Unfortunately 65 USD/chip for mass production is not a deal for me. Let us hope that they will lower the price when time comes.
Best

The chips only cost a few dollars each to produce, so there's a big margin for profit there...  It'll come down to be competitive, same as before with ASICMINER.
Shure they will do, but they will become of no interest for us even if they are free, because just money and time spent to make them mine will never pay out. I am not talking about profit at all
1563  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: Avalon2 based miner from Technobit - HEX16A2 on: December 23, 2013, 02:19:22 PM
I received my board on friday, but I didn't manage to compile a running cgminer with patch on my raspberry pi, because it seems that the driver is not found while "make" process.
So i installed Linux Mint on my HTPC and used 2GOODs precompiled version, which works fine at the moment, but the goal is to safe power and use the pi instead.

Any ideas why it won't work with pi?
I already tried different patches and versions of cgminer, but there is always the same error message:
Code:
CC     cgminer-usbutils.o
CC     cgminer-driver-hexminerc.o
CCLD   cgminer
cgminer-driver-hexminerc.o: In function `hexminerc_send_task':
/home/pi/cgminer/driver-hexminerc.c:72: undefined reference to `SHA256_K'
collect2: ld returned 1 exit status
make[2]: *** [cgminer] Error 1
make[2]: Leaving directory `/home/pi/cgminer'
make[1]: *** [all-recursive] Error 1
make[1]: Leaving directory `/home/pi/cgminer'
make: *** [all] Error 2

With what parameters do you guys start cgminer? My board is only hashing with 20GH/s at the moment.

thanks in advance

I built the patched version (for the hex bitfury but doesnt matter same patch) on pi without any issues.

Are u sure the patch u used matches the exact cgminer commit?

Whats the full name of the .patch file u used? and where did u download cgminer from?
And make sire you run autogen.sh

Okay so I managed it to connect my Hex16A2 to the power supply but could not get it to start hashing.

I downloaded HEX Miner 1.0.0.3 and the mining proxy. Still am not able to get started.

If someone is able to help me in exchange for a small donation please contact me via PM
Hey,
Consider buying tplink and flash it then forget.
I hope someone knowledgeable in Win can help you out though

Hey Joe i missed your posts.
How is your A*S doing lately? I am wandering how many BTC are you producing with 16 Avalon1 chips inside Grin

I do not want to hear your bullshit also. Go and cry somewhere else
Thank you
His trust of the forum is for sure because of his action and no matter how hard you try to destroy it you will loose. PERIOD

Yes I saw his trust right here:

https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?action=trust;u=84195

Trust: -4: -1 / +0(0)
Warning: Trade with extreme caution!
Hahahaha
Joe I see this Trust: 0: -0 / +0(0)
I'm not able to prove if you got your chips or not as far it was regular mail in order you refused to pay handling.
@ the END I'll spend 50-100 USD for DHL and then will wait to see what next you'll write about in my treads.

We shall see. So far you have not done anything that I can tell.

If you were an honorable businessman you would send me back my 1.43 BTC from your BOTCHED group buy
No Joe
Not going to happen .
I think you got your chips by mail and because there is no tracking I can check you  continue to troll my treads.

Any way Merry Christmas and Happy new year.
Who knows may be you'll manage to piss me off enough in order to spend some money and DHL you some more  chips, just to see what else you can do

Best Martin
He should be thankful of a warm feeling in his ass. He should fell the sweet pleasure of hashing
I think he owns you money because of that Grin
1566  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX16A2 - 16 chip Avalon Gen2 board on: December 23, 2013, 12:45:46 PM
I really hope mine come with molex conectors. I realy don't want to go messing with striping wires
Forr 9amps I prefer wires 100% Thicker the better
1567  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX16A2 - 16 chip Avalon Gen2 board on: December 23, 2013, 12:08:44 PM
My HEX16A2 finally arrived today (although it was an order that was supposed to be shipped 3rd. wekk of November...) - really dissapointing.

Also it does not have the molex power supply as described just a tiny screw terminals without any markings whatsover. This means I dont know which line is the +12V and which one the ground port.

Does anyone of you guys have an Idea?
Hey,
1. If you do have multimeter around you can check it out. There must be a shortcut between heatsink and minus.
2. Do not count on it unless confirmed but plus is the closest one to the boarder of the board
1568  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Bi•Fury | 5+ GH/s USB Miner [FASTEST USB MINER IN THE WORLD] on: December 23, 2013, 09:39:22 AM
First of all, our main product is on a Christmas sale! - Yes, the price has dropped significantly.

According to Sushi and a few others around here, BitCoinTalk members are only 1/3 as moronic as Ebay buyers.  While Ebay morons would be happy to pay $322 for 5GH/s, the moron here only want to pay 1/3 that price.  Honestly even $120 each would be my limit at this difficulty and BTC price.  $64 per GH is still way too high.

If I buy 10 BiFury devices at $2999, I'll have ~50GH/s.
If I buy 10 ASICMiner Blades at $2499, I'll have ~100GH/s.
If I buy 6 ASICMiner Cubes at $2808, I'll have ~180GH/s.

