Nothing difficult actually, if you have your own target for example; you are waiting for ETH to get dumped slightly from where it is, as long as the price declined a little bit from where you made that strategy. It can be considered as 'following our strategy'. Unless you are waiting or an unreasonable target, like waiting for ETH at $10 or less than that. There is no way you will get it in near future. and we can not jump to it randomly, as we can see. We are waiting for momentum, and we are yet to see it right now. waiting for a couple of days is not a problem, even though we will end up buying higher from before. As long as the trend changes and everything moves exactly same as you predicted, nothing will go wrong. |

I think people are not talking about 'Constantinople' fork but it concerned rather the other two forks. One seems to be (at least) a shitcoin (Classic Vision Fork : https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5089443.0) and the other as already been detected as a probable scam (Nowa fork --> https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=5079183.0). It is very obvious that he was talking about the exchanges, especially Binance because they are supporting the hardfork. the other two forks have nothing to do with ETH itself because one of them was labeled as a scam project by the community a week ago and the other one is an airdrop(even though their source code is forked from ETH). that was why I asked him, why he was angry with those exchanges because of the upgrade. |

Ethereum is in preparation to make huge come back after the upcoming hard fork probably. Yes this is very true, but calling it hardfork and upgrade at the same time is not wrong either. Because essentially, hardfork means to be an upgrade. It's just because of those chain split, many people only knew it as something 'bad' instead of a 'good' one. that is technically, but fundamentally the price might move out of our expectation. do not forget the fact that they are going to migrating their system from PoW to PoS in the future, and this upgrade means to soften it. IF the transition is happening in a couple of months later, there will be a huge fud wandering about in our space. It has been discussed by the dev a while ago before the delay. yes, mining is not profitable any longer for a couple of months, and do not forget that this hardfork will encompass five separate Ethereum Improvement Proposals (EIPs) that will help and soften ETH to make its transition in the future. |
