rush and the last one is to set some limit on how much you are willing to lose Definitely. If you have a gambling problem then you'd be playing for profit. If you are just playing for fun then you would know better than to gamble what you can't afford to lose. That's why whales are so prone to losing all their life savings.