$200 -$500 cheaper and two to three times the speed.  I just don't see any advantage in buying these compared to other devices currently available.  Am I missing something?

Yes you do!
Because it is Christmas time you are missing the golden chance not to loose 100% of your investment but only 90%. Grin

1569  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX16A2 - 16 chip Avalon Gen2 board on: December 22, 2013, 03:40:50 PM
Okay I will try, Thank you very much Smiley

Do I have to start cgminer with any parameters?

That parameter already right. And i hope you not forget to power on the PSU  Cheesy

Really sorry dude, i was wrong. You use wrong parameter. I guess that's the real problem.

The correct parameter is:
Code:
sudo ./cgminer --hexminerc-voltage 1100 --hexminerc-options 16:1500 --set_default_to_c

I tried to compile v3.8.5 but it failed. So i switched back to v3.8.1 and used your parameters, but "--set_default_to_c" doesn't work. Here is a screenshot of the verbose debug messages of cgminer. The HEX16A2 just blinks (red and green)

PSU is no name and also tried with an external powered usb hub

Hey,
1. Enable only HexC Avalon2 board by doing ./autogen.sh -enable-hexminerc
2. Triple check if your board is powered 12v use multimeter and measure the power on miles/thermal connector. It should show you 12v

1570  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: [ANN] Technobit HEX16A2 - 16 chip Avalon Gen2 board on: December 22, 2013, 12:30:05 PM
Hi guys,

I followed the instructions on page 11 to get the board running with cgminer, but no success so far. Also on windows it was not possible for me the get it running.

The board LED's are blinking sometimes , sometimes not. Has anyone any Idea or had the same problems?
At least it got recognized on my raspberry, but thats all so far.

Could you please tell us you configuration & which miner board(HEX16A, HEX16B, HEX16C, Nanofury)  Smiley

ohh sorry,
it is the HEX16A2 connected to raspberry pi with debian wheezy, PSU has 16A at 12V, so it should be enough power available.
I tried with cgminer 3.8.1 with patch, board gets recognized but no hashes

i used this command to start cgminer:
sudo ./cgminer --hexminerc-voltage 900 --hexminerc-options 16:540
Wrong no bugs there read Zich post below ...

Hello @ll,

my 2 cents: stop bitching each other. people are waiting for their orders for one, two months now? Confidence ist lost and technobit or marto is responsible for restoring trust. not the buyers or users.

to all of you, have a very nice christmas. :-)
You too!

After your post here I do not want to ship to you and I'm ready to send your money back .
So, please, please give me your order ref.

Where have I seen this type of behavior before...

Glad I didn't order any of these, and even more glad that Marto never responded to a PM of mine inquiring about these.

It's sickening how the Bitcoin mining hardware scene corrupts so absolutely.
I think you did not understand
He is just trolling here .
If his order is late and he do not want to wait for me anymore, then I'll refund him .
I honestly do not have time to answer question and I'm sorry but you have to understand , that we are small business of 2-3 people that rose too fast.
We switched from just making assembly of small batch K16 to designing our own board , then another , then production under licence.
We switched from sourcing 300+ sets of components to 1000+ and we have some failures and delays.
But we are not going to scam anybody.
I understand everybody's anger and eagerness to get his miner board faster, but We are doing our best and obviously it is not enough.
And as far We did not met somebody's expectation we are ready to refund immediately, except the cases when there is danger for stolen account .
UBAUBA do not want refund or do not have an order with us.
So why so hard word, how is this helping us and the other customers.
If he believes he got scammed let us do a refund, that's all.

Best Martin

He is not trolling, he is speaking the truth.
The number of people like myself who you have screwed is growing daily.
You are a liar and a thief. You stole BTC1.43 from me, claimed you shipped me chips 2+ months ago that never arrived.
It's time for you to be done!

No one wants to hear your bullshit anymore.

Your trust on this forum is there because of what you have done not because of Trolls.

GO AWAY!

1578  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: PAPA ASIC - UNmoderated discussions topic on: December 18, 2013, 03:52:27 PM

Boycott the pre-orders and I bet you will see a better ASIC market with more reputable companies and far less delays.  I understand you want to get a jump on the next generation miners,  but how many companies have actually delivered on time.  Bet you can count them on one hand.
There is the reason why people will not boycott pre-orders. THE GREED.  Angry
And companies will receive pre-orders with no-refund payment ways only till competition so weak.

I suppose it can be changed if new company use escrow for penetrate to the mining market. It helps get huge amount of pre-orders even for newbie.
Yes agreed but preorders from nobody?
 I doubt it
The funny part is just a single funny video + unclear pictures can turn this all around and make Camera man man a reach MAN
1579  Bitcoin / Hardware / Re: PAPA ASIC - UNmoderated discussions topic on: December 18, 2013, 03:43:46 PM
In all cases his deal is a looser in business terms if he is scammer or not. I have posted milion times in his tread and get deleted also
Folks do not buy it!
That is all
